Coffee is already made. Going to the security firm to get an early start. Jenna, my sister, is flying in today to help with all the new transformations. “I am assuming the girl you saw was Jenna,” he said.
“I guess it could be. I have never met her before.”
“Well, let’s go get ready, and we will stop on the way to get coffee and some food.”
By the time we got to the Nickels Security Firm, Amanda already had Collin and Becca hooked up for the next treatment. She came out of their room. “They will be out for a couple of hours. This time, no one goes in there room, until they come out. I also have Jessica set up to make a serum from her. She is finding that she has different powers than you have,” said Amanda. “So, Bradley suggested it would be good to have both serums going.”
I just nodded. “So what time is your sister coming in today?” I asked.
“Her plane lands in an hour, and I have a car picking her up to come straight here. Why?” asked Amanda.
Bradley and Molly came up behind me. “Because we’re going to need an extraction team,” I stated. “I had a vision this morning, after reading your note. I believe your sister is in danger.” I told them what I saw. Bradley sent out a text alert for everyone to come to the security firm. Jonathan and his men were already here, so they were ready in a matter of minutes.
I began to get ready to go, but Jonathan felt me immediately and rounded on me.
“Where do you think you are going?” he said.
“I am coming with you.”
“No, I want you to stay here,” he said. “This is what my men and I do. We can handle this one without you putting yourself in danger. Besides, you need to be here for Jess’s procedure, because Carson will be with me.”
“But you’re still a man down,” I said as I pointed to Collin and Becca in the other room.
“Bradley can take his place. You are staying here, and you can also help Molly get a handle on her powers.”
“Fine, if you need me, call me and I will be there in a flash.”
He kissed me deeply and turned to go rescue Jenna.
I took Molly to the obstacle course to meet my mother. She has the best training techniques. It’s how I learned. I also told Momma that Amanda was using Jessica to make a serum. Momma told me that it would split the group into three packs.
One, Bradley was already an Alpha and has his own pack. Two, Jessa has an Alpha in her, and her wolf would only seek out an Alpha of her own. “Wait, so Carson in an Alpha also?” I said.
“He became an Alpha after their mating. But if you’re giving them the serum randomly, it should work out evenly,” said Momma.

There will probably be a couple of fights to see who is strongest as Alpha for each pack,” said Momma. “It will establish order. That’s just how it works, and it usually happens in wolf form.” I nodded as Molly blew a corner off the big boulder rock.

Then Momma gave Molly and me a task together. I was to throw logs and things at Molly to see if she could freeze them and blow them up. I started slow, but then moved to two or three things at a time. Momma decided that I needed a lesson to show Molly what could be done. Momma through a handful of things at Molly and made a simulation of the hellhounds bearing down on me. I froze everything going at Molly with one hand and I whirled the hellhounds up in a vortex and I through them into each other and the blast through us both back. Molly hit her head and passed out. Jess was resting after her procedure, but she heard me calling her and she felt that I was weak. She was extremely sore, but she had enough energy to shift to her wolf to heal herself. Then she shifted back. When she came out of her room, Amanda yelled at her for getting out of bed too early. Jessica explained that she shifted and that I was calling to her, and that Molly and I were hurt on the obstacle course.
Amanda and Jess had gotten to me just in time. Jess had to help heal me after Amanda was able to remove the bar. Molly came to and told them what had happened, and that Teri Ann had over done it a bit.
“You will be staying overnight. Bradley and Jonathan are not going to be happy when they get back,” said Amanda, and just then they all walked in with Dominic carrying Jenna to a room. Amanda went in to check on her. “Jenna will be okay; she just needs stitches,” said Dominic as he caressed her cheek and then stiffened at what he was doing. Then he turned to walk out the door.

“Why is my mate in a medical bed again?” asked Jonathan. Jess looked at Bradley and Jonathan.
“They were training, and Teri Ann, got a bit overzealous,” said Jessica
Jonathan hung his head and shook it. “Is there nowhere safe, I can keep her?”
Bradley punched a hole in the wall. Amanda came in and told them to keep it down. “She needs to rest. When she wakes, she can shift and fully heal. Just know from what Molly said, Kate saved her. Your mom was not pulling any punches.” Amanda said to Bradley. “When we found them, Kate had a bar through her stomach.”
Jonathan sucked in a breath at the remembrance of the tree branch in Kate’s stomach as a child.
“Why would Teri Ann do that?” said Jonathan.
“I don’t know,” said Bradley. “But I would love to ask her myself, what the fuck was she thinking?
Jonathan sat there for hours holding Kate’s hand. She finally came to at about 3:00 in the morning. Kate sucked in a breath as she opened her eyes. Dark-green eyes stared back at her and they were not pleased.
“I left you here so that you would be safe,” Jonathan stated. “Um, I have no words for you right now.”
“I am a bit pissed off myself.” I tried to move, but I was way too sore to move. I sucked in tiny breaths. “What exactly happened?” I asked.
“Well, you saved Molly. She told us you froze everything your mother had thrown at her because you saw it was too much for Molly and that you had two beasts coming at you, and that you swooped them up in a vortex. Then you threw them all together and the blast threw you both back, and she hit her head and you had a bar sticking out of your stomach when Molly came to.” My eyes widened.
“You need to shift, so that you can fully heal. Jess healed you as best as she could when Amanda removed the bar, and then Amanda did what she could do medically.”
I began to shimmer, and I howled in pain as I came to my wolf. My wolf wanted to stay and would not let me shift back.
