S: Have you thought about it thoroughly?

He doesn’t even need to explain what he means. I can remember all too well what he said to me: You need to think this through thoroughly, Nina, and make a conscious decision. When I claim you with my dick, you will be mine forever. Now that I’ve realized I’m a zombie, I can’t think of anything else. I was afraid. I thought he’d be mad at me because of Peter. I thought he’d never want to have anything to do with me again. I thought I had scared him off for good. But now I see that’s not the case at all and my heart starts beating again. It’s beating wildly in my chest and it feels as if new life is pulsing through my veins.

Me: I want you. Only you. Not as a random fling. But as the only one.

S: Room 163. The Hilton in Den Bosch.

Den Bosch? Here? He’s here? I can’t believe it. He’s here in Den Bosch, in Holland! I have to see him. Now! I run out of my room in a rush, across the landing, where I bump into Grandma once again.

  “Where are you going?”

  “To Sebastian!”

“Wearing that?” She smiles at me. What the hell is so funny? But then I look at myself in the mirror hanging to my right and I understand what she means. I’m wearing sweats and a top. My hair is a wild bird’s nest on my head, and don’t get me started on my tomato-red face. I quickly start taking off my sweats and hop back to my room on one leg.

Meanwhile, I’m trying to figure out what to wear. Maybe that tight-fitting purple dress? That might be too much in broad daylight. My gaze falls upon the box that is still sitting at the foot end of my bed and suddenly, a brilliant idea strikes me.

“Grandma!” My stupid sweats won’t come off and stick to my sock. I almost crash into the edge of my desk.

“Yeeeeessss,” she sings, reappearing in my room.

“You will come with me!” I fall to the ground hard now, but I finally managed to get off the sweats and my sock as well.

“Okay!” she agrees cheerfully. Why doesn’t that surprise me. She’s always there for me. I’m happy she wants to come because I want her to drive me to Cowboy. I’m so extremely excited right now that I don’t think it’s safe for me to drive in my condition.

“Do you still have those Halloween masks from last year?”

“Oh, yes I do! Wait, let me get them!” It’s so wonderful I never have to explain anything to her. She already knows what we’re going to do. She’s up for anything, that wonderful woman.

“NICE OUTFIT,” SHE SAYS, while she starts the car.

“Well, Grandma, it’s not nice, but I think he will appreciate it.”

“My dear, even if you would put on a trash bag, you would still look gorgeous.”

“Then why didn’t you tell me to put on something else?” I raise my brow.

“Because I have the feeling you want to make something very special out of this. I think neither of you will ever forget this moment.”

“Your outfit is quite nice too.” I have to yell at her because I switched on Spotify and “Zombie Walk” by King Savage booms out of the speakers of her tiny car. I’m glad this will be a short drive, because I don’t think this little car could handle that heavy bass for very long without falling apart.

“Thank you! What a fitting song!” The look in her eyes tells me she appreciates the music. She doesn’t even ask me to turn the volume down. She already understands what’s next, but I turn the volume down a bit anyway so I can ask her something without yelling.

“Grandma, what’s wrong with you? Is everything okay?”

“Everything is good in my life, honey.”

“Normally, you never answer my questions. What you do do, is answer my questions with another question. That is very tiresome,” I explain.

“My work is done, dear. So, no more need for that psychological riffraff.”

“What do you mean, your work is done?”

“I’m so happy, my sweet Nina, that you have finally entered the land of the living. You have been so lost in your life. All this time, I’ve tried, in the best ways that I could, to make you realize that there is more in life. That you had to seize the day. Remember? I was afraid that you would never snap out of it, but this man seems to have gotten through to you. You seem to know now what you want and you’re going for it. That is everything I’ve ever wanted for you and it makes me very happy.”

From the corner of her eye, she blinks away a tear. Then she grabs my hand and squeezes it softly.

If my life were a highway, I wouldn’t have known how to drive until now.

  SEBASTIAN

There is nothing I can’t accomplish. Nothing. Nada. Niente.

There is nothing I can’t accomplish. Nothing. Nada. Niente.

There is nothing I can’t accomplish. Nothing. Nada. Niente.

I keep repeating this mantra in my head over and over again. In my life, it has helped me through every difficult moment. Now I hope it will help me calm down. But it’s not really working that well.

I am the man with the big dick here! I am in charge!

Normally, I keep myself under control at all times. Especially on the phone, like now. But now ... now I’m furious. I can’t restrain myself. I decided to stay in Holland a little while longer. Longer than planned. Nina is still figuring things out and I have to give her a little more time. I have to give us more time.

“I’m staying in Holland for as long as I want. I haven’t taken a vacation in years, and now I’m just gonna!”

“Sebastian, would you please calm down. I’m just saying that this is not the best time. You know you can’t wait forever for that chick. She’s too dumb to realize what’s good for her.”

“Where do you get the nerve to talk about her like that?” Noa will regret this, I will make sure she does. I sigh a couple of times to calm myself down and continue in an icy, quiet tone. “When I’m back, you and me will have a serious talk, Noa. I decide when we are done with the execution of our plan, not you. And I say we’re not done yet. I will give her a couple of days more and in the meantime, you will make sure that I can take a couple some holiday leave and that any matters that require my urgent attendance are postponed until I return.”

I would have preferred an old-fashioned phone right now, so I could slam the receiver back on the phone base to give myself some satisfaction. Unfortunately, I have to make do with a firm press of the red button.

Since that salsa night, my Stellina has called in sick and despite my many messages, I haven’t heard a single thing from her. They say no news is good news, but I’m afraid that’s not quite true in this case. I’m starting to get very anxious.

She turned out to be a much bigger challenge than I anticipated. What a stubborn girl she is. But she’s worth it. That’s why I sent her that blue tailored suit. I know she loves that thing. She let that slip during the fight about her rearranged work schedule. I’d had hoped the suit, combined with my message, would make her see I’m here for her and that there is part of me that understands why she handled things with Peter the way she did. Noa told me Nina started working again today. So it seems as though she’s getting back to the swing of things, and that’s a good sign. But unfortunately, it’s not the breakthrough I was hoping for.

Then, all of a sudden, she’s sending me texts, telling me she’s the worst zombie ever. It makes my heart beat a little faster. It’s the first time she’s reached out to me since the issue with Peter. Could it be she’s actually choosing me? Us? But after I texted her that I’m staying at the hotel, there was no reply. What the hell is going on with that girl?

After waiting about twenty minutes, I can’t take it anymore. Desperately, I open the tracker app that allows me to see what her current location is. It doesn’t take long for me to find out she’s on the move. Apparently, she’s in a car and heading my way!

I’ve never dressed this quickly in my entire life. I run out of my room, powerwalk through the hallways and, in no time, I’m outside next to the entrance, looking out for her.
The app tells me she’s just around the corner, but I can’t see anything yet.

Then, I hear loud music in the distance, and a heavy bass greets me. In no time, I spot a little yellow Smart car driving up the driveway. What is that hanging out of the window on the passenger’s side? It’s someone in a costume. A zombie in a costume? Is that zombie wearing my blue suit? The driver also is a zombie, but that one is wearing an Adidas training suit? What the hell is this?

“Yeehaw, Cowboy!” That can only be one person. There is only one person in the whole world who would pull a stunt like this in the blink of an eye, without any shame. Only one person who calls me that.

“That’s me!” My face has difficulty containing the biggest smile ever. It must be clown-worthy. But I don’t care. I see her get out of the car and start running towards me. Then I realize I’m standing at the top of the stairs, so I move. It feels like I’m in a movie. By now, there are some people looking at us, and not just because of the loud music. Halfway down the stairs, our bodies bump into each other in a warm hug.

“You’re here!” I hear from behind the zombie mask.

“Yes, I’m here. You’re here too ... but who are you exactly?” I ask mockingly, because she’s still wearing her mask.

“Like you don’t know.” Her sparkling green eyes, visible through the eye slits of the mask, are in heavy contrast with the dark, ugly thing that is too big for her face.

“I have no idea. This happens to me all the time. Beautiful women, dressed like zombies, running at me in expensive tailored suits. I don’t know why.”

“Ha ha, funny. I didn’t know that yet. That you’re funny.” While she says this, she slides the mask up over her forehead, so I can see that pretty little face of hers. I’m in love with that face.

“No, I didn’t know that about myself either. I think that’s your doing. You are a bad influence on me.”

“So, it’s bad being funny?” she asks.

“Did you come here, dressed like that and with all that clamor, to have a discussion with me about whether being funny is a good or a bad thing?” Slowly, I lift the mask off her head because I don’t want any obstructions while I kiss her. I plan to kiss her as hard as I can, and never let her go, ever again. Her watery eyes mirror the happiness in mine.

  Chapter 26 – Sexcapade 2.0

  SEBASTIAN

She’s mine. My conquest. My biggest and my last. Words cannot describe how relieved I am that she came. This can only mean one thing—she’s willing to give us a chance.

I lift her in my arms and move back to the hotel entrance. Her surprised giggle sounds so familiar in my ear. I want to hear it more. That will be my new challenge, to make her smile and giggle as often as I can.

“Oh! We’re forgetting Grandma!” she suddenly realizes, trying to twist her body so she can see her grandma. I turn us around and nod at Corina. With my eyes, I try to tell her how grateful I am for her help. Nina is waving at her cheerfully.

“Thanks, Grandma! I’m staying with Cowboy for a while! I will call you!”

“Bye-bye, sweethearts! Have fun!” Corina turns around and gets back into the car.

“She’s still wearing her mask! I hope the police don’t pull her aside. They might be offended!” She giggles again, pressing her nose against my throat while trying to hold on to my neck with both hands.

I kiss her hair and then carry her up to my hotel room.

“I can walk myself, you know!” She looks at me with those clear green eyes and her smile widens.

“I don’t think you can. I don’t think you will ever be able to walk again, so I will have to carry you everywhere.”

  “Don’t be silly, koekwaus!”

“I’m silly? I’m not the one putting on a show for these hotel guests, dressed in a man’s suit and wearing a zombie mask!”

“Are you saying you didn’t like it?”

“This koekwaus liked it a lot!”

When we arrive at my door, I manage to unlock it with one hand. Still holding her in my arms, I kick open the door and walk in. Quickly, I put her down on the bed and start undressing her.

“Wow, are you in a hurry?”

“I’ve waited for you for weeks, Stellina. No, years. Finally, the waiting is over. Thank you, God!”

“God has nothing to do with it, you know!” The cocky grin she adds to that statement fascinates me.

The shirt she is wearing, my shirt, falls victim to the violence my hands inflict. When I discover she’s completely naked underneath, I lose myself in the sight of her beautiful ivory skin. The combination of the smell of her fruity perfume and the sight of those marvelous round breasts drives me completely crazy.

Her eyes grow wider the moment I pinch both of her nipples. She likes it because she moans, and that confirms everything I assumed—that we are a perfect match. “You know what this means, don’t you? You have thought this through thoroughly, haven’t you? Because the moment I put my dick inside of you, you’re mine.”

She nods, because words are superfluous.

  “Thank you,” I blurt out.

I suck hard on one of the nipples I just pinched. With greedy gulps, I try to get her entire boob in my mouth while I massage her other breast in the same rhythm. Her fingers grip my hair, and pull softly, forcing me to lift my head. Her eyes are full of emotion. I want to swim in those deep pools.

“No, thank you,” she whispers against my lips, kissing me gently on my lips. She keeps hold of my face with both hands. “Thank you for helping my dad and making it possible for our family to move to Holland. Thank you for watching over us all those years. Thank you for your patience and understanding these past few weeks. Thank you for everything.”

To be frank, I don’t want her to thank me. Our first time shouldn’t happen out of some kind of gratefulness. It should be a conscience choice. That she chooses me. Us.

The torn shirt joins the jacket at her feet. Automatically, my mouth travels back to her right boob, planting a little kiss there. My breath makes her nipples perk, preparing them for the attack I’m going to launch on them.

I bite her nipple hard. I need this. To claim her, show her she’s mine. To make her feel who’s the boss. It startles her a bit. It’s not my intention to scare her, so I decide to tone it down a bit. Otherwise, this will be over way too quickly, and I can’t let that happen. To make up for my aggressiveness, I start to draw soft little circles around her nipple with my tongue.

She needs to realize there is nothing to thank me for. “You know you don’t have to do this just to thank me, do you? You don’t need to thank me, Stellina. I’m not a hero. I’m not a good man. Chances are, I don’t even deserve you. I did what I had to do. There was no other way. You touched me in way that I hadn’t anticipated at all. A ten-year-old girl, with Gandhi’s wisdom and Mother Teresa’s tenderness. Cupid only needed to shoot his arrow at me once to hit me. After that, I lived my life as a wounded animal, Stellina.”

She shakes her head, insecure. She doesn’t understand. I pull her into me and her hard nipples prick through my shirt. I breathe in her lovely scent before I continue. She starts giggling and turns her head away from me.

“Why does that make you laugh, sweetheart?” I turn her beautiful face back to me with my index finger.

“You’re such a romantic, Cowboy. I know you’re serious, I realize that, but it just makes me laugh. I’m sorry, but no one has ever compared me to Gandhi or Mother Teresa. I’m not a saint and you know it.”

“Go ahead and laugh. I love seeing you laugh. One day, I’ll explain to you how you saved me without even realizing it. One day, I’ll tell you how you taught me, with all your innocence and faith, to be a better man. One day, I will tell you all of that.”

“I don’t get it. I was only ten. What on earth did I do that has left such a huge impression on you?”

“I was lost. You were my path. I was trapped. You were my freedom.” I realize these cryptic words probably don’t make any sense t
o her. “Before I met you, I lived a meaningless life. I did what I had to do and what was expected from me to survive. I realize now that is what it was. Survival. It wasn’t a living, because I was dead inside. Then I met a beautiful little Italian girl, who managed to brighten my dark world. She was very young and I was too old. But fortunately, I’m getting a second chance with her now.”

“How did I brighten your world? I don’t understand.” The despair in her voice is clear. I don’t want her to despair. I want her to enjoy this moment. This is the moment that will change everything for us. But this is not the moment to explain all the details of my time with her back then. So I decide to take action.

“Take off the rest of your clothes.” I add a strict look to my demand.

  “I’m nervous,” she says sincerely.

“Me too,” I admit, and it puts a little smile on her face. “But you don’t have to be afraid. You are the strongest and bravest person I know, and I will always make sure you feel safe. You mean the world to me. Now, clothes off.”

While she undresses herself, I think about all I want to do to her. I admire her slim but still curvy body. With my eyes, I follow its lines, and I’m certain she feels my gaze on her skin, caressing her softly, causing goose bumps on every inch. I admire the way in which she moves. The way that she looks at me. I’m glad that she takes her time letting me admire the sight of her. When she’s standing in front of me, completely naked, it’s my turn. Now she can watch me, slowly removing my clothes piece by piece, with unrushed, deliberate motions.

Her eyes linger on my hard dick that is pointing proudly upwards. I remain still for a moment to give her a good first impression. If it’s up to me, my dick and her will become very well-acquainted. I surprise her by pushing her back towards the bed, and she doesn’t resist. She crawls onto it and lies down with her back against the headboard, awaiting my instructions.
