Textbook Approach: A Small Town Romance Page 6

by Lagomarsino, Giulia

His hands gripped me around the arms, hauling me up and over his shoulder. I screeched as I bounced on his shoulder and he started to carry me to my bedroom. When he tossed me down on the bed, I wasted no time in spreading my legs and shoving my hand back down my panties. He stood at the foot of the bed, panting as he watched me pleasure myself.

“You like playing games?” he asked.

I quirked an eyebrow at him. “What games?”

“Do you think I don’t know what you’re doing?”

“Well, I sure hope that you see I’m trying to tempt you to fuck me all night long.”

He shook his head slightly, a crooked grin appearing on his face. “Baby, that and so much more.”

He pounced, laying his body over mine as he rubbed his dick against my pussy. He yanked at the fabric and tore it in one swift move. Then his dick was at my entrance and he was pushing inside, filling me so much that I had to take a deep breath.

  “Oh God,” I groaned.

He pulled out and slowly slid back in, his eyes boring into mine. “I can’t go slow.”

  “I don’t want you to.”

He pulled back out and then he was fucking me hard, his whole body jerking with the thrusts of his movements. My tits bounced in my bra, my nipples scraping against the lace. I slid my hands up to my chest, cupping my breasts as he fucked me. I pulled both the cups down for him to see, but he didn’t just watch. He leaned down and pulled my nipple into his mouth, sucking hard until I could feel it down in my clit. I spread my legs wide for him, allowing him more access and then I slid my hand down and slid three fingers in my pussy as he fucked me.

“What the fuck?” he groaned. “What are you doing to me?” I grinned as he rubbed his dick against my fingers. “You have no idea how amazing that feels,” he panted.

“Maybe next time I’ll get a vibrator to shove in there with you.”

He stopped moving and just stared at me for a moment. Then he kissed me hard. “I think I love you. Say you’ll forget your rules and marry me tomorrow.”

I laughed and kissed him again. “Careful, people will think you want to fuck me with another man.”

His brows furrowed and he shook his head slightly. “No, that’s not…”

“I know that’s not what you want. But if you’re ever up for a threesome…”

“I know someone that might be interested.”

  “It’d better be a man.”

  “Not happening.”

“Well, I don’t plan on sleeping with any other women.”

“I guess we’ll just stick with the two of us then,” he said, thrusting back into me. The pressure built inside me, and then I was spasming, my whole body jerking from the orgasm rushing through me.

“Fuck, that’s beautiful,” he groaned just as he came. He was panting hard as he slid out of me. I pulled my fingers out and he snatched them, pulling my fingers up to his mouth as I watched him suck them clean.

“So, does this mean you’re okay with fucking and dating?”

“Baby, that’s every man’s wet dream.”

I stepped out of the shower and towel-dried my hair. Sex with Will was life-altering. I had to admit, I didn’t even get this turned on with Nathan. He was great in bed, but there was a connection with Will that I didn’t feel with Nathan. Everything with him was so clinical. And that was probably because we worked together, so it was nice to have something different for a change. I smiled as I took in my flushed face in the mirror. I could still feel his hands roaming over my body and the way his tongue did the most amazing things to me.

I hung up the towel and opened the bathroom door, surprised to see Will still laying in my bed. He looked like he was sleeping. I grabbed some underwear out of the drawer and then slid a shirt over my head and walked over to his side. Shaking him slightly, he opened his eyes with a grin.

“I just fell asleep. Give a guy a chance to rest before you ask for another round.”

I grinned at him. “I wasn’t going to ask for another round. I was going to ask you to leave.”

His brows furrowed and he glanced over at the clock. “Seriously? It’s two in the morning.”

“I know, and I need to get some sleep, so I need you to go home.”

He laughed, but when he saw I was serious, he scowled. “You’re really kicking me out?”

“Look, this was fun, but I need sleep.”

  “So, come to bed.”

“No, I know how this goes. I get in bed and then you want to snuggle or something, but then I won’t be able to fall asleep. And then you’ll start snoring and I’ll smother you with the pillow. And I’m a doctor. I’ve taken an oath to do no harm.”

“But you don’t even know if I snore.”

“About forty percent of men are habitual snorers, which means there’s a forty percent chance that I won’t be able to sleep tonight. I can’t take that chance. I have surgery in the morning.”

He shook his head unbelievably. “This is insane.”

“No, what’s insane is that you’re still laying in bed after I’ve asked you to leave.”

He scoffed and threw the covers off, pulling his pants off the ground. “This is ridiculous.”

“Look, I already talked about this with you,” I chuckled, wondering why I thought he would be any different than the other men that thought they could change me. “I told you I don’t do relationships.”

“I’m not asking for a relationship. Just a little sleep.”

“Well, you can get that at your place. Besides, I’m not going to make you breakfast in the morning, and when I have to leave, I’m not going to sit here and shake you awake for a half hour until you finally decide to get your ass out of bed.”

He snatched his shirt off the ground and pulled it over his head. I could tell he was pissed, but I was very clear about the nature of our relationship. He was going to have to get over it.

“I would say thanks for the nice time, but frankly, this is a pretty shitty end to the night.”

I rolled my eyes as he stalked out of the room and slammed the door behind him. Men could be so dramatic.

  Will

I was in a terrible mood after school. I needed a drink, but none of my friends were available. That left my brothers, and as much as they would probably harass me, it was better to talk to somebody than to nobody. I sent out an emergency meeting and prayed they all showed up. When I pulled in Eric’s driveway, I was relieved to see everyone there.

“What’s this about?” Eric asked as I walked into the house.

“I need to talk about Charlie.”

  “Who’s Charlie?” Joe asked.

“Someone I met a few days back. We had this connection and everything was perfect. I thought we really had something.”

  “Charlie is…” Andrew said slowly.

“A date,” I said, confused by his question. “We went to this restaurant and…well, it was made pretty clear that a relationship was off the table.”

Robert cleared his throat, pulling out a chair carefully. In fact, he was doing everything carefully, down to how he was holding his hands in front of him. “So…Charlie,” he said, waiting for me to confirm. I nodded. “Charlie isn’t looking for a relationship.”

“I know, every man’s fantasy, right? At least, that is until I was kicked out at two o’clock in the morning.”

Eric swallowed hard. “So…you went through with it.”

I looked at him funny. “Of course, I went through with it. When you really like someone, you go for it.”

Joe nodded, swiping at his face uncomfortably. “Right, we understand,” he said, shooting my brothers a look. “We just…didn’t realize that you were into…that.”

I rolled my eyes. “I know I’ve played the field a lot, but I’m ready for something more, and I think Charlie can give that to me.”

“What does Charlie do?” Eric asked.

  “Doctor. Surgeon actually.”

  “That’s imp
ressive. Do you think…” He scratched his head for a minute. “Do you think there might be repercussions from the school?”

“For dating another person? I hardly think that in this day and age, the school would come after me. As long as I’m not flaunting my relationship at the school, I’m not sure why it would matter.”

“Look,” Robert said. “You know we all love you, no matter what you decide. But this is a big step for any man, or woman for that matter,” he added quickly. “I mean, just think about what the town will say, all the gossip.”

“The town gossips about everything. Do you really think I give a fuck about what they say? Besides, it’s not like I’m in love. We’re just dating.”

“Yeah, but that could be worse,” Andrew said. “If you were serious, that would be different, but testing the waters…it makes things look different.”

“Yeah, maybe you should consider keeping this under wraps until you’re sure this is something you want to pursue,” Eric said diplomatically.

“I’m not sure why my relationships are something that need to be announced or kept secret. It’s my life. Anyone else can go fuck themselves.”

They all nodded, but they were also looking at each other strangely, like they were nervous for me. I didn’t get it.

“Have you told Ma?” Robert asked.

“About a one night stand? Why the hell would I tell her that?”

“Well, given the circumstances…maybe this is something you should tell her.”

“Yeah, that’s exactly what I want to tell her. I’ve met someone, but unfortunately, the feelings are not mutual.”

“But based on the fact about the…change in your…sexual preferences…perhaps-“

“Wait,” I interrupted Joe. “Nothing has changed about my sexual preferences. Do I like sex? Yes. Do I need it often? Yes. See? Nothing’s changed. And even if they had changed, why would I tell Ma that? Should I tell her about the shit I’ve walked in on with you and Kat?”

“No,” Eric shook his head furiously.

“Maybe I should tell her about the dick piercing.”

“She definitely doesn’t need to know about that.”

“Then why the hell would you expect me to tell Ma about this? If and when I’m ready to introduce Ma to Charlie, I’ll make that decision based on where our relationship stands. Of course, I would have to mention the kid.”

  “Then kid?” Eric asked incredulously.

“Yeah, Charlie has an eight year old son.”

“Whoa,” Robert laughed, shaking his head. “This is…you should not be getting involved with this. Just think about the repercussions of bringing a kid into this.”

“I’m well aware. It’s not like we’re going to hump like rabbits in front of him. Besides, Charlie doesn’t want any kind of relationship. Been there, done that.”

“Ah, so already burned in this situation.”

“Exactly. I mean, you would think it would be every guy’s fantasy, but I was kind of hoping for more on my first time. You know, pop the cherry in style.”

Andrew coughed out a laugh. “Wait, so you want a relationship with the first…” he cleared his throat. “That popped your cherry?”

“Well, it’s a big deal. You don’t make it this far, decide to go through with something like this and expect it to be less than special.”

  “Is this Charlie’s first time?”

“No,” I said to Robert. “Married, hence the kid.”

  “Adopted?”

I looked at him funny. “No, why would you assume adopted.”

“Surrogacy,” Eric nodded. “Kat and I have talked about it. It’s hard to think about going through that again. This might be easier.”

“So, who does the kid look like?” Andrew asked.

I shrugged. “I guess like the ex. I can’t be sure though. I haven’t met him. But you know, here’s the other weird thing. When I saw Charlie at the skating rink, there was this guy-“

  “Boyfriend?”

“No, apparently, they just fuck. Friends and lovers and all that. He didn’t seem at all upset that I was stepping in his territory. If anything, he was kind of rooting for me.”

“For another man to take his place,” Joe said slowly.

“I know. I thought it was weird too, but Charlie assured me that this was normal between them. In fact, he was so thrilled that he kept talking to me about baseball. He knew all about my career. It was a little creepy.”

“So, this guy just hung out with you all afternoon?” Andrew asked.

“Yeah. You know, I’ve never been friends with someone I’ve slept with. I’ve never developed that kind of relationship. This was totally natural to them.”

“Do you think it’s because they’re…” Eric waved his hand like I was supposed to read his mind.

  “Surgeons?”

“No, because they’re…” He sighed and glanced around the room, looking for help. “You know, I can’t discuss this. I feel like this is way out of my field. I can’t give you advice.”

“Well, I know that, dip shit. You’ve never had a relationship that didn’t begin with a well thought out plan.”

“And look where it got me,” he grinned.

“You’re missing the point. I want the transition, but without Charlie being on the same page, I feel…a little used.”

“Can I ask,” Joe said, “purely out of curiosity. When you…” He shifted in his chair and quirked his lips. “You know when you’re…” He cleared his throat and shifted again. “When you’re in an embrace, are you on top or bottom?”

“Both,” I said, wondering why it took so much for him to ask that. “I mean, when Charlie’s on top…” My eyes rolled back in my head and I groaned. “That loss of control, knowing that anything can happen is something I’ve never experienced before. But when I’m on top, it’s fucking amazing too.”

Robert stood suddenly, pushing back his chair and grabbing his coat. “You know, I think I have…need to…oh look, Anna’s calling me.”

He practically ran out the door and it didn’t take long for the others to come up with reasons to leave either. Soon, I was just left with Eric, and he looked about as comfortable as a person stuck to a cactus. He wouldn’t look at me all the way and he kept twiddling his thumbs. After a moment, Kat walked through the door and he sprung up from his chair.

  “Kat! You’re home. Thank God.”

“Why thank God? What did you do?”

“Uh…nothing. Will has some stuff he would like to talk to you about. So, I’ll leave you to it. I’m just…gonna go outside and do some manly shit.”

He was out the door in just seconds, leaving me alone with Kat. “So, what is this mysterious subject you need to talk about?”

  “I met someone.”

  “Uh-huh, and what’s her name?”

  “Charlie, short for Charlotte.”

  “Nice, sounds feisty.”

  “She’s amazing.”

  “But?”

I sighed and took a seat. “She’s not into relationships. She’s been married once before and she doesn’t want to do it again. She said men and women are created too differently and we were never supposed to spend our lives together.”

“Well, she may have a point there.”

“She kicked me out last night. It was terrible. I mean, I knew she wasn’t looking for a relationship, but she was downright brutal.”

Kat nodded thoughtfully. “Well, if she’s not looking for more, you either have to go with it and hope that you’ll be happy or you have to slowly manipulate her into getting what you want.”

I sat on the edge of my seat. “And how do I go about doing that?”

“Well, first of all, you have to pretend that you’re totally cool with taking things as they come. She has to be comfortable around you, so comfortable that she wants you around more. Maybe one night you say you’re tired and ask if you can just veg out and watch a movie. No sex.”

  “No sex?”

&n
bsp; She pursed her lips at me. “Do you want to win this woman over or not?”

  “Fine,” I grumbled. “What else?”

“Well, you should find a way to make yourself useful. Say she’s running behind or something, pick up dinner for her. Or if she has something at the dry cleaner’s, offer to pick it up for her.”

“I don’t think she uses the dry cleaner.”

“You’re missing the point. You need to make yourself useful, but not in an obvious way. Don’t just go offering your services whenever you’re around her. Only do it when she sounds stressed out. You don’t want to scare her off. You want to make sure that she feels like you’re a godsend.”

“Okay, I can do that. What about bringing her coffee when she’s at work?”

She cringed. “In theory, that sounds sweet. But for a woman like her, it’s overstepping your boundaries. She needs to be able to separate you from the other parts of her life.”

I nodded. That made sense. “Okay, what about her kid? He’s eight years old.”

“Well, that’s a little more tricky. You can’t come off as this replacement father figure. You’re going to have to play that as more of a friend role. Keep things really chill between the two of you. Like you’re cool with having him around, but you’re not ready to run out and adopt the kid.”

I blew out a breath and sighed. “Why does this all have to be so complicated?”

“Because you’re dating a complicated woman that thinks she’s simple.”

“Okay, so she kicked me out in the middle of the night. Where do I go from here?”

“How did you respond to getting kicked out?”

“Well, frankly, I was a little pissed. She said most men snore and then said she didn’t have time to try and wake me up in the morning when she had to get to work.”

“She has a point,” Kat nodded.

  “So, what do I do?”

“I think you really need Anna more on this one.”

  “Why?”

“Well, she was the queen of pushing Robert away. I think if anyone can be inside this woman’s head, it’s her.”
