Further than Before- Pathway to the Stars

  Logistically speaking, Eliza’s family estate had several rooms which were converted into a sizeable diplomatic meeting hall for small meetings. However, for large gatherings, the campus for Pathway LLC was located deep underground and within the purchased acreage in Melrose, Massachusetts, and had several large convention centers, an abundant series of Group Virtual Universe Interfaces, conveyances for travel by non-read-in personnel, and luxurious hotel rooms for thousands nearby. Pathway provided quarters with biopods for individuals to large-sized families who were UP members and those interested in becoming such.

  Outside of political-centric purposes, each room within the campuses could also convert into emergency living spaces for anyone affected by natural or manmade disasters. At the site, there were large quantities of extra rooms set aside specifically for international refuge and emergency purposes.

  The rooms that were put together for this weren’t necessarily intended as permanent living quarters. Instead, they were a temporary living location similar to a penthouse suite in a luxury hotel. As fugitives of any form of a hostile government or environment were found by Eliza’s worldwide representatives and successfully rescued, they were escorted to the vast underground Melrose Campus using hidden jump gates. The refugees would then be assisted along a pathway to citizenship and given amazing options.

  If they preferred, refugees could elect to initially go to and settle into any of the twenty-thousand tech cities throughout the solar system rather than stay home, as well as qualify to become full-on citizens of the US. If they chose to go to a tech city, they were read-in first and automatically granted Pathway citizenship, and afforded free travel from Melrose, MA to any of the twenty-thousand tech cities they wished to visit or live in. All necessities would be provided on the two conditions of citizenship. These conditions were that they abide by the laws of Universal Ethics and contribute in one form or another toward the advancement of civilization.

  In these tech cities, as citizens of Pathway, provisions for education, work, vacation, and sabbatical cycles were set up by delegates and leaders, each working with members of the various cultures, to ensure their particular observances were met, so long as they did not infringe upon the personal rights of others, nor their consent. The leaders had been elected and would be thus until they stepped down or were ‘elected out of office.’ Throughout the solar system, the overall leaders were Eliza, Yesha, James, and the delegates, both on Earth and in the tech cities.

  Eliza had been unanimously elected by every member of Pathway as the leader of Pathway Operations, the Pathway Tech Cities, Solar System Operations, as well as Pathway LLC itself. She was also elected to preside over the UP. She was the head scientist, lead engineer, and the most accomplished and capable in every aspect of data analytics. She worked primarily in the western hemisphere of Earth, and jointly with Yesha and James.

  Yesha was unanimously elected as Eliza’s Vice President of each operation and worked as a head scientist and the director of the citizenship training program, both in the real world and Virtual Universe. She worked primarily in the eastern hemisphere.

  James had been appointed by Eliza and Yesha, and unanimously elected by Pathway citizens to be the lead workforce manager guiding each new Pathway citizen through their daily, weekly, monthly, and other scheduled routines. He worked with a large cadre of delegates, and primarily throughout the tech cities within the solar system. He was the acting President of Solar System Operations—and he too, just like Eliza and Yesha, in many ways took advantage of Group Virtual Universe Interfaces and biopods and had vetted and confirmed delegates for each individually-tailored and collective training program for individuals as well as the masses for integration into one of their family-preferred tech cities. Eventually, each leading central member had gone through the process to have delegates voted to represent each of these responsibilities, and in the various locations throughout the solar system.

  Eliza had provided the delegates worldwide and throughout the solar system with access to jump gateways that were unnoticeable or undetectable to the human eye. Ordinary public and terrestrial individuals could not see any of Pathway LLC’s developments unless they had been trained as an honorary member, or as a potential citizen and fully read-in after having been both physiologically and neurologically optimized and thus granted a neurological identification.

  Each of these delegates would go on typical and in many cases dangerous missions looking for victims of abuse, violence, or disease, and then help them to find their way to Eliza’s Melrose, Massachusetts acreage and living quarters. The delegates would meet with, work with, and then escort the refugees via the hidden jump gates to the US and Canada where they could travel via hyperloop to the main campus and become fully read-in citizens of Pathway LLC.

  Eliza had decided to resolve the many issues of economics as per the US Government. Bank accounts for actions explicitly made by the UP were set up separate from Pathway LLC to meet the legalities of current governments and economic systems, and to establish the UP as per the laws and expectations currently observed in whatever province they might be in. Laws were practiced, per the localized regions, but Eliza, through Pathway LLC donated a lot to provide funding for research, development, travel, commercials, speeches, and even entertainment that promoted the UP.

  Along with universal disaster relief, universal training at Pathway LLC, and universal overhead expenses, all activities and expenses were made available online with individual anonymity and confidentiality for refugees. Any honorable member of Pathway LLC, working inside any hostile environment was provided privacy of personal data by using an identification algorithm, which tied into an individual neural identification, without the need for optimizations, which was impossible for terrestrial systems to break out. This system worked to negate the possibility of hacking and enabled transparency when publicizing donation monies spent by the UP.

  Eliza financed all refugee and commercial operations through her matured investments in Pathway LLC, and she gave due and legal credit to the intent of the activities provided by the UP, its representatives, and its delegates. She acknowledged posthumously all who had “risked life and limb to rescue the ‘world’s most wonderful’ to provide others a fair opportunity to express their full potential, embracing Universal Ethics, as per the UP.”

  It was early on when Eliza’s political party was officially named the “Universal Party” and subsequently dubbed the “UP.” This was followed by voting results that were unanimous by all members of the party in each state of the US and each state throughout the globe, which held democratic elections worldwide. Preceding all of this, Eliza and each state’s voted Delegates and Representatives had conducted due diligence investigations and had found legal precedent to verify the UP as the official party name in all domains, public and private.

  Following the unanimous vote for the official party name, Eliza held a public convention at the Melrose Campus, and then a private one within the Virtual Universe, “The ‘UP’ Logo represents the party’s values. This logo has gone through a competitive and even rigorous democratic process, through unanimous voting, based on submissions in the Virtual Universe that were followed by those that can only access our public website. Votes were had on both the internet and within the Virtual Universe itself. This logo is more complicated than typical. It shows a black background that symbolizes indeterminate potential and the power of dark matter. A wispy white-lined yet clear face represents pellucidity of character indeterminate of race, color, gender, or creed. Clarity of a beautiful, brilliant, yet somewhat transparent array of iridescent colors emanates from our minds and flows back as if it were hair blowing in the breeze to symbolize acceptance, wisdom, kindness, beauty, and the advancement of humanity throughout the Cosmos, moving forward always.” She then adapted her message and explained this for the public, publishing the view of the UP, “nothing or no one is an enemy to the UP save death and misery alone, everyone is invited to be a part of the
future.”

  Once all of these aspects were shared, top musical and media artists were on-board, present, and many of them became fully read-in. As such, they put together and presented a spectacular series of short movies with music and scenes of the promise that the future held in store for all of humanity and all of life itself. This promise would be provided through the UP and the benevolent actions of all who care deeply enough to reach within and give their best while respecting and appreciating the efforts of those around them.

  “Our future has promise. We have every reason for joy and hope!” Eliza then shared.

  From there, the UP logo became proliferated worldwide and recognized as a symbol of love, of acceptance, of inclusion, and as a chance for heroism beginning with simple acts and attitudes of kindness and compassion.

  The party’s website received constant updates from the delegates and representatives and with those updates the addition of more details regarding party stances on issues. Since the uniform resource locator was linked via sensor technology to the Twelve Database Moons, there were no problems with latency, lag, or capacity. As a matter of fact, those with exceptionally slow internet access in the public terrestrial realm realized quickly and quietly that their connection speeds had increased considerably when visiting the UP page. Once a request had been made by a non-read-in fan of the UP, Eliza saw to it that a UP Social Website was created and as a result the people who had made that their homepage had the best internet available worldwide.

  Each issue that resounded amongst the masses was met with further links to articles and conversation groups that led to solutions resolved by delegates and representatives. Party web pages answered to local areas and parties in a way that fixed whatever problem arose while taking each concern and idea into consideration, and in-turn duly acknowledging the key contributors. While Eliza delegated to so many around her, to include the many aspects of the committees, she had set up a system to ensure that each committee handled calls for assistance and aid. She assured those with questions were enlightened and were provided resource materials for further study, all of which had been done in a kind, genuine, and expeditious manner. Eliza oversaw processes and delegated selflessly to other think-tanks. Through this networked social system, every state, every town, every district, and every region had information available per their unique needs, and her established system ensured that the representatives were on hand to answer any question or need in short order with quality and the spirit of Universal Ethics in mind. She knew so much due to her access to the Virtual Universe and the growing numbers of delegates or citizens within Pathway LLC, throughout the solar system.

  Certain aspects of this party related to the solar-system-wide governance of the Pathway Tech Cities, as applied to Pathway Citizens, as well as other elements that correlated with the establishment of the UP in the US and other nations that permitted the formation of parties.

  While governance had successfully been established throughout Pathway Tech Cities, a lot of the work necessary for growing the party on Earth in a public forum from the grassroots would take some time. Eliza understood what political integrity and strength entailed, and she did everything possible to integrate with the terrestrial populous to help the party become a success before running for political office. Even then, she knew there would be obstacles along the way that needed to be addressed with solutions presented, voted on, and executed. This in no way slowed her down. Ultimately, Eliza understood the need to market the UP. To make the UP a household name, service projects, involvement in relief to those struggling, and setting up systems for people to enhance and improve their own communities were promoted. By working together and knowing that they could have confidence in the UP for financial backing on anything that was well thought out global circumstances would improve from what they were to something better.

  Eliza had a brilliant mind and many millennia of wisdom. Notwithstanding, she worked under the confines of US law on all things pertaining to the US. She worked under the confines of International Law as it related to International interests, and in governance from Pathway LLC as it applied to her vast and growing empire throughout the solar system. Meanwhile, Eliza, Yesha, and James continued to search for, find, and recruit exceptional people within the US and abroad to become members of the UP, as well as fully read-in Pathway Citizens.

  Recruitment was one of Eliza’s favorite pastimes. Yet, a lot of things seemed to become her favorites these days. Due to her ever increasing and evolving optimizations, Eliza’s wisdom, compassion, and propensity to get things done added an extra layer of bliss and joy to everything she did. Above all else, through working one-on-one, she met some remarkable and kindred spirits who would become some of the most influential in humanity’s future and existence, so finding herself face-to-face with so many amazing individuals she could see through their countenance to the awe-inspiring nature of their true potential. Many of those whom she would meet would provide uncountable support. There were quite a few heart-warming and dedicated individuals, bustling with personal motivation, becoming her kindred spirits and part of her Pathway hierarchy.

  Chapter 16: Amber Blythe, Section 1

  Database Moon Archive, Celestial-Sol Entry Date: 2018 December 25. In this important part of Vesha Celeste’s training, after her awakening, she and Yesha explore the recruitment and a brief part of the backstory of Amber Blythe, within the Virtual Universe, interfaced within the Pathway Melrose Campus.   On Earth in the public world and for those who had not been read-in, and thus for many who knew nothing about Eliza’s growing revolution of hope, it was a typical autumn day following study hall at MIT. Amber Blythe had finished up her reading, expounding upon her essay questions—digging deeper for more meaningful and purposeful answers to each question posed than were required, and she kept ahead of her schedule with her thesis on ‘Biotech and Gerontology: The Race to Cure Aging.’ She took time regularly to balance her life, and one of her favorite additions to her schedule over the last few months had been to obsessively pore over as many times as possible her favorite sections of her paperback copy of Dr. Eliza A. Williams’ “Pathway to the Stars.”

  Amber’s family was far from rich, but they managed their money wisely. In addition to living not too far away from Cambridge, Massachusetts, which was an expensive place to live, her scholarships helped a lot; she also had a couple of side jobs and managed to get by. What helped Amber get into MIT in the first place was that she was both academically brilliant and a genius in the labs, so as a result she had been awarded a full-ride scholarship to each school she went to through the end of her doctorate program. She began at the local community college, then went to the state college, and followed that by going to MIT for her graduate courses, which she had been attending for the last year and a half. It was August of 2010, and thus far she had maintained academic scores requisite of Summa Cum Laude honors, but more importantly, she had absorbed the information and had developed a concrete understanding of how each course interrelated with the other and within the context of applying them to a long and healthy life.

  Harvard would be the next step in her pathway toward achieving her Ph.D. in Biogenetics and that would begin following the holiday celebrations and the New Year of 2011. Amber studied the courses related to her Ph.D. and chose a path with heavy personal investment, concern, and a profound vision of something that could reduce the suffering of humanity, and in particular, she wanted to help others that might be affected by genes that when improperly tied in together lent to misery and suffering—just as it was for her younger sister who was born with Diabetes Type I.

  Given all of these factors, Amber held on through each day of each year of study and was on pace for completion of her thesis within the next few weeks, while not being due for a few more months after that.

  To make sure she had money to spare and could afford professional clothing, Amber, who ha
d been gifted with a beautiful face, a beautiful physique, and a genius mind, had moonlighted as a model for an agency that provided covers, advertisement pictures to several worldwide magazines, and commercials. On occasion, she was paid for guest appearances on science-related broadcasts and conferences. She served as a waitress at a nearby organic and nutrient-dense college-town restaurant named The Tyson Organic, or the T.O. for short, for free food and a little extra money to save up for when she was in transition between her studies, breaks, and her goals for an eventually limited liability company—she wanted to build a biotech and gene therapy business, she also wanted to be a fully-vested bio-hacker to save lives, augment the quality of life no matter the environment, and improve overall health and capabilities.

  No matter her busy schedule, Amber found time for sleep, yoga, long jogs, the gym, and practiced an optimally engaging healthy and balanced lifestyle routine on a daily basis.

  Most of the time, rather than spend money and time on stints at sorority parties and the like, she chose to stay ahead on her study curriculum, go to art gallery presentations, and keep herself fit for modeling. Despite the common buzzing of the boys or the potential suitors over her beautiful hazel eyes, her luscious, healthy, physically fit, and curvy frame, her glistening blonde hair with impeccable and natural highlights that she sometimes flat-ironed, threw back in a ponytail, or let go for a wavy and medium-length appearance, or wore in an up-do for special events, she maintained her focus toward saving money and on delving deep into her studies.
