Over the years, I have found that various proofreaders catch different things. That is why I have an entire team of proofers, including Aimee Haire, Dan Hilton, and Marta Rubin. They each give so much of their time, energy, and ability that I am in awe of them.
One last thank you goes to Michal Karcz, who designed the cover for this book and each of the books in this series. I found Michal through a friend, who sent me a note saying, “Check out this artwork.” As I flipped through Michal’s designs, I was completely blown away. I saw so much of my story in his amazing images. One of my happiest days on this project was when Michal agreed to create the covers for me. Typically, a cover designer might make many different possibilities before you come upon the proper design. With Michal, I only have to say “Yes,” as soon as he sends me something. I have been blessed to work with an artist of his creativity and vision.
One last thing. If you’re a new reader to my work, you might like another series I have written. It is another series of time travel stories, though quite different than this one. It is a twelve-book series called The Middle Falls Time Travel Series. The central idea of the series is, What would it be like if you died, then woke up again, earlier in your life, with all memories intact?
So far, I’ve found twelve different ways to look at that question and readers keep asking for more, so I will likely return to that series after I finish chronicling Alex’s adventures in Kragdon-ah. I’ll put a link to them right after this.
