Cabin Fever

Page 34

by Shani Greene-Dowdell et al.

“What’s going on here? We had a call that a woman was kidnapped.”

“That would be me, officer.” Lena stepped forward with her hands lifted in the air.

That’s when Sheridan got his balls back and decided to lie his way out of the situation. He started making it look like I was the perpetrator. He was a rich businessman in this community and I’m sure he had influence with important people. What if they believed him over me?

“Officers, I am so happy to see you. This man and his friends broke into my house and are trying to kidnap my daughter. I believe they are running a sex trafficking ring. You arrived just in time. He was trying to kill me.”

  Lying prick.

“That is a lie!” Lena spoke up in our defense.

  “Which part is the lie.”

You could see the officer was confused and wanted to be anywhere but there.

“All of it is a lie. This man is my husband.” She took my hand and moved into my body. “He came here to rescue me from my father, who kidnapped me from my home in California earlier today. He’s the one you should be arresting.”

She pointed at her father who was fuming. The cops were confused and didn’t know who to believe so they called in a supervisor to come out and sort things out. By the time we had all been interviewed separately, Mr. Sheridan and his little helper were in hand cuffs in the back of the cruiser being charged with assault, kidnapping and obstruction. The sergeant that took care of everything informed us that because Lena had been transported over state lines, he was calling in the Feds to deal with them. We could return home but had to stay available to be interviewed by agents from our local office.

After getting everything sorted, I picked my wife up, threw her over my shoulder and hauled her beautiful ass onto the plane that would take us back to our cabin paradise. No one would ever take her away from me again. She was stuck with this Seal for a lifetime.

  Lena

  Three years later…

“Lena, bring your fine ass over here and give me a proper good morning.”

I giggled as I looked at my husband who lay in the bed looking like a sleepy sex god. He had kept me up half the night making my body scream out in pleasure and now he wanted more. His idea of a proper good morning was me riding his face until I came and then riding his cock until we both came. The man was insatiable, and I loved it.

“You know today is the grand opening.”

“I know. That’s why I’m gonna make you come in less than two minutes. Now, get over here and sit on my face.”

“Now, who could resist such a charming offer?”

I laughed as I got up from my perch next to the window that overlooked the ocean. It was my favorite place to sit and think. Today was a big day for us and I wanted everything to be perfect. Forgetting about the events of the day, I sauntered over to the bed, removing my silk robe along the way, climbed up on the bed and hovered my honey pot just above my husband’s face.

“Damn Lena, you smell amazing. Stop teasing me. I need to taste you.”

Linc clamped his strong hands onto my hips and pulled me down onto his face. I swear I don’t know how the man breathed, but he enjoyed being smothered by my thick thighs. I certainly enjoyed having his face, beard and tongue on my lady parts, especially when he was licking me the way he was this morning. He was a man on a mission. And if you don’t know by now, my man never fails at a mission.

Feeling his tongue diving in and out of my pleasure palace cause me to squirm. Linc’s grip on my hips tightened as he alternated sucking on my clit and tongue fucking me. My god the man was talented. My hands flew up to my nipples for the added pleasure. It was one of the many things I discovered turned me on to the point of distraction. As my husband drowned in my juices, I moved my hips back and forth over his face. My moans could be heard for miles. I was sure of it. When I came, my body shivered, and I could not breathe. Some mornings I would pass out from pleasure. It didn’t happen often, but it did happen. I prayed today wasn’t one of those days.

No sooner than he had his fill of my orgasm, Linc lifted me off his face, tossed me onto the bed and impaled me with his rock-hard cock. That was one of the perks of having a strong man. He was always lifting me, tossing me or manhandling me in the bedroom. It made me wetter than Seattle in the fall.

“Fuck, Lena. This pussy is so good, babe.”

I loved his dirty mouth weather it was eating me or talking shit. He was delicious. Linc lifted both my legs up to my chest, making me feel like a circus act. He contorted my body in such awkward ways I am sure if we ever decide to make a video, it will look ridiculous. He pumped into to me with such gusto, all I could do was pant his name.

  “Yes, Linc. Right there!”

He found my spot and hit it over and over again, drawing out the most intense orgasm he could. I tried to back away as the powerful strokes became too much, but he was in control of this session. I was locked in and there was nowhere to go. I could tap out, if I wanted to be a weakling, but I would never give him the satisfaction. Before I knew it, I was spraying cum all over his lower torso, which earned me a groan.

“Damn it, Lena, that shit is beautiful. I need you to do it again.”

  “Linc no. It’s too much.”

“Come on, give me just one more.”

My body reacted to his words and those intense shots to my cervix, coming again. When my walls were exhausted from squeezing my pleasure, Linc increased his speed. His breathing changed and I knew he was on the verge of exploding. A couple more pumps and he was growling his release.

“Fuck me! I could die a very happy man now.”

“Linc, don’t say shit like that.”

“Sorry, baby. Damn that was good.”

“It was amazing, but you don’t have time to rest. We have a long day ahead of us.”

“I’ll race you to the shower. I think I’ve got one more in me before we head out.”

  “Really?”

“Woman get your ass in the shower with your husband. Stop being difficult. You know you like it.”

I shook my head as I followed Linc into the bathroom. If he could manage to get it up so soon after that intensity, I had to see that. Plus, it was my duty. In my head, as many times as he could get it up, it fell upon me to get it back down.

  ***

Walking into our new facility with everything in place felt like a dream. We were finally able to help veterans we both loved and cared for. It took three long excruciating years fighting with the city for permits, but we finally got it done. The Frogman was a state of the art, ten-unit sanctuary set up to treat PTSD sufferers. Though both Link and I owned it together, it was Sheridan Healthcare that gave us the seed money to get up and running.

I was still the majority shareholder in the company. Since I lived on the west coast, there was a need for a reliable person to take the helm of the empire. Since I never wanted the job, Trina and I made the decision to hire within the family. In the meantime, I started taking some online courses to get my certification to sell cannabis products. Once that was complete, I began my certification as a counselor. It turned out helping Linc fulfill his dream, I discovered one of my own. Helping others had always been my passion, now I got to do it on a full-time basis.

My mother, who managed to thrive once she was out from under the controlling thumb of my father, was on the board of directors. She was now CEO of Sheridan Healthcare. After the kidnapping incident with Daddy and Anderson going to federal prison, Mama decided she wanted to be a hands-on part of the company. When I learned of the advanced degrees she held, I was shocked. Who knew my mother had been the driving force behind the company all these years? I guess that’s why she insisted that I was allowed to go to college online to obtain my degree.

Trina was still an integral part of the company, leading the tech side of the business. The girl was mostly self-taught but was going back to school to earn her degree just to shut up the naysayers. Trina cou
ld teach the classes at the University, if you asked me. Both she and my mom were in attendance for the grand opening.

“Trina, come here and give your big sister a hug.”

I waved her over to me, hopefully rescuing her from a very handsy veteran. Men loved my little sister. I couldn’t blame them. She was gorgeous, smart and rich - a lethal combination.

“Girl, thanks for saving me. I’m surprised I even have an ass left after that fool touched all on me. Trying to act like his disability was the reason he kept brushing up against me. That man is a menace.”

“Yeah, but I notice you’re grinning and not disgusted.”

“Oh, shut up Lena. It’s been a while. If old soldier boy plays his cards right, I might just take him for a spin on the Trina Train.”

“What the hell? Girl, you are too much.”

“Speaking of too much, that husband of your is way too much. I could hear you screaming your head off this morning when I came a knocking on your door this morning. Of course you were too busy getting that puss pounded to answer. Girl, it sounded like he was exercising some demons in there.”

“Oh my goodness! You heard us? I am so embarrassed. Please say mama wasn’t with you.”

“Who cares if she was? You are a grown ass married woman in your own house, with your own husband. If he wants to fuck you into oblivion, I’m not even mad at him. In fact, I’m happy for you. I need to get me a soldier to put in some work.”

“Looks like you already have one in mind.”

Trina was eye fucking the man she was talking to before. I would be surprised if she didn’t disappear during the ceremony for a little taste.

“Ladies and gentlemen, please take your seats. We are about to begin.”

I stood there watching my husband address the room of friends, family and soldiers. He was living his dream and I was right there by his side living mine. It felt good to be able to build something with a man of integrity and strength. He would always be there to protect me, even when I didn’t need it. He would always be loyal, and he would always be mine. My Seal of a lifetime.

  Synopsis

Xander loves only a few things more than partying, booze, and women, and those things are new parties, new booze, and new women. A fake high-spirited lifestyle and numbing potions make his tragic loss disappear, if only for a little while. When he was a young boy, his father did the unimaginable, leaving his family torn forever. He’s never told anyone about the night that left him afraid to get close enough to a woman to break her.

Unlucky in love, Jayne has allowed her ex to have a revolving door in her life. Even after the public humiliation of finding out about his nuptials to another woman on social media, she still allows her ex in. The part of her that’s supposed to reject hurtful feelings is defected. Relegated from soon-to-be wife to side chick, she’s lost in tainted love. Only her best friend, Tameka, knows she’s spiraling out of control. To everyone else, she is the example of a happy, liberated woman.

From the outside looking in, Xander and Jayne are an obvious connection. However, when they do connect, one is holding back, and the other is moving too fast. Will their hearts catch up to each other before it’s too late? Or will what they’re each trying to hide kill any chance of a future?

  Chapter 1

  Xander

  Sober Memories

You can’t be with her, I silently tried to tamp down the desire growing for Jayne Alexander. For real, Xander, you can’t have her.

I had to emphasize the importance of not pursuing Jayne. I couldn’t break a woman so beautiful, and I would break her if she were mine. Breaking beautiful things was in my DNA. It was an engrained darkness I couldn’t escape.

“You remind me of the character Katara from Mortal Combat,” I said to distract the beautiful woman sitting across from me from the way I felt about her. She usually ignored me or only gave me a quick greeting ‘hi’ or ‘bye,’ but I had somehow gotten lucky enough to land not only her attention but a decent conversation.

Upon talking to Jayne, I was immediately drawn to her. Every moment in her presence took me further out of my comfort zone.

We were at Jeb’s club in Lafayette, where the hot new singer, Alise—a member of my friends’ wives’ crew—had just finished performing. Channing, Kemara, Jeb, Tameka, Bruiser, and Alise sat around a large table, drinking, laughing, and chatting. Jayne and I were the odd couple out, so I struck up a conversation with her.

“Don’t you mean Kitana?” she asked, scrunching her face as if I had read a textbook corny pickup line to her. When she laughed, I relaxed again.

“Yep, I used to play the game all the time. I guess I’m a little rusty on the names,” I said, but I remembered the way Kitana looked. Jayne was the spitting image of the character, freaking beautiful. Her high cheekbones made her gorgeous smile more prominent, and she smiled a lot, which made my night better by the moment.

“I love that game. I used to play it all the time.” The soft octaves of her voice rode all over me. Her piercing brown eyes were “home.” I couldn’t explain it if my life depended on it, but it felt like home being in her presence.

I never thought much about how home would feel. Since I was a young boy, I was a fish out of water. As an adult, I overcompensated by being the life of the party, the guy everyone had to hang with to have a good time. The guy who would fuck a man’s girl then embarrass him in a fight when he confronted me about it. The guy who had enough blonds, brunettes, redheads, and ‘kinky twists’ numbers in my phone to screw one a night for the rest of my life.

Since my Nana died, I wasn’t close to anyone. Well, except my good friend, Bruiser. Jeb and Channing were cool too, but Bruiser was like my brother growing up. The brute was built solid, and he treated his friendships the way he did his gym regimen—he was dedicated. He was the only person I had a family-like connection with.

I had to be reading too much into this brief encounter with Jayne. There was no way I should feel this comfortable with a woman I was just getting acquainted with. Yet, instead of leading a drinking game, dancing, or securing my afterparty lay, I was sitting next to Jayne, complimenting her.

  Maybe it was the liquor.

But what was different about the liquor tonight?

“Cool. She’s beautiful,” I said of Kitana instead of saying just how beautiful I thought Jayne was. She could deduce that I was complimenting her since I mentioned she looked like Kitana, but I didn’t like the way I was gushing over the woman in my crosshairs. Dropping corny lines were new to me, and from the smirk upturning her lips, I wasn’t very good at giving compliments.

Finally, she unleashed a giggle, relieving the tension between us. “Thanks. I never thought that I
resembled her, but I love the game. It’s a national treasure. I’ll never get rid of it.”

The beauty of her smile rode all over me. If I weren’t paying such close attention to her, I would miss the subtlety of her attraction to me.

“Well, maybe after we leave here, we can play a game at your place,” I said, taking a long shot.

  Jayne smiled. “Maybe.”

We laughed, talked, and mingled for hours. We had hung out in the same circle for months, but tonight was the first time I took the time to get to know her. Her confidence level was through the roof. I liked that Jayne didn’t tiptoe around subjects to impress me, which was refreshing. She also picked up on every time my eyes shifted from hers and landed on another chick’s ass or tits. She was unbothered by it and didn’t even raise a brow. Her confidence was such a turn-on that halfway through our conversation, I couldn’t see anyone else in the room but her. She had my full attention as I was sure I was sitting across from the girl of my dreams.

“If we were to go to my house and play, you know I would end up on top, right?” she said.

On top? My mind immediately went left. “So, you think you’ll end up on top? Explain to me how you intend to do that.” I stared into her brown eyes as I awaited her reply.

“I just will. Believe me. I always do.” It was hard to miss the seductive inflection of her voice. She was reeling me in with the sound.

We talked a little while longer before I stood and excused myself. I was ready to test out this theory of her ending up on top. I held my hand out to her and said, “Let me see your phone.”

She reached for her purse but hesitated. “Why?”
