“Looks like you already got your kiss in,” she teased.

I didn’t say anything as I cupped the side of her face and kissed her again. I pulled her impossibly closer to my hard—very hard—body and kissed her harder.

She made this soft sound before whispering, “I love this scruff you have going on. It tickles.”

“Will you love it when it’s tickling between your thighs?”

  Cason

If I hadn’t been mated, watching Asher with his mate all but fucking in the darkened corner of the cabin might have pissed me off, because I’d want that for myself.

But then I scanned the room and looked at Mena, loving that I’d found my forever. She was the mother of my babies, my wife, soulmate, the very reason I breathed.

Narrowing my eyes, feeling my bear rise up, I wanted to go to her right now, stake my claim over and over again. She was helping the children decorate the tree, everyone gathered around as my brothers picked up the smaller children and helped them place glass balls on the branches.

I was stalking toward Mena before I even knew it, grabbed her hand and pulled her back. With everyone focused on the tree, I leaned in and kissed her, unable to help myself. I stroked her lips and pushed my tongue inside her mouth, groaning in that gritty, deep way I did when I was with Mena. Hell, I was starting to get a raging hard-on that pressed right against her belly.

I needed to control myself. I couldn’t be with her in the primal way I desired right now.

I kissed her for another long minute, and she melted against me. Damn, she smelled so good, tasted even better. When I pulled away, I groaned in disappointment.

“Eww, so sick,” one of the children yelled out in their little three-year-old voice.

I felt all eyes on us, and then there was a round of laughter. My brothers knew where I was coming from. They were just as insane about their mates as I was.

I reluctantly pulled away and grabbed us two mugs of hot chocolate, walked over to the couch, and set the mugs on the coffee table. Everyone went back to decorating the tree, and I pulled Mena onto my lap once I was seated. With my female on my lap, we both stared at the tree everyone dressed.

“Everyone spoils the kids,” Mena said with happiness in her voice.

  “As it should be, baby.”

“Mm-hm,” Mena hummed, snuggling farther against my chest.

I placed my hand on her belly and she looked over at me. I stared at her intently.

“What if I said I wanted to try for another baby?” I asked softly. I heard her heart beating a little harder. “What’s one more little blessing?”

“You don’t think we’re too old?”

  I scoffed.

“I want our house full of little ones, Mena.”

  She smiled. “Really?”

  I nodded.

She wrapped her arms around my neck.

  “I sure do.” I grinned.

  “Well, okay then, mate.”

I leaned in and kissed her, sealing the deal.

  Damon

I had my arm around Rue, keeping her close, the children running around our feet. I glanced over my shoulder and saw Mena on Cason’s lap. The way they looked at each other told me intimate things were being discussed.

I slipped my hand over Rue’s belly, the little baby bump already starting to show through her shirt. I couldn’t wait until she was big and round, her curves going on for miles.

All of us bear shifters were the same way with our mates. We liked them big and pregnant, carrying our young, children running around our feet, the future right in front of us.

“I can’t wait to see who this little one looks like,” I said softly against her ear.

She reached up and cupped my cheek. “I love you,” she whispered, and I didn’t stop myself from leaning in and kissing her.

“You make me so fucking happy, Rue.” The way I said those words against her mouth was low, soft. “I love you too,” I said softly. “It’ll only ever be you for me.” I pulled back and smiled, my heart racing like it did every time I stared into Rue’s eyes.

Every day, I fall more in love with this female, and that’s how I know this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.
