Forgotten Alpha

  As Reuben continues hugging me he whispers into my ear a love growl “Don’t care if I am his ALPHA but can I be your mate?” and licks it. His moist tongue sends a tingling shiver through me, seen in my tomato red facial reaction. Leaning my head back I respond to him “always”. With affirmation, Alejandro says”forever.”

  The next thing Rueben does freaks me out. Reuben pulls out my chair, picks me up seats himself first then puts me in his lap. I turn beet RED like a tomato AGAIN! jumping up. Randall and Carmen laugh out HYSTERICAL “YUP !! JUST LIKE WE KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!!”. Reuben turns with a devilish grin “Alejandro you know it’s natural for mated Wulves to be very affectionate and open about it. It’s in our nature”. Looking at him beady-eyed I tell him “Listen, I am not a fem gay, I’m just gay.” But inside, having done that, I felt like shit for jumping up and return sitting back down on his lap. Confusion on his face, Reuben settles me on his lap saying “ok sorry.”

  Carmen snickered and turned to Randall with her remark “I bet you 30 minutes” to which Randall said “Naw bitch try 20 min RIGHT after breakfast!” snapping his fingers. They both look at us, back at each other, nod their heads and say “DEAL!” shaking hands. they explode laughing. look to both asking, “Ok what so amusing and what is that 20 -30 about HEFFAS?”

  Instead, I hear a low chuckle from my mate and I look with a questioning face at him. Only to catch him also turning red. Not able to help himself, Reuben, shielding his face in my chest. He looks up at me throwing his hands up with the look of “Ahhh, umm, I,”. Leaning into my ear he says, still chuckling “Glad to see your happy lover” kissing me on the cheek, his left hand reaches down and flips over the dangling cloth to flip my bathrobe over my exposed hardening cock pushing up through the bathrobe.

  “Oh SHIT!!” I bounced up spinning around giving them my back to cover myself. All four laugh. Carmen’s gripping her stomach, Bella’s giggling, Reuben is chuckling as he got up, turns facing me opening his bathrobe wide to shelter me from view, wrapping me in his powerful arms saying “Thank you for showing me, I influence you amor, as you influence me the same way.”Feeling his hardening member press against my lower back through the bathrobe.

  Alejandro was so embarrassed, I struggled not to laugh watching my mate blush and turn red. But being his destined mate, I and I alone smell the scent he is releasing at this moment, so tempting as it rushes to my senses. To see his member hardening causes mine to do the same. He’s so arousing. Yet, his brother Randall’s continued sarcasm was getting on my fucking nerves.

  Reuben laughs, drawing me into a bear hug with a huge smile. He now rocks us kissing my neck saying “I love you, Alejandro, you know that right? Because I will never let you forget it” Before my heart was jittery, now it sounds like a jackhammer, I was in paradise at both those words and his strong embrace. For the first time in my life, I could not control my emotions. The overwhelming sensations I felt with him. I never felt in my life with anyone and somehow sensed, I never will either.

  Securing my bathrobe, I turn around and face him “After all this time waiting, you fucking better!” Reuben responds by touching our foreheads. Causing reassurance to course through me. Another reaction I don’t remember having. “Ah hem” we hear behind us. It’s Randall. “You lovebirds want breakfast, or do I give my gurl Bella a case of da shits from all dis food?” We smile at him sitting back down to have breakfast. After serving us, Randall began a small interrogation session. “Soooo, How was your night?” to which Carmen cut him off before he got underway with his inquiry “He doesn’t remember.”

  I turned my head, finding her stoic gaze “No I don’t.” Grinning though I say “BUT MAMITA I love how I woke UP!” looking sideways at Reuben who now is Grinning wide at everyone a plastered smile as he nibbles on a piece of bacon eyeing another piece. Then with his eyes only, Reuben looks at me using eyeball gestures to it, opening his mouth going Ahhh.

  I pick up the bacon and placed it in his mouth and say “big baby” he grins a big kid grin chewing. Carmen and Randall just snicker as if they were watching adults being affectionate for the first time. Randall says grinning as he now turns his attention to the plates “My little sista grew up. hope to sleep tonight Alpha!”.

  Reuben’s disposition, without warning changes. I could feel his immediate hostility in waves. The tension in his body causes me to turn to Reuben. His face had gone tense, his lips curved tight, angry eyes are turning Forest green…. towards my brother. Reaching to cup his cheek, I touch his face “He is joking pa, that’s Randall”. Placing my hand on his face, turning his gaze towards me. It does the trick. He closes his eyelids feeling my hands on his skin relaxing into the touch. Then he mumbles “He will take getting used to huh?” adopting a deep powerful voice as his eyelids open again looking towards me.

  I respond with a peck kiss, my voice pitching higher “YUP!” I pull back getting ready to get up. He growls a little not wanting to let me go. I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck again whispering “But Carmen is awesome.” He raises an eyebrow questioning “Is she like him?” I smirk “HELL NO!”After breakfast, I go help Randall with the plates. Carmen asks Reuben to accompany her for a moment to “talk” as she’s heading outside to let Bella out.

  The Seer asks me to join her outside. I growl low, hating to leave my destined discovered mate. But I respect and follow the Seer. We walk over to the tree fell down by the lightning that faced out to the lake. Carmen sat down looking across the lake as if lost in memory “Reuben you’re an Alpha which says a lot, But Alejandro is special. He is my rock and my ‘cub’ if you will. After my mother passed and my daughter disappeared. Alejandro became an origin of strength for me. A light for my darkness when I needed reminding of who I was. While he is not our ALPHA. I will die protecting him or kill anyone who threatens him.” Carmen’s eyes lock with mine “or hurts him”. Carmen’s intent doubled with a ferocity of tangerine burning orbs appear “So, you know, I am not scared to kill or bury ANYONE in spells who hurt him”. The words are barren of feeling. She made her point.

  Point made clear, I look out across the lake taking in what she said. This seer will not hesitate to confront me. an ALPHA to protect ANY harm from any harm to befall whom she loves most. My Mate. I think back to Crimsons words “Their devotion is from the heart to him and his mother Alpha Cary. They will die for him. In case you have not noticed they love him.” The full realization sinking in. They would stand by him till death out of love, not obedience. She warrants my respect. I turn to Carmen “I would not hope it to be any other way, Carmen. After searching for my mate so many long years. I was not ready to share him with anyone. But I will learn.”

  Seeing how much they love him. For him, they are challenging me. In Carmen, I saw a sister’s/ mother’s love. Her eyes and voice show fierce intensity, In Randall the same fierceness. From the little I have learned. I know Alejandro’s own, matches their strong love and would be just as ferocious protecting them. For the rest of our conversation, Carmen tells the depth of my mate’s amnesia, his character, all he has done since before and after amnesia. The more I listened of my mates past the more my conviction roots itself. I will never leave him without me. Looking at Carmen I nod my understanding.

  A few minutes later they came back inside. Where before my Reuben was affectionate. Now he’s borderline obsessive clingy which oddly, I did not mind. I look at Carmen saying, “what the hell did you say to him “To which Reuben respond’s “Just how amazing you are, who you are mate” I say “reeeeally?” he replies “yup” his only response as he hugs me again kissing the neck spot he declared his. Carmen laughs “I promise I did not tell him how you like your coffee” we laugh. “With your arrival, I would advise him to go with you and take that opportu…..” I jump up “SHIT! That’s right!” Shifting away from Reuben for a second to stand up. He stays with me, re-hugging me from behind “Sounds like a perfect plan. Ready to go amor?”.

  Randall, ahead of me as always, hands me a backp
ack saying “GURL, what will you do without MEEEE” I laughed saying “and DAT’S WHY YOU DA BOMB CELI!!” we both laugh as he tells me what’s inside and why. I turn to my mate grinning giving him an eye wink “I am now” Answering his willingness, Reuben takes my hand in his and heads for the door. We were out. But Randall calls out “Gurl ya ass so fast ta leave ya don’t know what in the backpack. DAMN honey!”

  While Randall talks to my mate. I hear Carmen wulf speak with me “They BOTH take getting used to. Their brotherly love for one another is complete devotion Alpha. It is how my Alpha raised them. Don’t worry about Randall, I will SMACK HIM FOR YOU!!” I laugh “CARMEN YOU WILL BE SMACKING THE SHIT OUTTA HIM A LOT!” her response “NO PROBLEM! I do it Anyhow!” we chuckle. Alejandro turns around looking at me, an inquiry on his face. My cue to leave.

  -SPIRITS-

  We were walking through the woods getting about five yards past the barrier when a scent causes me to stop short “Alejandro are you expecting someone else?”. He tells me “no why”. “We are being Followed” I phased in a wisp of smoke. In a moment the sweats Randall gave me rip, tattering to fragments. Crimson stood now, turned around between Alejandro. Forest green eyes glare, searching for whatever threat was naive enough to follow us. whoever had a death wish is about to meet their maker. I stepped up beside Crimson placing my hand on him. His wulf speak held dominating power “Get behind me Mulatto “. He was radiating pure force. I found it unnerving but I did as told. From behind a wide tree, an older woman steps out.

  Seeing her, Crimson relaxed, for just a moment. “Adelphi,” He says phasing back into his human form. Watching him do so, Gotta admit that phasing shit is still fascinating. Even more so now because it’s my mate. Squatting down on the ground, I slip the knapsack from my shoulder and open it. I take out the sweat clothes Randall packed for Reuben handing them to him. Wondering “how’d Randall know Reuben size?” as Reuben gets behind me to cover himself.

  Yet his eyes remained locked on Adelphi never taking his focus off her. In under a minute, Reuben dressed and I saw my answer. Randall didn’t determine his size. He winged it. The sweat clothes were big in the sweat pants but tight on the sweatshirt around his shoulders and arms. Reuben corrected the difficulty by ripping the sleeves off and fastening the pants.

  After getting dressed, in a flash, he was standing between me and ADELPHI. “How long ago did you die Adelphi?” Reuben asked without sentiment yet I felt. Something deadly in his question. Then it hits me

  Wait? what? Am I looking at a soul? Without looking back at me, Reuben says “Amor sniff the air. She has no scent” Sniffing the air I am surprised. Because we were standing downwind from ADELPHI, I should have been able to scent her. But I can’t. Reuben’s focus is on Adelphi. She responds. Her eyes turn, the delicate nature by which she looks at me. Does she know me? Is she from my ‘pack’?

  Gazing on Alejandro I smile during my response “13 years ago”. Knowing, to protect his mate, the alpha will kill me without a second thought.

  I continue “How can you do this?” Alejandro walks around to my front turning his head and sees my eyes. They glow deep Forest green. I see a shudder ran down his back. Placing my right arm on Alejandro’s shoulder, I assure him by bringing him closer to my side. Not once do I take my eyes off her, “You know what I am capable of Adelphi.” My voice ominous with power devoid of emotion except for the sudden growl coming forth. “SPEAK”

  I can see my smile warms Alejandro. Turning his gaze from his powerful mate meeting my own. “Your happiness warms me, Alejandro. May the goddess bless you both.” Alejandro’s searching gaze of “Do I know you?” will soon be cleared up. Shifting my gaze onto his mate, the Alpha “Alpha do you remember my request when you first saw me?” His face holds it’s stare. Then becomes one of acceptance, he remembers.

  Turning my head to look at Alejandro my eyes no longer glow. The tone in my voice changes towards Adelphi “Yes”. I know why she is here. I could see he knew the pain of my words on him “I am sorry my love but there’s something we must do first before we find your pools.”

  Without knowing why, or even fighting it, I trust Reuben. “ok” with a small smirk. Reuben takes my hand showing me back on the path to the home. As I allow him to lead me I tell him “But ya might want to fill me in and tell me who she is?” Reuben said nothing except “Adelphi wants to see Carmen” Except for Reuben holding my hand. Our walk back to the house was hushed.

  As we approach the barrier Adelphi stops. Reuben approaches the barrier and the spheres move aside, clearing a passage for him. I didn’t even look at them until now. I see Reuben look towards Adelphi saying “I would be honored” but there was something about how he said it I found cold as I watch Adelphi enter. Stealing a glance at her I saw it. When my gaze returns to Reuben I see it. He’s containing himself. As if furious about something. Something that involves ADELPHI. Reuben then speaks, bringing me out of my thoughts.

  “Call to Carmen Mulatto” And I call her. the approaching closeness of Carmen’s voice let me know her distance to the screen door. She is close. “Back already? What happened? I was making lunch I figured.......” the screen door opens wide as Carmen steps out and comes down the two steps of the porch to us. That is all she does. Adelphi, who was behind Reuben comes out from behind him. Carmen’s hand freeze their purification on the cloth she was carrying. Her voice a murmur passes her lips “mom??” then drops to her knees.

  “CARMEN!” I run to her, clutching her in my arms “CARMEN! CARMEN!!” In a second, a lightning bolt races colliding with the top of the barrier deflected to the lake. At my sudden shout, Randall phases and Coco comes barreling from around back jumping, landing in front of us snarling as he faces Reuben “Alejandro! CARMEN!! What’s wrong!” Reuben’s eyes transform from emerald to Forest Green as he takes a step towards me. In second Coco’s eyes locked on him “Don’t move Alpha!” his teeth clicking, eyes pressed against his skull. “I will not warn you again!” growling.

  “HE’S MY MATE, Randall!! I AM THE ONE WHO WILL WARN YOU ONCE! MOVE!!” The ground becomes hot beneath our feet. Reuben’s eyes turn Dark Forest Green. A powerful explosion comes from behind me as the door explodes outwards, frame and all. A White ghostly mystic luminescent wulf joins the deadlock, side by side to Randall. A furious voice shouts “YOU DEAF Mutha Fucka DON’T MOVE!”

  Bella snarls in her mystic form. Reuben’s eyes blaze with more intensity. In an instant, I hear his clothes ripping behind a reddish mist. CRIMSON stands phased hackles raised, snarling. His gaze directed to reaching me, He issues the only warning to the pair, a growl. Only death will stop him. Stiff legged, he advances towards me. Slow, fixated, the leaves beneath him release smoke whips then becoming hot ember as his eyes turn, latching onto what is between us. Randall & Bella

  Carmen, was in shock but snapping, directing me on the battle unfolding before her and looks towards me. My head already turned to see the battle about to happen. But I remain transfixed forgetting to move “stop them he will kill them!” Releasing her, in one gesture I jump, landing between them. “STOP!” A huge lightning bolt SMASHES through the Barrier and hits me, immersing me in its power. Crimson, Coco, and Bella stopped snarling, terminating their urge to fight.

  “Mate!” Crimson screams his voice swelled with dread. In one act, He bolts phases and Reuben is holding me trying to shelter me in the downpour of incessant lightning power. I embrace him to protect him, absorbing the lightning. The lightning stops raining down. I look at him “Pls calm down” I whisper feeling energy drained from my body, sinking as my knees give way and I fall into his chest.

  Face full of concern all he says is “Yes Amor” he lifts me up and carries me inside. Walking past coco and Bella. Their eyes locked on me with the same concern. Inside Reuben lays me down on the love seat. Randall now phased, followed him in, rushes into the kitchen and brings me a wet rag and some water. Without saying a word, he hands it to Reuben then goes to Carmen. Bella had run in a few seco
nds later to check on me. Then she also went back to Carmen.

  Reuben held me on his lap baby cradled, washing my face with the washcloth. “Are you ok mulatto, do you want me to get you more water?” without warning and for the second time since we met, Reuben crushes me in his hug as if I would die. “Pa, I am fine just a little weak but you’re crushing me.” He releases me to look at me with tears in his eyes. “Already I love you so much, mulatto. The thought you would die caused my reaction. I am sorry. But I would willingly die with you than remain without you”

  Cupping his face in my hand “Now you listen Reuben CRIMSON. In two days things have happened I do NOT understand. But this I do, I am not dying any time soon and neither are you. OK? Because someone destined us to be mates you understand me?” He nods his head then reaches to touch foreheads. “besides” my voice becomes romantic, my next words true from my heart, a fact without foundation “Without you now, I would die too.” He no longer says anything, he hugs me. He hugs me so hard I groan. But I let him, I am his, his mate, this is his right.
