“I was wondering why all of you were so quiet during dinner?” Victor scratched at his head.

“Despite their generosity, Queen Kali is particular when it comes to certain discussions,” Anima said in a sad tone as she floated.

Szura nodded. “Anima is right. The Queen does have volatile moods.”

The lich woman gave Victor the once over, “We’ve had the dreams. Vala calls to us and we wish to go to her. The sooner, the better.”

“Sounds like all of you weren’t too happy here,” Victor said as the room began to spin slightly.

Vissi moved closer with sad eyes. “We have felt Vala’s light. It makes this place dull and gray compared to the light of love.”

“It was almost like we woke,” Avo began.

“From a bad dream,” Nobo finished.

“You are Vala’s Blade and we wish to leave,” Szura said matter of fact. “I know about the Realm Walking ability Champions have. We should leave tonight after the ritual.”

“What’s the rush? It seems okay here,” Victor said as he tried to get a handle on his senses.

Szura shook her head, “We can talk about it when we are far away from this city. For now, the ritual begs to be completed.”

Victor parted his lips to speak and soon closed them. The haze grew thicker and his gaze drifted to the five women. In unison, they all began to disrobe. Anima floated, her clothes melting away to reveal a ghostly nude body. A translucent form hovered as she looked away shyly. Vissi pulled at her white dress, letting it fall to the floor as alabaster white breasts bounced with a heavy edge. Pink-white nipples pointed and long, luscious legs stepped from the dress pooled at her feet. Avo and Nobo nearly ripped off their small amount of clothes, revealing smooth pale gray skin. Wings flexed as clothes fell away like leaves in autumn. Hairless slits budded between thick gray thighs and tails trembled in subdued excitement.

Szura leaned her staff against a pillar before taking off her hat. Short white hair framed her face as she began to pull off her leather top and then her pants. Small breasts glowed in the lantern light as her thin framed moved with expert ease, glancing to the Blade.

Victor began to undress through the foggy haze. He didn’t remember drinking as much as Lily since he spent the time listening to Anubis. It seemed to hit him harder than he thought. When the room seemed to shift underneath him, strong gray hands caught him.

  “Hold him,” Szura commanded.

Victor’s brow went up when the two gargoyles held him with added strength. Vissi and Anima stood naked behind the lich. Szura stepped closer, her eyes with no hint of emotion until she reached up and touched Victor’s chest, right above his heart. Energy flared and the lich gasped, pulling her hand away like it was burned. Victor wasn’t sure what was happening and was going to apologize when Szura’s blank gaze took on a lustful glow. The difference was stark, turning from cold and emotionless to something hot and burning. Limbs fell into a liquid grace as she moved close again, licking her lips and peering down at Victor’s hardening member.

“Life…can be such an aphrodisiac…here in Normir,” Szura said while failing to hide the hunger in her eyes.

Avo and Nobo’s hands ran along Victor’s strong body. The gargoyles licked and nibbled on his neck, the heat in the room growing with each passing second. Victor simply grinned. If this had been his first time in the realms, he might have been unnerved, but now it seemed standard practice along the crusade. Not wanting to spoil the fun, he simply let them do what they wanted. Shoulder’s relaxing, the nibbles and licks seemed to grow.

Anima floated, her cold hands caressing herself as she watched the gargoyles treat the Champion like fresh meat. Vissi simply stood, dark eyes drinking in the sensual spectacle, a shiver running along her body.

Szura was the one who became unchained, lowering to her knees, eyes drinking in the Blade’s veiny member. “Vala guide me.”

“We will guide each other,” Victor said with a drunken smile.

The Blade’s member bounced and it was soon engulfed. The lich’s small mouth clamped down with firm lips, bliss raging through her cold body. Moans floated up as her head slowly bobbed. The gargoyles giggled as they tasted the Blade. Strange, scents rose up and Victor found it difficult to stay focused.

“I must touch him!” Anima cried out before her ghostly form shot forward and sunk into Victor’s chest.

The Champion’s whole body glowed with power. Eye’s wide, pleasure roared under his skin. Clouds of bliss drifted on the current of his soul as Victor’s body felt crowded. Losing control of his limbs, they moved of their own accord. Arms broke free and hands clamped on Szura’s head. Hips pushed gently, thick inches sinking deeper into Szura’s mouth and throat. Avo and Nobo pressed their warm breasts to the Champion, tails rising and falling with seductive mood.

  “He…he…feels wonderful!” Victor cried out.

“What the hell is happening!” Victor said in his mind.

It seems Anima has taken possession of your body. I think we are going for a ride.

Pleasure swirled like a storm. Victor’s body could not stop, holding Szura and enjoying her lips wrapped around his possessed cock. Victor and Chill eased back in the darkness, a waterfall of pleasure crashing down.

“Is this how it feels to you?” Victor asked the shadow.

  Yep.

“I feel like I should take control.”

Why? They seem like they’re having fun.

Victor thought Chill was not wrong. The eagerness grew as did the tempo. Szura could not stop herself, deep throating the Blade as Anima tried to steer the body toward climax. Wetness dripped from between the lich’s legs as muffled moans vibrated against the thick member. A pressure began to build and Victor’s possessed eyes widened.

“He’s coming! I’m coming!” the ghost cried out.

Inner worlds erupted in magical explosions. Szura’s eyes widened as the meaty cock was half way in her mouth and it bulged. Living life burst forth, striking her wanting throat and was gulped down with passionate desire. The energy from Victor’s orgasm blasted long dead nerves and for a moment, the lich felt alive once again.

Falling away, Szura’s own orgasms fired in rapid succession, nerves firing again. Eyes rolling back into her head, she collapsed onto the thick carpet, body shuddering uncontrollably. Energy snaked up and burst forth, slamming into Victor’s chest.

Anima, in full control of Victor’s body, gasped loudly as the living body shuddered. The urges and bliss were so overpowering, she lost all control. Falling out of the Blade, she sank a few inches into the floor, ghostly gasps rising and falling as her senses reeled from the power.

Victor was back in his body just as he shuddered, a burst of come shooting from the tip of his cock. Vissi was there, falling to her knees, long tongue out. The white seed struck her open tongue and she moaned before her lips wrapped around his cock. Avo moved to Szura and picked her up. Bringing her to the bed, she laid the lich down.

Szura shuddered, her eyes not returning to normal. The gargoyle watched over her while Nobo reached around and took hold of the base of Victor’s cock. Nobo stroked while Vissi suckled. Energy filled the Blade’s member as he allowed the hungry desire to continue its lustful onslaught. Vissi fingered her pink lips, reaching her clit and rubbing it with reckless abandonment. Anima laid on her back, ghostly hands rubbing herself.

Vissi’s moans grew louder before she pulled away and stood up. Victor wasn’t sure what was happening until she floated up, and then curled her legs around his waist. The throbbing head touched her quivering valley before she forced herself on him. Melodic sounds rose up from her throat as hugged the Blade, forcing her body to take his full member. Nobo was closer, one gray hand grabbing Vissi’s plump behind and the other holding Victor.

The Champion was sandwiched between them, bliss binding them together. Vissi’s body was light but she moved with purpose and power. Tears streaked the banshee’s cheeks as a small smile bloomed.
The tempo of her hips increased and Victor held her close. Movement began to slow as Vissi was lost to living sensations. She rode the Champion until the space between them was nothing more than skin to skin. Eyes rolling into her head as her mouth made a perfect oval, she screeched as she and Victor came together.

Victor grunted, but it was lost to a scream. Vissi sang Vala’s name as white-hot seed filled her thin space and leaked out. The two held each before the banshee’s arms and legs began to quiver. Sliding off, she stumbled on shaky legs until she collapsed in the bed.

“My turn,” Nobo growled before picking Victor up and then jumping. The Blade laughed as they soared through the air and landed in the middle of the bed. Avo’s eyes took on hints of anger as Nobo forced the Blade down and took hold of his cock. Victor exhaled as the strong gargoyle sank down on his member. The tightness was too much until Victor exerted his power. Spending a point of Constitution, his cock expanded. Nobo’s aggression turned to bliss and surrender. With Strength still fueling the Champion, he turned his hip and pinned the gargoyle to the bed. Hips worked as his mouth clamped on an exposed nipple. Warmth touched his face as his hips moved in slow motion, torturing the gargoyle. Nobo cried out sweetly, her body betraying her. Hips moved to Victor’s motions and spirals of paradise touched frayed nerves.

“Vala…” Nobo whispered before her whole body shuddered.

Victor smiled before Avo nearly crashed into them. A strong hand pushed, knocking the young man from the trembling gargoyle. Victor landed on his back as Avo was on him.

“No need to romance,” Avo leered.

Victor’s smile grew wider as he grabbed her by the neck and forced her off. Avo hissed in delight as the Blade turned her around and forced her stomach to the bed. Looking back, Avo smiled as Victor grabbed her hips and hoisted up her firm ass. Taking hold of his cock, he speared her opening and giggles turned to heated gasps.

“Plenty of time for romance, later,” Victor smiled before hips thrusted with power.

“Fuck me, Champion! Don’t hold back, punish me with Vala’s love!”

Thrusts grew harder and the gargoyle whined her delight. Eyes turned and watched as the sounds of skin on skin filled the large chamber. Victor continued to punish the gargoyle, hips slamming into her ass as his cock tamed her spirit.

The evening bled on, gasps and screams filling the room in lust. The drunken haze remained as bodies joined and mouths locked. Tongues slathered in wet places as breasts bounced. Tails moved lazily while a ghostly body sank into others and shared orgasms.

The haze reached a tipping point. A dream touched Victor’s addled mind before one by one, they fell into sleep’s embrace. A warm voice caressed the Blade’s heart before he too passed out amid a bed of now warm and wet bodies.

  ***

Cold touched a heart and Victor’s eyes shot open. The young man sat up among a tangle of bodies. Despite the warmth of the fireplaces, a cold seeped into the room. Exhaling, the Blade’s breath turned frosty before dissipating. Throbbing pain pulsed as he pulled from the acolytes and sat on the edge of the bed.

Unsure how much time had passed, the Blade stood up and tried to shake the cobwebs of his mind, which only made it worse. The throbbing continued until he glanced up to see the door to the chamber slightly ajar and a pale face looking in his direction. The flimsy lantern light caused shadows to move and dance as the face backed into the darkened hallway and faded away.

Body already moving, Victor began to pick up his clothes and dress. Once the last boot slid on, he moved to the door and pressed his hand to it as he peered out. The corridor was still, light dancing to lantern flames. Stepping out, he looked to the left and right.

At that moment, there was nothing.

Victor scratched at his head, unsure if he actually saw anything when a door opened not far away. It was to a room he hadn’t explored and a pale face appeared at the door’s edge, eyes filled with sorrow.

“Astor?” Victor said to the woman before she slipped back behind the door.

Victor moved with caution, down the hallway and to the open door. Hand at the ready, he prepared to summon his Elemental Blade if something was going to jump out at him. Stepping into the room, it appeared as your average guest room. Taking another step in, he quickly noticed the bookcase was slightly away from the wall.

Elemental sword sliding from Victor’s wrist and into his waiting hand, he approached slowly, senses dialed to eleven. Left hand up, he took hold of the bookcase and pulled it aside, the heavy shelf moving with ease. Behind it was a long dark tunnel, a woman standing just at the light’s edge.

Eyes adjusting to the dark, the Champion could barely hide his surprise. Astor stood, her gaze connecting to his, but she was different. The longer Victor stared; the more horrific details began to show. Forearms were skeletal, no flesh or muscle on them. The same for her shins. The clothes she wore were drab and muted. Where flesh showed on her upper arms, it looked like rotten flesh. Astor’s thin face was pure white and her long hair framed her face, nearly as white as her skin. The warm blonde hair seemed to drain away to a sickening pale yellow.

“Astor?” Victor said again, unsure what was happening.

“Victor, please follow me,” The decomposed Astor whispered before turning around and walking further down the dark tunnel.

Victor followed, sword still in hand. Despite the darkness of the tunnel, Astor’s pale skin seemed to glow with ethereal light. The sounds of his boots echoed off the walls as they continued on. Spending a point of Wisdom, flames raced up the Elemental blade and bloomed into fire. The light shined, showing decaying tunnel walls and thick layers of dust on the ground.

Astor continued to walk, not looking back.

A creepy feeling crawled along nerves as Victor wondered if he should go back and get Lily and Dawn. The moment passed as he knew if he did that, Astor might be gone.

The haze drifted back into his mind as he kept up. Thoughts warred against his commonsense, feeling the edges of a trap closing in. Since they arrived, everything felt off kilter. The Blade couldn’t put his finger on it and even now, he wasn’t sure why Astor was here and leading him down a dark tunnel. Did her death lead her here? Was she being punished for the life she lived?

A new conviction formed as Victor decided he would help her any way he could. Maybe talk to the King and Queen and see if she can be coaxed to move on? The thought rattled him. Why help her move to her next life? Maybe the King and Queen could allow her to come back? The mere thought of her resurrection caused the young man to pick up the pace. Just as he was about to reach her side, the tunnel opened up into a large cavern, ghostly blue torches dotted the immense chamber.

“Astor, what is this about?” Victor said as he followed her.

Astor moved until the rough stone turned into a stone platform. Runes and symbols were etched into the stonework. They were worn down, giving the entire platform an ancient appearance. The air grew colder, frost breath spilling from Victor’s lips.

“Astor, stop so we can talk,” Victor said and when he blinked, another person was there, sitting on a stone symbol and head bowed.

Victor approached as Astor moved to the figure clothed in a white robe. The person had their back to Victor as Astor knelt down and pressed a white hand to the person’s shoulder. The air sank down as did the temperature. A terrible heaviness dragged Victor down as he took a shaky step forward.

Go back to Lily and Dawn!

Victor ignored the shadow as he stepped closer. A head rose up, long brown hair touching the top of shoulders. Even from what little he saw; Victor could make out the familiar wavy brown hair and thin shoulders. Heart hammering in his chest, his grip slipped and the flaming sword clattered on the rune covered stone floor.

The head turned around and a faint sad smile appeared, “Victor…”

“Mom,” Victor said, his voice cracking.

Astor helped the woman to her feet as Victor stepped closer. The maddening pulse in his
ears turned into a storm. Raising a trembling hand, he stepped closer, wanting nothing more than to touch her.

The woman turned around fully, sorrow and happiness coloring her gaze. “My son…”

The flames from the sword continued to burn, creating a warm light. Victor stepped closer and closer until he stood before his mother. Drinking in her form, she looked just as she did when he was ten, years before her Alzheimer’s began taking her mind. Skin glowed with warmth and her smile grew slightly. Astor stood off to the side, her face and gaze pointing to the floor.

Victor’s outstretched hand coiled back a few inches before his other arm rose up and he rushed her. Hugging his mother, pain and happiness spiraled upwards into a supernatural dance. The Champion was taller than his mother, but Victor felt small in her presence. The woman hugged her son, pressing the side of her head to his chest and a weeping shudder touching her shoulders.

A tear streaked down Victor’s cheek as he held her fiercely. “I’m…so sorry. I’m so sorry I wasn’t strong enough. I’m sorry I couldn’t do more to protect you.”

“Shhh, my son. It’s okay. I saw and felt you do everything you could.”

Victor shook his head, “I should have done more. I couldn’t keep him back. I couldn’t protect you.”

Tears flowed from the woman’s eyes as she buried her face in his chest. “It’s okay. Astor has been taking care of me.”

Victor pulled back, eyes watering, “How? How did you get here? Why are you here?”

“I, don’t know. I was in such terrible darkness and then I was here. Astor told me about you. She told me how you’re a hero. How you’re trying to save these realms. I’m so proud.”

“Mom, I love you so much,” Victor wept as he fell to his knees and hugged her around the waist.

A warm hand touched Victor’s head, “I love you, my beautiful boy.”

Victor held her, never wanting to let go. Warmth and love cascaded over his body as grief and sorrow pulled at his spirit. She had become such a distant stranger in the end, but his love never wavered, even when she passed. It stung with joy and confusion as he resigned himself to never seeing her again.
