Slip Up (Taking Chances Book 3)

“Including a pretty pink dress with matching pink shoes.” He bites his lip failing at containing his tease.
I pop a kiss to his mouth and push out of the bed. He rolls to his back, tossing his arm behind his head. He roams my body with an appreciative yet perverted smirk. “I do believe I find you more stunning today than I did at our real wedding.”
Our wedding was small but perfect. We got married at Momma and Dad’s church. Declan was in a white button-down with a light gray vest and a tie with matching slacks. Milo was in a suit a shade darker. Kirsten was in a beautiful pastel pink dress that flowed to her heels, and I got to watch Declan light up when he saw me in a white sheath with a plunging neckline and open back. The way he looked at me that day, with so much pride and love, made my heart explode with a newfound love.
I shove my tongue in my cheek, playfully narrowing my eyes at him. “Really?”
He snatches me by the waist and brings me to his lap. “Yes really. You’re sexy as hell carrying our daughter.” He places a chaste kiss to my lips. “And yes, sexier than the time you became my wife again.”
“You’re smooth with your words, Mr. Palmer.”
“I mean them. You’re pretty lucky to have me.” His grin meets his beaming eyes. “I love you so much.”
“I love you, too.”
Our start may have been unconventional, but our trials early on only brought us closer. Declan has been the best chance I’ve ever taken, and I regret nothing of it. My love for him is incredible. Our love for each other grows daily, deeper, and stronger. He is everything I could ever ask for. And he owns every inch of my heart.

This was a fun series to write. Nathan, Cody, and Declan took up a lot of space in my mind.
Angela: The words “Thank You” are never enough. I can’t put into words just how much I appreciate you. Not only are you my boss lady (haha!), but you’re also part of my family. Love you, Hooker.
Fran & Megan: I adore you both so very much. Thank you for pushing me to produce my best. I wholeheartedly appreciate your support, both professionally and personally. Your friendship means so much to me.
Carla: I love your daily randomness, rants, and laughs. You are my favorite pain in the ass and I absolutely love that you’re in my life.
To all the bloggers: Thank you for all the hard word you do to support me. Without you working so diligently and promoting us, our “babies” wouldn’t be loved nearly enough. You are rock stars!
To my Bangers: From the daily laughs, vents, hotties, and absolute randomness, thank you for being a part of my life.
I’m positive I’ve missed someone. It’s inevitable. If I did, I apologize. It’s Angela’s fault. She’s making me work hard today.
