All Hallow's Eve Page 4

by C. M. Steele

“Wow, what a way to wake up.”

He lifted his head to mine, a smile wide and bright on his handsome face. “Yes, it is,” he murmured before kissing me and sliding over me and inside. We rocked together in the throes of passion, our bodies covered in sweat and scent. He bit my neck and I was coming again, then he roared his release in me. Nothing could be better than this.

With racing hearts we lay down, panting while talking. “It’s almost dark already. Is there anything you want to do?”

“I’d love to take a walk outside of the large walls. I know that’s probably not the most exciting thing to do, but I never left the house after dark unless it was to another business dinner.”

He growled, which I was sure was because he hated my parents. I couldn’t blame them. I didn’t really know how evil they had been until last night. She shoved me like I was nothing and didn’t give a shit that she hurt me. It really sucked knowing that I’d never been loved, but having Dietrich changed it all. I was smiling even in the darkness.

“We’ll go out for a long walk tonight and talk. Then we can do anything else you want tomorrow night. I do have some business matters to attend to after we get back, but nothing that’ll take too long.”

“Sounds perfect to me. I think I need to wash up. I’m feeling good, but sticky.”

“I like you that way.” He wagged his brows at me. I shook my head and walked over to the large bathroom completely naked and unashamed.

I want your pussy all the time, I heard him say but his mouth didn’t move.

“Is there something you forgot to tell me?”

He smiled. Another benefit, my sweet thing. Aim your inner monologue to me, baby.

This is freaking weird, but I guess it comes in handy. I need a shower. You can telepathically make me come, or you can just join me. I sauntered away, owning my new sexuality and abilities. I wondered what else would happen to me.

  Chapter 13

  Dietrich

My mother did all she could to keep us in the house because she wanted to know as much about Evelyn as she could. The woman had lost her common sense since Evelyn walked into my life. I was thrilled that they got along easily, but my mate wanted to go for a walk and I was going to give it to her.

“Mother, we’ll be back in a few hours.” I took Evelyn’s hand and rushed through the front doors of the house. We jumped into my truck because I wanted to take her out for dinner in the middle of our excursion.

“Is she always like this?” she asked. My mother hounded her about new clothes and things she liked to eat. We were capable of eating both human food and blood, but it made us stronger to eat raw meat or to drink straight blood. Since we were too civilized, we didn’t actually bite humans. Not all of us held to that idea, but most in the business world did stick to it.

“Most of the time, no, but you’re my mate and she’s been waiting a good eighty years for a chance on grandsons.”

“Oh my. I completely forgot about that. How often do, you know, we make babies?”

“It depends. Most only have one or two in centuries. When the big war broke out more births occurred, but ebbed as the war faded into the background and less vampire lives were lost.”

“Duh, the sun,” she said to herself.

“Rarely. Most of the time it’s through the sunlight, but there’s another way to go. A vampire must lose his head and his heart must be pierced for us to die.”

“Wow, sounds violent. Have you ever had to kill someone?”

“A vampire, no, but I have killed a few humans in the past. I was attacked once in the 1930s by some gangsters, and they didn’t realize who they were messing with until they were all dead,” I divulged absentmindedly while driving into a large park.

Realizing what I revealed, I turned to her and I could see the color had drained from her face. “Do humans know about you?”

“No, they don’t. We’ve spent a great deal of time figuring out ways to deceive them. It was something we were good at hiding. Most of us were just the added number of patients with skin disorders or phobias that kept us in the dark and isolated. It’s pretty easy until it comes to the lack of aging.”

“Do we have to go all synthetic masks to look older?” she teased, opening her door before I undid my buckle.

I jumped out quickly and hurried around to her. That’s something we can talk about when we get closer to it, my love.

I’m sorry. I forgot where we are.

Don’t be. It’ll take some time, but you’ll get there. It helps that we can talk like this. Now, my sweet Evelyn, let’s walk and talk wedding.

Wedding? I didn’t think you all did that. I hadn’t considered ever getting married.

We do. It helps with our image in the human world. Plus, I’d take any excuse for showing the world you belong to me.

Don’t say things like that or we won’t be doing much walking, Dietrich.

“Well, then, let’s get to it. I want you to experience everything you can or ever hoped for.” I tucked her arm under mine and intertwined our fingers. We headed off on the nearest walking path with only joggers passing by us. With winter coming soon, the chill would bring less and less of them, but with the mild temps there was a lot of them.

“So about this wedding? How soon do you want it?”

“It doesn’t matter to me. We could get married in a courthouse if you wanted.”

“No, you deserve more than a courthouse, but we could have a wedding at the house.”

“You mean your mansion.” She laughed at my word house, but that was what it felt like to me, especially now that I had her.

  “Our mansion, but yes.”

  “Sounds perfect to me.”

“What about your parents?” She froze and dropped her hand from me. “I’m sorry if I upset you, Evelyn.”

“Oh, no. I’m sorry. I’m not upset, but it’s the first time that I actually thought about them. Throughout this whole day, I haven’t even considered them at all.”

  “Is that bad?”

“No, it’s wonderful.” A heavenly smile spread out across her face. “I’ve spent years worried that I’d never be more than their little pet and now, I can breathe without feeling suffocated. I don’t want them at the wedding.”

  “Then let’s get to it.”

“Okay. Can we go home now? I want you to make love to me until we pass out from exhaustion.”

“I am totally on board for that, my love.” I spun her into my arms, kissing her fiercely before flipping her over my shoulder and to the car. I ran all the way to the car, making her laugh, and that was a sound I would be getting very used to.

  Chapter 14

  Evelyn

The wedding was breathtaking, considering we only had four days to do it. Dietrich meant what he said about waiting; he wasn’t going to do it. We were married in the large ballroom, decorated in the deep, dark blue that we had both worn that night we met. He had on a white suit with a matching blue dress shirt and tie. I wore a white ball gown that had blue ribbon down the boning of the corset. My veil was a matching blue, but none of that mattered. All I cared about was belonging to Dietrich. There were about thirty guests. All guests were for Dietrich’s side, some of them I had met during my parents’ dinner parties.

During the reception, one of them approached me. “If only I was a little younger, you’d be on my arm,” Mr. Greenlee sneered.

“Actually, that would have never happened, younger or not, because I belong to Dietrich. I always have. Excuse me, and enjoy yourself and behave or you’ll be out on your ass in a heartbeat.” I walked away like a boss and straight to my mate, who was looking fierce and snarly.

I ought to rip his throat out. His expression was menacing and aimed directly at Greenlee who was completely unaware and chasing the server to get her attention.

I slipped my hand around his neck with my fingers in his hair and with a bit of force turned his head to look at me. My expression was just as serious and venom
ous as his had been, but for a different reason. Today was special, and no one was allowed to mess it up, even Dietrich. No, you won’t. You know you shouldn’t be listening to their thoughts. Your mom spent all day teaching me how to control it because today was about us. Now let it go.

Slip a ring on your finger, and all of the sudden you’re bossy. He chuckled, showing me that swoon-melting smile with lines at the very end. The scruff on his face had grown out, and I made him keep it for today. It gave him that roguish look that made it hard for me to think straight. I could feel the desire sliding down my thighs. I should have worn panties, but I want nothing to keep my scent away from him. I knew he could smell my need every time his nostrils flared a bit and his legs rocked to adjust his cock.

I’m not bossy, I’m the boss. I believe it’s time you learned that now.

Wait, my love. I’m going to enjoy fucking you hard and reminding you who’s the boss.

I look forward to it, I said, tugging on his tie and nipping on his chin. I turned around to maintain that power, but I was a puddle of goo inside, thinking about his large, hard cock thrusting into me over and over again, stealing my breath away and punishing me.

Before I knew it, he was on me and I was over his shoulder. I gasped, and the crowd turned our way. “Wedding’s over. Time for us to go,” he shouted, and everyone started laughing. He dashed from the room and down to ours, flying halfway there. Once we were in our rooms, he closed the door and set me down in front of him. His eyes were predatory and knowing.

I giggled, then dashed to the bed as fast as my new vampire speed could manage, but he had years and experience on his side. He caught me before I made it to the mattress. His body came up directly behind me with his hand banding around my waist, leaning my body forward onto the bed.

“You did that on purpose, Mrs. Van Helsing,” he murmured against my ear, grinding his cock on my dress-covered ass. I knew it wasn’t going to be long before I was screaming down the house. “Keep your head down,” he added.

My body was covered in goose bumps thinking about his big cock deep inside of me. I wiggled my hips, itching for him to take me. He grunted, then took my earlobe between his lips and sucked. I popped my butt up, hoping to get a better feel, and I did. His hand came down, smacking my ass.

I let out a pleasurable cry. “Keep it down, Evelyn, or I’m going to slip my cock down your throat to keep you quiet.”

“I need you inside of me, and you’re playing. I want it now,” I demanded petulantly, turning my head and giving him my best pout.

“That’s fucking cute, sweetheart.” He dropped his pants, leaving the rest of his suit on. He straightened me back up and undid the back of my dress, letting it fall to the floor. “Step out of it.”

I eagerly did what I was told and returned to my position on the bed. I was game for whatever he felt like giving to me as long as it included a few mind-blowing orgasms. I heard him breathe in, his face now pressed against my bottom. My pussy clenched the second his tongue lapped up the juices seeping from my slit. I shivered in sweet anticipation before the next slash of his tongue. I rolled my hips, giving him more of my pussy. And just like that I was coming all over his face. He moaned and sucked on my sensitive nub. My head barely tilted to look back before he pushed his way into my core. “Fuck me,” I cried, whimpering and moaning with my body still shattering from the first orgasm.

“That’s what I want to hear. Tell me how much you need it. Your pussy is squeezing me like a greedy little thing. This view is going to send me over, but I’m nowhere near done,” he grunted in my ear. His tongue slid down my ear to my neck. He clamped down on my vein, drinking from me as he came, and I was coming again.

He collapsed, sprawling on top of me, and it felt fabulous.

  Epilogue

  Dietrich

The sun beat down on my face while I lay in the sand with my sexy mate lying by my side. Falcon let me borrow the little piece of the island for the week. Two years past since I met my mate, and this was our first major trip into the sunlight. The war between the good and evil was over for now, and the curse of darkness removed from our souls. I absorbed the light until a shade passed across my closed eyes.

I opened them to see my wife staring down at me with a wicked smile on her face. Her mouth came down on mine for a kiss that had consequences. I grabbed her hips, lifted her on top of me, and speared with my length. “Whoa, Mr. Van Helsing. Is that your first morning wood?” she teased. It was the first time we made love in the light, but she kept me up all night many times until the sun rose while we stayed in the steel cage. I hadn’t realized how wonderful it felt to have the sun on me.

“Yes, and it mustn’t be wasted, Mrs. Van Helsing. Now ride.” She worked my cock until we were both screaming out our release. I flipped her onto her back with my body over hers and we went at it again. I don’t think I could ever get enough.

“Dietrich, there’s something I need to tell you,” she whispered after resting her head on my chest.

“What is it, baby?” I sat up with her straddling my lap.

“I’m pregnant,” she said. I lifted her up bare-assed and all, spinning us both around before flying her into the house and onto the bed. I just had to hold her in the privacy of the room even though we had the place to ourselves.

I kissed her a hundred times at least before I said anything. “I love you. Wow, I can’t believe this is happening.” In our world, having a baby was very rare. Since we were immortal, it was like a form of population control. With the major war that took place a few months ago, more and more pregnancies happened and this time it was our turn.

“Me either. I love you so much, Dietrich,” she sobbed, tears in her rich green eyes. I wiped them away and made love to her until the sun set. My life was perfect.

  Ten Years Later…

  Evelyn

Our son was growing strong and was already taller than me. It wasn’t hard, since I wasn’t a giant or anything. He looked more and more like his father every passing day, and I loved it.

“Edward, your grandparents are waiting for you. Please hurry.”

Dietrich’s parents were taking him to the beach today while Dietrich and I spent some alone time together. They were the only grandparents he knew. My parents didn’t deserve the right to be in his life, and it was a good thing because less than three years after I left, they were tried and convicted for running a Ponzi scheme. It landed them with thirty years in minimum security prison. It was like a dose of karma after the years of having me locked away practically a prisoner.

Edward popped up at my side. “Mom, I’m ready.” I jumped nearly ten feet in the air, grasping my chest. He had a special gift that we just learned about, and it still took me by surprise. He could teleport short distances. It was a blessing because it wasn’t a common gift at all. In fact, I was just an ordinary mate. And Dietrich had a physical strength greater than most of the vampires.

“Have a great time, and don’t teleport off or I’m going to have to ground you.” He loved his grandparents too much to try it for more than a moment, but vampire or human, at his age he was a bit of a brat.

“I won’t. Besides, Grandpa’s going to teach me how to fish.”

“Good, I’m hungry,” I teased, rubbing my belly. “Catch me a big one.”

He winked, kissed my cheek and teleported to the front door about twenty feet away just because he could. “We’ll take good care of him. If he messes up, we’ll feed him to the sharks,” my father-in-law joked.

“Then I better behave.” My little man was growing up so fast and I was like any mother, missing the small little boy he used to be. I was practically in tears. I shook it off when I felt Dietrich slip his arms around my waist.

“Have fun,” he said to them as they walked out of the house.

“Mrs. Van Helsing, do you mind telling me why you’re in tears when we have time to ourselves?” he asked, nipping on my ear.

“I just miss my little baby.”

“He only just walked out the door.” He turned me around and stared at me strangely.

“My heart. Are you by chance pregnant again?”

“I don’t believe so,” I whispered, then my eyes jumped to his. I’d been an emotional wreck when I was pregnant with Edward. It was too soon. Most mates didn’t produce children that fast or even more than one. I could only hope we had another son.

Three hours later we were celebrating naked in bed. We were adding to our family. I couldn’t wait to tell Dietrich’s parents and Edward, but I could hold off until they came back. For now, it was time to continue our love for eternity.

  The End
