Broken Scars

by J. M. Walker

  “Now.”

He shoved forward, thrusting every inch of him inside of me.

I cried out, my back bowing off the bed.

“Fuck me,” he growled, sinking his teeth into the side of my neck.

“God, you’re so big.” I gasped for breath. I knew he had been big just from giving him a blow job, but this was different. I had never felt so damn full in my life.

“Shit, baby. I…” His cock swelled. “I’m sorry. I wasn’t expecting you to be so tight.”

“Please, Lucas,” I panted. “I need you to move.”

He leaned his forehead against mine. “I’ve never felt something so perfect.” He gripped my inner thighs, spreading me wide for him and began to move. Thrusting slow and deep, he pushed that pleasure rushing through me into an explosion I had never felt before. He reached that part of me that had never been reached. No matter how many guys I had been with, they couldn’t hit it but Lucas? He reached it and made it his. He fucking owned it.

“Your pussy is so damn tight.” He cupped my throat, staring down at me. “You’re not a virgin, are you?”

I barked a laugh. “No. I’ve just never been with someone as big as you.”

A cocky grin spread on his lips. “You say the sweetest things.” He linked his fingers with mine, kissing my knuckles and holding my hands on either side of my head.

I was powerless. Completely and utterly his. With my legs wrapped around his hips and his hands holding mine in a tight grip, all I could do was take what he had to give me.

“So fucking beautiful,” he murmured, kissing the side of my neck.

My breath came out in short bursts of air. “Harder,” I whispered.

  He lifted his head.

“Please, Lucas.” I moaned when he pushed forward. “I’m not fragile.”

He released my hands, gripped my thighs, and held them down as he powered into me with so much strength, I broke. And I broke fucking hard.

My body was pulled tight. My wrists and ankles were strapped, and I was spread apart until my muscles bunched.

“Watch,” a man said, crouching behind me. “Do you see her?”

I stared up at the ceiling, breathing through the pain coursing through my body. I was naked. Sore. And used. So fucking used up, no wonder the fight was no longer in me.

“I said, watch.” The man grabbed my head, lifted it, and forced me to watch the horror before me.

Mel was bent over a bench, her head and hands locked in a wooden contraption. Her cheeks were mottled red, her eyes swollen from tears. I had told her not to cry. I had told her that they only liked it when we showed them how much we hurt. How much we ached. How much we suffered.

She was the one who warned me first, but she didn’t listen to her own words.

“Mel.” I shook my head. “Stop. Use me. Let her go. Please let her go.”

“Why?” the man behind me asked, brushing his fingers down my cheek. “Are you wanting her for yourself? Is that it, Lucas? I know you like that rose perfume she uses. That’s why we got you that oil. So every time, it reminds you of her. She is a pretty little thing though. Isn’t she?”

I struggled against my binds. “Use me. Fucking use me!”

But they never did. I pinched the bridge of my nose, warding off the impending headache that was trying so damn hard to take control.

A warm body shifted beside me.

A heavy weight lifted off of my shoulders when I remembered where I was and that I was no longer stuck in that basement. I was out of that hell.

While Lily slept beside me, I couldn’t help but watch her. Her back rose and fell with each breath she took. The scent of sex permeated through the air. It was bliss. Pure fucking bliss. It had been something I had never felt before. Even after all of the women I had been with, I usually kicked them out after, but the thought never even crossed my mind when it came to Lily. I didn’t know why but something about her latched on to my heart and made it hers.

When she told me she trusted me and that I could trust her in return, it sealed the deal for me.

And when she had pleaded for me to go harder, I did but not as hard as I wanted to. I had to rein in that beast, keep him in check before he devoured every inch of her.

  “Lucas?”

My gaze shot to hers. She was sitting up, staring down at me.

  “Everything okay?”

“You think something’s wrong?” I asked. How could she even know?

  She nodded.

“Why?” I grabbed her hand, pulling her into my arms.

She curled around me, brushing a thumb over my nipple. “I don’t know. Just a feeling I guess.”

Interesting. “I’m not sure if anything is wrong exactly.” Could I tell her I had another nightmare? “I’m just not used to this,” I said instead. It was safer that way.

“Neither am I. I usually leave after.” Her cheeks reddened. “Not that I have a lot of one-night stands or anything.”

She wouldn’t have them again. Not as long as she was with me. Where that thought came from, was beyond me. I cleared my throat. “It’s still early.”

  “Okay.” She yawned.

I brushed her hair out of her eyes. She was beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking. And I was the one who put that glow in her cheeks. After I fucked her, I let her be, even though I wanted to keep going for the rest of the night. But I wasn’t sure if she could handle me yet.

Resting her cheek on my chest, she let out a heavy sigh.

I ran my hand up and down her back, reveling in the feel of her in my arms and just held on.

  Lily

MY BODY STIRRED. IT had been a few hours since Lucas brought me back to his place. Memories of the night before rushed into my mind. Passion. Ecstasy. And the best damn orgasms I ever had.

Even if nothing came of this, I would forever be grateful to Lucas for showing me what it was like to have a man between my legs who wasn’t selfish.

Turning over in bed, I found the spot empty beside me. Sitting up, I ran a hand through my knotted hair before pulling the elastic off my wrist and the mess into a bun on top of my head.

Looking around me, I let out a soft sigh. Our clothes were thrown on the floor, but I was still in my shirt. Lucas hadn’t questioned why and thank goodness for that. I knew he had scars of his own and that he wasn’t ready to share his story yet, but neither was I.

The door to the room suddenly opened, revealing Lucas. He was dressed in gray sweatpants and a black hoodie. He was holding a tray with two cups and a brown paper bag.

“I have coffee and bagels.” He kicked the door closed and came toward me.

My body heated. God, he was beautiful. In a lethal, scary kind of way.

“What?” he asked, tilting his head.

“Just checking you out,” I told him.

He chuckled, leaned over, and kissed the top of my head.

I smiled up at him. “How did you sleep?” I asked, bringing the blankets up and around my lap.

“Best sleep I’ve ever had.” He sat beside me, handing me a cup of coffee.

“Same here.” I took a sip of the coffee and let out a heavy sigh.

Lucas grinned. “I’ve never met someone who loves coffee as much as I do.”

“I prefer this over anything. If I could live off of it, I would.” I laughed. “It’s also safer than other stuff.”

He only smirked. Reaching into the bag, he pulled out a wrapped package and handed it to me. “I wasn’t sure what you like on your bagel, so I got one with just butter on it and another one with plain cream cheese.”

  “I’ll take either. Thank you.”

  He nodded, handing me one.

I unwrapped it. It was the one with cream cheese and it tasted like heaven.

We ate in a comfortable silence. When we were done, Lucas grabbed the garbage and rose from the bed.

“I guess I should go,” I said, glancing at the clock. It was pushing
nine in the morning. I had to be at work for one. Not that I wanted to leave Lucas’s company anytime soon, but I also didn’t want to overstay my welcome.

I stood from the bed which earned me a soft growl. My neck heated. I forgot I was only wearing my shirt.

  “Lily.”

Not meeting his gaze, I picked up my jeans and panties.

  “Look at me.”

“I should go,” I repeated, ignoring him.

“Lily.” Lucas grabbed my hand, pulling me to my feet. He lifted my shirt. “Remember what we said. Trust me.”

  I met his gaze then.

His gaze dropped to my waist. “Your scars.”

“Are horrible,” I added, pushing away from him. I had forgotten about them which was a first for me.

“Your scars are beautiful,” Lucas said, running his big hand over the scarred flesh of my abdomen.

I wasn’t completely scarred but it was just enough that I always kept the lights off when I slept with someone. Until Lucas.

“They mean you’re a survivor, Lily.”

  I pushed my shirt down.

  “Take it off.”

  I frowned. “Why?”

“Because I want to see you.”

“Right.” I scoffed. “Are you going to show me yours then, Lucas? You told me that I can trust you. Well you can do the same but I don’t see you standing there, naked.” I raised an eyebrow when he didn’t respond. “Didn’t think so.” I reached for my clothes again when a hoodie fell on the floor in front of me. It was soon followed by pants. I looked up at him, my eyes widening at what stood before me.

Lucas was naked. Completely and utterly naked. He took off his eye patch, throwing it on the floor as well. “Happy?”

I slowly rose to my full height, taking in every inch of his naked body. His flaccid cock jumped under my scrutiny and that was when I noticed the tattoo. All of the tattoos. I knew his torso had been inked but I didn’t realize that most of his legs were and also his… “I…you’re tattooed. Everywhere.” A red octopus sat on his hip, one of its tentacles reaching the tip of his dick.

  He turned around.

“Definitely everywhere.” Even his ass was covered. I reached out to touch him but thought better of it and pulled my hand back. He was covered in ink. From black and white to color, the intricate designs covered most of his body. But what I also saw, were scars. Ripped and jagged, it looked like he had been whipped. “What happened?”

He turned back around. “Take it off,” he said instead of answering my question.

I swallowed hard at the rough demand and pulled the shirt up and over my head before letting it drop to the floor at my feet.

Lucas closed the distance between us, brushing his thumb over my nipple.

I shivered at the soft contact. My scars covered my left side. They went from my hip to just beneath my breast and the side of my stomach. “Would you ever tattoo me?”

“If that’s what you want,” he said, his voice low. He ran his hands down the scars on the side of my body.

“I think the skin might be too thin,” I said, placing my hands on his broad chest.

“Maybe.” He licked his lips, staring down at me.

“Will you tell me what happened? I don’t need to know now but in time?” I asked, tilting my head back.

Instead of answering, he bent at the waist and placed a soft peck on my mouth.

That was all the answer I needed.

I was surprised I had shown her my tattoos and scars. Although she had seen most of them the night before, I hadn’t revealed all of them to her until this morning. I even took off my eye patch. What the hell was wrong with me? I had never done that for anyone but her. Ever.

After Lily and I had bared all to each other, we took a shower, but we didn’t have sex again. As much as I wanted to, something held me back. And she didn’t press for more either. I had a feeling that we were too emotionally stripped. Maybe in time, sex would help us through it.

Even though both of us said that we could trust each other, we were still holding back. But we would work through it because there was no way in hell that this was even remotely close to being over.

Once we were finished our shower, I drove Lily home. We spent the car ride in silence. She wasn’t like most women I had been with who demanded for me to talk when I didn’t want to. Something told me that Lily was just as guarded as I was, and I was determined to crack through her walls.

“I want to see you again,” Lily said when I pulled into the driveway of her grandmother’s place.

“I want to see you again too,” I told her.

“Good.” She gave me a soft smile. “Last night…”

I cupped her cheek, placing a soft peck on her mouth. “Was fucking incredible. You are incredible, Lily Pad.”

“Thank you,” she murmured, kissed my cheek, and slid from my car. “You better call me, Lucas. I know where you live.”

I chuckled. “See you later, Lily.”

She grinned, shutting the door behind her, and ran up to the small house. She turned, gave me a wave, and disappeared into her home.

Blowing out a slow breath, I pulled out of the driveway as a black SUV drove away. I frowned, remembering that FBI agent Lily had been having problems with. I made a mental note to check him out and ask her more about him.

Pushing that thought to the back of my mind, I drove home. As I was making my way to the tattoo shop, I saw Lena standing at the door. She waved.

I turned on the Open sign and unlocked the door. “Hey. Do we have an appointment today that I forgot about?”

“No.” She shook her head, pushing past me.

“What’s wrong?” I asked, heading behind the counter.

She started pacing back and forth, rubbing the back of her neck.

“Lena, what gives?” I leaned against the back counter, crossing my arms under my chest.

“I know you can get information.” She stopped pacing. “I need you to look something up for me.”

“What are you wanting looked up?” I had known her for quite a while, but I didn’t research information for just anyone. She and I were friends and I knew she wouldn’t go to the authorities on me, but she was also a flight risk.

“My daughter’s father.” Lena began pacing again. “He has a bunch of shit on me, but I need to have something on him. He wants my parents to keep custody of her. It’ll help me when I fight. Please, Lucas. I need to win this fight. I need her in my life. She’s the only thing keeping me sober.” She came toward me. “Please.”

“Don’t you have the cops looking into this?” It wasn’t that I didn’t want to help her. I was retired, and I had to keep my nose clean for fear that I would end up back in jail. I didn’t need to go through that shit again.

“Yes, but they’re taking for-fucking-ever.” Lena rested her hands on top of the counter between us. “I can pay you. Not in money but in anything else.” Her dark eyes raked over me.

My jaw clenched. “I think you should leave.”

“What?” She laughed. “Are you serious right now?”

“Did I stutter, Lena? We’re not having this conversation again. So if that’s all you stopped by for, you should leave. Now.”

“Lucas.” She shook her head, her cheeks reddening. “I need help.”

“Not like that you don’t. Have a little respect for yourself.” I pushed away from the counter as my first client of the day came into the shop. “I have work to do.” Ignoring her, I greeted my client and set up the tattooing station. The sound of the bell chiming above the door grated on my nerves. While discussing the tattoo with my customer, I couldn’t help but think about Lena and her desperation for information. All she had to do was ask. She didn’t have to pay me. Especially not with her body. Although years ago, I probably would have taken it as payment, but it was no longer my thing. And definitely not now after spending the night before with Lily.

  The rest of
the afternoon went by rather quickly. I had several clients booked for the day. Some with difficult pieces and some with easy ones but no matter what tattoo I was working on, it made the time move fast.

Once all of my appointments were done, I closed up shop and walked the few blocks to the local community center. It had been a routine for the past several years. Tattoo. Eat. Sleep. Meeting. Same shit, different day. And now Lily. Sweet delicious Lily. My body stirred, my thoughts traveling back to the night before. With her snug pussy wrapped around my cock, she was perfect. Everything I needed. And I couldn’t wait for more.

  (Lily)

Stepping into the community center, I was greeted by the delicious scent of coffee and cookies. The church was still being renovated and the meetings would be here, now shared with the Narcotics Anonymous group. Since Toby was also a recovering drug addict, it all made sense. I liked this center and what they were known for. In the winter, it was opened up to the homeless, trying to take as many people off of the streets as possible.

  “Lily.”

I turned and was greeted by Toby. “Hey. How’s Sandra feeling?”

“Good.” He smiled. “She’s here tonight.” He looked around him. “Somewhere anyway.”

I laughed. “It’s weird being here and not at the church.”

“I know but the church will be fixed up in a few months and we’ll be back there in no time. We have some people in the area helping. They get a free meal out of it and also get paid as well. They’re hoping it’ll help get some of the homeless off the streets.”

“I love that idea.” I had recognized some of the people. A lot had come from the church, but some decided to attend meetings at other places instead of going to this one.

“You should come over for dinner sometime soon,” Toby suggested.

“I would love—” The hairs on the back of my neck tingled. I looked over my shoulder, finding… “Lucas,” I whispered.

He was standing with Sandra. They were talking quietly amongst themselves, but I couldn’t help but notice how good he looked. Although I had seen him earlier that morning, he still sent butterflies rushing through my belly. But I wondered what he was doing there.
