  Acknowledgments

What an eye-opening experience this has been to all the generosity existing in this world. I am forever grateful to the people who lended me their ears or time during the creation of Ferrous. From marking grammatical errors to nodding along as I overshared, you played a part in making this happen.

Thank you to my husband, who listened to all things Ferrous for months on end as writing became my new drug. I promise I love you more than my book boyfriends.

Thank you to my parents for all the encouragement and reminders that I am worthy.

Big thanks to my coworkers who didn’t blush when I announced I was writing a book with four love interests.

I have huge amounts of appreciation for my beta readers, who figured out I’ve never ridden a horse or formally studied English. Your enthusiasm in helping this baby author will forever be treasured.

Thank you to my cover artist Christian Bentulan for making our girl Mal come alive.

Finally, I want to include a huge shout out to the reverse harem readers and authors for paving the way and inspiring me. I love our community.

  About the Author

Valerie Mars hails from Alaska: Land of the Midnight Sun. Do you know how late you can write into the wee hours when the moon isn't there telling you to sleep?

Commuting to school by moose, Valerie earned a Bachelors in Japanese before teaching English in Japan. After being high-fived 525,600 times by Japanese school children, she returned to Alaska and worked on an oil field. Seeing all those pipes got her thinking she'd like to write Reverse Harem Romance, so that's what she did. When not spilling salsa on her keyboard, Valerie enjoys renovating furniture, playing piano or ukulele, and looking the wrong way in elevators.
