Evil is... (Once a Demon Book 2)

Rather than fight it, she decided to let go of her previous plans, trying to be better than she was and to simply relax a bit. To become what she was supposed to be. A person that was just a little bit darker than humanity thought was exactly proper, who could help those around her if she wanted to, without idiotic demon rules getting in the way.

It wasn’t perfect as plans went, but it didn’t have to be.

After all, she was fine with being evil. As long as it didn’t get in the way of the kind things she wanted to do in life.

Thinking that, she took Ravi by the hand and moved both of them back to her place for the night. Possibly their place, if he wanted to give that a try. She had the room at her house.

  In her heart as well.

Still, she wasn’t stupid, so knew better than to make the offer that night. Soon though, if he wanted to give it a try. Even if it didn’t work out forever, she could see the value in taking what was offered in the moment, even if that wasn’t what a good person would do in the same case.

In that moment, walking as she formed a rift in the closet in front of her, she honestly didn’t care about that. It would have to be enough to be herself.

Which was always going to be true, regardless of what else she did or wanted.

So, smiling, Ravi directly behind her, she left.
