“I’ll walk you to your car,” he said.
“Tell Kasey and Natalie I said bye.”
“I will. This was a big deal for them. Natalie wanted to invite some of her friends from college.”
“Maybe next time.”
“Sure.”
“You think they would want to come outside with us?” Janelle said. “I could get my driver to take a picture of us all together.”
“They would love that,” Wahlman said.
And they did.
