“Yes,” I said as I smiled. “It’s only temporary, though. I’ll allow him to stay until you find him a home.”
I went up to the window and took the next order. I could tell Star needed a break from dealing with the customers.
“Calling back one coconut pie,” I shouted to Star as I rang the customer up.
“I think you mean, Coconut Crème Confession,” Star said as she grinned.

Coconut Creme Confession Recipe
Coconut Crème Confession – Recipe
Total Preparation time – 1 hour and 5 minutes (Prep 5 minutes and Cook time 1 hour)
This is a simple recipe that produces a fresh, sweet, and tasty pie.
Ingredients
½ stick melted butter
3 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons of flour
I cup of freshly grated coconuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 9-inch pie crust, fluted and unbaked.
Mix all ingredients together. Once complete, pour into the pie crust. Bake the pie in a pre-heated oven for one hour. Make sure to cool before serving.
Optional- Add whipped topping and fresh roasted grated coconut to top it off.
