Love Without Loyalty

Autumn was about to speak until she heard somebody clearing their throat. She turned to face the person just to see that they were staring dead at her and Avery. The woman was beautiful, and her skin was smooth golden color. Her hair was long and it evident she dyed it a blondish color.
Autumn looked between the woman and then looked at Avery. His energy was suddenly hostile. “What are you doing here, Yvonne,” Avery asked as he stood and got in front of Autumn.
Yvonne looked at him and then sneered. “I thought you was hurt. Blessings told Ms. Nancy you were at the hospital, but you seem just fine to me.” Yvonne looked at Autumn and rolled her eyes. “Cradle robbing, aren’t you?”
“Yvonne, get the fuck out,” Avery hissed. He didn’t want Autumn to see him get upset. Hell, he didn’t even want her to really know about Yvonne. He was trying to keep Yvonne far in his past as he possible could. But she keeps popping up like a STD.
“I’m going to see about my sister,” Autumn said as she got up from her seat. She didn’t want to get in between those two. One look at Yvonne suddenly had Autumn in her feelings. She was starting to question why Avery was even talking to her. Yvonne was gorgeous with her freshly braided hair and small frame. There was no way Autumn could compete with Yvonne. Autumn was definitely out of her league with dealing with Avery.
Autumn tried to walk past Yvonne to leave out of the waiting room, but Yvonne blocked her path. “I don’t know you and you don’t know me. But he belongs to me. You just somebody to keep his mind off the troubles he always running away from. So, run along and stay away.” Yvonne eyed Autumn until Autumn was forced to look away.
Autumn looked at Yvonne and then back at Avery. She rolled her eyes and then walked past Yvonne. Avery was just standing there, looking stuck on stupid. Autumn shook her head as if to clear her thoughts. She walked to the elevators and was about to stepped on until she bumped into a hard body. She looked up and was surprised to see it was Chicago.
“What are you doing here,” Autumn asked as she backed away.
Chicago looked at her and then reached to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. This must be a nigga’s first line of flirting, Autumn said to herself as she remembers Avery doing the same thing.
“My sister works here,” Chicago explained. “I’m just here to drop off some food because she forgot her debit card.” Chicago held up the food that was in an Applebee’s bag. “What are you doing here? Thought you had a date with your man.”
Autumn sighed as she remembers that her date was in the waiting area going off on his ex. “My sister is here. She suddenly became sick.” Autumn looked up at Chicago and gave him a faint smile.
Chicago nodded his head. “Something else is wrong. But I would let that slide for now.” He walked over to the nurses’ station and handed a bag of food to the nurse. He then walked back to where Autumn was still standing and wrapped his arm around her. “Let’s go take a walk. I know a good sitting area to help clear your head.”
Autumn’s pulse quickens as she looked behind her to the waiting area. She could see where Yvonne was still standing with her back turned to her. Avery was sitting down in the chair with his hands in his lap. He looked up and was surprised to see the dude from Autumn’s school with his arms around her. Jealousy flashed throughout his body until he saw Autumn looking at him with hurt in her eyes. He had promised himself that he will always put a smile on her face. But here he was, already breaking that promise.
Autumn said something to guy, and he removed his arms from around her. She walked to the nurses’ station and stood there until Chicago hopped back on the elevator. Autumn felt like she was cheating by already talking to him. She couldn’t hurt Avery like that. He already had a psycho ex to deal with. She didn’t want to add on to that.
She felt him walk up behind her and wrap his arms around her waist. “I’m so sorry for putting that look in your eyes,” Avery whispered into her ear. Autumn smiled as she turned around to face him. She gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“Always respect a woman,” Autumn said as she looked at him. “Regardless of what she did. Respect her. You have to be somebody worth having.”
Avery nodded his head as he looked back at the waiting area. Yvonne was still standing there, huffing and puffing. His heart was breaking but not because he hurt Autumn’s feelings. But because he was trying to close the book on him and Yvonne. As much as he was trying to pour his love into somebody else, Yvonne would always remain a factor. He wanted to hate her forever, but he couldn’t. Every time he looked at her, all he could see is his cousin being inside of the woman that was supposed to be his. He knew if he stayed with Yvonne, they would just be forcing a relationship. He knew Yvonne’s situation. She had no family or friends to turn too. All she had in her corner was Avery. Now he was gone.
“The nurse’s here,” Autumn said as she broke away from him. “I’ll be back.” Autumn walked off as she went to meet up with the nurse. Avery looked back at Yvonne who was walking towards him.
“You still love me,” She said as she approached him. She stared at him until she couldn’t anymore. “That girl has too much purity and you will just corrupt her with all your sins. You weren’t so innocent either in our relationship. Remember that.” Yvonne stepped away from him and turned to head to the elevator. “When you done playing with angels, you know where you can find this demon.”
YVONNE WALKED OUTSIDE of the hospital and quickly pulled out a cigarette. Her nerves were bad. She really thought Avery was hurt but he was really here for that bitch. Yvonne sighed as she sat down on the bench. She needed Avery back in her life. She knew he still cared, otherwise he would have ignored her when she popped up. As long as he was still willing to argue with her, she still had him. That girl was just his little plaything. She doubted if they even fucked yet.
Yvonne sighed when she heard her phone ringing. She answered it without even bothering to check who it was. She already knew. “Yes, Mark,” Yvonne said into the receiver.
“Tori is in the hospital,” Mark said. “She brought crack from that asshole down the street.” Yvonne rolled her eyes as Mark was referring to Jeremy. Yvonne could have cared less about the young bitch. Mark was good at playing with people’s emotions, but Tori was in love with him. She only dealt with Jeremy to score whatever Mark couldn’t provide for her. She would do anything and everything for him because she swore Mark’s words were gold. But Yvonne knew the truth. Mark’s words were pointless. He was slowly preparing Tori so he can eventually pimp her out.
“What hospital she in,” Yvonne asked as she opened the Uber app. “I can stop by and see if she is ok.”
“She at Touro right now,” Mark said as he read through the messages that was sent to him by his friend who was at janitor at the hospital. Yvonne looked up at the hospital sign to make sure she was at the same hospital.
“What’s Tori’s last name,” Yvonne asked. When Mark said Coleman, Yvonne suddenly smiled. It suddenly made sense why Avery was here with Autumn, Tori’s is Autumn’s sister. An idea suddenly started formulating in her mind. Tori has always tried to get on Yvonne’s good side and would sometimes mention her bitch of a sister whenever she was high. “I would see how she is doing tomorrow.”
“Where are you,” Mark asked. Yvonne quickly hung up the phone and grinned. How fun would it be to officially turn sister against sister?
BLESSING WALKED BACK into her apartment and sat down on the couch. She knew Priest was probably in the room, knocked out sleep. She didn’t feel like bothering him. She wanted her space. After her conversation with her mother, Blessings started thinking about everything that was going on. Maybe Priest is lying to her about something. But he never did that before. He always was honest with her. That was one of things she admired about him. She trusted him back then. Right now, she wasn’t so sure.
Blessings laid down on the sofa and closed her eyes. She felt herself falling asleep until she felt a pair of hands touching on her body. She pretended to be s
leep as Priest carried her into the bedroom and placed her in the bed. He took her shoes off and then removed her clothing. Blessings continued to be sleep only stirring slightly to give off the illusion even further.
Priest got in the bed and placed his mouth around her nipple. Blessings bit down on her inner jaw as she tried to keep herself from moaning. Priest kept swirling his tongue around her nipples causing them to get hard. He then moved his assault to the other nipple. Blessings kept her eyes closed as he went between her legs to finish what he started the other day. He held Blessings legs wide open as he dug his face deeper into her pussy. Blessings couldn’t help but moan as she felt her orgasm rushing to hit the surface. As she was about to cum, Priest quickly moved his head and inserted his penis inside of her. Blessings quickly opened her eyes as and grabbed onto his shoulders as he pumped inside of her. The way he was stroking her made her forget that she was supposed to be “sleep”.
She was wide awake now and moving in tune to Priest’s rhythm. He kissed her on the lips and Blessings tasted her juices on his lips. She got even wetter by the thoughts of sucking him off when he was done making sure she got hers. Priest then pulled out and grabbed his dick. He opened her legs wider and slapped his dick on her clit. It drove her crazy as she felt her orgasm rebuilding. This time it was stronger than before. Priest then inserted himself back and rolled his hips in a circle.
Blessings grabbed onto the pillow and as Priest continued playing with her body like it was a flute. His dick was suddenly touching her spot, causing her to scream his name over and over again. She tried to put her hands up to stop him going deeper, but he just slapped her hands away and kept going. Priest kept going until he felt Blessings pussy clinched his dick hard as if it was trying to swallow it. Blessings cried out as she came all over him.
Smiling, Priest slid out of her slowly and laid down beside her. “I promise to do better. I love you too much to make you feel like you’re not important.” Blessings placed her hand on his chest as snuggle her naked body against his.
“I love you, too”
Chapter 8
Yvonne stepped foot off the elevator as she walked to the nurses’ station. She paused when she noticed an elderly nurse writing something down on the board. “Excuse me,” Yvonne said in the politest voice she can muster up. The nurse looked back and saw Yvonne standing there. “I’m here to see my cousin. Tori Coleman. She was brought it last night for an apparent drug overdose.”
The nurse walked over to the clipboard and looked for the name. “She is in room 43F. Just make a left and then another left. Second door on the right.”
Yvonne thanked the lady as she walked down the corridor. She paused when she finally got in front of Tori’s door. Yvonne quietly opened the door and peeked inside. She didn’t want to run into Autumn nor Avery. Once she saw the coast was clear, Yvonne walked in all the way to see Tori was wide awake in her bed. Her head was facing towards the window as if she was seemingly looking at something other than a blue sky.
“Hey.”
Tori turned her head and looked in Yvonne’s direction. Tori slightly nodded an acknowledgment before she looked back at the window. Yvonne grabbed a chair and pulled it closer to the bed. “Are you ok?” Yvonne touched the young girl’s wrist. “Mark told me to come check up on you. Didn’t we tell you about buying shit from Jeremy?”
Tears welled in Tori’s eyes. “It numbs the pain,” Tori said hoarsely. “Nobody understands what it is like having a seemingly perfect mom with an overachiever sister. Everybody expects me to be just like Autumn. Well I’m not her. I can never be her.” Tori let the tears fall as she kept her eyes on the window.
Yvonne grabbed a tissue of the table and wiped the tears from Tori’s face. “Sometimes the family is there just to be there. They don’t understand the pressures they put on us. Nor would they try to understand. As you get older, you start to build your own family. The one that’s ideal and complete to you.”
Tori looked at her with a blank expression. Tori eyes told the song of a tortured soul. Yvonne knew how to get Tori where Mark needed her to be. It’s an extra bonus that she is Autumn’s sister. All Yvonne had to do was rip the final last pieces of thread that held the Coleman family together.
“Let’s go for a walk and get you out of this bed,” Yvonne said as she went to grab the nurse. After a few minutes passed and a few more false words of encouragement, Yvonne and Tori was walking down the hallway together. “Let’s step outside right here. I need to smoke,” Yvonne said as she slowly ushered Tori outside.
Yvonne pulled out a cigarette and lit it. She took a long deep pull as she closed her eyes. “I know your sister. She does seem entitled. What’s worst is that I fucked up with my fiancé and he is with her.” Tori sat down on the bench as she looked at Yvonne who was standing across from her. “The bitch in me knows I fucked up, but I refuse to acknowledge that side,” Yvonne said as she flipped her hair over her shoulders. “But he still loves me. Avery just needs something to do and she just so happens to be around.”
Tori winced as she tried to take in a deep breath. “If he with Autumn, I don’t think he will be coming back. She is the epitome of perfection. She never been with a guy, so she is like a fresh flower that’s waiting to get sniffed.”
Yvonne flicked her ashes as she took another pull. “Well you help me with getting my man back and I will make sure Mark makes you his number one lady. I know you love him. Mark is only keeping me around because he doesn’t want to see me homeless.”
Tori mull over Yvonne’s proposal. “Why are you the way that you are? I noticed how you wear designer clothes but yet you are staying in the basement. My mother would flip if I spent over thirty dollars on a shirt. But you? You just do whatever you want to do, regardless of the price.”
Yvonne chuckled as she took another pull of her cigarette. “I do what I do because,” Yvonne paused as she shrugged her shoulders. She was always high maintenance. Ever since elementary school. Her biological mother had dated a drug dealer, who in turned spoiled Yvonne with the best that money could buy. Money turned her on just like the sight of a thick dick. She looked at Tori and gave her a slight smile. Nothing in this world was free. Her mother boyfriend had given her that life lesson the hard way. “Because life has a way of making you grind harder. You don’t just fuck a man because his dick is big. The pockets got be equally big as well. Hell, even bigger than that.” Yvonne pulled out a blunt and sparked it. She took a long pull as she closed her eyes again to feel the effects the narcotic was having on her body. She could feel the marijuana filling her lungs as she began to exhale. “Your mama should have taught you right. But then again, it seems like both of yall daddies were broke niggas anyway.”
Tori sighed as she looked down at the ground. She was tired of staying in that house. Tired of pretending like everything was ok while she was dying to be free. She felt like she was in a prison. Her mother had her favorite child so why do she need to stay there?
“I don’t want to be there anymore,” Tori whispered. “If you help me get out of that house, I will help you get rid of Autumn so you can get back with Avery.”
Yvonne smiled as she put out her blunt. “I can be your big sister and teach how to really get what you want before a man gets what they want out of you. I’m sure you really don’t see Mark being your final destination.” Yvonne walked over to Tori and sat down. “You are a pretty girl. You just need to shake this nasty habit.”
Tori looked at Yvonne. She didn’t speak a word but the expression on her face told Yvonne that Tori was down. “Let’s get you back inside,” Yvonne said as she helped Tori up. On the way back to the hospital room, Yvonne mentally patted herself on the back. Mark didn’t deserve neither of them. He was a flunky that used his dick to try and get what he wanted. Yvonne would teach Tori had to play along but she will also teach her the art of seduction. Pussy could be a powerful weapon.
AUTUMN WOKE UP IN THE massive bed and rolled over. She was surprised to
see that Avery was still knocked out sleep. After they had left the hospital, Autumn didn’t feel like going back home to an empty house. She decided to go with Avery to his house. After she had took a shower, her body was tired. She had hopped in the bed and went straight to sleep.
Autumn stifled a yawn as she looked the other way. She slowly eased her way out of the bed and tiptoed into the bathroom. She quickly relieved her bladder as quietly as she could. As she walked over to the sink to wash her hands, she felt somebody watching her. She turned around and saw Avery looking at her. His chest was covered with tattoos and the pajama pants he wore showed off the v cut in his waist. “You need a toothbrush,” Avery asked as he walked over to her. Autumn nodded her head yes as Avery opened up the medicine cabinet. He handed her an unopened toothbrush and but then jacked it back when she reached for it.
“Why are you so beautiful in the morning,” Avery asked as he handed it to her again. Autumn smiled as she grabbed it.
After she was done with washing her face and brushing her teeth, Autumn stepped out of the bathroom, feeling better. She looked around the bedroom and noticed how fairly decorative it was. The different hues of brown pillows that laid upon the white bedspread really brought out the room. Autumn made her way downstairs as she continued to admire the décor. When she stepped into the kitchen she was taken aback. The kitchen was massive. The long island in the middle really brought out the kitchen size. “Well you must be chef Avery in this kitchen, huh,” Autumn teased as she sat in one of the chairs that was stationed by the island.
Avery was standing by the stove, cooking up a quick breakfast. He still was shirtless as he turned the bacon over in the pan. Autumn admired every muscle and every tattoo he had on his body. “Just something to put in your belly before you head to the hospital to see your sister.” Avery placed the food on a plate and set it down in front of Autumn. “Did you call your mother and let her know where you are?”
