Gleeful days of an African tribal person are disturbed by a chain of catastrophic events from the moment he becomes a man until he becomes an Ebola survivor, leaving him utterly miserable and this is panoramically depicted with visualisation effect supported by the Author’s stylish, easy-to-understand literal language and life changing quotes, being the hub throughout the story:’Rumors are are like ripples in a paddy field.They are ephemeral, but they do indicate which way the wind is blowing.’
Through his experience as a humanitarian psychologist, he has been enormously successful in penning the struggles in life to the reader with real incidents from the life of Tamba renamed as George, manifesting the fact that life is not to surrender but to win for the sake of the people who love and care for you which is the bliss one can go through irrespective of time.
As the story concerns some dynamic areas that are supposed to be covered by the reader, it is advisable to read deeply rather than superficially for the larger gain.
This semi-fiction is woven in such a way that you can disregard Ebola completely and skim in the story of Tamba which carries vast knowledge, leaving the Author’s message on the hands of the reader to discover.
I strongly recommend this book to the readers who are willing to enjoy a masterpiece of Art regardless of their taste of literature or place of society.
