Sweetness, he said

by Starr, Jude

He thrust his fingers deep inside me and I shrieked as he set every part of my body on fire. My hips swung back and forth in a steady rhythm, seeking out that elusive moment which would tip me over the edge. I pushed my legs against the mattress, pulling at my own hair with my fingers. Calvin had given me orgasms before, but this one was intensely strong and completely uncontrollable. Calvin kept suckling on my clit, gently clutching his teeth against the tiny bud. I found I was holding my breath, because I had no idea how to deal with this amazing sensation. I had dived into the unknown when I agreed to fuck Calvin the first time. If only I had known, how much more amazing it would become. Calvin pushed at my barriers until I reached the highest sexual pinnacle of my life.

When I came, I moaned aloud and Calvin didn’t miss a beat, drawing himself up my body before he entered me swiftly. The fullness of having his dick inside of me only prolonged the untameable orgasm. Every single one of his movements hit me strongly, making the orgasm continue seemingly endless. Tears started to form in my eyes and I didn’t quite understand why. Maybe it was the overwhelming sensations which were playing with my emotions.

“Touch me, Iris, I need you to touch me,” Calvin demanded.

I drew my hands down from beneath my head and gripped him against me, sliding my hands down his back towards his butt. I just needed to touch him. My hands were shaking. The sound of our skin slapping together echoed through the room.

“It won’t be long, sweetness,” Calvin grunted, slamming into me in a steady, powerful rhythm.

The tingling in my body continued, but the exhaustion was wearing me down. Our eyes connected, and it appeared both of us had reached an emotional level we hadn’t expected. The love I saw when he looked at me, filled me with joy. His movement slowed until he was pressing himself into me slowly, in a romantic and sensual way. He lowered his mouth to mine and started kissing passionately. Calvin rolled us over so I straddled him and made love to him for some time, as he lay on his back and watched me lovingly.

For the first time, we let our emotions guide us completely. Our bodies were covered in perspiration but it didn’t matter. Calvin’s hair was falling across the side of his jaw, giving him a sexy, rebellious look. When I thought I couldn’t love him more, I was wrong. He climaxed deep inside me, closing his eyes in ecstasy and afterwards, we snuggled, and kissed. Small tears escaped from the corners of my eyes. I didn't understand why I had become so emotional.

“Is everything okay, kitten?” I heard the concern in Calvin’s voice.

I shook my head and smiled faintly, brushing away the tears. “Yeah, don't worry about it.”

“How could I not?” he questioned.

I thought about it for few seconds, trying to figure out how to explain my reaction. “You constantly take me to a higher level. It has never been that intense for me before.”

Certainly not with Damien. At the time, I had thought he was good – great even – but it always came down to his needs, what he wanted from me when we made love.

  Calvin made me his priority.

And Zach, well, we had been good together. More like a perfect match psychologically, but it wasn't enough.

I longed for Calvin's ways of making love to me.

“I wish we could stay like this forever.” The thought of going back to my small room after the holidays wasn’t particularly appealing in a moment like this. The warmth of his arms, the softness of the bed sheets and how good they smelled, along with Calvin, was a heady delight.

“The offer is still open,” Calvin said quietly. “Stay with me. You'll save money, I'll give you rides to school and work.”

Temptations. “I only need you, Cal. I’ll think about it.” He smiled. I didn't care about the rest. It would be him that I would miss, not everything else that came with him. There was nothing I wanted more than being with him, just the two of us, but that thought brought me back to reality. Work. “When are we going back to work?”

He looked at me as if I had broken a rule. How could I mention work right after one of the best sex we ever had? I knew the timing sucked. I should have waited. “There is a shift tomorrow, from noon to eight. I don't think it will be busy. I have a few things to take care of in my office, but then I have to be at the whiskey bar tomorrow night. Will you spend the evening there with me?”

I snuggled closer to him. “Of course. Anywhere to be with you.”

“Are you tired now? Do you want to stay in bed?” he questioned, wrapping his arms around me

  I nodded. “With you.”

“Always.” He squeezed me against his chest. “For years, I worked on my business, the gym, the sports management, and the bar, because it meant everything to me. I dreamt of being successful and wealthy and I’ve attained my goals, but in a matter of days, you’ve become my main priority. I need to find a way to always spend time with you, because I want so badly to make us work.”

“It isn't all on you, baby. I have university to attend, and I have to work and study. We both had a life before we met. We’ll see each other as much as we can. If we can’t be together for a day or two, we’ll have to deal with it.”

“No, kitten, that isn’t going to happen. You’ll sleep here or I’ll sleep over there with you. I don’t care at this point how it works out, as long as we’re together,” Calvin argued determinedly.

I chuckled. “Let’s not worry about this right now, okay? We’re going to figure it out as we go along.”

He yawned loudly. “You’ve killed me tonight, kitten.”

“Let’s get some sleep. Merry Christmas, Calvin.” I kissed the arm that was holding me hostage.

When I woke up the next morning, we were in exactly the same position. We had stayed bonded together, all night long. I carefully moved his arms from around my waist and got up out of bed.

We had a lot of cleaning up to do, after leaving everything hanging last night. I started with the kitchen. Such a beautiful place to cook, but the dirty dishes everywhere discouraged me. I filled the dishwasher twice over while I cleaned up the living room. We had a garbage bag full of used wrapping paper. I left Calvin’s presents on the sofa because I honestly didn’t know where to put them. I tried on my new winter coat and discovered it fit perfectly. In one of the pocket, I found a beanie and inside the other, an infinity scarf. I wanted to jump into bed to hug him again, but I wanted to let him sleep. It was his turn to have a long rest. All I could think of to do while he slept was to relive our day yesterday.

By 10:30, my dishevelled and amazingly hot boyfriend woke up. Breakfast was almost prepared by then. I’d had a productive morning, but god, I was exhausted already.

“Damn, Iris, I told you not to worry about it.” Calvin came into the kitchen and was looking at me in disbelief, both of his hand raking through his hair.

“Good morning to you too, baby.”

He hid his hair under a beanie and came over to me. “How long have you been cleaning?” Calvin didn’t seem too happy about me doing all the dirty work.

“A while.” His brow furrowed. “Let's say it was my way of thanking you for yesterday, and the day before.”

He sighed. “You still didn't have to do all of this. God, it was a fucking mess in here.” He seemed to consider things for a moment, before he chuckled. “Too late to worry about it, now. Thank you, kitten.” His lips swept my forehead and feather kissed me.

“Now, breakfast is ready. Sit here, baby, and afterwards I'm going in the shower.”

After all the hard work I had done and last night, a shower had become a necessity. I thought I probably smelled like a dead skunk, too.

“Is that an invitation?” He waggled his eyebrows.

“It depends on how fast we eat, because I don't want to be late for work.”

He almost choked on his orange juice, before he managed to swallow down the mouthful and laughed. “That’s the worst excuse you could possibly think of. I could have a word with your boss, and I know for a fact, he wouldn't mind y
ou being late.”

I shook my head slowly. “What am I going to do with you?”

Calvin smiled wickedly. “I think you know.”

Damn, and my face flushed again.

  Chapter 11

First class had its perk. I expected to fly economy, but, of course Calvin surprised me. We sat comfortably, holding hands, in the large leather seats. We were offered wine, champagne and plenty of other things, but the best thing they gave me was a blanket. My eyes were heavy and the exhaustion and stress of thinking about the trip had caught up with me.

I had spent two restless nights before leaving the Big Apple. The idea of seeing Damien and my ex-best friend had my stomach tied in knots and my mind anxious. I didn’t know if the baby had been born yet. I certainly had no interest in seeing the baby. I’d dealt with so many swirling emotions in the past two days. The idea of Calvin meeting my family, and visiting my hometown was nerve-wracking. He was going to have everyone talking and curiosity would probably be rife around town. Being in the public eye had a serious downside.

Calvin woke me with sweet kisses when we were about to land. The warm weather, the palm trees, the ocean – I had missed my home so much and watched anxiously through the windshield as we drove towards my parents.

“I'm getting nervous,” Calvin admitted. He kept one hand on the steering wheel, one on my thigh and his knuckles had turned white on the one clutching the wheel. “I need to chill out.”

“I’m nervous, too,” I admitted, “for different reasons.”

We had checked out of the airport and Calvin had hired a convertible Mercedes, which would make my sister go crazy. He was clueless up until now, but my sister liked everything that was flashy. She liked to get everyone's attention and she succeeded, pretty much all the time. Calvin drove the car according to my directions. I had to admit; this car was amazing.

With the roof down, the afternoon breeze warmed my skin. Calvin’s hair was tied into a little bun, which I found extremely sexy and hard to resist.

“We're almost there, baby,” I announced.

Calvin took a deep breath and looked across at me anxiously.

“Everything will be fine unless I see them.” Calvin knew who I was referring to, we’d spoken about my fears regarding meeting up with my ex and Carolina. We were staying here for two nights, so the probability of seeing either of them was high. I’d grown up in a small town outside of Orlando, where everyone knew about everyone else's business. In a town that size, it would be hard to avoid them.

“You know, I’ve never done this before. Meeting your parents is a really big deal.” Calvin laughed nervously. “What if they don’t like me? And what about your sister? This is really nerve-wracking.”

“Hey… there is no pressure here, okay? My ex slept with my best friend and they either have or are having a kid together. How fucked up is that? My mom or my dad won’t judge a man who’s taking care of me like you do. There is nothing for you to worry about.”

He nodded and visibly tried to relax.

We got to the last red light before arriving at the ranch. The music in the car was playing loudly and I sang at the top of my lungs while Calvin laughed his ass off. I decided I didn’t care who could see me, because only Cal mattered and I was pleased that he had finally let go of his anxiety.

Calvin kissed the hand he was holding and told me that he loved me.

  “I love you too, Calvin.”

The light turned green and Calvin didn’t miss a beat, pushing on the accelerator. We sped up, and he picked up on where I left off with the song and he sang the lyrics. It was a great attempt to make me laugh and it worked. I continued singing along with him until I saw the Hartwell Ranch sign, and a huge smile appeared on my face. My home!

Calvin turned the volume down as we entered my family's driveway.

The house was hidden behind old trees, but after taking a left turn, it appeared as it had stayed imprinted on my mind for the past few months. It was a three story white house and there were white stables sitting a little further back. As soon as the car was parked, I honked the horn repeatedly and jumped out of the car. Calvin joined me, placing his hand on the small of my back and kissed my temple.

“I love you,” he said, loud enough for only me to hear.

“I love you too, baby.” I said back, my heart blooming with joy.

“Iris!” I heard Rose shriek from the doorway of the stables. “Iris!”

When I saw her, I started running toward her and I was sobbing. God, I had missed her so freaking much. Calvin stayed behind. I met Rose halfway and she jumped into my arms making me fall over on my behind. We laughed and cried with joy, rolling in the grass.

“Holy shit.” I heard Calvin say from behind us.

Rose grinned wickedly. “You didn’t tell him, did you?”

  I shook my head.

Calvin strolled across, shaking his head in disbelief. “Am I… You girls are twins? No shit, I seriously can’t even tell you apart.” He looked away and looked back at us.

“Don’t even think about dirty stuff, we’re not into that.” Rose liked to shock people for her own amusement.

“Rose, shut up.” I punched her on the shoulder and got up. Never in a millions years, would I share Calvin.

She followed me, putting her arm over my shoulder and we faced Calvin who looked flabbergasted.

“It’s like a two for the price of one deal,” he joked and I hit him on the arm too.

“Honey?” My mom’s sweet voice changed the mood of the reunion with my sister.

“Mom!” I ran into her arms and hugged her with all my strength. “I’m so happy to be here.” I sobbed in her arms. “Happy birthday, Merry Christmas.” I kissed her cheeks. “All the special days I’ve missed.”

“Aww, my baby girl. Don’t cry.” She brushed away the tears on my cheeks. “Now, introduce me to your man.” She leaned closer and whispered. “He’s gorgeous.”

“He is, mom. He’s actually more than that, he’s everything to me.”

Calvin met us halfway. “Nice meeting you officially, Donna.” He kissed my mother politely on the cheek.

“You look even better in person, Calvin.” What? My sister and now, my mother. I rolled my eyes and Cal laughed.

  “Where is Daddy?” I questioned.

“He should be here any minute. He had to feed the horses. Come on in, you guys must be thirsty after your trip.”

I slid my fingers into Calvin’s and we walked inside the house.

Nothing had changed in the house; everything looked exactly the same as when I left. The pictures in the frames hadn’t changed and it still smelled of the Hawaiian house scent that my mom liked so much. I loved it here, I’d missed it a lot, but now I felt like this wasn’t my home anymore. I had become a guest.

“Don’t be shy. My home is yours,” Mom said to us. Calvin stood behind me and I didn’t know what to do with myself. It seemed awkward to be here now.

Rose joined us and I felt Calvin’s body tense. I needed to talk to him, privately. “Follow me, I’ll show you around,” I suggested.

He kept his hand on the small of my back, and it sent a vibration right through my belly. I took him to my bedroom, and locked the door behind us.

“Look Calvin, I don’t want you to feel anxious or anything when my sister is around. I overreacted earlier and I’m truly sorry.” I paused. “I didn’t tell you I had a twin because I wanted to see your face, your reaction when you found out.” I chuckled.

“For a few seconds, I thought I’d gone crazy. You know I love you and only you, right?”

“Of course, I do. Kiss me, baby.”

He hesitated for a moment, glancing at the locked door before he lifted me into his arms and kissed me. Making out with him in my room turned me on, and I craved more. I waited for his lips to part, wanting to deepen the kiss.

Calvin drew away from me, placing his hands on my shoulders. “Stop, kitten, I can't do this here now. We only just
got here, I haven't even met your dad yet. It would be disrespectful and I don't think I’d be making a good first impression. Trust me, though, I really wish I could take my sweetness here,” he said, with a sensual glint in his eyes.

I had to do something to clear my mind, because all I could think about all we had done in the past few days. Sex, and a lot of it. His tattoos. His naked body and what he could do to me. “Have you ever been horse riding?”

“A long time ago,” he said and I could sense his resistance to the idea.

“Follow me, cowboy.” I bit on my bottom lip trying to seduce him. I had a plan.

We left the bedroom and walked out of the house, heading towards the stable. Mom and Rose were talking together in the kitchen, but I waved and reassured them I’d be back to chat later.

“Daddy?” I called out as soon as we got to the stable.

Dad appeared from inside one of the stalls. “Hey there, Iris cowgirl. I'm sorry I didn't come up to the house when you arrived. I really wanted to get finish down here and be done for the day.” He smiled and pulled me into his arms. “You look great.”

I pulled back and motioned to Calvin, who was standing quietly waiting behind me. “Dad, this is Calvin.” My heart was beating rapidly because I didn’t know how Dad would react.

“He’s taller than I imagined.” Dad studied Calvin from head to toe before he offered him his hand.

Calvin shook my father’s hand, businesslike with his shoulder and back straight. “As tall as a 6'3” can be,” Calvin remarked.

“Hey, Dad, can Calvin borrow your horse? I want to show him around the property?”

Dad looked horrified. Only very rarely would he let someone ride Blacky. He eyed Calvin warily. “Can you ride a horse?”

Calvin shrugged. “Hummm, I did once.”

“Okay, that will do.” Dad forced a smile, seeing the pleading look in my eyes.

While Dad finished feeding the horses and called it quits for the day, I got Blacky’s saddle and bridle and took care of adjusting everything perfectly for Calvin. Then I turned my attention to Polo, who seemed really excited to see me.
