“So if any of you pregnant bitches want to tag along and meet our friend ‘The Mouse’, see the sights and party hardy, I just want you to know you’re welcome. No danger in getting pregnant now.”

“Well, that’s all I’ve got to say.” I hand the mike back to the Principal and take my seat again, it wasn’t the most brilliant of impromptu speeches, in fact, it was a bit awkward, but it was from the heart. There is a bit of a clap, not from everyone, but from quite a few, and after a moment or two, all the girls on stage are all standing and giving me a bit of an ovation, so I guess there’s that.

Katie Underfell even leans forward from where she was sitting behind me to touch my shoulder. “Well said, Amura.” What? Well there you go, I guess that memory loss compulsion I put on her is still in place… otherwise, I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have said that.

“That was awkward, and highly inappropriate,” Gil whispers in my ear, as we all settle down.

“Yes, but it was heartfelt inappropriateness,” I tell her.

Well, that didn’t go so bad. I’m actually glad I’m in this ceremony now, it’s much better than the full year one would have been, apparently that one goes on for over three hours. With fewer people they can keep this one really short, which is good because most of us girls will have to pee soon. Oh, time to yell and throw our hats in the air. I guess this marks another ending, and each ending is another death to celebrate, I’m going to put the diploma on the wall at home. I look across at Master, and he winks at me. Home. Home is a bit hollow without Pulania, I think I’ll have her sooner rather than later, the place isn’t the same without her, but she will definitely grow up wearing knickers, that’s a certainty. I’ll have to talk to Eppy about bringing little Ruby over for visits, too, when she’s born. Susan and my house will always be open to both of them, and to Ruby’s daughter. After all, as strange as we are, as undesirable, and weird, I guess we’re a coven of our own, and who knows what sort of trouble we might create. Yep, there’s that to look forward to.
