SWEET TEMPTATION JAM RECIPE
2 pounds strawberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1.75-ounce box powdered pectin
7 cups sugar
1 cup dark chocolate
Blend strawberries until chunky. Place strawberries and lemon juice in a large saucepan and heat to a boil, continually stirring the strawberries so they don’t burn to the bottom of the pan, then add chocolate and bring back to a boil for one minute. Slowly stir in the pectin and bring to a boil. Add sugar one cup at a time while stirring and bring to a boil for one minute. Place your jars and lids in a large saucepan filled with water and bring to a hard boil. Remove jars from the hot water one at a time and fill with the hot jam mixture. Place the lid on the top tightly and invert the jars upside down for 30 seconds, then turn upright and let set so they can seal.
This recipe makes seven to eight 8-ounce jars of jam.
