Taken by the Kingpin

A gentle knock came from the door, and Sal, Carver’s second-in-command and one of his best friends, appeared.
She hadn’t been too sure of Sal at first, but soon realized that like Carver, he was a good man underneath despite her initial impression of him. Like with Carver, she could see he was a good man and one she trusted to have Carver’s back.
“You ready?” he asked.
“Ready as I can be,” she answered, smiling when he offered his arm.
She walked up to him and took it, so he could escort her to the man who’d soon become her husband. They emerged from the small room in the church so she could prepare. Carver told her she could have the biggest, grandest wedding in the city’s history, but crowds made her nervous. Besides, this day was for the two of them. She’d declined, preferring a small ceremony instead. They compromised and invited all the important guests and Carver’s allies to the reception instead.
Sal agreed to walk her down the aisle, because the last time she paid her father a visit, they had their biggest fight yet because he refused to let his daughter marry a monster.
His refusal still left a dent in her heart, but it wasn’t like she could ever count on him to be there for her. In hindsight, even if he agreed, he’d only make trouble or cause some kind of scene. Carver only tolerated and allowed Larry to continue to live because he was his father. She long ago gave up on ever forming some kind of relationship with Larry. She only visited him as a kind of courtesy.
Sal would have to do.
“Don’t worry,” Sal said. “You look gorgeous.”
“Thanks,” she whispered back.
Sal pushed opened the doors, and they stepped into the aisle. Yasmin only had her eyes on her man. She could barely see the small number of guests they’d chosen or hear the piano. Carver looked amazing in his fitted black suit, his gaze solely pinned on her ever since she walked in.
She could barely feel her feet move. It was like they had a life of their own. She thought she’d topple over her heels, but it felt like she glided towards him, like some magnetic force compelled her towards her soul mate. Soul mate, yes, that was word.
Who could have imagined that ten years ago, the broken man in the alleyway would eventually become her husband and the most feared man in the city?
He flashed a familiar wolfish grin at her, all hunger and naked need. She shuddered in anticipation, already feeling hot in her dress. It felt like an eternity, but Sal let her go so she could stand with Carver. He held her hands in his, gave them a squeeze, and stole one quick, fleeting kiss that left her yearning for more. The priest cleared his throat, his words inaudible to her ears.
Her heart hammered against her chest as she gazed into the eyes of the man she was about to spend the rest of her life with. It felt like she’d waited her entire life for this one moment. He said his vows and she fumbled over hers, but that didn’t seem to matter, even though she’d spent hours trying to get them perfect.
“I promise to honor and cherish you for the rest of my life,” she whispered. “To stand by you even when the rest of the world turns its back on you.”
Carver seldom showed emotions in front of others, but this moment, his rough and handsome face softened. Yasmin could tell her words meant the world to him.
The thick gold band he slipped into her finger was a perfect fit, and the matching band she slipped into his ring finger complemented it. There. They were bound until death did them part.
“You may kiss the bride,” the priest said after they exchanged rings.
This time, Carver didn’t hold back. He gripped her close and took her mouth, thrusting his tongue down her throat. She held onto his biceps, wanting to be out of her expensive dress so their skin could touch. He pulled away, leaving her panting, and playfully nipped at her ear.
Her nipples tightened, the buds sensitive against the lace of her white bra. Moisture flooded between her legs, and she pulled her thighs closed, painfully aware she had no underwear on, as per his request. She could envision him slipping his big inked hand past the folds of fabric, seeking her soaking cunt, and flushed.
“Wait a little longer, angel. Be good and once we’re alone, you’re mine to ruin,” he said quietly against her ear.
She shivered but had a comeback for her husband. “You’ve already done that. My body, heart, and soul are yours to keep.”
He leaned in for another, gentler kiss. “And I’ll treasure you for the rest of my life, angel.”
Chapter Thirteen
“Finally, I get you all to myself,” Carver said once they slipped back inside the car and waved their final goodbyes to the crowd.
“Have I been a good and patient wife?” she asked with a blush as he gathered her close.
Yasmin slipped into his lap and put her arms around his neck. Carver pressed the button, and a divider rose between them and the driver. He set his teeth on her pulse, and she shuddered. Carver unzipped her slowly, carefully, as if he were unwrapping a present, and used his fingers to trace her spine. The sensation of his callused fingers against her bare skin was a welcome one.
He bent his head and plundered her mouth without restraint, deepening the kiss when she parted her lips. Carver slid her top lower, along with her strapless bra, baring her breasts. The cool air hardened her nipples, and she moaned when he lowered his head and took one to his mouth. She groaned, feeling his hand slide up her leg, past the gauzy fabric to gain access to her exposed pussy.
“Already so wet for me, angel?” he asked, playing with the folds of her pussy lips.
“I’ve been wet for you since we exchanged our vows,” she answered, teasing a rumble of what sounded like approval from his chest.
He grazed lightly at the bud with his teeth and rolled his tongue around it, before biting down, leaving a perfect imprint of his mark there. She squirmed on his lap, but he held her captive, making her entire body hyperaware. Carver continued rubbing at her between her legs, her clit, building the growing pressure inside of her until she felt ready to burst.
Her husband left another bite on her other breast, grinning as he said, “Now they match. I want to mark you all up, pretty wife. To remind you that everything of you—tits, pussy, ass, all of you, including the heart beating in that chest, belongs to me.”
She could only moan in response.
“Repeat everything back to me,” he ordered, and that firm voice turned her entire body hot, made her feel so alive.
“All of me belongs to you, tits, pussy, ass, heart. All of me,” she whispered.
“That’s perfect.” He undid the zipper of his trousers. Taking initiative, she reached for his dick. He didn’t reprimand her for that but watched her with the glazed looked of a predator as she curled her fingers around his shaft and began to work him. He groaned, taking her mouth again. She faltered, but he put his fingers on hers, encouraging her to continue.
After he released her mouth, she watched eagerly as he went from half to full mast.
“Tell me how much you want this cock in your tight little pussy,” he said.
“Very badly,” she whispered.
“Good answer.” He hiked her skirts further up and positioned his engorged prick to her slick entrance. Carver gripped her hips, and she held onto his shoulders as he finally breached her, not stopping once until he fully sheathed himself inside her slit. She gasped at the slight burn, but knew he’d soon replace that with ecstasy.
He began thrusting in and out of her. She bounced on his lap, meeting him for every entry, crying out as he went faster, deeper, not caring if the driver heard them.
“Mine, all mine finally,” he uttered against her ear.
“I was always yours,” she whispered, rubbing her super sensitive breasts against his shirt. “I love you.”
“I love you so fucking much, too, Yas,” he said automatically, the words instantly setting her heart aflame.
He held her hips harder and shifted his hips and slammed into her G-spot. It felt like she
For a moment, she floated in a sea of complete and utter bliss.
Carver pumped in and out of her several more times. Yasmin was pretty sure he was about to come, but he pulled out, face strained and reached for something in his back pocket. Lube. Barely recovering from her orgasm, she blushed, aware of what came next. Carver had been talking about taking her in the ass for a while.
“Hold your skirts up,” he commanded. She did just that, feeling the cool liquid on her other hole, and then Carver pushing one finger in. She whimpered. The sensation was odd and yet not unpleasant. He added a second, closely watching her expression the entire time.
“Can you really fit in there?” she asked, glancing at his fully erect and very impressive cock.
“I will. You’ll take this dick in you, won’t you, sweet wife?”
She nodded, excited by the prospect of Carver sliding his dick there, in that forbidden place. He added a second finger and began making twisting motions.
“Touch yourself.”
She began rubbing at her pussy, already aching and sensitive from his earlier use, but she was also incredibly turned on by Carver prepping her ass for his access.
“Done,” he said after applying more lube inside her ass.
She held onto his shoulders as he rubbed his cockhead into her other entrance. Yasmin widened her eyes at the first inch. A burn started, but she knew it was only momentary.
“Breathe, angel. That’s it. Relax.”
Yasmin willed her inner muscles to relax as he pushed his way in. Once he slid his cockhead past the thick stubborn ring of muscles, it went a lot easier. He pulled out, only to slide back in, slow and steady, until he managed to sheathe his prick fully inside her ass.
“I didn’t say you could stop pleasuring yourself.”
She slid two fingers inside her, moaning and rubbing at her pussy as he began hammering in and out of her ass.
“God,” she whispered. “This feels unexpectedly good.”
“Fuck yeah, it does.”
The dual sensation of her fingering herself and Carver sliding in and out of her, proved too much. Her tits started to ache, and she began furiously rubbing her chest against him, seeking relief.
“Fuck yourself on your fingers again.”
She pushed three fingers inside her dripping cunt, groaning as he continued pistoning in and out of her.
“Come for me again, angel. Do it now,” he ordered.
She gasped, clawing at his back as she exploded, mind hazing once again. They hadn’t even gotten to their honeymoon yet.
A few pumps in and out of her and he let out a groan, filling her ass with warmth. She rested her head against his chest, feeling well fucked by her husband, contented. Languidness filled her limbs, and she must have fallen asleep, because she woke up to his kiss later. She opened her eyes to slits, aware of him zipping her dress back up. He must have cleaned her up between her legs while she’d dozed off, too.
“Oh no, are we there?” she asked.
“We’re here.” He grinned and opened the door, letting her head out first.
Confusion filled her for a moment, as she realized where they were—a private airstrip. Parked a few meters from them was a private jet. Then she gasped and hugged him as he got out of the car.
“You mentioned you always wanted to see the world, so we’re doing that for our honeymoon,” he said, automatically catching her, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
“But what about your businesses?” she asked.
“Sal will take care of things while I’m gone, and besides, I’m always reachable on my cell, but only if it’s an emergency. It’s your time and mine, baby. Making you happy is my number one priority.”
Tears filled her eyes. Damn this man. He always seemed to be able to make her cry. Carver leaned in, kissing her tears away.
“Are those tears of happiness?” he asked.
“Of course they are,” she blurted. “Carver, you just made me the happiest wife on earth.”
“And it’s just the beginning, angel,” he said, flashing her that infectious grin. “You ready to go on this new adventure with me, wife?”
“Very ready, husband.”
Epilogue
Two Years Later
“Shh, Ben, I’ll sing you your favorite song,” Yasmin crooned to her son.
She sang “Twinkle, Twinkle” to him once, and he went out like a log as usual. His small snores made her giggle. Yasmin lowered him to his day crib and pulled a blanket over his small body. She pressed a kiss to his tiny forehead, which only had a few tufts of black hair.
“You’ll grow up to be a stunner, just like your dad,” she whispered.
She walked up to the windows, about to draw the drapes closed in case the sunlight would wake Ben up, but she paused. The view of the city’s skyline sill made her smile. She recalled how two years ago, she’d woken up in this very apartment, confused and bedazzled by everything that had happened since her father tried to sell her out to pay his debts.
Plenty of things had happened since Carver took her as his wife. They’d had Ben, the most precious gift to them. True to his promise, Carver took the first few steps to slowly legitimizing some of his businesses. While some of his men didn’t like the change, plenty of loyal ones stayed with him to help run his companies. Carver explained that the journey wouldn't be easy, that it would take years for their dream to come true, but he wasn't giving up and neither was she. They still had plenty of enemies, but Yasmin never once felt unsafe. She knew without a doubt that her man would do anything to keep their family safe.
As for Larry, her father made a full one-hundred-eighty degree turn after learning she was pregnant with Ben. He’d cleaned up, worked two jobs, got a real loan from a bank and was slowly paying off his debts. Larry also hadn’t had a drink in a year. Time would still tell if he could maintain his good behavior, but she was confident he could for the sake of seeing his grandson—and his other future grandchild.
Nervous butterflies fluttered in her stomach. Carver had been away on a business trip for three weeks, so she hadn’t been able to tell him the news she was pregnant again. They’d been trying for another kid so long, and now, it finally happened. Carver had initially asked if she wanted her and Ben to come along with him during the trip, but that meant bringing their nanny and making plenty of other arrangements. Besides, she knew if they were there, Carver would be distracted.
Her man was a family man and a devoted husband through and through. She and Ben always came first to him, business a far second. Yasmin had been so distracted, she hadn’t heard the door open. When Carver’s familiar solid arms went around her waist, she sighed and leaned against him. He gently spun her by the shoulder and goddamn it. Three weeks made her lonely, horny as hell for her husband.
It seemed he felt the same way, because he yanked her close, until their bodies touched and he gave her a rough and deep kiss. Carver knew exactly what she needed. Pressing a hand to his chest, she kissed him back fervently.
“I fucking missed you, too damn much. I’m never going on a trip that long ever again,” Carver grumbled. The way he eyed her up and down made her shiver in anticipation and excitement, even now. Carver looked ready to toss her over his shoulder and have his way with her in the bedroom. “Hmm. Ben’s asleep, too.”
Carver parted from her for a moment, to give his son a kiss. Back when she’d been pregnant, Carver had worried about being a good father, because he’d never had a father figure his entire life, just indifferent foster parents. In the end, Carver had nothing to worry about, because Ben had the best father in the world. This trip was the longest Carver had been apart from them, and he’d only done it because he was expanding his business in Asia.
“Listen, before we get to the good part,” she began.
He raised his eyebrows at her. “The best part,” he corrected.
“I have some news.” She clasped her hands.
Looking concerned, he neared her again and gave her hands a squeeze. “What happened?”
She let out a breath and gave it to him. “I’m pregnant again.”
Carver widened his eyes, pulled her so tightly in his arms, and practically lifted her off her feet and began kissing her. She laughed, unable to help herself, because he was clearly excited.
“You’re happy about the news, I take it?” she asked.
“Fuck yeah, I am. Plus, I’ve always wanted another kid after Ben.” Carver set her down and hugged her close. “I love you so much.”
Two years and counting, and Yasmin hadn’t gotten tired of hearing those words. She gazed into the eyes of her man, her soul mate, and said the words back.
“I love you, too.”

Prologue
Ten Years Ago
Liliana Hurley gripped the current page of her book so tightly, the page ripped. That seemed wrong to her. The characters in her books were her friends. People, she never fully understood, not in her four years of high school either. Noticing she’d been reading upside down, she let out a huff and set it down. She didn’t remember the title, except it was one of her reading assignments, or what chapter she’d been on.
