I tell Prez where we are, and he starts sending a bunch of bikers from each club here in vehicles since the Devil’s Souls will be watching for bikes. I am glad that we parked in the back. Maybe they won’t have enough sense to look back there.
We make a plan to search around where we found Katy. She doesn’t think that she had ran too far before we located her, so we have a general direction.
I make a call to Bullet.
“Got anything?” he grunts out.
“Yeah brother. I think we have them. You need to head out this way discreetly.”
He doesn’t need anymore information. He just hangs up saying that he will be here as soon as he can.
These fuckers are going down.
Krista
Katy got out.
It was easy to pick up on the routine they had. That was stupid on their part.
My whole body aches from being kicked, but it was worth it to get her out.
The door slams open and I know they will have noticed she’s gone.
The guy from the first day looks to where Katy was and stills.
“Where the fuck is she?” he growls out.
Ella looks at him innocently. “Who?”
“The bitch that was about to become our new toy,” he grinds out.
I can’t help but laugh at the fact we got her out in time and that we had caught onto their plan to use her.
He looks at me threateningly. “Where is she?”
“Someone came and took her in the middle of the night. Maybe you have a greedy asshole on your hands who wants her for yourself.” The lie easily spills from my lips.
I notice his jaw twitch. “You’re lying!”
I shake my head. “How else would she have left? We are fucking chained to the wall! One of you had to have let her out!” I yell at him.
“Fuck!” he yells before he storms out of the room slamming the door behind him.
We all chuckle.
“I can’t believe you came up with that shit so fast,” Starla says amazed.
“It’s better that they think that than think she got away. It will give her a better of a chance to reach one of our clubs. We told her which clubs are our friends, so she knows which clubs are safe since we have no idea where we are and which town we are in,” I say with a painful shrug.
“All we have to do is wait,” Ella says, confident in Katy.
I nod my head and close my eyes.
“She can do it,” I whisper to the room and they all hum in agreement. I have to have faith in her.
Chapter Thirteen
Bullet
I get the call from Pyro that he has information on our woman. I don’t get him to explain anything over the phone because I can’t risk anyone intercepting our conversation.
We rent a SUV and Crash, Kid, and Ink all head out with me.
We made sure to have our bikes hidden until we can get to them. Our women are more important right now.
We pull into the motel where Prez just paid for every room under a different name.
The whole place is flooded with bikers in every room.
I don’t know who many are, but its obvious that they are all getting prepared to attack.
I head into the room that Pyro said he was in and see a shaken looking Katy.
I know that she’s a friend of Olivia’s, but I have no idea what she’s doing here.
“What do you know?” I ask as soon as I enter the room.
That’s when Katy tells the whole story with three presidents in the room.
Rage and tension fill the room.
This is some sort of sick fucking game and, when I hear the part about trophies, I have to clench my fists.
This guy is trying to build some sort of collection.
Sick fucking assholes are going to get what’s coming to them.
Torch comes into the room. He looks detached but he’s here to help. I know this situation has to be hard for him.
“Let’s make a plan to get the girls before they try to move them. Once they notice Katy gone, I’m not sure how much time we will have before they try to escape with all of them,” he says.
We spend the evening coming up with a plan and making sure that we have enough weapons to ambush them.
We are close, I can feel it.
Krista
It has been hours since the Devil’s Souls found Katy gone. I can feel their panic as they search frantically for her.
The big boss comes into the room for the second time. I can’t help the sliver of fear that runs down my spine in his presence.
“It seems we have a runaway,” he states sweeping his eyes over all of us.
Not one of us bothers answering him. There is no way that we are going to agree. I just hope that Katy was able to find someone and get to safety.
“I don’t know what you guys did, but we will find her. She’s not going to like the consequences of running away from me. Just be glad that I don’t want my trophies touched. Otherwise, I would let my men at you,” he growls.
I can only be glad that he hasn’t given the bikers permission to touch us because I don’t know how any of us would have handled that. There’s always a way you think you would handle it, but it is something that will leave you broken and beat down no matter what. I just have to look at Camilla and see the light fading from her eyes to know what it’s doing to her.
I make a mental note that once we are out of here I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that she gets the help she needs.
That woman is never again going to feel alone and broken like she does now because she will be under my protection.
A man comes running into the room looking panicked.
“Boss, we have company!” he yells frantically.
The man curses. “Who is here? I’ll deal with them later. I’m talking to my trophies,” he says dismissively.
The guy shakes his head rapidly.
“No, boss, you are going to want to see this. This isn’t a friend.”
The boss looks at him with hard, cold eyes. “Who the fuck would come onto my land?”
I can’t help but smile and, when I look at the other women with me, they all smile too. I have a feeling that I know who it is, and I couldn’t be any happier to know that they found us.
Before any words can be spoken, there are banging noises and gun shots ringing around downstairs.
The boss has his right hand with him, and the other bikers make a line in front of the boss to protect him.
I can’t help but shake my head. Fools.
When the noises get closer, each one of the bikers grabs each one of us women by the hair and holds a gun to our heads.
I don’t let the fear show. It’s obvious that these guys aren’t going down without a fight and wouldn’t have a problem taking us down with them.
The boss is in leaning against the wall on the opposite side of where the door is.
When the door opens, my heart beats faster because I see Pyro, Bullet, my dad, the Vicious Snake’s Prez along with another club President, and a ton of other bikers right behind them.
When they see us, they visibly relax until they see the guns pointing at our head.
Damien steps forward but the boss lets out a “tsk.”
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you. Just one more step and I will have my men here blow each and every one of their heads off,” he says.
I move my eyes over the room and notice that Camilla is the only woman that doesn’t have a gun to her head, but she’s not as weak as they all think she is. They may have tried to break her, but now there is a fight in her eyes that I didn’t see before.
Maybe it’s because we have more men on our side and her hope is in full force now.
She looks around the room like she’s calculating something, and I just wonder what she’s planning.
“Charles,” my dad spits out.
The guy behind this whole thing smirks at my dad, Derek, and the other guy who I can as
sume is Starla’s father since he glares at the guy holding a gun to her head.
“Nice to see you, Dante, and don’t let me forget Derek and Scott. Long time no see.”
I look between the four of them in confusion.
There’s something else going on.
“Why the fuck would you take our daughters?” Derek spits out.
The guy laughs humourlessly.
“You know that I’m a collector. I had decided what better to collect than the daughters of the men responsible for my sister’s death?”
“That wasn’t our fault,” Scott grinds out.
“She took off on her own and denied club protection,” Derek says.
“You should have kept her safe!” Charles yells.
My dad shakes his head. “We can’t force club protection on someone who doesn’t want it. She went out and was murdered by your enemies.”
“We had the same enemies!” Charles looks close to losing his patience.
I don’t like the look on his face.
“We didn’t have the same enemies. You went off on your own. We didn’t want a part of what you were doing. We don’t mix illegal work in our clubs. You can’t fault us for that,” my dad says.
“You guys were nothing but a bunch of pussies. You don’t deserve to be presidents. This is even better. You guys get to watch as I have your daughters killed,” he says evilly.
“Always trying to take what doesn’t belong to you,” my dad murmurs.
Charles raises his hand to point it at Derek and I can’t help the scream that bubbles out.
I hear Ella’s scream along with mine.
There are so many shots firing off that everything becomes a blur of chaos.
The hand that’s holding my hair falls away and I see a body slump beside me.
I look to see the guy who was holding a gun to my head lifeless before me. I look around the room to find Derek.
Please don’t let him be hurt.
When my eyes land on Derek, he’s hovering over where Charles was standing. I see Charles’ body on the floor and it’s not moving. I’m hoping that he’s dead or at least knocked out so that they can pay him back for all the shit that he has put us through.
Derek yells over his shoulder with his arm raised in the air, and I pale at the sight.
“We need to get her to the hospital quickly or she’s not going to make it,” he yells, and I turn to see Camilla on the floor whimpering. She’s in obvious pain, but I have no idea what happened.
I startle when someone touches my leg, and I look over to see Bullet and Pyro. They are both wearing matching expressions of worry and relief.
I relax when I see that it’s them and that they are unchaining my leg from the wall.
“You found us,” I say with a sob of relief throwing my arms around both of them. They each put an arm around me.
“Yeah, baby. There was nothing that could have stopped us from trying to find you,” Pyro says.
Tears fill my eyes. For a moment I was worried that we weren’t going to get out of this, but my men found a way to us.
“Katy?” I ask.
“She’s fine. She’s at the motel with Stitch. He and Pyro were on the road about to leave town when she came running out of the ditch. Damn fucking good timing if you ask me,” Bullet says.
“Let’s get you out of this hell hole,” Pyro murmurs.
They help me stand since my legs are weak and shaky from not using them for days, not to mention from all the bruises.
When I get up, I look around and see that they did rush Camilla off to the hospital. Fuck, I hope that she’s okay. I know that I will be heading there as soon as I get something to eat and clean off the filth of the last few days.
Damien has Ella in his arms. She doesn’t bother to protest since he looks determined to carry her out of there.
I see the other women being unchained. When Casanova and my dad help Starla and Danielle, they look at her like they have seen a ghost.
“It can’t be,” Casanova whispers.
“Fuck, who’s your father, sweetheart?” my dad asks.
She shakes her head. “I don’t know; I never knew my father. That asshole knows more about my life than I do.”
My dad helps her up and looks me in the eye to ask the silent question if I’m alright. I nod my head, and he focuses on Danielle.
We all walk out of what I now see is a warehouse of some sort, which would explain why the room is so big.
There are papers all over a desk that I notice Tech is gathering.
“Fuck, these must have been the other princesses. He knew everything about them. He has been watching you guys for a long fucking time,” he curses loudly.
“Bring everything back to the Vicious Snakes’ clubhouse. We are going to need to have a big meeting. Call up all the other presidents whose daughters he was watching. We need everyone to know what was going on so that we can take better precautions. We can’t be too careful until we know that all the Devil’s Souls are dealt with,” my dad says, and Tech nods his head.
I’m going to be protected even more than when I was a child, but I can’t argue against it since I was alone and taken. For this man to know our life with such great detail is unnerving.
I fall asleep as soon as I’m on Bullet’s lap in the vehicle.
Pyro is beside us with a hand on my legs.
I’m safe with my two men.
Where I belong.
Chapter Fourteen
Pyro
It’s late when we finally make it back to the clubhouse.
I didn’t want to spend another moment in that town or motel.
Krista slept the whole way, not even flinching when I picked her up and carried her to my room at the clubhouse.
A relief like I have never known before filled me when I had seen my woman in that room. She was alive and we had found her.
Doc and Olivia spend the evening looking over the girls, making sure that they are alright and didn’t have any broken bones or internal injuries.
When they look over at Krista, she barely wakes up, only to take some pain killers and tell us that they didn’t harm her in a sexual way.
It’s hard to have to discuss that, but we need the full story. We don’t have it all yet, but I have a feeling that we will once all the clubs are present.
We have to prepare to have a lot of bikers in our town.
Usually we have a yearly get together with drinking, a BBQ, and games. It’s basically a non-stop party. I know that the other women haven’t been a part of it yet, but that’s because they have been pregnant, and their men didn’t want to take them out there where a bunch of people are drinking.
This is some serious shit that went down and I have a feeling that it’s not all over.
There has to be more Devil’s Souls that he was working with because there is no way that he and four bikers were able to capture two women and four princesses who are usually always with a guard.
Except our guard turned out to be a fucking traitor.
I’m pissed at the fact that Cutter is still out there. I need him to be found. I have a feeling that he is hiding out with the Devil’s Souls that we haven’t yet located.
I’m not going to rest until I know that he’s found.
Once we had found out that Krista had no broken bones or internal injuries, Bullet and I make quick work of cleaning her up. There’s no way that she can stand up, so I head into the bathroom and run the water in the tub. Sure, it’s not as big as mine, but at least one of us can clean her off.
Bullet does the job of cleaning her off while I change the sheets since they are covered with her blood.
I grab her one of my shirts to dress her in. I’m thankful that she left a few items of her clothing here so that I am able to hand her some underwear to put on.
Bullet carries her out of the bathroom when I’m done making the bed and putting her clean clothes out.
I dress her and then Bullet and I take o
ur spot on each side of her.
That night, I fall asleep with our woman in between Pyro and me. I finally rest for the first time in days.
Bullet
Krista is still out like a light when I wake up in the morning. I make sure to grab her more pain killers and a bottle of water for when she wakes up.
I know that she’s going to be in as much pain as she was in last night.
I clench my fists and try to bury my rage when I think about the beating she took and the beatings that all of them took.
All of the women were chained to fucking walls and covered with bruises.
I head downstairs since Pyro is with Krista, and I see Derek drinking coffee at the table.
I nod my head at him.
“How is the other woman?” I ask, feeling bad that I don’t know her name.
“She’s resting. They had to knock her out. She spent most of the night having nightmares and screaming. It was bad; she went through something that no person should ever have to go through,” he says grimly.
“Fucking brave, that’s what she is,” I say grabbing coffee and joining him at the table.
“Torch is with her now. He didn’t want to leave her side. Anytime he let her hand go, she cried. I’ll forever be in her debt for what she did for me,” he says.
I nod my head in understanding.
I didn’t understand why Charles didn’t have a guard grab that woman, but she took full advantage of his folly.
When Charles aimed that gun at Derek and was about to fire, she jumped on him as he shot and, no doubt, took the bullet for Derek.
Charles was shot, but the shot wasn’t in the right place to kill him.
I know that he’s in the basement in one of the rooms waiting for what’s going to happen to him.
“The other clubs will be here in an hour. Go make sure that your woman is ready. I would rather have all the girls explain what happened only one time and not have to relive it over and over again.
I nod my head and make my way upstairs to wake Krista.
I don’t know if I’m ready to hear what they know, but I know that we are all going to need to.
