I turn when a scared woman comes walking toward me. Her hands are noticeably shaking.
“I’m Makayla,” she says quietly.
“Krista is missing. I need to know anything you have on her whereabouts,” I practically growl out toward her.
She looks shocked and her face turns pale.
“We just had coffee and someone in a SUV picked her up. She hopped into the vehicle like she trusted him, but then he sped out of the parking lot pretty fast,” she rushes to say.
“What did he look like?” I ask in confusion.
“He looked liked you. Well, not like exactly like you, but he was wearing that vest thing you have on. Ì didn’t get a good look at his face.”
Rage builds up inside of me.
“I need you to come with me. If he thinks that you will recognize him, he will no doubt come for you. Get your shit,” I say. I know that I’m scaring her, but there’s nothing that I can do about that now.
She nods frantically, probably noticing the look in my eyes, runs into a room and is out just as quickly with her purse.
I bring her back to the club and tell Prez everything that she told me. She nods, confirming every word.
“Fuck,” Prez curses.
Damien comes in looking terrible. I can tell that he doesn’t have good news.
“Any word on Ella?” he asks.
Damien shakes his head. “No Ella. No fucking sign of Cutter either.”
“Does anyone have a picture of Cutter? Mckayla, I need you to try and see if you recognize him,” Prez says in a strained voice.
I know that if she’s recognizes him, even a little bit, Cutter is a dead man walking.
Tech pulls out a photo from his laptop and shows it to her.
She nods. “That looks like him. I didn’t fully see his face, but he’s roughly the same size.”
The room rings out with curses and the rage begins to build behind every brother.
“We have been played,” Stitch says.
“I want every man searching the streets and the area around it. Leave no alley unchecked,” Prez hollers, and everyone scrambles to their bikes.
“Dragons are headed this way.” Bullet says when he comes back into the room.
Prez nods his head. “Stitch, Shield, Trigger, don’t let any woman leave your sight. We can’t have anyone else go missing.”
They nod and take their positions.
I head out beside Bullet as we try to find our woman.
Krista
I pass out from the drugs that are still in my system. I wasn’t able to stay awake for long.
I look at the door when I realize that a noise woke me.
The woman is back in the spot she was before, but I can’t see what damage was done to her.
I look at Danielle and Katy. They are still there, but I don’t know if they were taken while I was passed out and I just didn’t hear them come in.
The door opens and I see the same four men carrying in another body.
When they place her on another chain on the wall, I look around the room and notice four other empty chains. Fuck, what are they planning?
Are they trying to fill them all?
When they get the new girl up, the biker who spoke to me before looks at me with an evil smile and winks.
They leave the room as I get a look at the woman they brought in.
I can’t help but gasp when I see who it is.
“Ella?!” I shout.
I hear a whimper, and Danielle and Katy are looking at Ella with wide eyes.
The other woman turns around. She looks bruised and there’s dried up blood on her face.
“Who are you?” I rasp out.
“Camilla,” she says in a soft, low voice.
“Do you know what you are doing here? Or what any of us are doing here?” I ask.
“I’m not sure what you guys are doing here. They only ever told me that I was getting friends soon. As for me, wrong place wrong time I guess,” she says with a distant look on her face.
I swallow hard tying not to panic.
“Where do they take you when they drag you from the room?” I ask, not wanting to know the answer, but also needing too.
I hear her take a shaky breath. “They call me their toy. The last time, they said it’s a shame that I’m the only one they were allowed to play with. Whatever the reason is that you guys are here, the boss has told them not to touch you. They grumbled about how they would break you if given the chance.”
I feel the blood drain from my face. I know that she hasn’t gone through anything good and I can’t imagine the nightmare she has been living.
“Who is the big boss?” I whisper, hoping that there isn’t a guard on the other side of the door that could hear me.
“I have no idea. He never showed me his face,” she whispers back.
I hear a moan. I look over and see Ella slowly coming to.
When she tenses and lifts her head, she looks around the room just like I did.
“Krista? What are we doing here?” she rasps out. I can tell that she’s trying not to panic.
“I wish I could tell you, but all I know is that the Devil’s Souls are behind it. Four of them have come in here a couple times, but they won’t say what their plan is,” I tell her, and I watch as the blood drains from her face.
“Those fuckers just don’t know how to stay dead. Hiding like fucking cowards,” she grumbles.
I nod my head in agreement.
Before anything else can be said, the door once again opens. This time, standing in front of us, is a guy that hasn’t come in before.
He has only two bikers following behind him.
“Hello my princesses,” he says in a deep, growly voice.
“Who are you?” I ask, trying not to show any fear.
He lets out a chuckle. “It’s not all that important. I just came to make sure that two of my trophies have made it here. You see, I’m starting a collection. The kind that gives me a piece of club royalty from every club connected to the Vicious Snakes. Once all my trophies are here, we can have some fun.”
With that, he leaves the room.
I stare at him in disbelief. This man is crazy.
“Holy shit, we are fucked. How many more women are they going to take? It’s safe to assume that they are after club princesses,” Ella says with a strained voice.
Katy cries out. “There looks to be four more chains, so I can only assume four more.”
“What the hell are we doing here then? We aren’t club royalty!” Danielle cries out.
Katy looks at Danielle. “You don’t know that. You said that you never knew your father. Your mother kept his identity a secret.”
Danielle looks at her in shock. “How would these fuckers know who my father is if I don’t?”
I look at her with a sad smile. “It’s safe to say that they have been working on this plan for a long time.”
Everyone goes silent and absorbs the information we are given.
Please let our men find us.
Chapter Eleven
Bullet
It has been two days since Krista and Ella went missing.
The club is going frantic with the search and trying not to lose hope.
Fuck, I just got my woman. I can’t lose her.
We aren’t any closer in finding who is after her, and it seems like Cutter has dropped off the face of the planet.
The Wicked Dragons are here trying to help, and we have extended the search to other cities.
We have been slowly widening our search since we haven’t seemed to locate them in town. We have knocked and searched every inch of this place.
My phone rings. It’s an old friend that I haven’t spoken to in years.
“Bullet here,” I grunt out.
“Bullet. It’s Casanova. We have a situation. M-my daughter has gone missing,” he lets out with a pained voice.
“We have the same situation. My woman and a friend have gone miss
ing too,” I tell him, and I hear him suck in a breath on the other line.
“What is happening?” he asks out loud, but I’m not sure how I’m supposed to answer that.
“I wish I had a fucking clue. I’m at the Vicious Snakes clubhouse with the Wicked Dragons trying to locate two missing club princesses,” I tell him.
I hear a sharp intake of breath.
“Fuck, do you think that’s it? Club princesses? It’s well known what clubs aren’t at rival with the Vicious Snakes or Wicked Dragons,” he states.
I turn my head to look at the two presidents in deep discussion with the club techs.
When I catch their eyes, I put my phone down to tell them what I have found out.
“The club princess for the Stormy Knights has gone missing.”
I watch as they both curse and fight the rage inside of them.
“We need to call every club that is connected to ours and let them know to keep their princesses on lockdown. It is apparent now that none of our allies are safe” Derek says.
Everyone nods, and people get busy on their phones calling all the clubs that we aren’t rivaled with.
I put the phone back to my ear.
“Casanova. We are contacting every club that’s either connected to us or are simply not our rivals. We can’t chance any more club princesses going missing. We need every able body on lookout and every princess on lockdown.”
“I’ll get right on it. Keep me in the know, we will figure out a plan,” he grunts out before hanging up.
Pyro walks up to me looking as terrible as I do.
“Fuck man, we’ve got to find her. Why can’t we find them? Who the fuck has them?” he says angrily.
I shake my head. “I don’t know, man, but there is some sort of plan in place. We will find out who did this and we will destroy them all.”
“I can’t imagine the kind of danger that these women are in. We need to get them out before anything bad happens to them,” he says.
I can only nod my head in agreement.
Krista
These last two days have been fucking long. They come in and slap us around for their own amusement.
I wish I had the strength to go after these fuckers, but I think that’s why we are given minimal food and water, so that we don’t gain any strength to fight back.
They have taken Camilla a couple more times, and my heart hurts for what that woman is going through. Every time she comes back, she looks a little more broken and hopeless.
Today the coward, Cutter, finally shows his face with an evil smile.
“Miss me?” he drawls out.
I glare at him. “You’re a fucking coward. You will get what’s coming to you,” I say, venom lacing my words.
He chuckles darkly.
“They’ll have to find us first. They didn’t know that they had a traitor in their midst. This plan has been years in the making. You think that the Devil’s Souls were all gone? Maybe the stupid fuckers who couldn’t stick to the plan are, but they deserved what they got.”
I narrow my eyes at him. “We will get out of this and I will have the pleasure of killing you myself.”
“So much hope for someone who will never see her family, or men, again,” he snarls.
“You all think that you are smart, but the Devil’s Souls are nothing but trash. They will find us. All of us. And you will beg for death!” Ella taunts out.
The woman is bringing out inner strength that I didn’t know she had.
It takes a lot to be the princess of a club, and I’m glad to see that strength in her.
We are going to need each other to get out of this.
Once Cutter leaves, we look at each other.
“One of us needs to get out of here. If the location is so secluded that our men can’t find us, we need to work on getting one of us free to alert the club,” I tell her.
She nods her head.
I look at Katy and Danielle who are doing their best to stay strong.
“Katy, I think it has to be you. As far as we know, you aren’t a club princess and were just brought with Danielle because you were with her at the time of the kidnapping. We need to get you out of here before the big fucker decide to let them use you as a toy like Camilla” I state, cringing when I glance over at Camilla. She just looks at me with a sad smile.
“I don’t wish this on anybody. I’ll do what I can to help, but the consequences could be dire if she’s caught,” Camilla warns.
I watch as Katy pulls in a deep breath. “I’ll do whatever I can. We have to be prepared in case no one ever finds us.”
The door opens with a bang. Two bikers come in. One of them has a woman over his shoulders. I close my eyes and shake my head. I can’t believe that they got another one.
We need to do something to stop this now.
They chain the woman up and leave without acknowledging us.
We all look at the woman, and I can’t help but pale when I see Starla, the Stormy Knights princess, laying on the ground. She has bruises covering her arms and face. It looks like she put up quite a fight.
I turn to the other woman.
“Enough is enough. We need to get Katy out of here.”
“Let’s do it,” Ella says firmly.
Chapter Twelve
Pyro
I can’t fucking sleep or eat. All that I can do is try and figure out where my woman is.
This is fucking killing me.
I’m two towns over, looking for any possible sign.
Our search has broadened with the added missing princess. As far as I know, the rest are on lock down.
All that I can think is that this wasn’t something that was happening out of the blue. There’s too much going on to deny that these abductions weren’t meticulously planned.
How could someone take three princesses and hide them where no one knows where they are?
Bullet went to another town over to search. We were side by side the last few days, but we needed to split up.
I have Stitch with me as we cruise through town.
“We just have to keep on going,” he says gruffly.
It pains me to know that we haven’t found anything here.
A piece of hope dies with me each time we come up empty.
We head towards the highway to move on to the next town. We are only on the road for thirty minutes when I see someone running from the bushes and tripping over their feet.
I have a feeling in my gut, so I signal Stitch and slow to a stop.
When we slow down, the person tenses at the sound of our bikes coming near and he or she slowly turns around.
My heart stops in my chest when I see a very weak and beaten looking Katy.
“Katy, what the fuck?” Stitch growls out.
“Oh my god! Pyro? Stitch?” she says like she can’t believe that it’s really us.
“What the fuck happened to you?!” I ask.
She starts crying and trying to pull herself together. Stitch wraps his arms around her.
“Calm down. Let’s get out of here and we will check into the nearest motel,” he says.
I nod my head, and we head back to the town we were just in. I walk into a motel to check in, paying cash. I don’t want anyone that’s not a friend to know that I’m here.
I go to the store across the street to buy first aid supplies to help clean and treat any wounds that Katy has and get something for her to eat since I had noticed how weak she was.
It takes a few minutes to let her cries subside before she’s able to speak.
When she does, my heart stops cold.
“I just ran. We had made a plan to get me out to come find you guys, believing that you would know the general direction of where to look. I don’t know how much time we have left before another club princess is taken. We can’t let them take any more,” she says brokenly.
“What do you mean we? How do you know about the princesses?” I ask.
My heart beats hard in my chest.
“Danielle, Krista, Ella, Camilla, and Starla have all been kept in the same room as me for days,” she says.
Stitch stills and I start pacing the room.
“Tell us everything you know,” I growl out. I don’t want to scare her, but I can’t control the emotion that’s flooding my body.
This is the first piece of information we have even come close to having since they went missing.
Katy tells us everything. She tells us how she was headed back home to her grandmother’s funeral with Danielle when they were run off the road by a couple of bikers. Then they were knocked out and woke up in a room with this Camilla woman who isn’t a club princess and seems to be the Devil’s Souls toy. The women were afraid that Katy was going to become one too since she wasn’t a princess.
When she tells us that they think that Danielle may be a club princess because she never knew her dad, I make sure to get Tech to look for her mom and get the information on her dad out because, if Danielle’s mom kept who her father was to keep Danielle safe, it’s no longer working. She will now need club protection.
Krista and Ella devised a plan to take down the guard that brings them food and steal one of his keys to unlock Katy.
Katy had pretended to still be chained up while my woman took a beating for knocking out the guard when they were caught.
They waited until the place went quiet and they were sure that the other bikers were sleeping, hoping that only one was on watch.
Starla was the Stormy Knights princess that had gone missing the other day, drawing us to the conclusion that all club royalty would need to be on lockdown at their nearest clubs.
There hasn’t been reports of another one missing, but that’s because we have them well hidden.
Katy was able to get out when the guard opened the door to taunt them like he does every night.
It doesn’t sound like these guys were smart enough to randomize their check ins because Katy said that she and the girls used the Devil’s Souls routine to decide the right time for her to escape.
I grab my phone and call my Prez.
“Prez. We have Katy. It seems that she and Danielle were intercepted and they both were being held captive with Ella, Krista, and Starla.”
