Right away David felt a warm tingling, but he wasn’t given much time to contemplate the feeling before Adam stood up and started up whipping him again.

“Six, seven, eight,” Adam brought his belt down in quick succession, forcing David to clench his ass down on the ginger plug without pause. “Nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen!”

Adam brought the belt down on David’s upper thighs, making him scream as the thick leather cut across the much more sensitive skin there.

“How you doing, baby?” Adam asked, crouching down and groping David’s ass like he was assessing his handiwork. He kneaded David’s ass with greedy hands, spreading his cheeks and licking across his hole again.

“Fucking hurts,” David complained, though he knew that if given a choice he would ask for Adam to continue. He felt like he was about to take off into the sky. All he needed was a little more and he’d be there.

“You want me to stop?” Adam asked, leaning in and biting his ass. The pain was different but just as good as the belt.

“No,” David said, no hesitation. Adam laughed and stood back up.

  “Well all right then.”

He delivered the remaining blows without counting, David clenching down on the ginger plug and squeezing the burning juice right out of the fibrous tissue, the tingling sensation getting hot and painful and making it almost impossible to stay still.

“Burns, doesn’t it,” Adam laughed, turning around and plopping himself down on David’s back. He reached down and grabbed David’s cheek in one meaty fist, pulling it to the side to expose his hole.

David realized that the belt portion of his punishment was over when Adam brought three fingers from his other hand together and started spanking his hole.

Crying out, Adam’s body on top of his back pinning him in place, there was nothing David could do except take the abuse.

By the third blow David’s hole felt sore and awful, and each new hit only made it worse. When Adam finally stopped they were both panting, David’s hole burning from both the ginger and the cruel slaps.

“All done,” Adam said, pulling out the plug and wrapping David up in his arms. He held him tight, hands folded over his stomach keeping him pressed against his chest. He growled into David’s ear. “You took your punishment like a fucking champ.”

David leaned his head back into Adam’s embrace, hands coming down on top of the gloved mitts keeping him trapped. He traced the seams in the leather, moving over Adam’s knuckles and long fingers.

“You like my gloves?” Adam asked with a chuckle, lifting one hand and splaying it across David’s face. Palm covering his mouth, fingers reaching to curl over his forehead and up toward his ears, Adam’s hand was a thing of beauty. David nuzzled into it, making the older man laugh.

“Kinky little slut,” he said, voice fond as he rubbed his hand over David’s face. “So what do you want to do now that you’ve taken your punishment?”

“Want you to fuck me while you play with my nipples,” David said, Adam’s erection against his back making his sore hole yearn to be stuffed for real. Not with water or ginger, but with a thick, hard cock.

“Yeah?” Adam asked, hand moving down to tweak his nipple. He wasn’t gentle and the sharp pain made David’s spent cock twitch.

“You said I could have whatever I wanted.”

“I did, didn’t I? And what you want is to get fucked while I hurt your nipples?”

David nodded. He hadn’t actually said that he wanted Adam to hurt his nipples, but he had to admit that that was what he’d meant.

  “Yes please.”

Adam laughed and kissed his cheek. “Okay baby. I’ll fuck you good and make those sexy little nipples know what they were made for, don’t you worry.”

  David couldn’t have been happier.

Three hours later David was still in bed, freshly fucked and feeling utterly and completely exhausted. His nipples hurt, Adam having twisted and squeezed them until he thought they were going to be ripped off, and his hole felt like it had gone to war.

He’d need at least a week to recuperate.

“How are you feeling?” Adam asked, coming back into the room with a platter of fruit, a sandwich and a glass of water. The sight of food made David’s stomach rumble and he suddenly remembered how long it had been since he’d eaten anything.

“Like you fucked me up and then beat me with a belt,” David answered, smiling and sitting up with his back against the headboard. “So in other words, pretty great.”

Adam grinned, setting the food down on the bed and sitting down next to him. He draped his arm across the back of David’s shoulders, the casual hold making David feel deliciously owned and taken care of.

That Adam was feeding him only served to intensify the feeling.

“I’m glad.” Adam pulled the tray with the food closer. “You should eat.”

David grabbed the sandwich and dug in, eating so fast that Adam laughed and told him to slow down.

“You’re going to give yourself heartburn eating like that,” he said, ruffling David’s hair fondly.

  David slowed down, blushing.

“So what did you do last night?” Adam asked, grabbing a strawberry and popping it in his mouth.

David paused, not wanting to rehash the evening that got him in Adam’s bad graces. Catching his expression Adam laughed.

“I know you got drunk, but before that. Did you have fun?”

David relaxed and resumed chewing, swallowing before answering. He thought back to the previous evening. He’d had a very nice time with Misha and Amy, the three of them sitting around drinking wine and talking about how crazy it was that David was getting married. It wasn’t until a group of Amy’s friends came by that they started drinking and getting wasted.

“I did. Misha and Amy and I were talking about the wedding.”

  “Yeah? What about it?”

“About when we’re going to have it. They think we should set a date.”

David also thought they should set a date, but he didn’t want to push. Saying it like this was an easier way to find out what Adam was thinking.

“How about June?” Adam suggested, like it was that easy.

“That’s just four months away?” David said, his protest at odds with how happy he felt.

“So? It’s not like we have to plan it ourselves. Why, when were you thinking?”

David licked his lips and bit his cheek to tamp down his smile. “June is fine. I like June.”

  “Good. It’s decided.”

David couldn’t believe it was that easy. He was getting married. It was surreal.

“Are we going on a honeymoon?” David asked hopefully. He really wanted to go on vacation with Adam, but he knew that with Adam’s schedule it wouldn’t be easy to take time off.

“I’d like that,” Adam said, kissing his cheek. “Anywhere in particular you’d like to go?”

  David shrugged. “Not really.”

Exotic destinations and expensive vacations were an every-day thing for David. It was spending time with Adam he valued.

“My friend has a pretty interesting pony farm. We could spend a week or two there, if you want.”

“A pony farm?” David couldn’t mask how little that idea appealed to him. No matter how much he liked calling Adam daddy he wasn’t actually a five-year-old.

Adam laughed. “It’s a human pony farm,” he explained, like that should have been obvious. “You’d spend the whole week being my pony. It would be pretty intense, but I think you’d enjoy it.”

David swallowed, glancing at Adam’s face and wondering what the hell a human pony farm looked like.

He didn’t want to know – except that he did.

“Like with the puppy play?” he asked, just to make sure he understood.

“Yes, but way more intense. They have grooms that would help me get you all geared up, and they’d also help train you and take care of you while you were ther
e.”

David didn’t say anything, not sure how he was supposed to react to this information.

“Would you be okay with that?” Adam asked, unusually tentative.

  “With what?”

“With other people being involved in dominating you?”

David’s breath caught, his mind immediately jumping to the bartender he’d met the last time he’d gone out with Misha. He’d fantasized about the muscular man teaming up with Adam to take him down, but he hadn’t thought that was the kind of fantasy that had any chance of becoming a reality.

“Would you be okay with that?” David asked, buying himself some time from having to answer as well as scoping out what Adam was thinking.

“I think it would be hot, letting someone else have at you. As long as I was in charge of the whole thing.”

David took a slow breath. “I think I’d like that.”

When he looked over at Adam the older man was smiling like the wolf right after it had gotten Red Riding Hood to step just a little bit closer.

“Yeah?” Adam asked, curling his arm around David’s neck and pulling him in close. He kissed the top of his head. “You’d let me pass you around, make you put on a show for me.”

“Mh hm,” David murmured with a nod, closing his eyes and pressing his nose into Adam’s chest. Warm and hairy, the thick muscle of Adam’s pectorals made for an excellent pillow.

“And the pony farm? Will you come with me and be my pony for a week or two?”

This time David hesitated. A day of puppy play was intense, he didn’t know if he could handle more than that.

  “Maybe?”

Adam kissed the top of his head again. “How about we head up there for just a weekend and you can see if you like it?”

That sounded better. A weekend David could handle.

  “Okay.”

“Good. I’ll call my friend and arrange a visit next weekend. Are you free then?”

  David nodded.

“Perfect. You’re going to love it. I promise.”

Adam had never sounded more satisfied.

  Adam

The formal dining room of the Lakeview Country Club was as stuffy as ever.

It was Thursday evening, and Adam had come right from work to the club to meet his father, David and David’s mother for an early dinner. They were supposed to discuss the wedding – ironing out the guest list and deciding on a location – while their lawyers were off in the conference room comparing final drafts of the merger contracts.

It was no secret which talks were more important.

Adam took a discreet look at his watch, shifting his arm so that the cuff of his shirt rose up to expose the watch-face, his mouth pinching in annoyance.

  David was late.

Cordelia Belvedere, David’s mother, caught him looking and rolled her eyes.

“This is so like David,” she said, taking a sip of her drink and shifting her gaze to Adam’s father. “Ever since he was a little boy he never could be on time. It used to drive me up the wall, though with how well behaved he’s been these past few months I’m not going to complain. Your son is a miracle worker.”

Adam suppressed a smirk at the way his father’s face reddened. They both knew how he’d tamed David, and he was pretty sure Cordelia would not approve.

No one wanted to be told that their son was a masochist who just needed a stern dom to keep them in line.

“Adam has always been a good influence on his peers,” Adam’s father said, clearly wishing that they were talking about anything else.

“I should have let his father spank him when he was a child,” Cordelia mused, not noticing the way her words caused Adam’s father to tighten his lips and look away. “We were too soft on him, and then suddenly it was too late. You can’t exactly take a twenty-five-year-old over your knee.”

She laughed, the sound fading when she noticed that Adam’s father wasn’t smiling.

“I’m glad you didn’t spank him as a child,” Adam said, breaking in before she could ask why Adam’s father was uncomfortable. “I don’t believe in spanking children.”

Left unsaid was that he very much believed in spanking adults. Preferably with enough force to make them bawl their eyes out.

“I suppose you’re right,” Cordelia said. She opened her mouth to say something else, but closed it at the sight of David hurrying into the restaurant. He had a sheepish grin on his face, his hair a windswept mess, and he almost knocked over a waiter in his rush to reach the table.

He gave his mother a kiss on the cheek and shook hands with Adam’s father before taking a seat next to Adam.

“Sorry I’m late,” he said, breathless and with a fine sheen of sweat on his brow. He glanced apologetically in Adam’s direction. “I went to the wrong club and then my car had already left and my battery was dead and I didn’t have cash for a cab so I had to run.”

Cordelia laughed. “You went to Ranglin? Darling, you know I haven’t been a member there for years. What on earth were you thinking?”

“I don’t know.” The sheepish grin made its way back to David’s face and he shrugged. “You said to meet you all at the club, and it wasn’t until I was there that I remembered you’d cancelled your membership.”

“It’s okay,” Adam said, grabbing him by the back of the neck and pulling him in to kiss his temple. “Honest mistake.”

David smiled, cheeks warming as he stilled under the weight of Adam’s hand. Lifting his thumb, Adam stroked the side of his neck, rubbing over his pulse and pressing down gently. A shudder ran down the length of David’s body at the touch.

“Never mind that,” Adam’s father interrupted, looking at Adam’s hand on the back of David’s neck like he expected it to lift up and start slapping away at any second. “We have much to discuss. I understand Cordelia that you are not on good terms with the Wendovers, but I’m hoping you can put that aside. Given their longstanding support of my charity and their friendship with my late wife I hope…”

Adam tuned out his father’s voice, leaning back in his chair as his hand slid down to rest on David’s upper back. He didn’t care about the guest list or the family feuds and friendships that complicated it. He trusted his father to make sure that everyone who had to be there would be. There were only a few people whose attendance actually mattered, like Derek and his sister, and he would invite them personally.

“Do we even need to be here for this?” David asked, keeping his voice low so that their parents wouldn’t hear him.

Adam grinned, shaking his head. He answered back in the same volume. “Not unless you have someone you want to invite that they’d object to. Do you?”

  David shook his head.

“Today is actually about the merger,” Adam said, still keeping his voice low. “The lawyers finally have a set of contracts they all agree on, and our head negotiators are in the conference room upstairs looking over everything one last time. If all goes as planned your mother and I will sign tonight.”

David blinked, licking his lips and looking down. “Is it still contingent on us marrying?”

Adam didn’t know what to make of the question. He hoped David wasn’t having doubts. The merger was good business – a feather in his cap as CEO – but he was genuinely looking forward to David being his.

He needed David to know that.

“It is, but you know that I’m not just in this for the merger, right?” he said, leaning in closer and speaking into David’s ear. “I’m doing this because I want to own you. Even if the merger fell though I wouldn’t give you up.”

David took a trembling breath, a blush creeping up his neck as he nodded. “Okay.”

Adam grinned, kissing his cheek and giving his neck a painful squeeze before letting go. He picked up his glass of wine, locking eyes with his father across the table as he took a sip.

His old man did not look amused.

Adam shot him a bland smile, refusing
to acknowledge the cause of his discomfort. Until he pulled down David’s pants and spanked him right in front of him, his father had nothing to complain about. It was perfectly normal for engaged couples to be a little touchy feely.

  Expected, even.

The rest of the evening passed slowly. When the lawyers came down to signal that the contracts were ready to sign, Adam was on his second dessert and more than ready to get the whole thing over with.

They all shuffled upstairs to the conference room and gathered around the table.

Signing the contracts was anticlimactic, and as they left the conference room Adam could tell that David was confused.

“That’s it?” David asked after they’d climbed into the back of Adam’s car.

“That’s it,” Adam confirmed. “Merger is happening.”

  David’s brow furrowed.

“I thought deals like that were signed in front of the press.”

Adam shrugged. “That kind of a fuss is usually reserved for when you have shareholders and markets to contend with. As family-owned private companies we don’t have to worry about any of that.”

“Weird,” David said, looking out the window. He kept his gaze on the passing traffic, mind a million miles away, but after a few minutes he turned to Adam with a frown. “This isn’t the way to your place.”

Adam grinned wolfishly. He’d wondered when David would notice. “I thought we could stop by the Blue Room. You said you wanted to check it out, right?”

Adam had spent his lunch the day before booking a private room at the club and arranging for one of his favorite doms to be available.

  “Do you have anything planned?”

Adam reached over and squeezed David’s earlobe, tugging it and rubbing it between his fingers.

“I do. We’re going to watch tonight’s show, and after that we’re going to head up to one of the private rooms to play.” Adam licked his lips and glanced at David. “The dom who’s performing in the show will be joining us. I think you’ll like him. He’s very tall, and he’s got a thing for nipple torture.”
