The Pet Stylist and the Playboy

“That’s what I used to think, but I was wrong. I do fall in love. I have. With you.”
He got up from the chair and moved to sit beside me on the couch. I could feel the heat emanating off his body. He took my hand in his and laced our fingers together.
“I’m in love with you. I love you. I’ve known it for a long time; I just didn’t know what to call it. I haven’t even been tempted to sleep with anyone else, even though I’ve been helping Blaze at the studio on weekends. If that doesn’t prove I’m in love with you, I don’t know what will.”
My mouth quirked. “I’d say that’s a pretty good indication, when we’re talking about you.”
“Question is.” He stopped. Swallowed. “How do you feel about me?”
Although something inside me screamed to protect myself, I had to be honest. I’d been miserable without Dante and wondering how he really felt about me had been keeping me up nights. I’d even kissed Hugh, hopeful that I might feel something for him and to prove what I felt for Dante was no more than a crush. It hadn’t worked, and Hugh had kindly pointed out that I needed to screw my head on straight.
I was standing at the edge of a cliff and had to make that jump.
“I’ve always loved you, Dante. I probably always will.”
The way his face lit up had my stomach leaping.
“Do you? I mean, it isn’t just a crush?”
“It’s not just a crush.” I put my palms to his cheeks. “I promise. I love you, but I never thought you could return the feeling. Whether it was because you were incapable somehow or I just wasn’t for you.”
I gasped when Dante leaned in and kissed me, hard.
“I want to do so much more than that, but I’m worried I’ll scare you off,” he said, so close our noses were touching.
“You won’t scare me off.” My voice sounded strange, maybe because all my blood had rushed to my cock.
Dante tugged me onto his lap, and I straddled him. When the bulges in our pants brushed together, it was like an electric shock went through me. I met him in an open-mouthed kiss.
“I don’t want to say I love you and then just fuck you,” Dante said against my lips. “This isn’t about sex.”
I groaned and pushed my tongue into his mouth. We kissed for long moments. My hips moved of their own volition, undulating against Dante, rubbing the hardness under our denim together. Dante reached between us and unzipped his jeans, and I did the same with mine, taking myself out. His fingers wrapped around my cock felt amazing, and even better when he pushed our erections together in his fist.
I kissed him deeply, pressing against him, his twisting motion on our cocks taking me higher and higher.
“Need you,” he murmured into my mouth before moving to latch his teeth onto my neck. I cried out, body seizing in pleasure as I came all over his hand and dick.
He whimpered and pushed urgently against me, as I sucked on his earlobe and then bit it. Dante came with a gasp.
“Oh, God,” he moaned, sagging back into the couch. “That was awesome, and I’d come a couple hours ago.”
I pulled back and looked at him. “When?”
“In the shower. Just sitting near you made me so damn hard.”
Knowing he’d wanted me so badly had me getting hard again.
I pulled off my shirt and tossed it, then stood and took off the rest of my clothes, leaving just the black thong.
“Holy fuck,” Dante whispered. “Turn around.” I did, exposing my ass cheeks with the strip of lace above them. Dante grabbed my hips and pulled me closer, then cupped my ass with his hands and squeezed. “So fucking sexy. God, I want to bury my face in this ass.”
I shivered. The next thing I knew, Dante stood and scooped me into his arms. He kissed me, heading for the stairs.
“I want you, Isaac, so bad.”
I buried my hands in his hair as we kissed, bumping into walls as we slowly made our way upstairs. When Dante set my feet on the floor, I wasted no time getting him undressed, kissing every inch of skin I uncovered.
Dante moaned, hands still kneading my ass. When his finger slipped between my cheeks, I moaned into his shoulder.
“On the bed,” Dante said, and I turned and crawled onto the mattress. I paused, looking at his hard cock standing up from his perfect body. My mouth watered, and I licked my lips. Dante groaned and stepped forward.
I opened my mouth, taking him in deep, and started sucking on him, loving everything about it. My hands wandered, trailing over his chest and abs, circling his nipples, and tugging at the dark hairs beneath his navel. Dante took my hair down from its bun and ran his fingers through it as I worked him with my mouth until he was pulling at the strands.
“Turn over.” The order, raspy with desire, brought precum to the tip of my cock. I rolled over onto my belly and gasped when Dante pulled the string of my thong to the side. The first swipe of his tongue had me trembling.
“Fu-uck,” I moaned into the mattress.
“Your tight little hole winks at me when I kiss it,” Dante said, voice muffled.
“Oh, God.” I sucked air between my teeth when he swirled the tip of his tongue and it penetrated me.
Dante held my ass cheeks open as he slurped and nibbled at my rim, making me dizzy with need.
“I need in there.”
“I want you in there. Please, Dante.”
He stood, and I heard him spit on his hand. This was going to burn, but I wanted it. Wanted to feel pain along with the pleasure, so much I wasn’t even going to remind him of the tube of lubricant in the bedside drawer.
The first push had me clawing at the covers and keening. He paused, and after a moment, I leaned back into him, driving his cock farther inside me. Dante gave a strangled cry and gripped my hips hard.
“Oh, my God, stop. Stop a minute,” he begged.
Our heavy breathing filled the room. I felt his thumb brush over the top of my rim where his cock stretched me open.
“Christ, Dante.” I wanted him to fuck me hard. Take me. Fucking own me. I could barely stay on my knees, I shook so hard.
He eased in a bit more, and I swore between breaths that came in fast pants, searing my lungs.
When he finally bottomed out and our balls touched, I sobbed, it fucking felt so good. I pushed up from my elbows to my hands and thrust back onto him, loving the cry that it tore from his throat.
He started fucking me then, hard and fast. The burn eased off, transitioning into a painful pleasure that had me squirting onto the sheets in a quick shot of pleasure. Dante groaned as my ass contracted around him but kept going, fucking me harder than I’d ever been fucked in my life. When he tired, he let out a growl and slowly withdrew to the tip before plunging in again, over and over, until I collapsed forward, face in the bed and arms spread wide.
Dante pulled out and tugged the thong down to my thighs before surging in again. I yelled and held on while he hammered at my prostate. My cock was spent, but warmth radiated through my body, bringing me to the brink and back again and again until I exploded out of nowhere, wave after wave of pleasure passing over me. I was suddenly aware of everything touching my skin: the sheets against my face and chest, Dante’s pubic hair behind my balls, his cock tugging at my sensitive rim. I yelled as my body turned inside out with the pleasure and then left me boneless.
Dante squeezed me with his thighs as he came inside me, grunts of pleasure punctuating every thrust. When he withdrew, I gasped at the emptiness he left behind.
He flopped onto the bed beside me and started laughing. I opened one eye.
“What the fuck?”
Dante’s face was alive with mirth. “That was just so fucking good,” he said, and I couldn’t help smiling back at him.
“My ass is sore.” I pouted, and Dante laughed harder.
I was too worn out to even think. I closed my eyes and must have fallen asleep, because the next thing I knew, Dante awoke me by pushing his spunk back into me with his fingers.
I groaned and wiggled my butt. “Dirty fucker,” I murmured into the sheet before closing my eyes again.
CHAPTER FORTY
Swish
Six Months Later
I heard the door unlock and set the rice I’d been cooking to the side of the burner.
“Dante?” I called, and a moment later, he was behind me, pulling me into his arms. As he kissed along the column of my neck, I said, “I’m going to burn your food if you keep doing that.”
I heard his stomach growl and laughed. Dante let me go with a swat to my ass, and I finished sautéing the chicken and vegetables before turning and kissing him.
After living with me a few months, Caleb had decided to move down to the shelter, insisting he needed to learn to be on his own. He’d begun seeing a therapist but, by his own admittance, had a long way to go. I still didn’t know the full story, only that it had something to do with a home invasion that had cost him his family. I couldn’t imagine the pain he had to be going through.
Not long after Caleb moved out, I asked Dante to move in. It was amazing how well we meshed. Once we’d confessed our feelings for one another, it had been as though a dam had broken. We couldn’t stop touching each other, and Dante showed me a side of him I’d never thought existed—sweet, caring, and totally monogamous. Despite finding out his parents’ marriage wasn’t what he’d thought it would be, he still wanted that perfect union himself, and I was totally on board with that. Not that we were getting married anytime soon. That could wait.
Every Sunday night I cooked a big meal for whomever wanted to join us. Usually most of the club showed up, along with Caleb, of course. Just like Hung had predicted, Blaze had ended things with Zoe, and since then had had two girlfriends, each no more suited to him than the others. Sometimes, lying in bed at night, Dante and I discussed our friends, and speculation on what was going on with Blaze was at the top of the list. Dante said he really thought Blaze was questioning his sexuality. I thought if that were true, Blaze would be seeking out men, but Dante said he thought Blaze was still in the denial stage. Whatever it was, I hoped Blaze got it worked out soon. I wanted to see him happy.
Ax, or Axel, as he preferred to be called these days, had taken to wearing a beanie to cover his bald head during the cold months, and once it got warm, I’d noticed he was growing his hair out. It was very dark—almost as dark as Blaze’s. Nobody said anything to him about it, as we all figured he was doing it for Caleb. We’d all seen the way Axel looked at Caleb, and it made me sad because I wasn’t sure the younger man would ever get over his fears. Although Caleb now could remain in the room with Axel, he still trembled much of the time, especially if the biker forgot and was too loud. It was difficult to watch.
That night Morgan and Zeke were coming over. They had something to tell us, and I hoped I’d guessed what it was. They were perfect for one another, and I really wanted to see them together forever. Dante said I was a hopeless romantic, and I had to agree. Two nights ago, we’d had other guests: Felicity and her boyfriend, Chris. My jealousy of Felicity had worn off once I’d become confident in Dante’s feelings for me, and once she started dating Chris, the four of us had begun hanging out sometimes. Dante had been right that Felicity had good business sense; she’d helped me a lot with plans for changes in my pet styling business once I got certified. I now considered her a good friend.
Dante’s kisses in the kitchen were growing more and more heated, making me breathless. When he pushed me over the kitchen table, I didn’t resist, and, before I knew it, he had my shorts and red panties pulled around my thighs and his tongue in my ass. I groaned, not caring I was going to have to bleach the table before our company got there. It just felt so damn good.
Dante bit me gently all over my ass before returning to my hole and fucking me with his tongue. I’d once said something about his ass fetish, and he’d told me that, while he’d rimmed people before, he’d never been so obsessed with someone’s tush like he was mine. I’d been told I had a nice ass before, but Dante made me feel like it was award-worthy. I remembered once, a long time ago, Blaze had suggested I be in one of his porn productions. Dante had nixed that idea pretty hard, and lately I’d wondered if maybe it hadn’t all been protectiveness on Dante’s part back then. Maybe he had felt something for me.
Whatever, it no longer mattered, because Dante was mine and I was his, and Christ, the things he did to me with his tongue. I felt like the main course, bent over the table like I was with Dante making those sounds of oral satisfaction behind me, his hand between my legs stroking my stiff cock. I came with an embarrassing yelp that had Dante laughing. That is, until I turned and dropped to my knees in front of his chair. With his dick in my mouth, he wasn’t laughing anymore.
When we’d both recovered, we cleaned up the mess and ran upstairs to freshen up.
The doorbell rang as we came back down the stairs.
“About fucking time,” Zeke said when Dante opened the door. “There’s something making a weird noise out here.” He scooted past us, Morgan in tow.
“Pretty sure it’s a fox,” Morgan said, smiling.
“They do make funny noises,” I agreed. Zeke shuddered, and Dante elbowed him in the ribs.
“You afraid of a little fox, big guy?”
“Shut up. I was born and raised in the city. How am I supposed to know what a fox sounds like?”
“Hey, Isaac,” Morgan called to me from where he was admiring Fred in his cage. I’d brought the bird up from the shelter when I’d moved. “Is that Dante’s face under all the bird crap?”
Dante groaned. “He likes to use old pictures from the society pages of me and Felicity to line Fred’s cage.”
“Yeah, but that’s my last one,” I said woefully. “What’s Fred going to poop on now?”
Dante began tickling me, and I shrieked.
“Cut it out, I’m starving,” Zeke said, heading for the kitchen.
“What’s up his ass?” Dante asked.
Morgan grinned and called out to Zeke. “Ready to tell them our news?”
Zeke appeared in the doorway, and Morgan said, “We’re getting married!”
After the congratulations and the hugs, I had to ask, “What does your engagement have to do with Zeke being in a bad mood?”
“We’ve agreed not to have sex anymore until our wedding night.”
“Oh, my God. When is it?” Dante asked, looking as though he couldn’t imagine doing something like that.
“October.”
Zeke grunted and went back into the kitchen.
“Is it worth living with him until then?” I asked Morgan.
“I don’t know, but we’re going to do it. I want our wedding night to be special.”
I hugged him again. “I’m so happy for you.”
“You’re next,” Morgan said with a wink. He looked at Dante. “I always told him you liked him that way, but he didn’t believe me.”
“If we get engaged, we’re not stopping having sex,” Dante said before disappearing into the kitchen where he yelled, “No tasting! Get the wine out of the refrigerator.”
Morgan’s eyes went wide. “He seemed agreeable to getting married.”
“We probably will one day, but this fall we’re both starting school. Marriage can wait.”
“I know you’re going to get your certification as a pet stylist, but is Dante really going to go to law school?”
I nodded. I was so proud of him. I couldn’t wait until he passed the bar. I’d bet anything his parents would be in touch with him once they learned he had a law degree. Dante probably wouldn’t talk to them, but I would enjoy seeing them try to get back into his good graces. They sounded so shallow, and it really pissed me off the way they’d treated him growing up.
After Zeke complained the kitchen smelled like bleach, we decided to have dinner out on the back patio. We laughed and drank wine, sitting for a long time just enjoying being outdoors. When Zeke and Morgan carried the dishes back inside, I walked to th
e end of the patio and looked up. The sky was full of a thousand stars, and I picked out one that stood out prominently from the others.
“Thank you,” I said to it, and Dante walked over and put his arm around me.
“Who’re you talking to?”
I pointed to the star. “I like to think that’s Gus looking down on us.”
Dante squeezed me tightly to him. “I’m sure it is. Gus is out there somewhere with his wife and son, and he’s looking down at his other son, proud as fuck of him.”
I smiled up at Dante. “You know, you can be very poetic when you want to be.”
“Just one of my many talents.” He kissed the side of my head and, arms wrapped around one another, we joined our friends inside.
