“You’d better open that door before she breaks it down,” Savannah said, giving me a warm smile.

“Are you ready to do this?” I asked, returning her smile. I loved her so much, sometimes it was almost overwhelming. I never imagined I could be as happy as I was, right at that moment.

“As I’ll ever be,” she sighed, as her smile widened.

“I love you, Mrs. Reynolds,” I said, leaning in kissing her softly on the lips.

“I love you too,” she replied, smiling at me once more. “Now, let’s do this.”

Giving her a nod, I walked to the door, turning the key, finally letting everyone into the living room.

“About time,” Jolie grumbled as she walked through the door, but stopped the moment she saw the large Christmas tree I had put up in the living room, along with all the other decorations that had transformed Sylvie’s living room into the perfect Christmas wonderland.. “Oh my God, Seth, this is amazing.”

“It wasn’t all me,” I said as I glanced over at Savannah, and she just smiled at me. I don’t think I ever seen her looking happier.

“Sav,” Jared said as he walked into the room carrying Teddy. “This is perfect. Thank you so much.”

Then he turned to Teddy and pointed out all the shiny decorations.

“Hey, Teddy,” he said, holding the little boy close. “Did you see what Aunty Savannah and Uncle Seth did for you? Isn’t it perfect?”

His reply was a loud gurgle, a squeal and a hand clap.

“I think he approves,” he said, smiling up at Savannah once more.

“Okay, everyone!” I called as I set the camera on timer. “We have ninety seconds to get into place.”

I quickly positioned everyone for the photo, and we all stood for a moment waiting for the camera to take the photo. I had it timed perfectly.

“Okay,” I said when there was ten seconds left. “When I say cheese, everyone smile. In five, four, three, two, Savannah is pregnant!”

Seven pair of eyes turned to me, just as the camera flashed, and I caught their reaction perfectly in picture for us to have for the rest of our lives.

“OH MY, GOD!” Jolie and Sylvie squealed in unison as my dad and Jared both hugged me, while Sylvie, Jolie and Callie hurried to Savannah.

Everyone else just cheered and waited for their turn to congratulate us.

It had been super hard to keep the secret. Savannah was already seventeen weeks pregnant, and her bump was starting to show more each day. But we had decided that it would be perfect if we kept it a secret until Christmas eve.

“I guess my boy has finally grown up,” Sylvie said when she finally got her chance to give me a hug.

“I guess I have,” I smiled, giving her a kiss on the cheek. “And I know my baby is so blessed that it will get to call you Grandma. If that’s okay?”

“I would be honoured,” Sylvie replied as she wrapped her arms around me. “I am so proud of you, Seth. I just wanted you to know that.”

“Thank you, Sylvie,” I replied, as I held her tightly. “But you know, I would never have made it, if I didn’t have you in my life.”

“It was my pleasure,” she sniffed as tears danced in her eyes. “But you and Jolie are my heart, just as much as the three boys are. I love all my five babies so very much.”

“We love you too,” I replied, giving her one last hug.

“Are you happy, Seth?” Savannah asked as we lay in the darkness of our bedroom; her head resting on my chest. We were spending the night in Simon’s house, which was where we spent most weekends when we were back in Pullman. It was literally just a two-minute walk from Sylvie’s.

“More than I ever dreamed possible,” I replied pulling her closer to me. “I never thought life could be so perfect.”

“I was thinking,” she said as she lifted her head and looked down at me. “When the baby comes, I think we should move back to Pullman.”

“You want to move back here?” I asked, surprised by her request. “How come?”

“It’s just,” she sighed, then gave me a smile. “Growing up, I never really had a family. I want little bump to have the best family in the world, and I want them to be in his life every single day. Simon said we can move in here permanently if we wanted to. It would be so perfect to be close to everyone.”

“I would love that too,” I replied, giving her a broad smile, before I kissed her lips. “I guess we’re moving back to Pullman.”

“Awesome,” she beamed as she rested her head down onto my chest once more.

I smiled to myself as I realised how lucky I truly was. Despite everything that had happened in my past, life was pretty amazing now.

But then something hit me; something Savannah had said when she was talking.

“Savannah,” I said as my heart began to race in my chest a little.

“Umhmm,” she replied, without lifting her head, but I could feel her smiling against my chest.

“When you were talking about the baby just now,” I said, trying to contain my excitement. “You said you wanted them in his life every day.”

“Yeah,” she replied, but still she didn’t react.

“Why did you say his?” I asked, unable to keep the smile from my face.

“Because that’s what you should call your son,” she said, finally lifting her head, looking down at me, giving me the biggest smile.

“It’s a… we’re having a…” I stuttered, unable to even say the words.

“Yes,” she replied as her smile widened. “I was going to wait till tomorrow to tell you, But it’s after midnight, so it’s officially Christmas day. It’s a boy.”

“I jumped up in the bed and threw my arms around Savannah, hugging her so tightly.

“I’m going to have a son!” I exclaimed as happy tears danced in my eyes.

“So, you’re happy?” She asked, giving me a worried look.

“I couldn’t be happier,” I said, giving her a kiss on the lips. “Thank you so much.”

“Happy Christmas, Seth,” she said hugging me tightly.

“Happy Christmas, Savannah,” I replied before I kissed her again.
