The Tattooed Bad Boy Page 16

"Lion King it is." we said at the same time and Hunter groaned.

"How can you not like Lion King?" Dylan shot Hunter a flat look.

"Shut the fuck up." Hunter breathed out.

Though it always seemed as if these two were seriously arguing, we all knew that it was just them being playful. I know they were doing this to keep me smiling, and also because they love arguing with each other. Though, arguing and hating on each other wasn't the only thing they did. I remember when Hunter walked into the house with a knife stabbed in his side, and later on he told us that he punched Brandon. Hunter didn't know what Brandon did to me; he only knew that Dylan was being bullied by Brandon. See the point? Hunter was protective over Dylan, and I know Hunter was never going to admit that.

Dylan started playing the movie and sat on the floor, leaning against the couch Hunter and I were sitting on. Hunter and I lay down on the couch with Hunter his arms wrapped around me. We started watching the movie and before I even knew it, Hunter was already softly snoring, and Dylan fell asleep on the floor. I smiled and watched the movie until the end. I turned off the DVD and the television and closed my eyes, falling asleep in Hunter his arms.

"Holy motherfucking shit!! Fuck!" I heard someone scream in the morning, making me once again, yell and fall from the couch.

  "What the fuck..." I mumbled.

"Zoe, get the fuck up! There's a huge spider there!" I heard Dylan shout, and I yelled and quickly got up and stood on the couch.

Hunter was just sitting on the couch with his legs crossed as if nothing was happening. I looked at Dylan and saw him standing on the other couch, looking wide-eyed at the huge spider on the floor. I looked at the spider and backed up even more. That this was huge and disgusting. I felt a shiver run down my spine from disgust and I faked a shiver.

"Get that thing out of here." I said breathless.

"It's just a tiny spider." Hunter smoked his cigarette. When the fuck did he do that? I shook my head and frowned at him.

"You're so brave. You get rid of that spider." I said and yelled when I saw it moving.

"Are you crazy? I'm not touching that thing!" Hunter stood on the couch too.

"Bitch, just a while ago you were acting all brave and shit, what the fuck happened now?" Dylan looked at Hunter.

"Shut up, Dylan. That shit is hideous." Hunter argued.

"Yeah, it's just as hideous as you, you fucker. Get rid of it!!" Dylan started getting even more frustrated.

"Uh, guys?" I stared at the floor.

"What!?" they both looked at me.

"Where did it go...?" I pointed at the floor, and now everything just got even more terrifying.

Shit gets even scarier when the fucking spider disappears. You can bring freaking Jeff The Killer, or Slenderman to me, I wouldn't be afraid, but this spider scares the living shit out of me. They look so disgusting with their long legs and weird looking body. Oh God, this is disgusting.

"I think it's gone..." Hunter got off the couch and grabbed his phone from the table.

I was about to get off the couch too, but then suddenly we heard someone banging loudly on the front door. I frowned and looked at Hunter, before looking back at the door when the banging started again.

"Open the fucking door!" we heard his voice.

  Oh God. We're doomed.

  Chapter Twenty-Eight

The knocking got louder and louder, and I kept feeling more scared. Hunter held his gun in is hand and slowly moved to the door. He held the doorknob and looked at us, gesturing us to stay quiet. Obviously we were going to stay quiet. Why in the living hell would we even fucking talk? He opened the door and quickly pointed the gun at the person.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down there with the gun, would you?" we heard a male's voice. But it wasn't Zachariah's. Neither was it Tony's.

"Frankie?" Hunter lowered his gun as he frowned. "What the fuck are you doing here?"

"I didn't have a choice. I need the money, Hunter." the guy said.

  "What money?" Hunter asked.

"Don't act like you forgot. You know what money I'm talking about." the guy got frustrated.

Dylan and I looked at each other, both confused about what was going on here. A guy just randomly appears at our front door and starts asking Hunter some money. What money was he even talking about?

"I don't have it here." Hunter said.

"What do you mean? I need the money, Hunter." the guy started getting angry. "I need the money for my mother's surgery!" he balled his fists.

The guy his jaw clenched as I could sense his anger building up. I didn't know who he was, but I do know that he was starting to scare the fuck out of me. Me, being the coward that I am, I hid behind Dylan. I looked over his shoulder at the guy who raised an eyebrow at me, and then at Hunter who looked at me a bit worried.

"I can only give you half of it." Hunter said. "Maybe a bit more than half of it. I still need to add five-thousand, but I don't have the money."

The guy stared at Hunter for a while, not knowing what to say. After a few minutes he sighed and his shoulders sagged a bit. "Fine, but I'll need the other five thousand too."

"Frankie, I promise I'll give you your money as soon as we're out of this mess." Hunter said and placed the gun on the couch behind me.

Frankie ran a hand through his back hair and sighed once again. His blue eyes met mine, and he shot me a friendly smile. I smiled back and Frankie turned his head to Hunter. "Okay then."

Hunter nodded and walked into our bedroom. Right then, Frankie looked at me again and smiled once again. "I'm sorry if I scared you." he said, making my cheeks go red in embarrassment.

I walked from behind Dylan and cleared my throat. "No, it's fine."

Just when I said that, the bedroom door opened and Hunter walked out with the money in his hands. My eyes grew wide when I saw the amount of money he was holding in his hands. When did he even get that? Where did he get that from? How did he get that? All these questions just started messing with my head. Dylan and I looked at each other and then back at the other two. Hunter handed the money over to Frankie and he smiled before waving at us.

"Oh," he turned around before exiting the door. "Tony is really working on your location by the way."

My eyes grew wide. Before I could ask anything else, he walked out the front door and slammed it shut. I just stood there; frozen to the floor. He was going to find us... Or did he already find us? No... That can't happen... Tony... Tony can't find me... If he does, he'll take me back. I don't want to go back there... All the torture, all the cuts... All the abuse... No, I can't go there.

  I can't go back there.

  "Zoe!" I heard my name.

"Zoe!" I heard it once again and I looked at Hunter, then at Dylan.

Both of them looked at me worried. Soon their expressions, their faces, and everything else started to get blurry. What's happening? Before I could even speak, I felt everything spinning and I collapsed to the floor as everything went blank.

  ∞∞∞

"She's going to be fine. Stop being dramatic, you idiotic fuck." I heard a voice.

"You shut your ass up." I heard another voice and suddenly something falling on the floor.

I groaned as the headache I had grew worse. I sat up and just looked at the both of them. Hunter sat in front of me on the floor as I was on the couch, and Dylan was sitting on the table, eating my fucking noodles. I frowned at Dylan as he just stared at me with wide eyes and a mouth full of noodles.

"Those were mine." I said and he laughed sheepishly.

"I know." he said and I looked at Hunter.

"And you just let him eat my food?" I scoffed and he shook his head at me.

He kissed my forehead and smiled. "I'll buy you something else later." he said, making me grin from ear to ear.

"Okay then." I said and rubbed my head as I groaned again.

Wait, what happened? How am I on this couch? Did I fall asleep here or somethi
ng? Yeah, I probably fell asleep. Wait... No. I didn't fall asleep. I passed out. I remember Frankie asking for the money and talking about Tony before walking away. It's annoying how I passed out at the mention of his name. This what happened really makes me feel weak. I hate feeling like this. I hate running away from everything. I just hate all of this.

"Hunter?" I called his name, hoping that he wouldn't snap at what I'm just about to ask.

"Yes?" he sat next to me on the couch and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Who was that Frankie guy? And where did you get all that money from?" I asked and I felt him tense up.

I frowned and looked at him. Okay, this is something serious. He can't just randomly tense up. And it was definitely something he didn't want to talk about. At least not with me.

"Frankie is a guy I used to fight against. We're good friends, I guess." he shrugged.

"And the money?" I frowned even deeper.

Hunter sighed. "He lent me some money a while ago, for Blaze's operation. But obviously I have to pay it back. I got the money from what was left of the earnings of my last fight."

Dylan just continued eating his noodles, not caring about anything that was going on at the moment. All he could see was food and more food. He didn't even say anything about me passing out. This whole time I've been talking with Hunter and Dylan his mouth has been filled with noodles ever since. I just don't know how the hell there's still left for him to fill his big mouth. I looked at Dylan and he grinned at me. I cringed in disgust when I saw a small piece of a noodle stuck onto his teeth.

  "You're fucking disgusting." Hunter sighed.

"Yeah, tell me something I don't know." Dylan stuffed his mouth again.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "I'm going to say this one more time," I looked at Hunter. "You," I pointed at him. "and Dylan," I pointed at Dylan. "Should marry each other."

Dylan almost choked and Hunter's jaw dropped. This just made me laugh hard enough to make my stomach hurt. Hunter and Dylan looked at each other with disgust written onto their faces, and scowled. But then suddenly Dylan his expression changed and he grinned at Hunter with a flirty look.

"Hunter," he started as he placed his noodles next to him on the table. "I say leave this crazy chick, and run away with me. I will show you a whole new world." he smirked. "I'll fly you to the moon if you know what I mean." he had a smug look on his face.

By this time, I was dying because I couldn't stop laughing. Dylan just brought joking to a whole new level. I laughed so hard, I almost fell on the floor. As for Hunter, he just sat next to me with a shocked look on his face, processing what he just heard. Hunter was just staring at Dylan. Not blinking, not even moving his eyes; just fucking staring at Dylan as if he just witnessed something that scarred him for life.

"I..." he said, but stopped. Then he opened his mouth again, and then closed it again. "I'm just done with you, you fucker." Hunter said and got up from the couch. "I'm going to buy Zoe some food and come up with a plan to make you disappear, fucker." Hunter walked to the door.

I was laughing so hard, I felt tears fall out of my eyes. This was really too much. Hunter walked out of the house and Dylan started laughing too. We tried getting silent again, but we just started laughing again.

I seriously loved days like these. It was nice to forget your problems for a while and have fun. Finally Dylan and I simmered down and I walked to the kitchen to get myself some water. I took a glass and poured some cold water out of the fridge in it. As I drank my water, I heard a loud noise and a few gunshots.

"Zoe!" I heard Dylan his voice and I dropped the glass on the floor, shattering it into small pieces.

I ran out of the kitchen, only to see Dylan standing there and three unknown men standing there wearing masks and holding guns. Seriously now!? Dylan made a move to hurt them and help ourselves out, but the guy behind Dylan hit him at the back of his head with a baseball bat and Dylan collapsed to the floor. Where did the baseball bat even come from!?

I wanted to run over to Dylan, but one of the men held me by my arm and smirked at me. "You're coming with us, Tony's little Angel."

  Chapter Twenty-Nine

I felt myself shaking and sweating. I took a deep breath and slowly opened my eyes. I attempted to shield my eyes from the bright sunlight, but only realized that my hands were tied behind my back. I frowned and tried to free myself, only to fail after several attempts. I felt myself wiggling again and that's when I realized that I was in a car with the three men. There was one next to me who was asleep, and the other two in the front just looked ahead of them.

I wanted to open my mouth and talk to them, probably yell at them, but I couldn't because even my mouth was taped shut. I tried to get it off, but obviously that wasn't going to work. Well, at least it's not like that one nightmare where Tony kidnaps me and sews my mouth shut. After a while I just gave up and stared out the window.

What would have happened if Hunter was home?

What will happen when Hunter gets home?

I just hope that he doesn't kill Dylan for not being able to keep me safe. I suddenly felt all depressed again. I wish I had done something to save myself. All I did was scream and yell at them to leave me alone. I didn't even fight back for myself. Everything Hunter taught me just went to waste because of me being so pathetic. The car suddenly stopped and I looked at the guys in the front.

The driver turned around and grinned at me. They had pulled off their masks, so now I knew what he looked like. The driver had brown hair, looked a bit older than thirty, and had this smug look on his face. The other one in the front looked very much younger. I would guess him to be around eighteen. He had green eyes, a rather smaller body than mine since he was so skinny, and had black hair. The one next to me still had his stupid mask on.

"I see the Angel is awake." the guy with the brown hair said, making my eyes grow wide.

Now this bitch was going to call me Angel. I was supposed to have a nice image of an Angel in my head, but instead of that, Tony his creepy face and boiling hot water appeared in my head. A shiver ran down my spine as I started to get even more afraid. Last time it was boiling hot water, and even a fucking knife stabbed in my stomach. Who knows what it might be this time. The guys stepped out of the car and one of them opened my door, while the other one opened the other door.

The younger looking guy picked me up bridal-style and I did my best to get out of his arms, but his grip was firm. I squinted, I jumped, I wiggled, I attempted to scream, but nothing worked. Tears streamed down my face as he carried me into this house that was just a few hundred meters away from us. I did my best to get out of his hands, but he wouldn't let go. I could sense him getting annoyed, but I didn't care. I kept trying to wiggle out of his arms, only to just fail.

I still didn't give up. I kept wiggling and wiggling to get out of their grasp, but nothing helped. They dragged me into the house and what did I see? Tony sitting on the couch with a cocky smirk on his face. My eyes grew wide as he got up and walked over to me. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and just smirked at me, but the smirk soon vanished and he frowned. He looked behind me, and then at the guys.

"Where is the guy?" he asked.

"Sir, Hunter wasn't there, but there was another guy. He went unconscious." they said and I knew they were talking about Dylan.

"You fucking idiots!" he got angry. "You were supposed to bring him here too!"

  "But, sir, we didn't know—"

"Shut up and leave!" Tony cut them off.
