Carmedy and Heijing embraced me tightly, and their natural scents comforted me in my moment of need. I made a silent promise to them that I would protect them and care for them for the rest of their lives, Filla included. She may not have been Isolda or one of my minions, but to me, she was still part of this just as much as my women were. She’d been forced into the middle of this by the Holy Order, and now, I needed to take her under my wing.

“How you seen the rest of your sisters?” I asked as I dropped my arms to my sides, and Heijing nodded slowly.

“I saw Annalise going into the fortress with her brothers and a few of the Tamarisch soldiers. They said they were going in to get the hall ready for the feast, and when I went out to get water for the other patients, I saw Rana hanging around with the three gods. They seemed to be enjoying her company, but they also went inside to set up the hall.”

“What about Morrigan?” I questioned, and the Qianlong shook her head as did Carmedy.

“No, she said she was going up to her room to rest.” The alchemist stated.

“The feast should be starting soon,” I said as I looked over the men resting in the few beds. “Why don’t we gather everyone and head inside together?”

“Sounds like a good idea!” Carmedy giggled as she looped her arm through mine and Heijing’s. “Let’s go!”

Finding the others was quite easy like Heijing had said, both Rana and Annalise were inside the grand hall preparing for the feast and right as we entered, Morrigan appeared from one of the adjoining passages. Fea and Macha flapped through the air and then settled down on each of her thin shoulders.

“Put that table over there! Let’s place them in long rows so we can all see each other when we’re eating,” Annalise shouted to Amos and Adam as the two twins lugged around a rugged-looking table. “Oh, hi guys!”

The high queen waved to us excitedly as she crossed the room in long strides. Out of the corner of my eye, I watched as Amos dropped his end of the table, sighed loudly and wiped sweat from his brow. Adam slammed his end down onto the marble floor and threw his hands into the air, exasperated.

“Amos, you can’t just drop your end and leave all the weight to me!” the older twin shouted across the expansive table between them. “I can’t carry it all by myself!”

“I’m tired! Can’t someone else do this?” Amos whined as he fanned himself dramatically.

“Stop complaining, you big baby, and get back to work!” Annalise chuckled as she whipped her head in their direction.

“I’m not a big baby,” Amos grumbled as he grabbed his end of the table and picked it up with the help of his twin.

“Do you need any help?” Carmedy asked happily as she bounced on the balls of her feet.

“No, we’re almost done here actually,” the swordswoman chuckled as she surveyed the room. “That’s the last table that needed to be moved.”

I stepped back and looked over all the work the Decathmor siblings had done with the help of Rana and the other gods. The redhead helped place crude-looking chairs around the tables with Ruituri, and the two women spoke animatedly to each other. The fox’s head fell back with loud laughter as the grey-haired goddess whispered something to her.

Six rows of long tables spanned most of the room where my troops would sit together and enjoy their meal. The tables spanned all the way to the large oak doors that led out into the halls and at the far end of the room, stood another table running adjacent to the others. I recognized the large thrones placed along its lengths from when we attended a feast back on Machstein. They were the thrones the people had made especially for my minions and me, but now, there were two newly made chairs on the ends for Haruhi and Heijing.

Domor and Bellum walked along the rows of tables and chairs with large trays in their hands. Each tray held baskets of steaming baked bread, and they placed them every few paces on the tabletop. Carmedy licked her lips hungrily as she stared down at the baskets filled with baked goods but held her paws stoically behind her back.

The only two people missing from our collective groups were Haruhi and my brother, Malsumis but they filtered in together. My brother and the sage’s heads were inclined to each other as they spoke softly. Haruhi held a small book close to her chest, and once she caught sight of us, she broke away from my brother and rushed over.

“Master!” the librarian cried as she held the book out. “I found the perfect one to give to my father! He’ll be so happy!”

I took the tome from her hands and examined the pristine cover. I flipped through the pages, but they were written in a language I’d never seen before, but the hand-drawn pictures inside were beautiful and bursting with color.

“I’m so glad, my love, I’m sure he’ll be very happy with it.” I grinned as I handed it back.

Behind me, hungry soldiers began to pour in through the wide hall door and find their chairs. It was nearly time for the feast to begin, and I slipped my hands into Annalise’s and Rana’s as I led them toward our table. My women followed after me excitedly as a small door behind the table slammed open and Carmedy’s mother, Vivienne stepped through with a tray piled high with steaming food. More catkins followed after her with more food, others with trays filled with empty cups and bottles of spirits.

“It’s almost time.” Amos snickered to his brother, and Adam stifled a loud bark of a laugh as he nodded in agreement.

“Alright, let’s go get ready.” Adam grinned as he pushed his brother out the door.

“What are you two planning?” Annalise and Ansel asked at the same time, but the twins didn’t answer, only raced off in the opposite direction.

I led each of my women to their chairs then strode over to my enormous, carved throne and stood between it and the table. All of my soldiers found their places and then turned and waited for me to speak. I raised my hands high over my head for silence, and it fell over them heavily. I looked out over the huge mass of them and felt pride swell in my chest.

“Let me be the first to congratulate you on your hard work,” I boomed for all to hear as I turned my head and looked into each face. “Without you and your help, this battle wouldn’t have been won. We stormed Galencia as one army, not six different countries. The men that sit beside you, across from you, all around you are not strangers but instead your brothers-in-arms under my control. We are all family here, and as my women and I take the next step into the heavens, you will stay here and build a new kingdom for all of us. This is a land united, and we will stay that way for the rest of eternity! You are not Tamarisch soldiers, or Tintagal soldiers, or Valasara soldiers, you are all one united under my power!”

“Hear, hear!” Ansel shouted as he rose from his chair and lifted his full cup into the air.

“Our unified forces are the largest army ever seen, and if anyone should stand against us, we will wipe them from existence. We are the strongest force on earth and soon to be in the heavens. Tonight, we celebrate your bravery and courage out on the battlefield. You are the true heroes of this day! Without you, none of this would’ve been accomplished, and for that, I thank you!”

I lifted the filled goblet in front of me to my troops and took a gulp of the scarlet liquid. The troops roared loudly, rising from their chairs and clapping their hands. I grinned and spread my arms wide to them. My soldiers slowly quieted down and sat back in their seats as plates piled high with food were placed in front of them.

Vivienne brought her tray closer and began handing out food to my women and me. My stomach rumbled as I stared down at the metal plate filled with an enormous baked potato split down the middle with melted butter, a golden brown turkey leg and a cutlet of mutton. More plates of food were placed on the table around me, and all the delicious scents wafted over me.

Carmedy was the first to begin eating, though not as violently as she used to. The alchemist lifted her fork, eyed me with a small smile, and raised the tiniest bite to her mouth. The feline’s emerald eyes rolled back in their sockets, and she groaned
audibly as she savored the food.

Rana, Annalise, Heijing, and Haruhi all refused the wine offered to them and their cheeks flushed pink as Vivienne gave them a knowing look. My children rested within their wombs, and they wouldn’t dare harm them with drink during this celebration.

We all dug in, and the sounds of eating and talk filled the room. Each dish I tried was scrumptious, and each time I downed my cup of wine, it was quickly refilled by one of the serving catkins.

Evening settled upon us as we each ate our fill and a light buzz of drunkenness settled over my tired mind. Right as I lifted my cup to my lips again, a small carved door to the left of me slammed open, and Adam pranced in, wearing the black robes of an Elder. The older twin held a wooden lute in his hands and began to strum it excitedly.

Ansel, who was already inebriated, threw back his head and guffawed up at the ceiling. The oldest Decathmor slammed his meaty fists against the table, and soon, other Tamarisch soldiers joined in excitedly.

“Quiet now, quiet now!” Adam shouted to the crowd as he lifted his free hand and the lute into the air. “Let me sing you a song to soothe your souls and tingle your ears!”

The fists pounding the tables stopped and hung in the air as the oldest twin brought down the lute and began to strum it softly.

“I dreamed a dream the other night,” Adam’s voice lifted into the air and again, Ansel roared with laughter as he sang along with the familiar song.

“Lowlands, lowlands away!” Ansel boomed in his deep voice, and the soldiers near him joined in.

“My love, she came, all dressed in white,” Adam sang even louder as he dropped his hands from the lute and gestured toward the still-open door.

It was my turn to throw back my head and laugh as Amos flounced in wearing the signature Holy Order robes. The younger twin held the fabric out from his body in both hands femininely as he smiled to the crowd.

“I dreamed my love came to me in my sleep,” Adam sang in a sorrowful voice, and Ansel threw his hands into the air with a roar.

“Enough with the slow songs!” Ansel shouted. “We are here to celebrate, not cry! This is a party! Not a funeral!”

The oldest Decathmor rose from his chair and waved his hands for his brothers to stop. The twins stared at him in shock as Ansel lifted his cup, drank sloppily from it, and then took the lute from Adam’s hand. My eyes widened as the oldest Decathmor played a fast and skillful song as his oaky voice lifted into the air.

“Oh, whiskey is the life of man! Whiskey from an old tin can!” Ansel sang as he stepped up onto his empty chair.

“Whiskey-o, Johnny-o. Rise her up from down below. Whiskey, whiskey, whiskey-o!” The Tamarisch soldiers joined in as they slammed their full cups together and threw them back.

Slowly, the other soldiers began to join in, standing from their chairs and swinging their cups along to the beat.

“Up aloft this yard must go! John, rise her up from down below!” Carmedy clapped from beside me and soon, all of my women joined in.

Ansel took one sure step onto the table still filled with plates and food and began to dance a complicated jig. The oldest Decathmor’s hands strummed the lute madly as he twirled and sang out even louder.

“Now whiskey made me pawn me clothes!” Ansel shouted as he gestured to his fine Tamarisch armor. “And whiskey gave me a broken nose!”

Ansel tapped his nose and then laughed loudly as Amos mimed slugging Adam across the face. The older twin lurched back and dramatically fell to the floor as he held his face. Both of them cackled loudly as all of my soldiers began to sing the chorus again.

“Whiskey-o, Johnny-o. Rise her up from down below. Whiskey, whiskey, whiskey-o! Up aloft this yard must go! John, rise her up from down below!” We all sang as we lifted our spilling cups to our lips and drank heartily.

“I thought I heard the old man say ‘I treat me men decently! Give them whiskey twice a day!’“ Ansel shouted as he strode down the table laden with food and drink and kicked a few out of his way. “A glass of whiskey all around! And a bottle full for the shanty man!”

Ansel’s fingers were a blur over the lute’s strings, and as the song finished, he threw the instrument into the air and jumped from the end of the table. The audience watching went wild and slammed their hands together in applause. Loud hoots and hollers sprung from different tables, and Ansel came to stand in front of them, taking low bows after his performance.

I laughed loudly, clapping along with them as Amos took the lute from Adam’s hands and began another song, sending my men into a flurry of dancing and singing.

“Sally Brown, she’s the girl for me, boys!” Adam shouted for all to hear as he high-stepped across the room.

“Roll boys, roll boys, roll!” the armies answered back in song.

“Oh, way down South, way down South, boys!” the oldest twin smiled as he beat his fingers against the wood of the lute. “Oh, bound away, with a bone in her mouth, boys!”

This was how the night went, full of food, drink, and good company. We filled our bellies and drank until there was no more. As the night dragged on, my women stood from their chairs and pulled me out onto the floor. We danced together with our friends surrounding us and with each new song, our spirits were bolstered even more. We stayed like this until the candles around us burned down, and most of my soldiers passed out at the tables with drinks still in their hands.

Tomorrow, we would travel to the heavens and fight the largest battle we’d had yet but tonight, we would enjoy ourselves. I saw different sides of each of my women as they danced and played around me. Heijing opened up even more and seemed to blossom from the jovial atmosphere. She intertwined her hands with Morrigan’s and danced around me as her light laughter reached the ceiling.

I was so happy at this moment, and that is how I wanted to stay. Once I was lord and king over everything, this was how every night would be. The rest of my life would be a celebration, surrounded by my joyous women and the offspring I’d placed within them so carefully. The future I dreamed of for so long was at my fingertips, and all I had to do was step forward and take it.

  Chapter Fourteen

I found my way back to the room I’d chosen to stay in while we stayed within the Holy Order’s fortress and as I fell drunkenly into the lush blankets, two silhouettes appeared in the open doorway. My eyes focused in on them, and both Carmedy and Morrigan leaned against the wooden supports as they looked at me with heated eyes. I sensed the desire within them as both of my women entered into the dim room.

In the time between leaving the banquet hall and finding my room, the two women had changed into silky looking robes tied around their slim waists. The draping fabric reminded me vaguely of Heijing’s outfit, and I sat up in the cushy bed as they came closer.

“You have been keeping something from us, Master,” Morrigan whispered as she floated closer, her delicate, pale hands working at the knot of fabric around her middle.

The wrap loosened and widened, giving me a view of her large, voluptuous breasts as her hardened nipples rubbed against the red robe.

“We feel left out now,” Carmedy purred as she came around the bed and crawled over its soft surface. “We know you had to keep it a secret, but now we’re here for our prizes.”

“Are you now?” I smirked back as I slowly peeled my armor away from my body and felt my member harden within my leather pants. “How did you find out about this big secret, my loves?”

“My powers are stronger, Master,” Morrigan whispered as she let the red robe drop to the floor and revealed her naked body to me. “I sensed the change within the others. At first, it was simply a soft spark of god’s magic, but as time passed on, it knew it couldn’t simply be a power transfer from you. It was a holy child conceived from your seed, and now we’ve come for ours too.”

“How did you know, Carmedy?” I chuckled as the feline untied her own robe and tossed it away from the bed as she pawed at me excitedly.

  “Unlike Mor
rigan, I don’t have any magical powers to detect a change within their bodies,” the alchemist murmured into my ear as her paw wandered down between my legs. “But when all of them declined wine at the party tonight, I knew something was up. Rana never turns her nose up at alcohol, and it immediately made me suspicious. I asked them about it, but all of them made excuses. We’ve been together for a long time, Master, I can tell when my sisters are lying straight to my face.”

“Ah, I see,” I grinned as I leaned my head back and stifled a groan as Carmedy’s paw found my erect member. “Now it’s your turn?”

“Yes, Master,” the elven woman smiled as she crawled up the bed between my legs and hovered over my penis. “Now it’s our turn, we don’t mind if we have to share.”

“No, we’re sisters after all, and we’ve shared you this entire time, why not do the same here too?” Carmedy smiled as her paw stroked me faster.

I brought a closed fist to my lips and groaned into it as Morrigan lowered herself over my throbbing member and took it into her mouth. I had never made love to two of my minions at the same time, and this certainly would be a new experience for the three of us, not that I was opposed to it. I loved my minions deeply, and I knew that they cared for and loved each other just as much as I did.

My hand snaked its way into the elven woman’s white hair and guided her mouth slowly. I leaned my head back against the pillows as I groaned, and Carmedy’s mouth found mine. My free hand went to the feline’s breast and squeezed it hard. Their bodies were wrapped around me in this small den of pleasure, and their natural scents were intoxicating as they wafted over me.

Morrigan’s tongue stroked my penis as she moved even faster, and I groaned loudly as I suppressed the orgasm rising to the surface. I hadn’t even started pleasuring them, so I couldn’t let myself peak just yet. Right as I felt like I couldn’t stand it anymore, Morrigan pulled away from me, precum dripping from the corner of her mouth as she smiled down at me.
