“Okay, ummmm...” Margret was thinking quickly, “I'll have Bunny call up the company doctor and go there to patch her up while we go get her skin.”
“Oh and get Lily's too, ok?”
“Sure. On my way.” and Margret broke connection.
“Jeez Julie, I know you hurt inside, but now is not the time or place for too much emotions, ok?” Tammy said while blotting her cheek delicately with some gauze from a first aid box a stagehand came up with in a hurry.
Julie sniffled as tears wetted her eyes, “Yesssss...” and she whimpered like a child as Tammy dressed her wound.
Ep 26, Chapter 2
Margret thanked the concierge for opening the rooms so she could get the costumes, tipped him and then returned to the Lexus GS 4000 Anna was driving, while Jacqueline had been waiting in the back seat.
A Japanese man in a Hawaiian shirt rode in the passenger seat opposite Anna and he held two SMGs inside an attache case, just in case somebody made a bold move on Jacqueline or Margret.
They both wore a light weight low profile body armor which would resist small caliber gun fire although it would still deliver a painful punch and leave a nasty bruise.
The Lexus its self was an armored car, ballistic glass, ballistic panels, armored engine, belly pan, tires, internal oxygen and fire extinguishing systems.
If anybody was going to make a bold move, it would not necessarily stop everything, but it would reduce their window of opportunity.
Arriving at the venue, the two girls were escorted inside through a specially cleared hallway and the crew was set on special alert that there might be a move made on the two girls by any number of unknown assailants.
Ep 26, Chapter 3
The Shunokois had reached some important people in charge of the management of the venue and had permitted employees of the Shunokois household to enter the established both armed and with armor, bearing governmental security permits to bear arms in a public location in Japan.
Sadly, however, since Elaine had planted people in the staff of the venue, this all got back to her and she had them pull back.
“Damn!” she cursed silently to herself at this news, “They know something is up, so they are watching inside the venue proper.”
She closed the com with her inside agents and called another person.
“Hello?” she began.
“I didn't really expect you to be calling on me.” an oily, weaselly sounding voice came through.
“They blocked a direct move at the venue.” Elaine growled, “So we go with plan b.”
“I was hoping you would be calling to say that.” the oily, sinister voice said, “We'll take care of everything.”
“Make sure it is not linked back to – gotta go darling! Be good in school for mommy!” she cut the connection as a sleepy, hung over, still half stoned Janice stumbled into the room in a brown silk night robe which did not really conceal anything.
“Oh you're awake!” she turned, pretending to be surprised at Jannie’s entrance, “Did you sleep well?”
“Sleep?” Janice asked fuzzily, “Did we sleep any last night?” squinting at the glare of the light coming into the penthouse main living room through the immense four meter tall glass windows.
“They say, the best remedy for a hangover,” Elaine got up, reaching for two glasses and a bottle, “is to stay drunk!”
Ep 26, Chapter 4
The entire Shunokoi clan made a special pilgrimage to the event to see their beloved Jaqi-chan and her new wife Margret perform on the largest stage in the free world, with over half a million viewers in the massive arena and a hundred foot tall laser projection using falling drops of specially treated water to create a truly 3 dimensional image, no matter where you were in the building.
And the most amazing part of it was that no matter where you sat in the arena, you were still facing the singers as if you were facing the stage proper.
As the show opened with other bands beginning at 5:30 pm, the Shunokois all arrived later to avoid the fatigue of the loud music and the needless waiting in an uncomfortable setting for four and a half hours.
At 10 pm, Bleeding Cyanide came to the stage, and little Jacqueline was front and center, snuggled right up to Margret, holding onto her tightly, grinning as wide as her luscious lips would go, showing her two immense front teeth and her little baby teeth off each side waving at the screaming crowd.
“The first thing I want to announce to all of you here tonight,” Jacqueline began, taking command of the show this time, with her chirrupy voice, I want to introduce you to my dear sweet beloved, Mrs. Margret Anne Cooper-Shunokoi!”
As she called it out, she released Margret's waist and put forth her hand with the immense ten carat sapphire adjoined to a twenty five carat sapphire.
At the same time, Margret lifted her left hand as well, showing an equally stunning matching set.
The crowd fell into stunned silence for a moment.
“Yep!” Jacqueline said, “Last Saturday, just one week ago, we got married!” and she thrust her little left hand into the air making a victory sign.
Yui, filled with pride and emotions, suddenly and uncontrollably leapt up from the balcony seating and screamed, “That's my baby!!!”
After what seemed like a moment of stunned silence, the crowd thundered in applause.
Ep 26, Chapter 5
After the show, a large line of limousines were cued for all of the VIP guests, and due to an alert posted, several assistants were using black umbrellas and the media was not being allowed to film them as they left.
Unfortunately, since there were people on the inside, one man who got himself lined up with the band walked up, opened the door, and at the same time, slipped a tiny magnetized tracking device from his pocket into a hollow gap behind the skin of the door without anybody noticing.
As the door closed and the limo pulled ahead, however, to his chagrin, Anna and the other man pulled up along side on the side street, momentarily holding up traffic for Jacqueline and Margret to get in.
The door opposite the valet entry sprang open and the two made a hurried dash across the grass covered median and into the back door of the armored Lexus.
“Its a botch!” he suddenly commed in Japanese before leaping out between the limousines and firing a tracking dart at the trunk of the car which had made a smoking launch to escape.
Ep 26, Chapter 6
“C” she responded, totally unable to say out loud anything, “Just do C now.” and she disconnected.
“Huh?” Janice asked groggily.
“I said there are still parts of your luscious body I still want to 'see'!” Elaine said in a seductive tone as she rolled back over towards the obviously inebriated agent, “I don't want to leave your side until I have 'SEE'..n every single part of your lovely body!”
“Oh wow...” Janice produced a drunken chuckle as Elaine crawled up on top of her purring hungrily in the low light of the penthouse master bedroom.
Ep 26, Chapter 7
Everybody had heard the distinctive thump as the tracker had embedded in the normal metal outer skin of the car.
Clearly it was not a bullet, but a low velocity dart with a homing beacon built in.
To stop now would allow ground troops adequate time to surround them and isolate them.
The Lexus was out on the open freeway with no way to pull over any place safely to drop them off and not risk somebody tailing them by land, and if whomever it was, had any kind of air support, the Lexus was not going to outrun that.
“This is Car A,” Anna called, “Hit by homing device, over.”
“Car A we read you, over.”
“We can't shake our tail, need cover, over.”
“Copy that Car A,” came back a professional voice, “Sending air support to your signal, over.”
“With any luck,” Anna announced, “we can get enough interference to drop you two off some place and lead them from you.”
“Understoo
d.” Margret replied. “I may have to rely on my old skills as a hoodlum though,” she warned, “Might have to borrow a ride to get back safely.”
“Do what you have to.” Anna said, “Here.” she handed Margret a lipstick tube, “Its a tracker so we can send somebody else to get you.”
Margret took it and dropped it in her purse.
“This is Air 97Z to Car A, over.” came a new voice.
“This is Car A, go ahead, over.”
“Find a dust bath and fluff your feathers, over.”
“Roger that Air 97Z, over.” she replied, punching some buttons on her GPS system.
Images of city streets flashed up on the screen and she pointed at one of them, “See this girls?” she asked.
“I do,” Marge said.
“Well anyway, this is a bit of a rough part of town, but its easy to hide here, and there are a lot of public and private means of transportation in the area, because there is a major biker bar there.” she pulled out a lock picking device, “I bet you know how to use one of these.”
“Yes ma'am.”
“And you know what kinds of motorcycles can be run without digital interlock keys?” she asked.
“A few kinds ma'am.”
“Good.” she said, “Catch a ride and get to some place safe and wait for us there. Don't use your regular com because I think there is an area wide sweep on your number.”
“Yes ma'am.” Margret acknowledged.
“Okay, this is going to be rough, but it beats being dead or kidnapped, so be ready because I will not be stopping at the light at the intersection, I want you to both jump out and get in the shadows right away, then when traffic passes, you head here.” she pointed at the map.
“Yes ma'am.” the girls chorused.
Ep 26, Chapter 8
A hovering craft came from the horizon at a high rate of speed from the left, and then another came from some place behind them.
Seven cars were closing on them at ground level as they sped along at over 255 Km/H.
“They have fast cars AND air support!” the man growled in Japanese.
“Girls, this is your stop!” Anna said as the one vehicle from the left closed in, shining powerful search beams at the pursuing vehicles, causing them to slow, swerve and crash.
“Hold onto me tightly Bunny...” Marge said with a very edgy and nervous tone of anticipation in her voice.
“Okayyyy” Jacqueline replied, gritting her teeth prepared for the worst.
Anna took the exit ramp and without stopping, ran up on the sidewalk on the dark street where the lights of the overpass had been out for years and homeless people were now camping.
Narrowly missing some cardboard boxes with the car, she shouted “NOW!”
The door flung open and the two bodies launched out under Margret's power, landing on top of a pile of items in the dark, producing many loud cries, as they rolled over the tops of several sleeping homeless people before rolling to a stop.
By this time, the Lexus had already returned to the freeway, heading the other direction at full speed.
Dirty and sore, the two girls, dressed in top end clothing were grateful that in the darkness little could be made out.
Sure enough, several cars, some puffing steam from damaged radiators, sped by and back up the other side of the freeway in pursuit.
Stumbling away, they made it out from under the overpass and across a dimly lit street into the shade of overhanging trees, they began making their way toward the destination that they had been given on the map.
Ep 26, Chapter 9
Elaine had her com set on soft vibrate in hopes she would not illicit Janice's suspicions, but even while she was delving below the horizon of the agent's thighs, the com suddenly went off.
Trying to not react suspiciously, Elaine tilted her head so as to pull the come away from the woman's thighs and she rumbled deeply trying to mask the source of where the vibrations were coming from, but she knew too, that she had to answer this com to maintain control of the situation on the ground.
“Ummm...” she suddenly said, “Excuse me just a second baby, I need to use the restroom!” and she rose trying to be cute about it and daintily danced off to the bathroom where she quickly closed the door and began running the water.
Janice reached into her purse, and taking out a small recording device used to interview celebrities, she turned the gain all the way up and placed it back into her purse, which was open facing the wall above her head.
By the time Elaine returned, she had totally resumed her inebriated appearance, letting the wild Italian maverick have her way, for the time being.
Ep 26, Chapter 10
As the two walked along, bruised and sore, Margret felt as if she had hit a wall.
“Shit.” she gasped, “I think there must have been a fire hydrant in there some place!” holding her side.
One side of the street was houses, none of which were in the best of shape, and on the other was a heavily overgrown creek-way, which led under the freeway, opposite of the side they had initially been dropped off on.
They walked along in the shadows, trying to keep out of sight, and if cars or motorcycles passed by, they would hunker down in the brush along the side of the street.
Eventually they came to a place where the street and the creek parted ways and there they could see their goal in the distance.
Ahead was a biker bar several blocks down the street where motorcycles were all lined up, just waiting to be borrowed.
But suddenly, a car came down a side street, skidding to a stop as several rough looking men jumped out and surrounded the two tired girls.
One nasty looking man, covered with piercings and tattoos, said in a viscous yet oily tone, “Well boys, it looks like we got them finally, just like the boss planned!”
Episode 27
“Death Toll”
“Here your rocket scientist parents thought they had a top notch ace protecting you,” the oily voiced man mocked, “But the boss is no stranger to this world of intrigue herself.”
Jacqueline stayed right up against Margret but held tightly to her little hand bag, looking blankly while trying to listen and estimate the situation via her sonar abilities.
“Oh,” Margret said, “you mean that Elaine Richutti bitch, huh.”
“Uhhh...” he did not expect her to know the name of their employer.
“Not so far behind the curve as you thought we were actually,” Margret was stalling while she had opened her com to record the conversation, “We just did not have the ability to predict and prepare for every eventuality is all.”
“And that is where we win,” and he pulled a pistol out of his belt, “and you, 'Mrs. Cooper', loose.” and with that the men closed in, quickly grabbing Jacqueline who screamed out as a man wrapped his huge ape-like arms around her so that she could not strike back.
As the powerful man easily overwhelmed the little girl, lifting her off the ground and backing away from Margret, it was clear, they were here to take Jacqueline alive and kill her.
“So you think you can just walk away with the daughter of the most powerful family in all of Japan like this?” Margret scoffed, making sure she had inventory of what was in her purse.
She realized that the tracker beacon she had been given was missing, as was her wallet, but at the bottom, she could feel both the concealed knife and something else about the size of three ten yen coins stacked together.
“Oh I see,” she said playfully, pulling out the tracking device, “So the beacons on the cars were only in case I found this one, huh.”
“We make sure to succeed.” he smiled with a viscous look of predatory pride.
“Well won't be needing it any more, huh.” and she dropped, it and stepped on it making it crackle.
“No,” he said, raising the pistol a little higher, “Not after this...”
There was a sharp bang that echoed up the night street.
Ep 27, Chapter 2

sp; Giggling, Elaine once again excused herself to the bathroom, where she was only briefly before returning.
In that brief period of time, Janice reached up, pressed “send all” and after a little envelope popped up with the words, “file sent” she then hit “erase”, then moments later, put it back on “record,” hoping she got something useful that the sound engineers back at the studio could filter out from the murmuring in Japanese and the running water in the background.
