His other career as a distinguished and internationally recognized expert in nuclear counterterrorism has informed the characters in his mystery novels and is specifically captured in the character of Darren Priest, the protagonist in this new novel, based in large part on direct experiences of Mr. Rosano.
Mr. Rosano’s history book, Wine Heritage: The Story of Italian American Vintners chronicles the influence that Italians and Italian-Americans have had on the growth and evolution of the American wine industry. His other mystery novels include A Death in Tuscany, The Secret of Altamura: Nazi Crimes, Italian Treasure, and Hunting Truffles.
Writing novellas under the pseudonym of D.P. Rosano, he has also produced highly acclaimed fiction such as A Love Lost in Positano, Vivaldi’s Girls, and To Rome, With Love.
