Oh my! There were times there when I wondered if Xander and Elaheh would overcome their differences. But it’s often the case that, when someone is overly standoffish, defensive, or aggressive, they’re simply scared. And that was true in Elaheh’s case. Luckily for her, Xander wanted to understand her. And, in so doing, came to love her, and heal her. He also came to understand and recover from the traumatic incident which scarred his own life.

Surrender to the Sheikh was the final book in the Sheikhs of Havilah series, but I have some exciting news! I’m writing a new sheikh series for 2021. It’s involving secrets—a secret revenge, a secret baby, and a secret marriage.

I love secrets—but only in fiction, in real life they’re simply trouble! If people want to tell me a secret, I ask them not to. Because I’m an open book and don’t want to know people’s secrets in case I forget they are secrets and let them slip! But fiction is a different matter.
