As we stepped out of the townhouse and grabbed a taxi, several men yelled out to us and she just rolled her eyes. Sam was a beautiful tall blonde, and her sexy witch’s costume just brought out her best assets. We were complete opposites, even in our costumes, but somehow we complimented each other which was why she was my best friend.

“You look fucking fantastic!” She whispered loudly once we got in the taxi.

“Tell me again why I let you drag me to this?”

“Because you need to go out and get laid,” she stated matter-of-factly.

“I thought I was here to accompany you to a business event you didn’t want to go to?”

She smirked. “Yeah, then there’s that.” She grabbed my hand and squeezed it. “I’m glad you’re coming with me. We’re about to sign a major contract with a big hot shot Nascar driver, and the deal is mine to close.”

I patted her hand and smiled. “You’ll do so great, I know it.”

She smiled and sat back into the leather seat of the Town car. Samantha was a Marketing exec for a prestigious New York firm that contracted Hollywood A lists and athletes to be the face of million dollar investments. Her check was the reason why we were able to afford a townhouse in Soho. I shifted trying to get comfortable, but the angel wings had me perched at the edge of the seat.

“So what happened to that naughty daddy of yours?”

The question took me a little by surprise and I shrugged. “I don’t know. I haven’t seen or heard from him for two weeks now.”

Sam sighed. “Men nowadays, they just do what they want.”

I looked out the window, hiding my disheartened expression. Anthony Reed wasn’t just any man and he had promised he’d come back. So why hadn’t he? I had asked myself the same question night after night as he consumed my thoughts. I hadn’t received a call, a text, nothing, and my heart was slowly starting to break. Going out was probably the best thing for me, at least it would take my mind off him. It was a temporary fix, but a first step in forgetting him.

We arrived a half hour later to the very posh, La Venue, on the west side of the city. A stately man, dressed in a butler’s uniform with a gunshot wound to his head, opened the door for us.

“Come in if you dare, my ladies.”

Sam looked at me and we both giggled. As we entered, the space took our breath away. The elegant club had been transformed into a haunted mansion, complete with giant chandeliers and black silk panels that flowed along the ceiling. There were flickering candles at every turn, and creepy music floated through the loudspeakers. A thick fog clouded the room, giving it that extra eerie feel. We walked through a makeshift cemetery where hands kept jutting out of the earth as we screamed and ran to the bar.

“This is crazy!” We both laughed as we heard the cries of the startled couples who had just experienced the grazing of an ankle or pant leg. Sam turned towards the front of the room and frowned. I have to disappear for a few minutes sweetie, will you be okay.

I smiled. “Go. Do your thing. I’ll be fine.”

I ordered a drink, taking in the intricate details of the room. Antique candlesticks aligned the floor reflecting a dim light over the expanse of the venue, and red satin cloths cloaked the tables. I loved everything about the place. Soft music played in the distance and my mind drifted to thoughts of Anthony Reed. I wondered where he was and why he had disappeared. After that evening at school I thought I’d see him again the next day, but he never showed. Laura told me he had gone back to Florida for work. In that moment, my heart had sunk. I wanted to see him again. To feel him again.

Behind me, a man laughed pulling me out of my reverie. The rumble sounded faintly familiar, but I didn’t pay any attention to it. Then he laughed again and my heart fluttered. I’d heard that distinct sound when I was in his arms being consumed by his mouth. I ran a hand across my chest as my breath caught in my throat. He was the only man who could make me shiver from the sound of his voice.

I slowly glanced towards the sound and found him standing in the corner of the room. He was leaning on a black coffin and holding a glass of amber liquid in his hand while he spoke to a woman dressed in a Wonder Woman costume. The man looked absolutely dapper wearing a three piece black suit, and a black cloak with a red satin inner lining. His vest had faint traces of golden flames and he was carrying a black cane with a golden gargoyle perched on top. What made me smile, were the two little horns that poked out of his forehead. The makeup was done so perfectly, you wouldn’t think they were fake. I had to admit, he was the sexiest devil I had ever laid eyes on.

As I took in his appearance his piercing gaze suddenly met mine, freezing me in place. Startled, I quickly spun around and made my way to the other side of the bar. I took a sip of my drink, tucking myself away from his eyes and praying that he hadn’t seen me. The last thing I needed was for Anthony Reed to find me dressed up in a somewhat bawdy Halloween costume and wearing angel wings. I carefully glanced around, but I had lost sight of him. I took a deep sigh of relief and then I felt that hot tingling sensation run down my body. I felt the intensity of his presence close behind me, the heat of his body seeping into my back.

“Were you put on earth to fulfill every single one of my fantasies?” His voice vibrated through me, and his breath tickled the side of my neck as he whispered into my ear. His arms wrapped around my waist, keeping me from turning around.

“What are you doing?” I whispered.

“Why are you avoiding me?” he nibbled on my earlobe, sending a deep thrill down my spine.

“I’m not avoiding you. What makes you think I’m avoiding you?”

“Maybe the fact that you ran away when you saw me.”

“No. I was looking for my friend.”

“Liar,” he whispered, his lips brushing against my cheek. He brushed at one of the wings and grunted. “Your wings are in my way.”

I smiled back at him. “Good.”

The live band started playing a slow tune and he swung me around, pressing me against the hard planes of his body. “Much better,” he whispered, as he pressed his thigh in between mine and twirled us onto the dance floor.

“You’re a good dancer,” I whispered, enjoying the press of his thigh against mine.

“And you’re a perfect angel,” he squeezed me tighter. “You look good enough to eat,” his chin was pressed at me temple and I felt him give me a soft kiss. “First a naughty teacher, now an innocent angel, what do you have planned for me next, sweetheart?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” I whispered teasingly as I swept a hand down his red silk cape. “And who are you supposed to be?”

He bent down and nipped at my bottom lip, taking my breath away. “I’m a horny devil, and yes, I would definitely like to know.”

He swept his tongue along my bottom lip, bringing forth a moan from my lips. The next question slipped from my lips, without any filter and causing me to blush from embarrassment. “And what is the big bad devil going to do to me if I don’t tell him?”

“I thought I’d start by tasting that sweet, innocent pussy of yours until I get every one of those dirty secrets out of you.”

I gasped and felt my pussy gush in excitement.

“Tell me, my angel, are you wearing white panties or a white thong under that short, tight skirt of yours?”

“Wouldn’t you like to find out?”

“You better believe I’m going to find out. This devil has plans to have his treat tonight.”

I blushed and bit down on my lip. He had me so aroused I wanted to lift my skirt for him and feel his hands on me as he took my thong off. His promise of what he wanted to do to me only made me want him more, but even in my aroused state I remembered how angry I was at him.

“Where have you been?” I scowled up at him.

He smiled and nuzzled my neck. “Did you miss me?”

“Why would I miss you? It’s not like you left me with anything memorable of yours to miss.”

  “Mmmm, I did
n’t, did I? I’ll have to work on that, then.” He nipped on my earlobe making me melt against him. “I could tell you that I missed you?” He murmured against my neck.

“You did?” I whispered. I hated that I sounded so eager for his assurance.

He pressed me closer to him, allowing me to feel his arousal along my lower belly. “I missed the way you look at me, your soft voice, your satin lips, and your juicy pussy.” He inhaled my neck and I shuddered against him, wrapping my arms around him. “I even fucking missed your perfume,” he growled.

My knees buckled, but he held me tightly to him. “Now tell me, Miss Ana. Did. You. Miss me?”

“God, yes,” I whispered. The man was incredible at manipulating me into telling him all my dirty little secrets.

He smirked knowingly and gently brushed his lips against mine. “Good girl.”

His words sucked me in, but I knew this was wrong. He had me acting like a subdued, horny teenager. I had to stop this before it got out of hand. He was practically fucking me in the middle of a crowded dance floor.

“Mr. Reed, we shouldn’t do this. I could get fired if anyone found out what I was doing.”

“No one is going to find out, and even if they did, I’d protect you.”

  “Mr. Reed, please…”

What did I tell you about calling me that?” he growled softly and tightened his hold on me.

“Please, Anthony,” I moaned as he trailed his tongue along my neck. He’d managed to dance us to a dark corner of the venue, hidden by another coffin where no one could see us.

“I promise you, you won’t get fired,” he nipped at my shoulder making me shudder.

  “You can’t promise that.”

“I can promise you that I won’t hurt you, that I’ll make you feel so good you’ll keep coming back for more.”

“I can’t,” I breathed, but clung to his shoulders. He was too overwhelming, too magnetic, I struggled with myself to walk away and not get swept up in his embrace.

“I need to go,” I pushed back on him gently.

He barely moved and instead took my lips in a deep kiss. I wanted to fight him off. My mind screamed for me to stop him, but my body melted in his arms and my weak heart didn’t want to leave him. His tongue tangled with mine, stroking and flicking against it with the promise of what he would do to me if I just let him in. I felt his hands grip my waist, pressing me against his growing bulge and my hips rubbed up against him. His deep guttural groan lit my body up completely and I could feel each heated touch through the thin material of my dress.

I was getting lost in this man, allowing him to do things to my body in such a public place. The thought of getting caught only added to my arousal. His hands swept down and grabbed my ass, rubbing me against his rigid muscle. I gasped as he continued to suck my tongue into his wet mouth. My hands swept inside his suit jacket and stroked his chest and he growled as he rubbed up against me. I felt a slight draft along the curve of my thighs and then his hands were on my bare skin. I tried to push him back, but he squeezed my flesh and moaned into my mouth.

Slowly, the music started to become more pumped up and I could hear voices as people approached the area where we were somewhat hidden. As he sucked on my bottom lip I heard Sam’s voice calling out for me. Her voice snapped me out of the trance Anthony Reed held me in. I finally pushed back against him, hard enough that he took a step back. We stared at each other as the sexual tension between us continued to sizzle. I managed to resist the urge of allowing myself to get lost in his hungry gaze.

  “I have to go.”

  “Ana, wait!”

  “I have to…”

I turned and practically ran back across the floor towards Sam. When I reached her, I led her to the bar and ordered a double shot of whiskey.

“Are you okay? Where the hell were you?”

I shook my head as I took a big gulp of the liquor. “Remember that man we were talking about?”

She smiled. “The sexy daddy? Of course! Did he finally call you?”

I shook my head and gestured at the cocky devil who was blatantly staring right at me. “That’s him.” His eyes met mine and narrowed in on me.

I ignored his stare and took another gulp of my drink instead.

Sam grabbed my wrist. “Sexy daddy is my hot shot race car driver?”

  “What? Who is he?”

“He’s three-time gold medal winner of the Daytona 500, Anthony Reed!”

I stared at her in shock. “Oh my God!”

I knew he was a business man, but I never thought he would be so famous. I stared over at him and as his eyes met mine I felt an intense flutter in the depths of my tummy. This man was unbelievable in every way possible, and he wanted me. I downed the rest of the drink, quickly asking for another.

“Oh shit!” Sam stated, and asked the bartender for her own drink.

I stood there staring at the roguish devil. His eyes never left mine as more and more people surrounded him, and I could read in their depths that this was far from being over.

  ANTHONY

I decided I wasn’t going to stray far from her for the rest of the evening, I’d done enough of that in the last couple weeks. I wanted to go to her as soon as I got back, but work had kept me away. Standing there, having her so close, I swore to myself that would never happen again.

My angel was currently trying to ignore me and I wasn’t going to make it easy for her. I couldn’t wait for all of this to be over so I could take her back home with me. I wanted to teach her my own dirty lessons. I wanted to show her that what I wanted I fucking got, and she was crazy to think she could fight me on it. Especially since my body begged me to devour every inch of those soft curves of hers. She felt so damn right in my arms, and I wanted to do a full exploration of her faultless soul.

I had dropped off Laura at her mother’s house, even though Cassidy was furious that I was ruining her plans. Believe me, if I could I would have spent all night trick-or-treating and shuffling through candy with my little girl, but this damn event had me all tied up. Then again, I was alone tonight and in the end, it had turned out to be perfect. I had found my sweet Halloween treat and I desperately wanted to take it home and unwrap it.

“Are you listening to me, Tony? We need to close this deal tonight.”

I tore my eyes away from my sultry angel and focused on my manager. His fake mustache was hanging lopsided across his lip, and sweat glimmered on his bald head. I stared fixedly at the drop of sweat that glided down his temple and frowned. Anxiety was starting to shadow my night and I wanted to get out of there, fast.

“I heard you, I just don’t think it’s one of the best deals we’ve gotten.”

“This girl is the best at what she does. She promises enough publicity and even your own line of energy drinks, commercials included. Come on man, you can’t get a better deal than that. It’s a million-dollar contract!”

“It’s also a five year contract! One I don’t want to get into.”

“Five years is nothing,” he waved a hand in the air.

I sighed, upset at the whole ordeal. Five years may have meant nothing to him, but to me it was a lifetime. Especially since in my mind, I was planning on retiring. I just hadn’t let him in on my plans yet. If there was something I learned, it was to do things quietly if you didn’t want the media or the leeches to drag you down.

“Bring it down to one year and I’ll sign the damn contract,” I growled.

  “One year!”

“Fucking do what I say, Greg. I’m not in the mood to continue arguing. One year, that’s all they get from me.”

  “But...”

“I don’t want to hear it. Just make it happen.”

I smiled at a few of the guests who were trying to get my attention. Cameras lit up the venue and my headache was slowly starting to build. I hated doing these types of events. I was always left empty and worn out after attending them.

My eyes swept back to my angel,
and for the first time in a long time I didn’t feel alone. There was finally a purpose to my life, and she had everything to do with it. She was it for me, she just didn’t know it yet. Her eyes bounced around the club and she looked slightly bored. She was perched on a stool at the bar, having yet another drink. Her friend, Samantha Lyle, had left her alone once again. She was too busy trying to convince me to sign a million-dollar deal. I was about to give in just so I could get the hell out of here. My angel was on her third drink and I wanted to go to her and tell her to stop, tell her I wanted her completely lucid for when she took me deep inside of her.

“Give me a second, Greg, would you?”

He nodded. “Fine. But I need you back here in fifteen minutes.”

“One year,” I reminded him, but he just grunted his disapproval as I walked away.

As I made my way to the bar, I noticed a Jack Sparrow lookalike approach my Ana. The drunken pirate was trying to get her attention, but she was doing her best to ignore him and was looking quite frustrated in the process. He kept placing his hands on her wings and she kept shaking him off. As I got closer, I saw he had wrapped his hands around her waist.

  “Let go of me!”

“Come on baby, give me a little of that fairy dust you have.”

“I’m not a fairy you creep! Get off me!”

“Just spread those wings for me, baby.”

She shoved against him as he tried to go in for a kiss and I could feel myself slowly heating up. I could clearly see the guy was wasted, but I didn’t give a fuck. The anger that poured through me was uncontrollable. I reached them in two strides. My hands gripped his collar and swung him around.

Shocked, the guy cried out. “What the fuck, dude?”

My fist came barreling down on him, sending him flying against the bar and crumpling down to the floor. Before he could stand up, I gripped his collar and dragged him back up. “When a lady says, get the fuck off, you get the fuck off her!” I roared and slammed my fist against his cheek once again. I winced as my fist met his face, the sound of bone on bone echoed through the club as the music died. The pain ricocheted up my arm signaling I had hurt my hand.
