“Natalie, can you just wait a second.” He finally called out as she stopped walking.
“Listen we really have nothing to say to one another ok.” She said seriously as she shook her head and refused to look at him.
“So. then that is it, huh?” He said as he ran his hand through his hair.
“What do you want me to say Aidan?” She spun and faced him now.
“I don’t know ok. Just something. Anything. You just took off.” He said as he stood across from her.
“Yeah well life isn’t fair.” She said sarcastically as she walked to the door and his hand came onto it before she opened it and she sighed. “Listen I’m not.” She turned to face him but the second she did he kissed her. It caught her by surprise and then her back was against the door as he leaned into her and kissed her harder. She hated that she fell into the kiss. She gave up no fight at all, instead she fell into the kiss. Her hands found their way into his long locks of hair and she deepened the kiss.
He pulled his mouth from hers and kept his hands on either side of her as he leaned against the door. “I shouldn’t have.” He began to say but she pulled his mouth to hers and their lips collided once more. She didn’t want to talk, she just wanted to feel his body against hers. She wanted to get lost in it again.
His hands found their way to her shirt as he tugged on it with an urgency. He pulled it up over her head as their kiss broke for a moment and then he was removing his shirt as their mouths collided once more. Their hands quickly began to pull on each other’s jeans as they kicked them off along with his boxers and her panties. He lifted her as he kept her back pressed into the wall and his tongue against hers. He entered her body quickly as his size filled her until she was crying against his mouth in pleasure. She had missed his body. No one quite had his body. She found her release almost immediately as he moved in and out of her. He took total control of her body as she cried out again and again. His mouth pulled from hers as his fangs descended painfully and she moved her neck as an invitation for him that he greedily accepted.
His fangs pierced her neck and she held onto him tighter as another orgasm rocked her body. She felt his release come as he groaned against her flesh.
He pulled his mouth from her neck and she looked at him with sated eyes and then she was passing out from the excitement.
Natalie stared over the edge again and she wiped her eyes as blood smeared on her hand. She wiped it angrily on her jeans as she stood there.
“I remember last time we were up here.” Aidan said as she jumped and spun around.
“What are you doing here?” She gasped.
“The same thing as you I suppose, reminiscing.” He said nonchalantly.
“Well you shouldn’t be here.” She said as she went to walk past him, but he reached out and grabbed her hand as she passed. “Please don’t Aidan. I cant be here with you.” She hated how her emotions got the best of her and tears streamed down her face, but she didn’t look at him.
“The only place you belong is with me Natalie. I am so god damn sorry for what I did.” He said seriously.
“Yeah well I am married now. I’m different and I shouldn’t be here with you.” She said with a shake of her head as she turned around and looked at him.
“It doesn’t have to be different Natalie.” He said as he reached out and touched her cheek. “God, I have missed you.” He said as he closed in the distance between them and his lips crashed into hers. The feeling was out of this world and she could barely concentrate as the kiss deepened. Soon her back was against the wall as he pressed his body against hers. They kissed hungrily, and the sound of her phone vibrating broke the kiss.
Natalie stared at him in shock as her phone continued to vibrate and then within seconds she was running out of there at warped speed. Aidan stood there, and he ran his hand over his face. He wouldn’t lose her again. He would make sure of it.
Natalie got across town in the matter of seconds and she found herself standing in a nearby park as tears fell down her face. How could she allow herself to kiss him? She was married to Demetri now and she couldn’t just walk away from that. She cared about Demetri too much to do that, but did she love him? She wasn’t sure. The buzzing on her phone made her jump as she pulled it out of her pocket. There was twenty missed calls from Demetri and a whole lot of text messages. He was worried about her and looking for her.
She couldn’t contain her tears as she began to cry against her hands. A gust of wind alerted her as she looked up and saw a very worried Demetri standing there.
“Natalie! I was so worried. I couldn’t find ye and yer scent was everywhere.” He said as he got in front of her and she continued to cry as he put his arms around her tight. “ Lass tis ok.” He said softly, and she cried.
They got back to the hotel as Demetri looked at Natalie with concern. “We can go tonight if ye want.” He said as she shook her head.
“I’m not quite ready to leave just yet.” Natalie said honestly. “When you came into town and visited with my Uncle. What did he have to tell you?” She asked softly.
“Lass I told ye it dinna matter. I came ta be with ye.” He said with a soft smile.
“But he did want to talk to you about something, didn’t he?” She said with confusion.
“I dinna know why ye are so worried about what we talked about Lass. Twas nothing. “ He said softly as he reached for her and she backed up now. She couldn’t shake what Aidan said to her and she wanted to know what conversation Demetri had had with her Uncle.
“Did he or did he not talk to you about Aidan?” She finally asked, and he blinked in shock at her. “I need to know.”
“Ye ask about him? Why? I told ye that he is trying ta mess with ye head.” Demetri said quickly.
“Your not answering my question, Demetri. Did my Uncle come to you with information about Aidan, yes or no?” She raised her voice now.
“I dinna like ye tone with me!” He yelled back at her. We should have never come back here. Were leaving tonight.” He snapped at her.
“What? No. I asked you a question. Your not just going to demand shit of me Demetri!” She yelled, and he got in her face.
“I wilna let me wife talk ta me with such disrespect. Ye wilna do it again.” He said angrily.
“You knew didn’t you. Its written all over your face. He told you and you. You. My god what have I done.” Natalie said in shock as Demetri came up to her.
“He dinna love ye. He dinna deserve ye. I made ye happy. He left ye!” He yelled at her.
“He had no choice and you knew that! How could you lie to me like that!” She snapped at him as she backed up. “I want you out of the room.” She said as anger built up in her.
“Natalie, ye dinna know what ye are doing.” He began ,and she shook her head.
“I know exactly what I am doing, and I want you out!” She yelled.
“No. I wilna leave.” He said as he walked over to her and she ran at warp speed past him. She could hear him yelling at her.
Natalie kept moving until she felt like she would fall off the face of the earth. She ended up at the one place she wasn’t sure she should be at. It was outside Aidan’s place, but she didn’t knock on the door. She just stood there, too scared to do anything else. The door opened as she stood there. Blood stained tears down her as Aidan looked at her.
“I um.” She said with tears as she looked at him and he pulled her inside and before she uttered another word he kissed her hard and fast as her back went against the wall. He pushed his body into hers as they kissed almost frenzied like. Feeling his body as a vampire was sensation overload. Soon their clothes were being tossed left and right as they spun around the living room only to end up on the couch.
Aidan pulled his mouth back from hers as he hovered over her naked body. “You are so beautiful Natalie.” He said as he brushed hair out of her face and he entered her slowly as she arched her back and cried out. Her fangs descend almost immediately as he sunk deep
inside of her and then she was looking at him. His fangs were descended too, and he moved his mouth close to hers. He licked against her lips as her tongue came out to meet his. He teased her with his tongue. His eyes smoldering with desire as he began to thrust into her wildly. She cried out in pleasure as he entered her over and over again before he leaned down and bit into her neck for a moment only to pull back.
She grabbed onto his long hair and bit into his neck as he groaned. Her body milking his as their release came hard and fast.
After an hour they laid on the living-room floor naked as she laid on her back and he rested his head on her stomach. He looked up at her and smiled. “I missed you.” He said softly.
“I missed you.” She said honestly as he moved up her body so that he was right next to her. He brushed her hair out of her face.
“I love you Natalie.” He said honestly.
“I love you, Aidan.” She said as their lips touched in a soft kiss.
Meanwhile outside of Aidan’s apartment was a fuming mad Demetri. He watched them as they kissed and rolled on the floor naked. He absolutely saw red as he took off. He would make her pay. He would make them both pay!
Chapter Ten
Natalie and Aidan got dressed after hours of love making. Aidan took her hand in his and looked at her ring. “He isn’t going to give up on you.” He finally said as he looked at Natalie.
“I don’t want to talk about him. As far as I am concerned Demetri can go to hell.” She said as she took the ring off.
“He is your maker.” Aidan said with a shake of his head. “I don’t want to lose you again.” He said honestly as he stood in front of her.
“He may have made me but that’s all if will ever be. “ She said seriously.
“It’s not that easy. He needs to release you otherwise he will always have a pull on you.” He said with a sigh.
“Fine then I will make him release me.” She said quickly.
“I don’t think you get it Natalie. He isn’t going to give up without a fight. I saw the look in his eye.” He said as he brushed a piece of hair behind her ear.
“Yeah well he doesn’t know who he messed with. I don’t like being taken advantage of.” She said honestly as anger began to build in her.
“He is much older than you Natalie. Don’t under estimate a pissed off vampire.” Aidan said seriously.
“I’m not scared of him Aidan.” She began as he pulled her close.
“I wont let him hurt you.” He said seriously. “You know, that right?”
“You know I am fully capable of helping myself now. I’m very strong.” Natalie smirked.
“Of course, you are sweetheart.” He leaned in and kissed her softly but then pulled back. “We have company.” He said as a gust of wind blew in the air and Sam stood in front of them.
“Jesus thank god Natalie. I have been looking everywhere for you.” Sam said with relief as he hugged his sister quick.
“I’m ok Sam, what’s wrong?” Natalie began as he sighed and looked at her.
“Well I suppose the both of you have a right to know. “Sam said with worry. “Don’t freak out but Eve is missing, and no one has seen her since this morning.”
“What?” Natalie and Aidan said in unison.
“Missing? Sam what the hell do you mean, missing?” Natalie said in shock.
“Tell us from the beginning. What happened?” Aidan asked with concern.
“Well I was over at HQ and Dante came by looking for her. He said that he had been messaging her and that she hasn’t responded. She didn’t arrive at HQ this morning either but that’s not the worst of it and now that I see you two are here together it makes more sense.” Sam began to ramble.
“Damn it Sam, spit it out!” Natalie was losing her patience.
“Her place was trashed ok and when I went over there with Dante it had Demetri’s scent all over it.” Sam said with a shake of his head.
“Son of a bitch!” Aidan snapped.
“What do you mean his scent was all over it!” Natalie said with shock.
“Would he go after Eve? Did you two have a fight or something?” Sam asked.
“Whether they fought or not has nothing to do with if it was ok for him to grab Eve! ”Aidan snapped angrily.
“He wouldn’t hurt her.” Natalie said with a shake of her head. “Would he?”
“Were not going to sit here and find out, that’s for sure.” Aidan said as they all went to the door and then quickly they took off for the hotel that Demetri was staying in.
They got to the hotel in seconds and Natalie put her hand on Aidan’s chest. “Let me take care of this ok.” She said quickly. She didn’t want this to escalate any further.
“No way! If he grabbed Eve, then he is out of his mind and I am not going to have him do anything to you.” Aidan said protectively.
“Listen if he loves me then he wont hurt me ok. Trust me Aidan. Just let me talk to him.” Natalie said seriously.
“You know she is right. If he see’s you then he will for sure lose his shit.” Sam said to Aidan who huffed.
“This is a bad idea. If he does anything to you.” He said with worry.
“He is not going to do anything. Its not like he can force me to love him Aidan. I love you, that’s not changing.” She said seriously as he nodded his head.
“Ok. But if he starts to cause problems I will go in there.” Aidan said seriously, and Natalie nodded her head.
“It will be fine.” She said as she walked into the building and quickly went up to their room. She could hear music playing loud and then she heard Eve cry out as Natalie burst into the room fast. Eve was tied to a chair and Demetri tore his fangs from her neck as he glared at Natalie before smiling.
“Good ta see ye have come ta join me my sweet wife.” He said sarcastically.
“Demetri what are you doing? Don’t do this.” Natalie said quickly as he wiped his mouth and Eve began to go in and out of consciousness.
“Or what? Ye will fuck Aidan again? What exactly will ye do wife?” He said angrily.
“Listen, you may hate me, but you can’t take it out on Eve. She hasn’t done anything wrong.” Natalie said quickly.
“Tell me, what does he have that I dinna have?” He asked angrily as he got in front of her quickly. “Or maybe ye just like ta be disrespected. Does that turn ye on?” He said angrily and then he slapped her in the face hard as she stumbled back from the force. Within seconds Aidan was running into the room with Sam but Demetri had grabbed her from behind hard. “Dinna come a step further Aidan, or I will tear her head right off!” Demetri warned him as he held onto Natalie tight. She couldn’t move at all.
“Demetri you don’t have to do this.” Natalie began as Aidan and Sam looked on.
“Don’t be stupid Demetri. If you hurt, her I will tear you to pieces with my own hands.” Aidan warned.
“Dinna speak ta me like that. Ye have no idea who ye are messing with!” Demetri warned and then his mouth got close to Natalie’s ear as he spoke. “And ye. Ye disappoint me wife. I canna allow ye ta continue with this anymore. Ye are MINE!” He snapped at her. Aidan moved closer and growled deep. “Ye want ta test me Aidan?” He said before he yanked Natalie’s head roughly to the side and she let out a yell. “Ye stay away. Ye stay away from me wife!” He yelled and then he was moving at warp speed out of the hotel as he held onto Natalie and she screamed as they moved incredibly fast.
Aidan and Sam ran after them but as soon as they got to the border of the state, the ankle monitor set off a loud sound before it began to burn into his skin and he fell forward as Sam stopped. “Jesus what is happening to you?” Sam said in shock.
“It’s this god damn ankle monitor. Apparently its rigged to stop me from going far.” Aidan quickly moved back as the sound stopped and the burning ceased. “Fuck! This is bullshit!” He yelled as he grabbed at the monitor, but it wouldn’t budge.
“You cant risk it. I will go after them.” Sam said quickly as
he took off.
“God damn it!” Aidan yelled in frustration and then he tried to go over the border again, but the pain stopped him, and he quickly moved back onto the border as he yelled out in anger. He couldn’t let Demetri get away with this. There had to be a way to fix this! His mind went to her Eve who was still tied to the chair at the hotel. He quickly ran off to help Eve and find a way to get to Natalie.
Natalie screamed out until Demetri finally stopped running as they crashed into a wall. He broke contact with her as she fell to the ground. She tried to get her baring’s as she stood up quickly, but Demetri was right in front of her again. He pushed her back into the wall and his mouth collided with hers in an angry bruising type of kiss, but she pushed him hard on his chest as the kiss was broken. “Don’t touch me!” She yelled at him angrily.
“Dinna touch ye? Ye are me wife. Ye will respect me!” He yelled at her as his fist came flying next to her face and slammed into the wall next to it.
Natalie gasped at his behavior. He was insane with rage. “Ok, I’m sorry.” She said quickly. She knew that the only way she could get away from him was to play along. She wondered if this is how Aidan had felt with Caitlin.
“Dinna toy with me wife. Ye will learn ta obey me.” He said angrily as he grabbed her arm and tossed her into a room as the door slammed and she got up fast. Running over to the door she grabbed the handle and then screamed as it burned her hand. She looked at her hand as she watched the skin smoke.
“What the hell?” She said in shock and confusion. She grabbed the handle again and screamed out in pain again as her hand burned. She yanked it back and it continued to smoke. She looked around the room. It was a bedroom, but it was pretty plain. It had a bed and one dresser. She saw the window across the room and she ran to it. She pulled the window open and she immediately saw bars, she grabbed them with both hands and it burned her as she cried out. Pulling her hands back as they shook. She saw smoke coming off both hands. What the hell was happening? Why did that metal burn her hands. She gasped finally when she realized what it was. It was silver, and vampires couldn’t touch silver. It could actually kill them in large doses. The military was actually trying to work on silver bullets that couldn’t be removed from vampire bodies.
