His Favorite Toy

By the end of the movie, he realized he had no idea what they had watched or a single thing it was about. He looked down at Aurora as the movie returned to the main menu and found her sleeping. He smiled and lifted her up with him as he got off the couch. She didn’t wake up or even make a sound as he carried her into her room. He laid down with her on top of him and tossed the blanket over them. Only one more night sharing a tiny, worn-out, twin bed in a crappy apartment. He had made sure their new bed was king size with a pillow top. He fell asleep thinking about all the changes that were about to happen in the morning.

Aurora awoke slowly, as if coming out of a wonderful dream. She was comfortable and warm were she was. She didn’t want to move a single inch, but a hard, pipe-like object between her legs had her struggling to get up. Thick arms curled tighter around her in a protective embrace, making it more of a struggle to get up. In a way, she wanted to remain where she was but her mind instinctively screamed at her to get up. When she finally managed to escape, she was faced with an angry, half-awake Theo. She couldn’t help but giggle at him.

“Get back over here.” He groggily spoke.

“Nope.” She stuck her tongue out at him and dashed to the bathroom.

She hurriedly stripped herself of her clothes and hopped into the shower for warmth. It wasn’t nearly as nice as being wrapped in Theo’s muscular arms but it was better than shivering. She scrubbed herself from top to bottom, removed all unwanted hair, and even had time to use a pumice bar on her feet. She thoroughly dried herself off, wrapped the towel around her body and a smaller one around her hair to stop it from dripping all over the place. She made sure to lotion her cleanly shaved legs before going to find an outfit to wear. Theo was no longer laying in bed when she entered the room and gave a sigh of relief. She found a pair of medium-blue skinny jeans, a black sleeveless top with crisscrossing strings over her chest, and a red plaid cover up that came with the top.

Aurora found Theo in the kitchen, cooking up scrambled eggs and French toast. She sat down at the counter and stared at the shirtless man, shocked that of all the people she could have ended up with, she picked Theo Stone. She didn’t realize she was ogling the way his back muscles moved until he turned to face her. She quickly moved her eyes up but it was too late, his face was plastered with a cocky smirk.

“I would have treated you to more than breakfast if you would have stayed in bed a little longer.” He set a plate full of food in front of her.

“I needed to get ready.” She mumbled and lowered her head as her cheeks turned pink.

“Ready for what?” He grabbed his plate and sat down next to her.

  “I don’t know.” She shrugged.

  “How* about for moving?”

  “Moving?” She glanced at him.

“Yea. I got us a new place, same building as your brother.” He smirked.

“I can’t afford that, Theo.” She gave him a sharp look.

“You don’t have to pay for anything. I will.”

  “No, I won’t allow that!”

“You have to.” His smirk grew.

“Wha-” Suddenly it dawned on her that she had agreed to listen to him. “I didn’t mean all decisions! Only if it has to do with my well-being.”

“This does.” He took a large bite of piping hot eggs, hissing slightly as he swallowed them down.

“I have a perfectly good apartment.”

“You deserve so much more, Aurora.”

His serious tone caught her off guard and she found herself blushing even more. Not knowing what to say, she started scarfing down her food before it cooled off too much. It made her stomach happy, normally she would skip breakfast even if she was hungry. The cinnamon on the toast was perfect and the eggs had been seasoned wonderfully. Theo, of course, finished first and began cleaning up everything.

  “I can do that.”

“I got it. You finish eating, we have a lot of packing.”

“Wait, when do you plan on moving me?”

“Today.” He laughed. “I’m not sleeping on a tiny bed anymore.”

“Hold on! You’re moving in with me?” She gapped.

He turned to give her a look that told her she had asked a very stupid question.

“Sorry.” She murmured. “It’s just all happening way faster than I thought.”

  “You’ll get used to it.”

She rolled her eyes and brought her now empty plate over to him.

“Is this place as big as Caleb’s?”

“Yea. Except we have a balcony.” He peered at her from the corner of his eye to see her reaction.

“A balcony!” She lit up, giving him the reaction he wanted. “I’ve always wanted one.”

“I know.” He leaned down to kiss the top of her head.

Aurora cranked her head up to give him a confused look. To her, he was acting weird. But then again, she had seen him in a completely different light because of the way she viewed their childhood.

  “How did you know?”

“You told me once, as kids.”

“I thought you didn’t like me.”

“You and I both know that’s not true.” He chuckled. “But I did have a bad way of showing it.” He muttered as he turned around to finish the dishes. “Now, go start packing. I want to get out of here.”

She sighed, then turned on her heel to do as he said but only because she didn’t want him to toss her stuff into a bag or damage any of her things. She packed for hours, working as quickly and neatly as she could. Clothes went into garbage bags, as well as pillows and blankets. Theo left after cleaning to get boxes and brought back lunch with him. He made her stop to eat their sandwiches together, then helped her by packing away everything in the kitchen as she worked on the living room. She really didn’t have a lot and her place wasn’t very big to even have a lot. By the end of the day, they had managed to get everything packed. Aurora stood in the middle of her now very empty apartment as Theo and one of his friends, Eli she thought, put everything into a truck to haul over to their new place.

Aurora stared at Theo in disbelief. Not only had he purchased an extremely extravagant apartment without even talking to her about it, he had also purchased a new bed, new furniture, and basically a whole new kitchen. She had opened her mouth to argue again, but he quickly shot her down. Eli stayed to help move everything into the apartment while Aurora directed the two men. She was too tired to really unpack anything but her favorite pillows which she tossed onto the bed. They ordered Chinese food and barely made a dent in the massive amount Theo had ordered. Aurora packed away the leftovers as Eli stood up.

“I better get back to Lacey.” He spoke as he tossed his plate.

Theo gave a slight wave as the man left. The name Lacey gave Aurora a nasty feeling, the memory of what had happened and her encounter with the red-haired woman still fresh in her mind.

“You don’t have to worry about her.” Theo spoke as he pulled her onto his lap. “I only have to protect you now.”

  “Yea, I know.” She grumbled.

Theo started to let his hands wonder all over her body, gentle but firm. He buried his face into her neck and kissed her softly. Suddenly, Aurora had a shocking thought.

“Oh my gosh!” She gasped out and tried wiggling out of his grasp.

“What?” He refused to let her leave him.

  “Caleb!”

  “What about him?”

“Does he know that I’m living here? Better yet, does he know about, um.” She had a hard time saying her last word.

“Us?” Theo finally said, his voice taking on an irritated note. “You need to get use to the idea of us being together.”

“I know, I know but what about Caleb?”

“What about him? He’s probably know for a long time that I’ve liked you.”

  “You’ve never told him?”

“Of course, I’ve never told my best friend that I’m m
adly in love with his little sister.”

“I’m not that much younger.” She pouted, too embarrassed to address the second half of what he said.

Theo sighed and shifted her so that they were face to face and she was straddling him.

“I’ll invite him over tomorrow and tell him, okay? You could bake some cookies to ease him into things better.” He teased. “I have all the baking stuff you’ll need already stocked.”

After a long minute, Aurora finally agreed. She wanted Caleb to know as soon as possible but it was already late in the day. No sense in calling him now.

“Now, back to what we were doing.” He nibbled on her ear.

  “Huh?”

Theo gripped her hips and pulled her tightly to his chest, one arm encircling her to keep her in place. Her eyes connected with his bright green ones, her breath taken away for the moment. She felt her body heat, her core tingling with anticipation. She parted her lips to say something, what she wasn’t sure, but she never had a chance. His lips hungrily claimed hers and his hand cradled the back of her head to bring her in for a deeper kiss. She didn’t resist, she couldn’t even if she had wanted to. She pressed her breasts against him and wrapped her arms around his neck, one hand scrapping against his scalp as their tongues danced together. Her panties seemed to have liquified and she could feel Theo’s excitement through his jeans.

“Let’s go christen the bed.” He growled with arousal.

She still couldn’t manage any words and opted for a nod of approval. He stood up, her in his arms and her legs around his waist. He continued to kiss her as he left the living room. Half way down the hall, she bit his lip and he slammed her into a wall. He was unable to control himself, he grabbed each side of her shirt and ripped the front open. He stopped any complaints with his mouth and let his hands yank off her cover up along with her now destroyed top. His fingers curled around the middle of her bra when she managed to pull away from his kiss.

“Don’t you dare ruin my bra.” She panted, lust thick in her voice.

  “I’ll buy you another.”

  “No!” She whined.

He gave her a toothy smirk and proceeded to trash yet another piece of clothing. With her breast now free, he leaned down and captured one in his warm mouth. She sucked in a sharp breath, her head falling against the wall and her eyes closing in bliss. She let him take complete control, his skillful movements taking her higher and higher until she couldn’t bare it anymore.

“Theo. Bed. Now.” She gasped out.

  “As you wish.”

He stumbled away from the wall and burst through a door a couple of feet farther down the hall. He tossed her onto the middle of a huge bed but she didn’t have time to focus on that. He removed his shirt, kicked off his pants, and discarded his socks and boxers as he climbed onto the bed. Aurora had placed her hands over her breasts which Theo quickly moved and pinned above her head.

“Don’t move your hands.” He warned, letting her go.

Theo continued down to her pants, hastily unbuttoning them and yanking them off. He took a moment to appreciate her lacey panties before giving her another evil smirk.

“Don’t you dare!” She playfully screamed and reached for her underwear.

“I told you not to move.” His smirk widened as he re-pinned her arms above her.

He bent down, grabbing the waist band with his teeth and one hand. A second later, her panties were on the floor in a crumbled pile. Next came his tongue and a groan that sent pleasurable vibrations through her. She let out a moan, encouraging Theo to continue. He moved and swirled and toyed with her. He’d bring her to her breaking point only to back off.

  “Please, Theo.” She breathed out.

He let out a chuckle against her sensitive area, another moan rippling through her. He tortured her for another minute or two then slowly made his way up her body. He kept her legs parted, readying her for his member.

“I had to punish you a little for not listening.” He gave her a cocky smile, then pushed deep inside her.

They both let out a moan, their bodies frozen for a second to adjust. Soon, he started to move and create a nice rhythm. He was slow at first, making sure to enjoy her sweet center as much as he possibly could. Aurora felt relief from being filled, her hips moving to meet his in perfect harmony. Her breathing increased and no long after she was crumbling under him. Wave and wave flowing through her as he continued his fast, hard pace. He followed shortly after her, pulling out to finish on the comforter of their brand-new bed. He collapsed next to her, his body half on her. He cupped the side of her face farthest from him and kissed the cheek closest to him. After throwing the soiled blanket on to the ground and grabbing Aurora’s old, twin sized comforter, they passed out in the soft expanse of their new bed.

Morning came in a glory of warm sunshine mixed with a musky scent of the man curled around her. Today, she didn't fight him to get out of bed. She was much too comfortable to do so. She gently trailed her finger tips over his arm and across his shoulder, then back down in an endless circle. Both were completely naked and she oddly didn't feel self-conscious at all. She laid in bed like that for another 20 minutes before Theo woke up. He gave a half-asleep grumbled moan, his eyes cracking open to see her smiling face above him.

  "Am I dreaming?" He mumbled.

"Nope." Aurora giggled, her cheeks heating slightly from his words.

"It feels like it." He grinned. "How did you sleep?"

"Great. This bed must have cost a lot."

"Only the best for you." He teased.

Aurora rolled her eyes but a smile remained on her face. Her hand stopped caressing his arm and earned her a disappointed groan from Theo.

  "Why'd you stop?"

"It's time to get up." She laughed. "We have to tell Caleb everything, remember?"

"That's not something that takes all day." He glared at her.

"No, but I need to make cookies."

"Fine!" He finally caved and pulled his arms, as well as his warmth, away from her. "I'm going to shower, you go make the cookies."

She let her eyes follow Theo's naked body to the bathroom attached to their room. Part of her wanted to join him but she wanted to get things over with Caleb. She rolled out of bed and dug through a couple of her bags until she found undergarments to put on. She also pulled out a black dress with cherries all over it. The bodice was form fitting while the bottom flared out around her hips. She slipped on a pair of red wedge sandals that she had never had a chance to wear and headed to the kitchen.

Theo hadn't been joking when he told her the kitchen was already stocked. She had absolutely everything she would need to make Caleb's favorite chewy, chocolate cookies. If that didn't work, she'd have to tempt him with the leftovers they had in the fridge. Chinese was one of his favorites as well, there was no way he'd be able to stay mad for long. She got to work on her cookies, Theo coming out shortly after she started. He sat himself down at the kitchen table and watched her work.

"Do you have to stare at me?" She kept her back to him as she said this.

"Yep." He popped the 'p' and continued to enjoy the view.

Around noon, after the cookies had plenty of time to cool, Theo picked up his phone and called Caleb. It started off good, he told Caleb about how he had rented an apartment in the same building as him. He was ecstatic and asked if he could come down to check out the place. That's when Theo said there was another surprise. Aurora's stomach was so knotted in anxiety that she had to leave the room while Theo told her brother. She hid in the kitchen, setting out cookies on a tray and taking out the Chinese to ease Caleb into things. About 5 minutes later, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." Theo spoke from the living room.

A second later, she heard her brother greet Theo. She held her breath, listening to the two men as they came into the kitchen.

"Rory." Caleb tried to keep a stern look on his face
but failed miserably.

"Your-You're not mad?" She spoke softly.

"I always kind of knew." He grinned as he reached for a cookie. "Is that Chinese?" He pointed to the white boxes and plastic containers.

"Yup. She was so scared you'd come in here yelling that she set this all up."

"You suggested the cookies!" She scolded Theo.

"Only to make you feel better." He laughed.

Aurora huffed, crossed her arms over her chest and stomped out into the living room. She wasn't mad, more embarrassed than anything. The two joined her after they each had heated up a plate of food. Theo set the plate in his hand in front of Aurora, then headed back to the kitchen to make himself a plate.
