The call had been a long time coming and Ian Birtley was glad to be sent back into action. There was nothing worse than waiting, sitting around by the bike just waiting while the filth swarmed everywhere.

Lenny switched on the engine and churned the throttle. The traffic was clogged up from Victoria back to Hyde Park forcing Lenny to weave in and out from bumper to bumper.

Victoria Street was shut off, just as they expected, so Lenny spun around the block instead, ignoring the one ways till the front of the New Scotland Yard building faced them across the street.

Birtley counted the floors and windows, making a mental note of the target before he removed the RPG -7.

The rest was clockwork. The rocket launcher was out of the rucksack and tucked under his shoulder in seconds. He would enjoy this one even more than Westminster, he thought taking aim. There were scores of his own to settle.

The recoil was sharp in his shoulder but the report was hard to distinguish from the impact explosion. The round hit just below the window, its blast shattering the glass on the floor below. Birtley spun round and dashed for the bike as the first of the alarm bells leapt into action, punctuated here and there by a frenzy of shouting and screaming.

Much more satisfying than Westminster, Birtley thought, tossing the rocket launcher into the gutter and jumping on the back of the bike. He tapped Lenny on the shoulder and they sped off towards Pimlico.
