Take Three
Page 29
Everyone around town had gotten word of it, though, and no one seemed to care. Everywhere we went – which included the best ribs in the world, which put the place in L.A. to shame – seemed to be full of people who told us how excited they were to watch our new movie, and who asked for our autograph.
I had never been so happy to be hanging out with my three guys before. I decided to shoot a text to Mallory to let her know how grateful I was for her advice.
I’m so glad I listened to you about this polyamorous relationship thing, I told him. Having three guys to adore me really is the best!
I’m glad you’re having fun, she quickly texted me back. But you know what’s even better? When those three guys adore each other, too! How are things going on that front?
I had shared with her what happened at the after party – as had Naomi, of course – and she was convinced that Monk was going to make sure all the guys could share in the fun. But a couple weeks had passed and nothing like that had happened yet, so I began to think it never would.
I texted her back a “meh” face and a shrug emoji, and decided not to let thoughts about what I wished could be interrupt what was happening in the hear and now. Which, after the boys dropped off my family members back at the ranch, appeared to be a whole lot of hanky panky.
“We made reservations at Bill Pullman’s ranch,” Christian informed me.
“You did?” I asked, gasping. “He keeps that place on pretty tight lockdown. I didn’t know people could make reservations.”
“Well, people can’t, but the son of my dad can,” Zack said, with a smirk. “Bill’s a big fan. He said he hopes we have fun and that his casa is our casa.”
“Nice!”
They really were going all out! When we arrived at the ranch, we took in the gorgeous view, since there was only land and mountains for miles and miles all around us.
And when we got inside, we found there was a full chef’s staff, who had cooked us a big meal. It had been a while since the ribs, so I was ready to eat yet again.
“This is delicious!” I said, spooning out bites of stew faster than I thought I could eat them, as if they might disappear if I didn’t devour them fast enough.
There was steak and bread with huckleberry jam to go along with it, too. And for dessert, flathead cherry pie.
Once we were finally done eating, the boys took my hand and lead me down a long hallway to a large room that had rose petals sprinkled all over it.
“Blythe, you know we all love you, but we want you to know just how much we love you,” Christian said.
“We sure do,” said Zack, and as if on cue, all three men got down on one knee.
They each pulled a ring from their pockets and held them up to me.
When I gathered them, I saw that they could be worn altogether, in an infinity type pattern.
“Will you marry us?” they all asked, smiling up at me.
“Yes! I will!” I exclaimed, jumping up and down.
They all stood up then and took me in their arms. As they carried me over to the bed, Zack cleared his throat.
“There’s something else I wanted to tell you,” he said. “Or rather, all of you.”
The other two looked at him as expectedly as I did. I could tell that this entire trip had been pre-arranged, but this part seemed spontaneous. No one had any idea what he was about to say.
“Monk had proposed the idea of all of us… umm, sharing each other, as well as you,” Zack began, a bit shakily.
I looked at him and tried to keep my mouth from falling open.
This is it! I was thinking.
Not only had they proposed to me, but they were also going to get it on with each other as well as me.
“I was initially opposed to the idea, but now I can see the benefits of sharing everything,” he said, “and I’m willing to give it a try.”
“Great!” I said, and the other two looked happy as well.
Especially Monk. But even Christian seemed satisfied. I couldn’t believe these three had been discussing this without me. But I should have known Zack would be the hold out. And I was just glad he was coming along.
“When do we start?”
“How about right now?” Monk asked, stretching out his neck so that he could kiss Zack.
To my surprise, Zack let their lips meet and then he returned Monk’s gesture with eager kisses. Soon, Christian and I were joining in, the four of us swirling our tongues together while their hands traced my back and ass.
I could already tell that this was going to be everything I had hoped it would be and more.
This was Heaven, right here in Montana.
And I could take it with me back to L.A. and for the rest of our lives.
Chapter Thirty-Four
Zack
I really didn’t know what had come over me. I guess some people might say it was love.
I was so sure I hadn’t wanted any funny stuff to happen between Christian, Monk and me. That I was a lady’s man only.
Yet here I was, kissing them as if they tasted just as good as Blythe did. And in a way, they did.
Sure, nothing could match her familiar, soft, feminine lips but it was exciting to be exploring their new ones.
It even made my cock hard. I think Blythe must have noticed because she reached out and started stroking it. Then she looked deep into my eyes, as her little, soft hand was wrapped around my big, hard cock.
“Are you sure you’re ready to take the leap?” she asked me.
“I’m sure,” I told her.
Then she took my hand and put it on Monk’s cock. He let a little moan escape from his lips right then, and I had to admit it was sexy as hell. Blythe put my other hand on Christian’s dick.
“Wow,” he said, sounding surprised.
“You like that?” Blythe asked him, taking my hand and pumping it up and down on his shaft. “Does it feel good when Zack touches your cock like that?”
“Fuck yeah it does,” Christian said, still as if a little in shock.
Blythe got down on her hands and knees and put my cock in her mouth. Now it was my turn to groan and say, “wow.”
Her lips felt so good on my shaft. It was amazing to have my dick crammed into her mouth, with her sucking on it while I jerked off both Monk and Christian.
“Mmm, yeah, that’s great,” Monk said, and he began to play with Blythe’s hair while she went down on me.
“Let me try,” he told her. “I’ve been dying to.”
“Be my guest,” she said, standing up and letting Monk take her place.
I looked down to see his eyes replace hers, and when he put my cock down his throat, I had to admit that it felt different than anything I had ever experienced. One of his big hands stroked my shaft while the other one played with my balls.
I reached over and started to rub Blythe’s clit while Monk was going down on me. She was moaning and squirming around.
“You’re so wet,” I told her, and she said, “Fuck, watching you play with Christian while Monk is sucking your cock is so hot.”
I pulled her closer to me and started sucking on her hard little clit, feeling my cock start to throb and pulse in Monk’s mouth.
“Oh, my God, Monk, I think you’re going to make me cum,” I told him.
He smiled up at me while he mumbled, “Good.”
Meanwhile I was still jerking Christian off and he reached over to play with Blythe’s nipples. He rubbed them while I was sucking on her clit, and Monk reached up to finger her.
“Mmmmm, mmmmm, wow, I’m cumming,” she said, humping my face, as I felt myself on the edge as well.
“Me too,” I said, and at the same time, I felt cum squirting out of Christian’s cock, all over my hand, while some hit Monk’s face.
“Mmm,” he groaned, as he sucked me dry. “I love it.”
We collapsed on the bed, panting and spent, all of us wrapping our arms around Blythe and then each other.
“That was amazing,” Chr
istian said.
“Yeah, I have to admit I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would,” I confessed.
“You’re welcome,” Monk quipped, with a playful grin.
“Stop,” I said, pretend-punching him in the arm.
“Oh, come on,” he protested. “You never would have thought of that yourself, but you are so glad I made us do it.”
“That’s true,” I said, and Christian smiled in agreement.
“Well, however it came about, I’m just glad it did,” Blythe said. “You guys just totally fulfilled my every fantasy and made me the happiest woman in the world.”
“Mission accomplished, then,” I said, as we all started drifting off into a relaxed and blissful sleep.
Epilogue
Blythe
Six Months Later
I was doing a promotion for the movie on a radio station. It was going pretty well, and the morning crew seemed to be fans of my work, as well as the work of my guys.
We talked about life on the set and they were cool not to come down on me about my relationship. They seemed like an open-minded bunch, although later I found out they worked for the same company that produced my movie, so maybe they had to be nice.
As I sat in the green room signing some paperwork after the show, I ran into Pete. He was doing makeup for the TV show in the next hall.
“Hey, babe, how have you been?” he squealed.
“Pete! Great to see you,” I said. “How’s it going? Working steady?”
“Always,” he said. “This is my day gig when I’m not on a movie set. Come by, hang out any time you want.”
“Oh, I can’t, I have a baby shower to go to today,” I said. “But we should have lunch. I’m taking a few months off.”
“You go, girl,” he laughed. “Wish I could do the same.”
“Here, take my card,” I said, handing it to him. “Call me.”
“Will do. Byesies!”
Pete seemed genuinely surprised when I gave him my card with the info. I guess that’s the way people are in L.A. When you’re actually nice and mean it, it’s kind of a surprise.
After I finished up all the paperwork, Benji, the radio host, walked into the room.
“Hey Blythe, thanks for coming by on the show today,” he said. “I hope the movie does well for you.”
“Its box office is pretty decent,” I said. “And I’m getting offers for more.”
“That’s great. Great,” he said. “You think you’re going to do another movie for Jim?”
“No, I don’t think so,” I said. “Between you and me, there were some tensions on the set that I didn’t appreciate.”
“Really? Now I’ve heard those rumors,” he said. “You’re talking about Jim being grabby on the set with his leading ladies, right?”
“I don’t want to say,” I said. “He’s got a lot of powerful friends. Whatever you repeat, you didn’t hear it from me. But I’m done working for him.”
“Yeah, you’re not the first actress to come on this show and say that afterwards,” he sighed. “Some guys just can’t be touched. Jim’s one of those guys, unfortunately.”
“Anyhow, I’d better leave,” I said. “I got a thing.”
“Can I ask you a personal question?” he said carefully. “This is totally off the record and I’m trying to be as respectful as possible. If you want to tell me it’s none of my business, that’s fine. It’s just personal curiosity on my part. I’m not trying to be rude, okay?”
“Okay,” I said suspiciously.
“How do you manage a relationship with three people?” he said, sounding fascinated. “It just seems like a whole lot. Not that I’m judging, but it just seems— well, I personally, would be overwhelmed with three girlfriends.”
“It’s just like any other relationship, ya know,” I said. “Open communication and honesty. That’s all.”
“I don’t mean to pry,” he said.
“No, no, you’re fine,” I assured him. “Thanks for the interview.”
On my way out of the building, I ran into Hansley on the way in. She was just getting off her phone.
“Holy crap, Blythe!” she greeted me. “Just the person I wanted to talk to. Got a minute?”
“Actually, I’m kind of off to go to a baby shower,” I admitted. “Can this wait?”
“Let me buy you a coffee at Starbucks,” she said. “Five minutes or less. I swear.”
“Mmm, okay,” I agreed.
We went inside, got coffees and sat down.
“You did good, kid,” she said. “You did good. The studio likes you, they like the guys—”
“They didn’t seem to like us when we were in the tabloids,” I pointed out.
“Studios are like that,” she said. “They’re sensitive to the public reactions. But now the public has seemed to accept you. It took a few weeks, but it all died down.”
“Just like Monk kept saying it would,” I added.
“Anyhow, I have a new project on the horizon, and I want you for the lead,” she said. “There’s just one catch…”
“Don’t even say it,” I said.
“Look, I had no choice,” she said. “They won’t green light the movie without a big-name director and they keep picking Jim!”
“I am not working with him again, Hansley,” she said. “After what he did to me, you should be glad I’ve kept quiet this long.”
“I am, I am,” she insisted. “Believe me.”
“Then how can you ask me to work for that creep again?!” I countered. “You want me to put myself in danger? Do you have any idea what the guys would do to him if they found out? Especially Monk!”
“I don’t doubt it,” she empathized.
“No, you don’t get it,” I said. “We were out one night and got teased by a bunch of college guys in a car. Monk and the other guys ripped them out of the car. They were prepared to beat the shit out of them, but I stopped them. All because one of them threw a soda on me. Now imagine if they get wind of what Jim did. They’ll go crazy, Hansley!”
“I get it, believe me---”
“No, you don’t,” I said. “Or else you wouldn’t keep hiring this guy. You see Melissa. You know how he treats her. How can you keep hiring him?!”
“What am I supposed to do, Blythe? Huh! Starve?” she snapped. “You think this is easy? I’m a woman in a man’s world, too! You don’t think I don’t get propositioned? The older some of these studio execs are, the more likely they are to whip it out at a meeting. I had one exec promise me a four-picture deal if I just blew him under his desk once!”
“Holy shit,” I said, shocked.
“Yeah and the sick thing was that I thought about doing it,” she admitted. “I thought really hard about it. But then I said no.”
“I’m sorry you had to go through that,” I said. “I don’t mean to judge you personally, but I won’t let Jim do that to me again. No way. Yes to your projects but no to Jim forever. I will not work with him again.”
“There’s talk of a sequel…”
“Hansley!” I snapped.
“He’d have to be involved, Blythe,” she said. “It was his baby. That’s how this works.”
“No,” I said. “I’m not working with him. They’ll just have to get another director.”
“What if he’s a producer? You wouldn’t have to work with him as director, ever!” she promised.
“Maybe,” I said. “But you’d have to guarantee he wouldn’t come anywhere near me!”
“I swear! I’d have a guy on him at all times,” she swore. “He might have to come to the set once or twice, but I would personally watch him.”
“Maybe,” I said reluctantly. “That’s a very shaky maybe, by the way. Anyhow, I’m still taking time off for a while.”
“Your career’s just getting started,” she said. “This is the time you should be taking new gigs. If not with me, then someone else.”
“I’ll think about it,” I said. “Listen, it’s nice to catc
h up, but I really do have to go.”
“Okay, but Blythe,” she said, as I got up. “Don’t ever change. People in this town, they let it eat them up. But not you. You’re still as nice and as genuine as the day I met you. Keep that. Never let it go.”
“I’ll see you around, Hansley,” I said.
I hopped in my car and drove over to Mallory’s second place. She and the guys had a mansion in the Hills but she kept this one for doing things closer to town. It was about as suburban as Los Angeles gets, which meant it was probably a house that cost close to a million dollars.
Back in Montana, a little place like that wouldn’t even cross the 100K threshold and you’d still have more land. But this was Southern California, where you got free lemon trees and oranges trees with your yard, but also the rats at night that would raid them for the fruit.
I took my gift out of the backseat. God bless the person who invented gift bags. I didn’t think I had actually wrapped a gift in ten years thanks to them. Just a little tissue paper, throw it in the bag and you’re on your way!
Inside, I found some of Mallory’s friends, along with Layla and Harlow. The décor was pink for the party, since Mallory had announced it was a little girl. You couldn’t get any more girly than a baby shower for a girl baby.
Everything was pink, everyone was buying and giving little pink dresses, booties and other baby gear. Pink, pink, pink!
“Hey, guys,” I greeted them. “Sorry I’m late. I ran into so many people on my way out of the radio station. Including my producer.”
“Good to see you, sit down,” offered Mallory. “And drink. Drink for me because I can’t.”
“I’m okay,” I said.
“How are the guys?” asked Layla.
“Good, the new house is almost finished,” I said. “We should be moving in next month. How’s the new roommate search?”
“No one can replace you,” said Harlow, deadpan. “Because you’re so wonderful.”
