If I forget the, O Jerusalem, let my right hande be forgotten. If I do not remembre the, let my tongue cleve to the rofe of my mouth: yee yf I preferre not Jerusalem in my myrth. The cawse why that homeward I me draw,

And, as to pourpose like wise it shall fall,
To presse the vertue that it may not rise.
As dronkenes good felloweshippe to call,
The frendly foo with his dowble face
Say he is gentill and courtois therewithall;
