Along a park of leafy trees, Snu walked alone. The path she followed was loaded on both sides with abundant flowers exhaling a soft perfume, which she identified in a mixture of scents between roses and carnations. To her perplexity, on the roadsides she did not see any of those species. On one side and at short distance extended the bank of a river. She approached it and noticed that the river was running in the direction she was going, with clear waters, bathed by the sun’s rays, which here and there sparkled on the water’s surface. On the path she had taken, Snu saw a clearing in the distance, and at a certain point she began to feel that her body was becoming lighter and lighter, eventually rising from the ground and moving forward, as if floating through the landscape. When she arrived at the clearing, she noticed that it was a well-tended garden, so she felt its soft fragrances in the air. That landscape formed an environment of rare beauty! At a certain distance, Snu saw a group of children playing and by their side several adults. As Snu passed by, they smiled, manifesting a spontaneous and familiar joy as if they had known each other for a long time. Snu, surrounded by that pleasant and timeless place, felt enveloped by immense happiness! This was when, looking at the horizon, she saw a young man on a shining white horse, heading toward her, trying to overcome the distance that separated them. When he was finally by her side, he smiled and stretched out his hand as if asking her to go up. In the first moments, Snu was as if petrified looking at that young man. Soon after, still trapped by the gaze of that Prince Charming, she let herself be lifted on the mount. Then they left for the forest. At that very moment she felt a hand on her shoulder and awoke - it was her mother who was calling her for dinner. Snu, invaded by that immense happiness, still mirrored in her face an uncontainable joy to which her mother was not indifferent.
- What’s that smile?!
- A beautiful dream, Mom!
- You want to talk about it?!
Snu, still amazed by the scenes of that strange dream, remained silent for a moment, as if insensitive to her mother’s words - not because she stopped listening to her, but because she still felt the voice of her heart, appealing to the prolongation of the emotions she had just experienced.
- You won’t tell me about it?!
- I’m sorry, Mom, I lack the words to translate the immense happiness lived in the dream I just had!
- I may be wrong, but something tells me there’s romance in the air!
- I wish you were right! I believe, however, that it was only a beautiful dream!
- God sometimes speaks to us in many ways! In dreams He warns us of what is within our grasp or what we can lose. The important thing is to know how to listen to Him!
- That’s the problem! We don’t always know how to interpret correctly what He wants to tell us!
- If there is a problem, somewhere there is a solution, just find it!
Two years later...
Snu was asked to marry her prince who, in reality, was also the president of that great nation...!
