Rescued by Love Page 19

by Jules Dixon

The next classes didn’t give me quite the same anxious feelings as the first one. What I was doing was the right choice. There was a support system in my life of people who truly loved me, friends who had time for me, and I made time for them, too. After a long and truthful talk with my sister, we started a new relationship and she asked me to coach my nephews’ baseball team. Seeing how Reece loved to pitch and how Ryder loved to catch for his brother made me even more thankful for what my friends did for me.

I planned a surprise trip to take Rory to go see my brother for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Jessen had balked a little at the idea, but I explained how I needed her there with me and I’d have her back to Omaha before her birthday, and they gave me the go-ahead. At that moment I’d actually thought about asking them for permission to ask her to be my wife. Me—Drexel Mason—wanting to wrap a ring around a woman’s finger. What the hell had happened to me? Everything. I didn’t ask them, but it wasn’t going to be long before I popped the question.

I hadn’t even considered suppressing my emotions with the white devil since that last night of using in Rory’s apartment bathroom. There were days when the menace called to me, but I told him to fuck off and went on my way. He wasn’t in control anymore. I was.

Having moved close to campus, I walked home to the three-bedroom Tudor-style cottage that was still a castle to me.

“Rory!” I called out, walking through the front door.

  “In the laundry room, honey.”

I stepped into the kitchen and found my princess removing a load of her delicates out of the washer. Each thong and bra she held up and hung to air-dry had me hornier than the last.

Hey, I might have “grown” but I’m still me.

I rounded her waist from behind and pulled her ass back so she could feel how much I’d grown in the last thirty seconds.

“Wow, have a present for me?”

I moved her hair out of my way and skimmed my lips down her neck. She sighed, making my erection throb for her.

Turning in my arms to face me, she pecked my lips. “How was your first day?” Her hands caressed my face and her eyes asked for the truth.

“I was nervous, but I like my classes. Legal Foundations of School Psychology sounds interesting and Kirsch was really nervous, so that helped.”

“That’s great. Not the Kirsch being nervous part, but that you liked your classes.”

I lifted her onto the warm dryer and spread her legs. Her short skirt created a delicious dark forbidden zone and I was ready to explore. I lifted her hands over her head. “Keep those there.”

She moaned as my hands searched her body for the most sensitive spots I’d discovered in the last six months. “What do you think you’re doing, Mr. Mason?”

“I’m finally living.” It was true. I felt more alive now than any morning I woke up and started the day with a powdered high. I was on a constant high.

I lifted her t-shirt over her head and unhooked her bra. Holding a warm mound in my hand, I rounded her dusty pink point with my tongue and sucked the soft skin until she moaned my name, the sound drenched in desire and sprinkled with frustration.

  Perfect combination.

Her hands dug into my hair. “Drexel…”

  I brought my head up.

She kissed my nose. “I’m so proud of you.”

I smiled and wrapped her in my arms. “Thanks. How was your day? Those kindergartners give you a hard time again?”

“Two peed their pants, one threw up, and one asked me to marry him.”

“I need to talk to that last kid. He’s shit out of luck, because I called dibs on the playground a long time ago.”

She laughed and wrapped her long legs around me, towing my crotch to her and grinding against me. “Not my type, anyway. I asked. He doesn’t own a horse.”

I laughed with her, but soon her grinding caught my attention.

“Hands back up there, Princess.” Her sharp inhale of excitement hardened my cock to stone.

I stripped my t-shirt and her gaze immediately slid to the new tattoo on my rib cage. She’d seen the red and black drawing many times, but every time, she reacted the same. Beautiful open mouth. Wide eyes. And exploring fingers. The dragon’s black body wrapped around my ribcage and its blood red fire breathed across my heart, reminding me I had control of the monster, not the other way around. And after I’d gotten the tat, Rory had shown me how much she liked it by dropping to her knees and giving me a blowjob that blew my ‘nads and my mind.

After I’d brought her to the edge several times with my mouth, I fucked her until she was screaming my name over and over, gasping for every breath, and trembling from the inside out. I thundered her name back as my body shared my love for her.

There would always be a little pain in my heart, a place that hadn’t been filled as a child, but with Aurora in my life, I didn’t drown in that place anymore. I could move past the ache and appreciate the love we shared.

Shit, I sound like a girl.

“Let’s do that again,” she panted. “Only you need to do it better this time.”

“Aurora?” I said with exasperation and a chuckle.

“You heard me. Your concentration was lacking. Your form was sloppy. And what was that last move? I can’t even describe how—”

“Woman! Just be quiet and let me make love to you again.”

Fuck fairy tales! That’s only a moment in time. Real love happens over and over and…
