Dive In Deep

“Baby, I am so hard for you.”

  “I feel that,” I moaned.

I began to move, sliding back and forth. His hands rested on my hips, letting me control the speed. I liked feeling in control. I was a novice in the sex department, but I knew he would let me learn, with him teaching me all the tricks. He would tell me what was right and what was not. He wouldn’t laugh at me if I messed up.

“So good,” he moaned. “You feel so good.”

“I like this,” I told him, rubbing my hands over his chest.

“Want to go faster?” he asked.

I smiled. “Do you want me to go faster?”

“You do whatever makes you feel good,” he answered.

I picked up the pace, testing my skills as I moved faster and faster. I started moving so fast, my breasts bounced up and down. My body was out of control. I was in the grip of ecstasy. I couldn’t stop moving. I could feel the orgasm just out of reach.

I bounced harder and faster until I found my release. My body stiffened, and I arched my back and dug my fingers into his flesh.

He rolled, pulling me under him and driving back inside me. He was pounding against me, hard and fast, mimicking what I had done to him. He was insatiable. I could feel his desperation in every thrust. I had felt the same way.

“Now, baby, now,” I cried out, feeling another orgasm building.

“Fuck, you turn me inside out!” he shouted, erupting inside me.

We were both panting and gasping for air when he collapsed on top of me. He turned his face to kiss my cheek before dropping onto the bed. His leg was draped over mine, his arm thrown over my chest. I closed my eyes, still in awe of what the man could do to my body.

I briefly wondered if sex was like that for everyone. I had listened to Khloe and Julia talk about their sexual escapades, and it wasn’t always good. They talked about guys not giving them orgasms or having horrible sexual experiences.

“Can I ask you something, and please don’t laugh at me?” I asked.

  “Ask me anything.”

I felt a little ridiculous, but I wanted to know if I was doing it right. I didn’t want him to go back to his friends and talk about how lousy I was in bed. “Is this normal?”

He lifted his head and looked at me. “Is what normal?”

“Sex,” I whispered as if it were a dirty word.

He chuckled. “I’m not sure what you’re asking.”

“You know this is new to me. I’ve enjoyed myself every time. Like every time.”

He gave me a peculiar look. “You didn’t think it would be like that?”

I shrugged. “I don’t know. I hoped it would be good, but I’ve heard it isn’t always.”

He grinned. “If you’re asking me if you’re good, you are amazing.”

“But is it always like this when you have sex with other people?” I asked bluntly.

He laughed again. I couldn’t imagine ever talking to another man like I was talking to him, but I trusted him. I knew he would be truthful.

“It isn’t,” he answered completely seriously.

  “What?”

He smiled. “I’m serious. It’s special. It’s different. If you are ever not having a good time, I want you to tell me. I will make sure you are enjoying yourself.”

“I can’t imagine not liking it. I mean, really, it’s amazing.”

“Good, I’m here to please you,” he said.

We lay together a while longer. I knew our time was limited. I didn’t want him to leave. I didn’t even want to think about what that meant.

“Do you need to go?” I asked reluctantly.

He rolled to his side, propping his head up on his elbow. He traced a fingertip over my naked breast. “No.”

  “No?”

He grinned and leaned down to kiss the top of my breast before giving it a gentle squeeze. “I want you to stay right here while I make a quick phone call.”

  I grinned. “Right here?”

He sat up and rose from the bed, walking naked to where his pants rested on the floor. He fished out his phone and quickly called his pilot, telling him he was getting him a room at the best hotel in town and to be ready to go first thing in the morning.

He turned to look at me. “Problem solved.”

  “Really?”

“I’m going to stay the night, if that’s okay with you?”

I sat forward and reached my arms out to him. “Damn straight it’s okay. Get your fine ass over here.”

He chuckled and jumped in bed beside me. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close. I couldn’t believe he was going to stay the night. I wasn’t expecting it. The man seemed willing to drop everything for me. I wasn’t sure how to handle it. I told myself not to overthink it.

Live in the moment. Accept his generosity and appreciate what he is doing for me—for him. We were having fun, and I wanted to look back on this time and smile.

How could I not smile with a man like him holding me in his arms?

  Chapter 26

  Trent

I hadn’t been this stressed out since I’d first learned I was no longer going to be able to serve in the military after my injury. I remembered how I had felt in that moment. I was convinced my world was ending.

It didn’t end. Things got better, and I was the first to admit I had bounced back just fine. Better than fine. I was on top of the world until I’d gotten the phone call on Tuesday morning that everything had gone to hell in a handbasket.

I’d woken up early and made Sade breakfast before sending her off to work. It had been so good, so natural and normal. I felt domesticated and completely settled.

I had been planning my next trip, thinking about how I could work from her condo in order to give myself an extra day with her. It was possible. I just had to figure out the logistics. Richie would complain, but I’d give him a bigger bonus or pay him more to get him on board.

Then he’d called, and the shit hit the fan. Some jackass kid showed up with an attorney, claiming he was the rightful owner of the hotel I had just purchased. My lawyers assured me the kid didn’t have a chance in hell of overturning the sale, but he was still making things difficult.

I paced, waiting for my chopper to land with the precious cargo in tow. I checked my watch again. He was about five minutes late. I hoped like hell it was because Sade had been late getting to the airport and not something worse.

I heard the telltale sound of the blades cutting through the air and looked out the window of the hangar I owned. Finally! I watched as the helicopter landed on the private airstrip, and I had to fight the urge to rush out and meet her. I waited until it was clear.

“Hi!” I greeted her, stretching out my arms to embrace her.

She was wearing a pair of dark blue scrubs, her hair pulled back in a ponytail and looking sexy as ever. She grinned and threw her arms around me. “That was crazy!” she exclaimed. “I feel like a celebrity!”

I wrapped an arm around her and led her back inside the hangar waiting area. “Was everything okay?” I asked with concern.

“It was fine! Better than fine!”

I let out a sigh of relief. I had been worried it had been a bumpy ride. “Ready to get out of here?”

She nodded. “I am. I need to change. I was late getting off work and didn’t have time to shower or anything. I rushed home, grabbed my packed suitcase, and rushed to the airport.”

“You can shower and change at my place,” I told her as we walked to the waiting car.

Bentley was waiting, smiling at Sade. “It’s nice to see you again.”

“It’s nice to see you again too, Bentley,” she said with a friendly smile.

We climbed into the backseat, snuggling together. It felt like an eternity since I’d been able to hold her. “I’ve missed you.”

“I’ve missed you. Did you find out who the kid is that’s trying to thwart your hotel deal?”

We’d talked a little about the situation, but I di
dn’t want to bore her with dry business talk and hadn’t given her the full story. “He is the son of the man I bought it from. The old man hadn’t seen the kid since he was young. The ex took the kid, and he never saw them again. He is completely baffled by the son’s claims. I don’t know why he thinks he has any right to a property he’s never even seen that was owned by a man he hasn’t spoken to in twenty years.”

“No kidding. Did you tell him to get bent?”

I laughed. “Not yet, but I have a whole damn team of lawyers working on a way to legally tell him to get bent.”

“Good. What a little punk. Does he think he’s entitled to the money?”

I nodded. “He does. He apparently doesn’t like the deal and thinks I should have paid more. He’s pulling all kinds of shit, claiming I took advantage of his poor, ailing father. The man he disowned decades ago. I assured my lawyers the dude is in fighting shape and there was no taking advantage. He wanted to sell, I wanted to buy, and it was a done deal.”

“You’ve signed the paperwork?” she asked.

“Yep, signed on the dotted line and the ink was long dry before that little punk showed up,” I said.

“What does the old man say?”

I shook my head. “He’s waffling. I heard from my lawyer that the old man’s lawyer is looking for a way out of the contract.”

“No way!” she shrieked. “Did you tell him to get bent?”

I heard Bentley snicker up front. I loved that she was defending me. “I haven’t done anything, but I have asked my lawyers to do that for me.”

“Good,” she said adamantly. “That’s just bullshit. You make a deal, you stick to the deal.”

I smiled, knowing that was something she’d learned from her father. He was a stickler when it came to things like that. He believed a man’s word, as well as a woman’s, was worth more than any contract.

“I agree, and hopefully, it will all be settled soon. My lawyers assure me I have nothing to worry about, but I just have to get through this bullshit. It’s holding up the work, though. I was supposed to be meeting with a designer and getting contractor bids, and everything has just come to a halt.”

She patted my leg. “It will all work out in the end. You are in the right, and I’m sure you have the best attorneys on your side. That little boy will just need to go kick rocks somewhere else.”

I laughed. “That little boy isn’t so little. He’s in his mid-twenties, but I think you’re right. He needs to move along before I send him moving along.”

She giggled. “I think I would like to see that.”

“Oh, are you the violent type?” I teased. “Do you watch MMA and wrestling?”

“God no, but you’re such a nice guy,” she said. “I can’t imagine what you would look like angry.”

I’d spent time in the military doing things I tried not to think about—violent things. I avoided all violence and did my best to live a peaceful existence nowadays. “I like things quiet,” I mumbled.

Bentley pulled up to my house and helped me grab Sade’s bag. Sade stood in the driveway and took a deep breath. “It smells different here.”

  “How so?”

“I don’t know. It smells relaxing.” She laughed.

I nodded to Bentley. “I hope I don’t need you for the next two days,” I told him. “I plan on being right here and not leaving the house.”

Bentley chuckled. “I hope that works out for you. I’ll see you two later.” He gave a slight wave before jumping in the car and pulling away.

  “Really?” Sade asked.

I looked at her. “Really, what?”

“You don’t plan on leaving here for two days? Don’t you have to go to the hotel?”

I shook my head. “Nope. I told Richie I planned on being in bed for the next two days and not to disturb me unless the damn thing was burning down, and even then, there wouldn’t be shit I could do about it, so don’t call me.”

  “In bed, huh?” She grinned.

I nodded. “Yes, in bed. I want you in bed, under me, over me, in front of me, every which way. I don’t want to leave this house. We can order in anything we might need. The fridge is stocked, the freezer is stocked, and I don’t see any reason for us to leave. We only get two days together, and I damn well plan on taking advantage of every minute.”

She leaned up on her toes and rubbed her breasts against my chest as she kissed me on the lips. “Take advantage of me, you mean,” she whispered.

I reached around and gave her ass a good squeeze. “Yes, exactly.”

“Thank you for clearing your schedule for me,” she said as I led her inside.

“It’s what I wanted. I wish it could be for longer. I want to spend an entire week with you. Hell, a month. We did a week, and that wasn’t enough.”

She leaned against me as I unlocked the door and pushed it open. I was happy to have her home. Hell, anywhere she was, was home. I couldn’t believe how quickly I had fallen for her. I was ready to move her in and set up house.

I hated the distance between us. I hated not being able to see her every morning I woke up and every night before I went to bed. I wasn’t going to tell her that. I had seen the look on her face when I told her I wanted to make a go of a long-distance relationship. I didn’t think she’d take my declaration that I wanted her to move in all that well.

I had to remember there was an age difference between us. She was just getting out into the world, and I had been all around the world and had seen a lot of things that she would hopefully never have to see.

I was settled. I owned a home and a business and had put down roots. I couldn’t ask her to give up what she was just starting to build. If she volunteered to do it, that would be great, but I wouldn’t put that kind of pressure on her—not yet.

  “Is Leia around?”

I held up a hand, listening for the toenails on the hard floor. “Three, two—” There was the sound of clacking toenails running at full speed. “Brace yourself.”

Sade waited about ten seconds before my lovely boxer made full body contact with the woman I wanted to invite into my home. I realized I could be asking a lot as I watched Leia shower Sade with wet, slobbery kisses as she ran circles around her legs.

Sade looked up at me, laughter in her eyes. “She’s happy to see me!”

“We both are. Leia, down. Go outside.” I pointed in the direction of the back patio.

Leia ignored me, as she tended to do, and turned her focus onto me, lapping at me and making sharp yipping sounds to let me know she was excited to see me.

I managed to get Leia to settle down, and I escorted Sade to my bedroom. I put her suitcase on the bed and pulled her into my arms.

“I’m so happy you’re here,” I said. “I know it’s only been a few days, but I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever. I’ll order something for dinner while you shower. What are you in the mood for?”

She shrugged. “Something simple. You said you wanted to stay in?”

I nodded. “If that’s okay. If not, we can go out.”

She shook her head. “No, I’d love to stay in. How about some pizza and cold beer?”

I grinned and kissed her again. “Damn, you’re my kind of woman,” I said giving her a swat on the butt and sending her on her way. “I’ll order now. Take your time. I can run you a bath if you’d like to soak.”

“Thanks, but I’m okay. Maybe tomorrow night. Your tub is rather luxurious and very inviting.” She smiled.

I laughed. “It has jets too.”

“Ohh, now you’re just teasing me!”

“Take a shower, and I’ll see you in a bit,” I told her and left the room.

Damn, she made me happy. I was sure I was one of the luckiest bastards in the world to have managed to scoop her up before another man could. All the men in college she’d been around had no idea what they were missing out on.

They had been sitting beside the best woman in the world, and they hadn’t even known it.

  Sade

I felt refreshed after my shower, but I was still in the mood to just be comfortable. Trent and I had never really had a night in. I knew I was probably skipping about twenty relationship steps, but I was jumping right to sweats and no makeup and a lazy night in.

I felt a little guilty about not getting dressed up for him, but I promised myself I would make it up to him tomorrow. I was exhausted. It had been a long week, and I was really looking forward to a night in of cuddling and just hanging out. Maybe I was getting old. I laughed to myself. He was already in his thirties, so hopefully he was into the chill nights.

“I hope so,” I mumbled, padding down the hall in my thick socks, my plaid pajama bottoms, and the super-soft cotton tank top I loved to sleep in. I had put my hair up on top of my head and felt very natural. I knew the girls would kill me if they could see me just then, but I was not one to dress to impress. I liked comfort, and if he wanted to try a relationship, I needed him to see what he was getting into.

It was me. It was who I was. I wasn’t sure where he was in the massive house. I couldn’t imagine living in a place so large—with other people. Alone, I supposed it wouldn’t be too bad, but when you were supposed to see and talk to the people you lived with, how did you find them?

“Hello?” I called, finding my way to the kitchen.

He wasn’t there. It was then I heard a sharp bark coming from the backyard area. I moved toward one set of the patio doors and opened it up. I felt my heart skip a beat when I saw him standing in the yard. His white shirt sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, the top four buttons undone as he tossed a frisbee for Leia. Was there anything sexier than a gorgeous man playing with his dog? I certainly didn’t think so.

I stood on the deck, watching them for several minutes until he saw me and waved. “Hey, you’re out!”
