Heirly Ever After

Page 22

by Vernon, Magan

The Vernon family has taken me in from the moment I met my husband. This year was especially difficult when we lost the patriarch, Dodo (aka my husband’s grandpa). In the midst of a pandemic the ninety-three-year-old lost his battle with kidney failure. He was so much of an inspiration in my life and for these books and I’m so glad I get to share a little bit of him with everyone who is picking up these stories.

  About the Author

Magan Vernon has been living off of reader tears since she wrote her first short story in 2004. She now spends her time killing off fictional characters, pretending to plot while she really just watches Netflix, and she tries to do this all while her two young children run amok around her Texas ranch.   A Royal Disaster

a Royally Engaged novel by Jennifer Bonds

Elena Murphy is doing just fine—if you don’t count her struggling art studio, her ex-boyfriend suing her, and accidentally tossing purple paint onto the World’s Most Eligible Bachelor, who also happens to be freaking royalty. Now she’s getting dragged online. So His Royal Hotness decides the best way to fix the mess is to make her the envy of New York—by pretending to date. Because what’s worse than dreamy nights at the theater and a nearly X-rated pottery date with a prince? Reminding herself it’s all fake.

  Royal Bastard

an Instantly Royal novel by Avery Flynn

Brooke Chapman-Powell takes her position as the Earl of Englefield’s personal secretary very seriously. This job keeps her sister in her university for the deaf and the town from completely shutting down. But the earl’s dying, and they have only one hope. An American. From some place called Salvation, Virginia. Now she’ll have to teach the in-all-likelihood-uncouth-and-lazy half American how to be a proper earl if they hope to save the village. God help them all.

  Tempting the Prince

a Sexy Misadventures of Royals novel by Christi Barth

Four months ago, we found out my sister, Kelsey, is a princess. She begged me to come along when she moved to her new palace, so here I am, an outsider who doesn’t fit in. I should not stay in a country where I got shot (long story), where I accidentally murdered the symbol of the monarchy in front of half the country (oops), and—oh yeah—where I can’t stop ogling Kelsey’s actual brother. The man I can absolutely never be with, yet who just gave me the best sex of my life. The Crown Prince.

  The Royal Bodyguard

  a novel by Lindsay Emory

When Princess Caroline eloped with a race car driver, she forfeited her royal title and family. Now a widow and exiled, Caroline works as a journalist, writing under a pen name. When she catches sight of her sister’s ex-fiancé—who is supposed to be dead—she’s found the scoop of the century. But Caroline’s plans to uncover his deception are foiled by the arrival of Hugh Konnor, her former bodyguard and her first—unrequited—love.
