by L. J. Hayward

L.C. Chase . . . Your eye-catching and stunning covers and layout speak for themselves. And you did it all while dealing with me. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and understanding.

Erin, Anna, Layla and Allison . . . You all supported me for so long during this journey and I am so very grateful for all you did.

Riina Y.T. . . . You’re a great friend, and awesome rock and sounding board, particularly with this book. You helped me get back up when I fell down. This book wouldn’t be here without you.

The Rotorheads, Chris Ostler, Mike Toms and Andrew Vintner . . . Thank you all for answering my weird questions about helicopters and how to crash them. I learned an awful lot and any helicopter faux pas that made it into the book are totally my mistake.

Lastly, to all the readers who took a chance on the new-to-them author with the weird back-and-forth timeline book, to all of you who stuck with Jack and Ethan (and me) all the way to the end, I love yous all! None of this is possible without any of you. All the thanks and cheers in the world to you!

L.J. Hayward has been telling stories for most of her life, a good deal of them of the tall variety. She loves reading but doesn’t seem to have enough time between wanting to be a more disciplined writer, being the actual erratic writer she is, and working for dollars in a dungeon laboratory. She also lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland, but rarely sees a beach and can’t surf, though she thinks living on a houseboat might be fun. At least then she’d have an excuse to get a cat.
