Fierce Daddy

“I am so ready,” she told him. He crawled over to his side of the bed and fetched a condom, quickly rolling it onto his dick. His hands were actually shaking.

Shit. What was wrong with him?

Her. It was all Tabby. She was making him crazy.

“Get on top of me. Ride me.”

Her eyes widened, but then a smile lit up her face. “Yes, Sir. Whatever you say, Sir.”

He snorted but held out his hand as she straddled him.

“Take me inside you when you’re ready, but I want you to keep your gaze on me, understand? Remember who you’re with.”

She sucked in a breath, staring down at him as she grabbed his dick. She ran her hand up and down the shaft.

“Like I could ever forget. I’m with the man I love more than life.”

She knocked the breath right out of his lungs.

“Good,” he told her. “Because I love you more than anything, Tabby-baby.”

“Oh hell,” she groaned. “You’re so big.”

“You sure know how to stroke a man’s ego.”

“Is your ego in your dick?” she asked with a cheeky grin, right before she slid herself down over his cock, taking him deep.

He swore that his eyes rolled back in his head. “Fuck, yes, baby. Yes. Move, please.”

“You feel so good,” she told him. “I didn’t know it could be like this. Razor, please. Please.”

Reaching down, he thumbed her clit with soft strokes.

“Please, please, please.” Her breasts bounced as she slid up and down and with his other hand, he pinched her nipple.

Then he flicked his thumb faster. Harder.

Her movements increased in pace. The need to come burned inside him.

“Get ready. I want you to come. Keep looking at me. That’s it. I love you. So fucking much.”

He tapped her clit and she came, clenching down around him, her face filling with her pleasure. Fuck, so beautiful. He grabbed hold of her hips and thrust up inside her. Once. Twice. Again and again until he reached that peak and screamed his own release.

  Fuck. Yes.

She collapsed on top of his chest and he held her tight, running his fingers through her dark hair.

  “That was amazing. I just . . . I didn’t know . . . I . . .”

Tears dripped onto his chest but he didn’t try to hush her. She had a right to her tears.

  She’d earned them.

After a few moments, she shifted and sat up, looking down at him. She ran a finger around his nipple.

“I was so scared, Razor. Terrified that I’d lost you for good.”

He sat and drew her into his lap, holding her tight. “Hey now. Nothing is going to happen to me. I’m not ever leaving you. Understand me? The charges were bogus, and even without Reuben’s help, they would have gotten thrown out eventually. Detective Dick Face was deluding himself into thinking they wouldn’t. But Reuben certainly helped speed things up.”

  “I’m glad I called Cat. I nearly didn’t.”

“Yeah, she came through for us.”

There was a funny note in his voice that made her draw back to look up at him. “You wish I hadn’t called her?”

“No. It’s not that. Just wondering what it all means. Whether De Leon will see the debt as paid.”

She frowned. “There wasn’t a debt, though. I would have helped Cat no matter who she was.”

“I know you would have. You might never hear from her again. But if you do, I want you to tell me straight away, okay?”

Was he worried about Cat’s husband? That he’d want something? Her stomach rolled over.

“Hey, you didn’t do anything wrong. I’m just being cautious, all right?” He tilted up her face, nuzzling his nose against hers. “Don’t. Worry.”

  She huffed out a breath.

He drew back. “But just to be safe, don’t mention the Fox to her, okay? Actually, not to anyone.”

“I wasn’t going to. I can’t believe he was following me and I didn’t even know. Kind of creepy and scary.”

“Yeah, I get it.” He rubbed her back, soothing her. “But he won’t hurt you. I promise. He’s dangerous, but he has an attachment to Sunny. He won’t do anything that would upset her.”

“So don’t piss off Sunny and I’ll be fine?” she asked.

“Something like that.” He winked. “If it makes you feel better, Sunny doesn’t take offense easily.” He ran a thumb under her eye. “You look tuckered out.”

  “I’m all right.”

  He eyed her.

“I don’t sleep well without you.”

“Same.” He yawned. “I’m still tired despite sleeping eight hours last night. My head feels like it’s full of cotton. What say we have a lazy day? Movies. Popcorn. Take-out.”

“Can I choose the movie?” she asked, clapping her hands.

“All right. Let me guess Scooby-Doo?”

  “Daddy, how did you know?”

“Lucky guess,” he said dryly. “Now gimme some sugar to power me up.” He pointed to his lips.

Well, if he needed sugar then she had to oblige. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed him.

She slumped down at the kitchen table with her third cup of coffee. She felt wrung out. Exhausted. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this tired. Usually, I always have this buzz of energy under my skin.”

“Poor baby girl.” Razor came over and put his hand on her forehead. “You’re not running a fever. Probably just tired out from these past few days. Let me go check the mail then we’ll cuddle on the couch.”

She nodded. But as soon as he got out of sight, a funny feeling came over her. She couldn’t breathe. The room spun around her.

  Razor.

  She needed Razor.

Stumbling to her feet, she managed to get across the room to find him at the front door, slipping on some shoes.

“Baby girl . . . what . . .?” He grabbed hold of her. “What is it?”

  “Don’t . . . can’t . . . breathe . . .”

He sat her on the floor then crouched next to her. “It’s all right. You’re okay. Breathe with me. One, two, three. That’s it. Nice and slow. Let’s count again.”

As he spoke, she started to calm, her throat opened up and she could get air in and out of her lungs.

“Good girl. You’re all right.” He sat down and drew her into his lap. She buried her face in his chest, clinging to him.

  “Sorry. Sorry.”

“Hush now,” he murmured, his accent thickening. “What happened?”

“I don’t know. You left the room and I just panicked. So silly.”

“It’s not silly,” he told her firmly. He cupped the side of her face and she stared up into his dark gaze. “Your emotions and feelings aren’t silly. If you weren’t having issues, I’d worry about you. Okay?”

She nodded. “What about you, Daddy? Are you having some problems too?”

“Truth is, I don’t want you out of my sight either. So how about for today at least, we stick to each other like glue?”

“Okay, Daddy. I think that sounds like a plan.”

“Come on, I’m hoping something I ordered has arrived.”

Ten minutes later, she squealed as she drew out the Scooby-Doo pajama set as well as a pair of slippers with Scooby faces on the front of them.

“Daddy! I love them! Can I put them on right now?” She pulled off the yoga pants and T-shirt she wore as he laughed.

  “I guess that’s a yes.”

“I wanna wear them while we be lazy all day.”

He gave her an indulgent smile. “Okay, Tabby-baby.”

They’d just finished the first movie when Razor’s phone rang.

“Hey, man, what’s going on? Yeah. He can’t get hold of him? Right. Thanks. Yeah, we’re okay, taking it easy. I will. Thanks.” He ended the call.

  “Who was that?” she asked.

“Reyes. He talked to Markovich about the Fox. He didn’t know that he was going
to use you, but the Fox doesn’t tell him all the details of what he does and Markovich, for right or wrong, prefers it that way.”

It didn’t feel right, hiring someone like that and then giving them free rein. But then, the Fox didn’t seem like the type to take orders. At least that’s the impression she’d gotten.

“Think he was checking up on us too.” Razor sighed as his phone went again.

  “Samuels. Right. Yep. Thanks. Okay.”

She gave him a curious look. “Detective in charge of the case. They found Tommy’s body.”

“Oh.” She wasn’t sure if she was supposed to feel bad or not. Was she desensitized to this sort of thing? Maybe. Was it wrong? Perhaps. But she also wasn’t sure that she could deal with much more. And Tommy’s death wasn’t going to be the thing that sent her over the edge.

“Is it wrong I don’t feel bad?”

“No, baby girl. Not wrong at all.”

  Whew.

“How about we get some popcorn for the next movie?” he asked her.

  “Okay, Daddy.”

“And maybe some chocolate. That makes everything better, right?”

She managed a small smile. “Right. That and Scooby-Dooby-Doo!”

He groaned, but he was grinning. “You really want to watch it for the hundredth time?”

“Daddy, don’t exaggerate.” She wiggled a finger at him. “It’s only ninety-nine.”

He laughed. “What will you give me for watching it again?”

“Hm. Let’s see. What could I bribe Daddy with? Well, there’s cuddles.”

  “Always good for bribery.”

  “And there’s sugar.”

  “Yep. More good currency.”

“And there’s also making him feel really good while he’s watching it.” She wriggled her eyebrows up and down.

“Why, Miss Tabby,” he said in a high-pitched voice. “Are you propositioning me?”

“Daddy, I meant I’d make you a hot chocolate. What were you thinking about?” She gave him a shocked look.

“Brat!” He leaped for her, his fingers at the ready to tickle. With a squeal, she rolled away from him, laughing. Her phone rang, interrupting them. She grabbed it, answering without looking who it was.

  “Hello?”

“Tabby-Cat, it’s me! The cat part of the equation.”

  “Cat!”

Razor froze, staring down at her.

“Thank you so much for your help,” Tabby told her. “Reuben was amazing.”

“He’s an ass, though, right? I mean, he has a good side. And he’s completely ruthless.”

“He got the charges dropped and Razor out. I’m so grateful. So thank you.”

“No problem, Tabby. I’m glad I could help. I don’t have many friends, you know? Actually, I have none except for Alejandro’s men. I know we can’t see each other, but do you think . . . well . . . that you wouldn’t mind talking once in a while?”

“I’d love that. We can call and video chat.”

“Really? You’d want to do that with me?” The vulnerability in the other woman’s voice floored her.

  “Of course, I would.”

“Yay! You know, Tabby. I think we’re going to be the best of friends.”

“Hey, it’s in the name, right? Tabby-Cat forever.”

“Yep.” A deep voice called out. “Oh, I better go. Papi is calling me. Bye!”

“Bye, Cat. Thanks again!” After hanging up, she glanced up at Razor. He was gaping down at her.

“Did you just agree to call and video chat with Cat De Leon?”

“She’s my friend, Daddy. And she’s lonely. Surely, I can be friends with her.”

Razor ran his hand over his face. “Okay. Sure. My fiancée is friends with Cat De Leon.”

“Wait. Your what?” She glared up at him.

“My fiancée. You heard me say to Jared that we were getting married.”

“If you think that’s a proposal, you better think again, buster. Because you will be proposing properly. Understand?”

His mouth opened, then shut. “Yes, ma’am. I completely understand.”

She grunted. “Too right you do.” She caught him grinning. “You think this is funny?”

“I think you are. What happened to that nervous girl who couldn’t even look me in the eye? Look at you now, making demands and putting your foot down.” He drew her close to him, lifting her up so she could wrap her legs around his waist. “So fucking proud of you.”

“That’s good, because I have one more demand, and you might not like it.”

  “What’s that?”

“I think we should go see your family.”

  He sucked in a breath.

“Just listen,” she said hastily. “If you propose and if I say yes—”

“If! If?” he interrupted, looking enraged.

“Yes, if. Nothing is guaranteed. Got to ensure you make that proposal good. I don’t want anything half-assed.”

“What makes you think I’d do half-assed?”

“Um, you just thought that telling my cousin you would marry me was you proposing.”

  “Oh. Right. Keep going. ”

“Don’t you want to invite your family to the wedding?”

  He was quiet.

  “Daddy? What do you think?”

“I think you’re right. I think it’s time to go see them.”

“We could do a road trip. Maybe at Christmas.”

He raised his eyebrows. “You’d want to do that?”

“Yeah, Daddy. Please? I want to meet them. But even more than that, I want them in your life. And I think you want that too.” The way he looked whenever he talked about them, with sadness and longing, it broke her heart. He’d done so much for her. This was something she could do for him. “Besides, you can’t go without me.”

“I’d never go anywhere without you, baby girl.”

  Epilogue

I will not plot mischief with Cat.

I will not plot mischief with Cat.

I will not plot mischief with Cat.

  * * *

She sighed and shook out her hand. A hundred lines. Ouch. That sucked. Especially since she was having to write them while sitting on a hot bottom. Standing, she yawned.

  Swing time.

She’d been sitting for the last few hours writing those lines, she deserved it.

Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration. But still, it felt like she’d been sitting for hours. Moving to her swing, she climbed in and started swinging back and forth on her tummy. A sense of calm came over her as she moved.

She loved the swing. It was still the only place she could nap. Sometimes, when she needed downtime, she’d climb into the area under the Mystery Machine bed and read a book.

But she couldn’t sleep in there. There was something about being weightless that just eased her worries and helped her mind chill out. Which, over these past few months, she’d really needed.

There had definitely been ups and downs. Nightmares, a few panic attacks. Luna had barely left her side throughout. She somehow seemed to sense that Tabby needed extra care at the moment.

They had the shop back up and running now. Things were busier than ever. Razor was even looking to hire some new guys.

“Baby girl? What are you doing in your swing?”

“Oh, hi, Daddy,” she said brightly, looking up at him. “Watcha doin’?”

“Well, I was coming in to see if my naughty girl had finished her lines.” He leaned against the doorway. He was drinking out of one of the mugs she had made for him.

One said, Best Daddy Ever. Of course. A classic. Another was for when he was at work. That one said, the Biggest Baddest Bossiest Boss. She was pretty proud of that one.

Another mug said, Sexy Silver Saint Bernard. That one always made her smile. But today he was using her favorite.

Daddy, Bringer of the Big O.

He only used that one when they were alone. She didn’t know why. He should be proud of the or
gasms he gave her. She was certainly proud every time she managed to get him to come. Her favorite was when she’d suck him until he lost control and came in her mouth.

  “Are they all written?”

“I don’t like writing lines, Daddy,” she pouted.

“You’re not meant to like writing lines, Tabby-girl,” he told her. “You know that you’re not supposed to get up until Daddy comes for you?”

“Well, obviously I did not know, since I would have stayed sitting, Daddy. I’m a good girl. I always follow the rules.”

“That so? Why are you lying on your tummy, baby girl?”

“Because someone’s spanky hand got itchy,” she grumbled.

“And why did my spanking hand get itchy?” he asked dryly.

“Um, 'cause you wouldn’t use some cream like I suggested?”

“I don’t need a cream for it, brat.” He walked into the room and set his mug down on her desk.

She sighed. “Because I was talking to Cat.”

  “Try again.”

“Because I was plotting mischief with Cat.”

“That’s right. That was very naughty trying to help her find a way around one of Alejandro’s rules for her.”

  “I know, Daddy. I’m sorry.”

“Can you understand why Daddy spanked you?” he asked.

  “Yes, Daddy.”

“And put you in the corner with some ginger in your bottom?”

“That was just mean, Daddy. To me and the ginger.”

“You’ll both survive,” he said dryly.

“I don’t know about me, but the ginger is traumatized.”

  He grinned.

“And did I have to do lines on top of all of that?”

  “Yes.”

  “But my bottom hurts.”

“Kind of the point. Come here.”

He held out his arms and she threw herself at him. Picking her up, he nuzzled her nose with his.

  “I love you, Tabby-baby.”

  “I love you too, Daddy.”

He moved out of the bedroom, carrying her down the passage and through the lounge. They walked past her fish tank which he’d made space for and she waved at the gang.

“Where we going, Daddy?” She’d been planning on hanging out in her playroom for a while. Things had been so busy lately, she hadn’t had much time for play.
