Surrender to Me

I laugh and shake my head at her. “Sorry, babe, but it’s staying on.” I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her. I bring my mouth close to her ear, smiling when she gets the chills. “I plan to have some fun with it later.” She turns around to face me and laughs.

Taking the simple black dress, she slips it on over the corset, completely concealing the fact that it’s even there. She sits down, takes off the thigh highs and heels and replaces them with a shorter, less painful looking pair of shoes. The last thing she does is take off the wig and the makeup.

“You ready to go back to your party?”

“Didn’t you pack any underwear, babe?”

She shakes her head and chuckles. “I didn’t count on someone ripping them to shreds and not being able to wear them.” She takes my hand and we start walking back out to the club.

“You know we aren’t staying here long, right?” Knowing what she had—and didn’t have—on under that dress, there’s no way I can handle being here much longer. She gives me a coy smile and just keeps on walking.

When we walk back into the main part of the club, everyone surrounds us wishing me a happy birthday; I don’t think I’ve even met half of these people before. That’s the way it is, though; people don’t care about knowing you, they just want to be around you or at least brag to their friends that they hung out with you.

I escort Becca over to the bar and order us a couple of drinks, but all I can think about is leaving. I normally don’t mind being at these events, but tonight all I want to do is take her back to the hotel and lock us in for the night. The music is pumping and Becca is standing in front of me, moving her body against mine. I still haven’t calmed down from earlier and her rubbing up against me is pushing me over the edge. I lower my head down to her ear and rub my chin across the sensitive part of her neck. “Say goodbye to all of these idiots because I’m taking you back to the room in exactly two minutes.”

I don’t even know if I give her the full two minutes before I’m pulling her out of the club and into the limo. It was a struggle to make it the whole car ride without taking her again, but once we get to the hotel I pick her up, toss her over my shoulder, and run down the hallway to the elevator. I push her against the wall before the doors even close and my hands are roaming all over her body. When the doors finally open on our floor, I pick her up again and sprint to our room, quickly sliding the key card, and letting us in. The door barely closes all the way when we resume what we started in the elevator.

I hope the neighbors don’t plan on sleeping tonight.

It’s been four days since Luke’s birthday and it’s like I flipped a switch in him that night. He’s been insatiable lately, not that I’m complaining. He was in meeting about the new album all day today and I’m going to get some shopping done. We’re going to be in his hometown this weekend, which means I’m going to be meeting the rest of his family. I want to pick up something for his parents and we need a couple of necessities for the road.

Living on tour is so much more different than I expected it to be. I would think being able to be in a new city every night and traveling would be exciting, but everything is so rushed that there isn’t much time to enjoy the places that we go. I can tell that Luke feels torn about the whole experience; he loves playing shows and getting to perform but he can’t stand the time demands that a tour presents.

We usually only see each other in the mornings and at night after the shows. Although we have lost some time together, he’s still very attentive…in and out of the bedroom. He makes sure I have everything I need; he’s even finding ways to sneak money into my wallet every now and then. Of course, I always try to find ways to give it back to him. I love that he wants to take care of me and trusts that I’m not with him for the money, but I really don’t feel comfortable taking it. Jen always yells at me and says I’m taking away his man card by not letting him take care of me, but I refuse to be one of those girls who can’t support themselves. The biggest problem with being on tour is that I can’t work and my bank account is pretty meager at this point.

I pick up a candle set for Luke’s mom because he always talks about how different smells remind him of his mom’s candles. I really want them to like me because the way he talks about them shows me how much they mean to him. There will definitely be trouble in paradise if his family doesn’t approve of me. When I get back to the hotel, the paparazzi are everywhere and this is the first time I’ve ever had to deal with them all by myself. I hand the keys to the valet and make my way toward the crowd in front of the entrance to the hotel.

It still amazes me how rough and in your face they can be. They stand in front of me, trying to block my way so I’ll look up and give them the shot they’re trying for. They’re all shouting questions that make me flinch like ‘do you really think you can please him much longer?’, ‘what do you do for him that the other girls couldn’t?’, and my favorite, ‘are you pregnant?’ It’s like having your worst fears and insecurities screamed at you on a daily basis.

I finally make it to our room and hear my phone ding with a text message. When I look down at it I see the last person I expected.

Jackson: Hey will you stop by my room? I have something I want to talk to you about.

What the heck does he want to talk to me about? I haven’t spoken to him since I told him how I felt about him stealing the song from Luke. Maybe he wants to apologize. Either way, it couldn’t really hurt to just go talk to him, right?

Me: What is your room number?

Jackson: I’m right down the hall from you guys in room 560

I grab my room key and head down the hall. I know Luke would hate this and Jen would probably tell me I was being a naïve idiot, but I am just really curious as to what he wants. Unfortunately I’ve always been really trusting of people, which usually backfires on me. When I get to his room he opens the door and invites me in. I sit down on the chair in the living room. He sits down across from me but doesn’t say anything. “What’s going on, Jackson?”

He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees and looks up at me. “Listen, I get that you’re pissed at me, Becca.” He lowers his head and runs his hands through his hair. “I miss you. Every time I see you with him it pisses me off. He doesn’t appreciate you and he doesn’t deserve you. I want you, Becca, and I want you to know you have options.”

What the hell? Is he serious right now? I honestly have no idea what to say to him. I mean, aside from hanging out during a couple of Luke’s shows, I’ve spent no actual time around Jackson. I can see now how ridiculous it was that I even came to meet him. “I need to go.” I stand up, but so does he, and he grabs my hand.

“No, you need to hear this. You need to know how I feel about you. I can treat you right if you just give me the chance.”

I pull my hand away from him and meet his eyes. “No, Jackson, I love Luke and I have no intention of leaving him for you. He’s the one I want to be with and if that pisses you off then that’s too damn bad. I can’t believe that you asked me to come here for this.” I turn to leave, but before I know what’s happening, Jackson grabs my arm, spins me around, and kisses me. I pulled back immediately and slap him right across the face. “Don’t you ever touch me again; don’t even look at me because I swear if you do you will regret it.”

I storm out and hurry back to my room. My phone is ringing and I realize that I must have left it on the bed. Luke’s calling me; what am I supposed to do? Do I tell him about Jackson or just let it go? I mean, I think I handled it and I really don’t want to cause more tension between them because they have to work together for another month and a half.

  “Hello?”

“Hey babe, I was in between meetings and I wanted to see what you were up to.”

Oh nothing, just getting molested by the Justin Beiber wannabe that’s on tour with you. I can only imagine his reaction if I actually said that. “Nothing. I went out and got your mom a candle set today b
ecause I want to be able to give her something when we go there to visit this weekend.”

“That was nice of you, babe, did you take the credit card I left for you?”

Ugh, him and his damn card. Every day, he leaves me the credit card that he had issued in my name. He assures me it doesn’t have a huge limit and I shouldn’t feel weird about using it, but I do. “No, Luke, I tell you every day that I’m not going to use it.”

  “Damn it, Becca, why not?”

“Because I don’t need to, Luke. I’m not with you for your money and I really don’t want it. You already pay for everything else.”

“So what? I have it, Becca, and I want you to use it. I want to take care of you and give you everything that you want.”

God I love him so much. It amazes me how sweet and tender he can be, especially with as rough and aggressive as he’s been lately. “All I want is you, Luke.”

“And you have me, babe, but I also come with a lifestyle and I want you to embrace it.” I hear someone talking to him in the background. “I need to get back in there; I’ll see you in a couple hours, right?”

“Yes, I’ll meet you there before the show.”

  “Okay, love you, babe.”

  “Love you, too, rock star.”

When I arrive at the venue, I head straight for Luke’s room. I open the door and see Samantha standing in the middle of his room; I so do not feel like dealing with her right now.

“Hi Becca, I didn’t think you would be here.”

“And why wouldn’t I be here, Samantha?” She laughs and walks over closer to me. I can tell that she’s trying to intimidate me; girls like her always do this but I’m done being a doormat for people.

“Oh, I don’t know. I just figured after what Lucas did with that dancer on his birthday you would have left him. I mean, everyone saw the way he was looking at her, and he followed her backstage afterward, too. You’re innocent, but I’m sure I don’t need to tell you what happens when a guy goes backstage with a dancer.”

She breezes past me and out the door with an air of confidence. All I can do is laugh because she has no idea that Luke’s dancer was me. While I want to chase after her and rub the fact that I was the dancer in her face, I don’t. I think the main reason is I really could care less what she thinks.

Luke walks in a few minutes later. “Hey, I saw Samantha coming from this direction. What did she want?”

I smile and walk over to him. “She just thought she would let me know about the secret affair you had with that dancer at your birthday party.” I lean up and kiss him. I miss him so much during the day and I really appreciate any time that we’re able to spend together.

“Hmmm, well that dancer did show me an amazing time that night.” He starts to kiss my neck. “At the club and then twice in the hotel room.” I start to laugh. “I cannot wait until this tour is over. I plan on taking at least two months off before we release the album. I know people usually fight to get things out as fast as they can, but this time I’m not in that much of a rush.”

“Why are you taking time off, Luke? You love what you do.”

“That’s true, but I love you, too. We haven’t had any time together lately, Becca, and I want that. I want to wake up together, spend the day doing different things and then be able to fall asleep together. I want us to be able to get to know everything about each other without needing to schedule in time to spend with each other.” He lowers his head and kisses me.

Being able to have Luke to myself for two months sounds like heaven. Our relationship had started out and developed so fast that I think time alone together where we don’t need to worry about anything else is just what we need. He kisses me again, but we’re interrupted when someone knocks on the door and gives him his five minute warning.

As we’re walking down the hallway my phone dings, letting me know I have an email. When I open it up it’s from my bank alerting me to a direct deposit I’ve received. This seems strange to me because I haven’t worked in forever and it’s not like I have family that would ever just give me money. When I check the amount my mouth drops open and I immediately stop walking.

Luke looks down at me. “What’s wrong?”

“Please tell me why I just got an email from the bank telling me that $100,000 was deposited into my bank account?!”

He smiles and presses a kiss to my forehead. “I have no idea; it must have been a gift from an angel or something.”

“Luke, this is not funny! I know you did this! How the hell did you even get my bank information?”

“Calm down, Becca, you can find any information when you hire the right people. I’ve been trying to be reasonable and just get you to use the card I gave you but you refuse.”

“This is not okay Luke, you can’t just…” He yanks me into the closest room to us, locks the door, and backs me against the wall.

“Listen to me, Becca, this is not up for debate. I put that money in there so I know that if you ever need or want anything you can have it. It’s not even that much, so chill out. If you think about trying to give it back to me, I’ll just have to hire someone to follow you around and pay for everything before you get the chance.”

He grabs my ass with both hands and lifts me so that I’m eye level with him. He crushes his mouth to mine and when he pulls back, he drags his teeth over my bottom lip. “I’ve told you before that you’re mine and I meant it. I will take care of you whether you like it or not, and if I didn’t think that someone would come looking for us any minute I would take you right here just to prove it to you.” He kisses me again, invading my mouth and overtaking my entire soul with his passion. When he lowers me back to the ground I feel like Bambi trying to figure out how to walk for the first time. My knees are weak and I’m completely engrossed in him. I need him and I hate that I can hear people calling his name already in the hallway.

He takes my hand, leads me out of the little room, and we finish our journey toward the stage. I can barely look at him when it’s time to say goodbye, because my body is screaming for him. He smirks at me like he knows exactly what’s going through my mind. He bows his head and trails a line of kisses up my neck and then over to my lips. “I’ll see you after the show, gorgeous.”

I stand where he left me, dumbfounded, as he walks toward the stage and various people surround him to get him hooked up to his microphone and make sure he has everything he needs. I pulled out my phone to text Jen because I need some distraction from the fire that he’s lit inside of me.

Me: So you will never guess what just happened…

Jen: Hmmm I’m hoping it’s something exciting because I am bored as all hell right now

Me: Lucas found out my bank info and had his accountant deposit $100,000 in there! I was so mad at him that I could have killed him!

Jen: Mad at him for what? I swear to God girl you are the only person I know that would get pissed when her rich and famous boyfriend deposits loads of cash in her account. Be a real woman and go buy a purse and a pair of shoes!

Me: Whatever Jen, you know I’m not like that. Anyway when I confronted him about it he got all hot alpha male on me, turned me on, and then left me hanging.

Jen: What?! Now that is something to be pissed about! You need to teach that boy a lesson!

Me: Teach him a lesson? How in the heck could I do that?

Jen: I think you should go make a trip to Victoria’s Secret with your new found money and leave him wondering where you went. Then when he comes home you can model what you bought and get your relief…

That’s actually not a bad idea. It’s only nine o’clock and I know most malls are open until ten. Besides that, there’s no way I can watch him move around on that stage with as worked up as I am right now. I walk back to his room, grab my purse and the car keys and set off for the store.

  Lucas

I run off stage and toward my dressing room as soon as the show is over. Becca had left after the first song, and I can’t explain it, but so
mething just felt off when I would look out into the crowd and not see her. When I open the door to the dressing room it’s empty. Where the hell could she have gone?

I pick up my phone to see if I have any missed calls or texts from her and there’s one text message. It’s a picture of a Victoria’s Secret shopping bag with a message that says, “You left me hanging, now it’s your turn…” My mouth drops open and I’m out the door. I grab Casey and tell him I need a ride back to the hotel…now.

Whose idea was it to book my hotel twenty minutes from the venue? Casey is looking at me like I’m crazy because I’m fidgeting like a damn crack addict. As soon as he pulls up to the hotel I yell out a quick thanks, jump out of the car, and make a run for the elevator. I’m tempted to take the stairs up to our floor but the elevator finally shows up. When I get to our room I head straight for the bedroom but she isn’t there. Instead, I find a note on the bed, and as soon as I read it I yell out in frustration.

  Luke,

You tested my patience by getting me all worked up earlier and then leaving me. Your turn is still not over yet. I’ve changed rooms and I will send you one digit of the room number every fifteen minutes. See you soon!

“Fuck!” My phone beeps and it’s Becca.

Becca: Patience, patience…The first digit of the room number is 1

That means that she’s on one of the higher floors because there are no rooms on the first floor. I pace the room and think of all of the ways I can get her back for this. My cock is so damn hard that I think it might rip a hole in my jeans; I need to find her soon. My phone beeps again.

Becca: The next digit is 5…

She’s on the fifteenth floor. Fuck this waiting shit, I’m going to bust down every damn door on fifteen until I find her. I take the elevator up and start at 1500 then work my way down. I’ve knocked on every damn door on the floor before my phone beeps again.

Becca: The next digit is 3
