“Such power…” Feng Yu muttered in awe as he looked at the scene which was happening before him, a barrier of energy wrapping around both his figure and Jing Mingyun figure as it shielded them from the shockwave of Zyne’s assault.

“It was strong, but it seems that it was not enough…” Jing Mingyun said in a soft voice as she looked at the scene carefully, the energies soon after faded revealing the semi-transparent barrier that still stood proudly as if nothing in the world could hinder its prestige.

“If it’s like this, then there is no way for the previous plan to work…” Feng Yu said in a serious manner, Jing Mingyun hearing this pondered for a bit before she replied, “There is another way… but we’ll have to wait for a bit a longer… I feel that there is a bit more to this that it seems…”

Feng Yu hearing her words also grew silent as he looked at the scene around him, he then nodded his head and spoke, “Um…”

Zyne looked at the barrier in surprise before glaring at Felman and his elders who were chanting away from the inside, “Damnit! It seems you’ve really prepared well for this, haven’t you Felman!!”

“Hahaha! What, did you think I would take you here unprepared? We’ve even had the might of a Trueblood Dragonborn in our presence; naturally, I’d have transmitted these details to my clansmen…” Felman said in a sinister manner as he looked at Zyne and Demetria, before focusing on Jing Mingyun who stood beside Feng Yu in the distance.

Demetria inspected the barrier carefully before speaking in a deep tone, “This barrier isn’t normal, it’s capable of draining the life essences and energies of any living being within its range. We will not be able to destroy it even if we attack with all-out powers jointly, the only choice we have is to wait and let it finish draining the energies from its controllers…”

Demetria said to Zyne as he heard this, they became even more serious as he knew full well how dangerous the barrier could be, Felman who saw that they had stopped attacking the barrier frowned, but it only lasted a moment before a hideous smirk came across his face.

“All will eventually go as planned…” He muttered in a dark tone as he eyes inadvertently swept towards the upper sections of the cloud sea as if his gaze could see across the numerous branches and a dense sea of clouds finally falling onto the sight of a large amount of dark feathered figures who were soaring towards this very location at immense speeds.

As Zyne and Demetria pondered how to break the barrier, the battles with members from the alliance and hawkmen had reached a new peak, their collision of energies scattering about the area leaving a few destroyed sections on the large branches.

Feng Yu seeing this became a bit edgy as he took a step forward leaving the barrier, his eyes lusting for battle as he spoke to Jing Mingyun who was behind him, “Yun’er, I’m going to use this battle to temper my skills a bit… I think it’s best if you were to hide within the void to catch the enemy off guard…”

Jing Mingyun who was already thinking of doing something similar smiled as she replied, “Mother once said that there is a custom among humans, that those of the opposite sex who share similar thoughts and ‘become one’ would typically refer to their partners as Husbands and Wife. Good! I will now address you as my husband?!”

The serious and battle-lusted Feng Yu upon hearing her words suddenly becoming shocked to the point of no words, he turned his head and looked at Jing Mingyun before stuttering, “that-that-that… I think you’ve misunderstood her words, she was referring to something else…”

“Is something wrong with me calling you Husband? Or is it that you’ve already had someone else in mind to use those words?” Jing Mingyun said in a sharp manner as her eyes carefully scanned Feng Yu’s face.

The instant Feng Yu heard those words, he swallowed his spit as he tried very hard to suppress the form of the Golden-Haired Goddess branded at the depths of his heart before he sighed as replied, “No, it's fine. Yun’er can address me as you please…”

As he said this, his body flashed as he turned into a ray of thunderblaze light that beamed towards the brutal battles unfolding before him.

Jing Mingyun smiled as she saw his reaction with curious light in her eyes as she pondered, “Humph! I will definitely meet your human girlfriend someday… and when I do…” As she pondered to herself, her beautiful silver eyes glowed in a mysterious light as her mind descended into the realm of the female unknown, one too obscure and profound for even the sharpest of men to comprehend…

  Chapter 153

The Might of Sword Intent! Third Layer Battle Prestige!

The battle continued… as a dark wind swept across the area as if expressing the mood of the current atmosphere, both forces of the hawkmen and Allied Natives collided, causing the region to become chaotic due to their clashing energies. One native rushed towards a group of hawkmen with both of his arms held above his head as they bulged by a significant degree before smashing into directing into the ground before them.

“Haaa!!” He roared as his arms broke into the branch which scattered splinters upon splinters of broken wood towards the surroundings, the force from his attacks pushing these large splinters towards his opponents instantly dicing them into different sections.

Puff! Puff! A few of the splinters sunk into his flesh causing his deep red blow to overflow from his arms and legs, however, he could only grit his teeth and shoulder the pain as a different group of hawkmen had flanked him from the side.

“Aqua Bomb Field!” A familiar voice said, causing a myriad of water spheres to scatter about a large group of the hawkmen before exploding in a bright blue light, the figure of Myria could be seen floating in the air surrounded by groups of fairies that continued to launch aquatic magic assaults towards the flying hawkmen.

Their attacks left behind a stream of colorful cyan blue lights which lit up the night scenery along with the various hues of energies which were released from both hawkmen and alliance forces.

“Their numbers are too many, and I don’t know why but I feel that more of the strength we use the quicker my energy fades…” Leon said seriously as he smashed the face of a hawkman into a region of massive branch causing his head to explode leaving behind only his brain matter and blood.

“I sensed it as well, why is mother and Zyne taking so long to break the barrier?” Myria complained as she gazed towards the distant scene with Felman’s group performing the ritual behind the barrier.

Suddenly, a streak of red-lightning flashed across the battle zone, as it moved it would swirl around and maneuver its way around the wildly battling hawkmen. The bodies of those who were swept across by this light soon after split into multiple pieces of flesh that burst into thunderous flames.

This ray of red lightning continued to sweep across the hawkmen within the battle zone as it beamed towards the pillar in the distance, soon, two large figured hawkmen noticed its presence.

Bang! The branch shook once again as one of the large and fierce looking hawkman flew forward from the sea of enemies directly reaching before the path of the trailing red beam. It then lifted its two arms and brandished them into two claw attacks which it swiftly launched at the ray of light.

“Humph! You think we didn’t notice your movements, now die!!!” The big fellow said as its arms tore through the air with a tremendous amount of force.

As if it could sense the danger, the beam of light suddenly came to a halt reverting into the form of a handsome golden-haired youth whose body was shrouded by blazing thunderous energies.

“Tsk! Already discovered seems that I’ll have to push my limits with my full power now…” Feng Yu said with a deep tone. He then leaned his body forwards with his two swords held in each hand that he positioned at his sides.

As this happened, the area of 100 meters became a shade of red as all the broken off pieces of wood from the branches along with leaves floated in the air before swirling around Feng Yu.

“Feel the power of my Extremity Sword Intent!!” Feng Yu
roared as the surrounding objects became saturated with his thunderblaze energies.

The large Ancient Hawkman abruptly came to a halt after entering the region of pure red. As if they sensed his presence, the objects floating within his domain blasted towards the Hawkman like sharp swords as a dreadful will was encoded within them.

As if these broken off splinters and scattered leaves were living beings who existed solely to kill as they gave off an aura which was akin to that of a man who has slaughtered numerous lives.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Puff! Puff! Puff!

They swiftly swept across the slow-moving figure of the Hawkman leaving behind only a few blood red lines which trailed from his body, before the energies within exhausted and they fell to the ground.

As if it had reached its limit the domain of pure red for a hundred meters faded as Feng Yu stood calmly before the body of now motionless Hawkman, its eyes carrying a look of fear as it gazed into the Feng Yu’s cold and murderous eyes.

Quickly, its body began to break down falling into large separated body parts soon after combusting into thunderous flames.

A few of the nearby battling hawkmen and allied forces become surprised as they noticed this scene.

“That’s Sword Intent! When did Chosen Yu manage to comprehend such a thing?” One of the native alliance leaders thought to himself as he battled his foe, Treantous who also saw this scene couldn’t help but mutter, “Such a young age and low level yet he is capable of understanding such a profound level of Sword Intent?”

“Dammit! He's only one brat, finish him and focus on the rest!” One of the hawkmen leaders yelled at the army of hawkmen as he battled against the Treantous whose body kept materializing branches from the surroundings to bind him.

“Kill the human!” A group of the hawkmen roared as they rushed towards Feng Yu; this group of hawkmen were giving on the energies comparable to that of a 5th Tier True Foundation realm practitioner.

As Feng Yu felt these energies, he began to have a slight feeling, but he smiled as he lifted his head and roared. “Come at me!”

Bang! His aura rose to its peak as his cultivation base climbed to his new summit, reaching the 5 Tier of Aura Disciple realm. Having previously consolidated his cultivation base when he was within the Endless Rain Zone and succeeded in breaking through to the 4th Tier Aura Disciple realm where his Half Step Supreme Tier Aura Pulse had finally gotten to show its true potential and shocking cultivation talent as he experienced no bottlenecks.

“Human! Die!” The hawkmen yelled together as they assaulted Feng Yu from three different angles, their claws striking towards his vital areas.

Buzz! The surrounding 100 once more became a shade of red as Feng Yu stood calmly at the epicenter of his enemies with both of his swords held before him in a crossword manner. His golden hair danced behind his head as the wisp-like flames of energies that dances around his form creating a barrier of fire around his body along with the surrounding objects which swiftly spiraled around his body.

“Extreme Sword Intent, Defend!!” Feng Yu roared in his mind as he abruptly opened his eyes revolving his aura at maximum.

BOOOM! The attacks of three hawkmen soon after collided with the barrier of flame and objects which spiraled around Feng Yu’s figure.

After a short while, the flaming barrier faded, and the objects fell to the ground revealing a slightly injured looking Feng Yu to word once more.

“What?!” The tree hawkmen exclaimed in surprise as they muttered, “This is Third Layer Battle Prestige!! How can you be this strong at such a low level?!”

“Get your answers from Yama after I send you to hell!” Feng Yu shouted as his auras exploded, his hair dancing wildly before his figure blurred.

  Shing! Shing! Shing! Shing!

The cry of swords sounded as a myriad of flashing white lights danced across the bodies of the hawkmen who were still within the red domain; moments later, Feng Yu once again appeared behind his enemies with his two swords in hand which now had blood dripping down their blades.

Puff! Puff! The bodies of two of the hawkmen now sustaining deep injuries which bled profusely while only one of them stood with minor injuries, the Hawkman without injuries looked at his two wounded companions with a shock across as he thought to himself, “So fast! His strength is definitely at the Third Class, damn! We’ll have to take this more seriously!”

“Gather together, the enemy is strong!” He roared as he positioned himself into a different battle posture while his energies rose to the peak as he was now prepared to use his full power to crush Feng Yu.

The two injured 5th Tier hawkmen quickly constraining their injuries as a few other 5th Tier hawkmen gather together to surround Feng Yu, as he saw this, he couldn’t help but frown as his golden eyes glowed in a sharp light.

“To think that he’d be able to withstand my attacks so easily, his strength is definitely at the 6th Tier. I won't be able to fight him head-on as I am now only the 5th Tier should be my limit. It seems that I will need to use the surroundings to my advantage and overwhelm them with my speed….”

As he said this, he jumped into the air before twirling like a spinning top that split into multiple different remnant shades that scattered about the battlefield. The 6 Tier Hawkman seeing his got angry as it flapped its wings and rushed forwards while commanding, “Don’t let him get away! Surround him now!”

“Where do you think you're going?” The hawkmen said as they soared down from the sky with ghostly speeds. Their figures blur in an out of the chaotic battle zones as they chased after the flashes of beam-like Feng Yu…

Far above this chaotic battlefield was a region of pure white clouds, a beautiful white hair young girl stood here calmly as she occasionally smiled at Feng Yu’s struggling movements, her face showing an unusually attractive kind of cheerfulness, unlike her unusual demeanor.

Suddenly, her expression changed as she swept her eyes across the boundless sea of clouds. As she did this, the corner of her lips rose into that of a smile as her sparkling silver eyes gleamed brightly.

“So now they make their move…” Jing Mingyun said as her voice faded away into the rising winds which beckoned impending storm…

  Chapter 154

The Arrival of the Bird fiend Clan!

Within the region of the red barrier at the center of the battlefield, the sound of something heavy colliding with a hard surface echoed across the area as the semi-transparent red barrier that protected the hawkmen elders rippled as if it was about to break to pieces.

Zyne who smashed the barrier with his hammer once more became excited as he saw that this barrier wouldn’t last for long, he lifted his hammer once again and yelled, “Haha! Felman, it looks like your luck has run out! Once I break this barrier, you’d best be prepared to face my wrath!!!”

Demetria who was nearby with her arms on a glowing magical rune that was connected with the barrier also revealed a cold look in her beautiful eyes as she glanced at the now pale-looking Felman who was desperately channeling his energies into the barrier.

“Dammit! How long will they take to get here? Was I wrong to believe him?” Felman thought to himself as his exhausted looking eyes continued to stare towards the distant skies.

After a moment of looking, his pale-looking face became insidious as he thought, “Chet! Fine! I don’t need them since I’ve come this far, then I should be prepared to go all the way. The legacy of ancient ancestor will carry on from this day, even if all us must be sacrificed!!”

As he said this, his eyes went mad as a look of insanity came over his face he stood to his feet and glanced at the pale-looking elders of his tribe whose life essence had mostly been sucked away by the Spiritual Bird Egg's incubator.

“My fellow clansmen… our deaths are for a great cause, the glory of the ancient ancestor shall live for all, eternity…” Felman said in a calm tone, his voice trailing away within the rustling winds of the oppressive energies coming from the incubator.
<
br />   “Zyneas the time is now!” Demetria said as the runes before her glowed in a strange light causing a network of runes to fully appear on the red barrier as if they were seals.

Zyne seeing this scene smiled as he was now prepared to utilize his full power to break the barrier, he glanced at the lost looking Felman and yelled, “Felman! Prepare to die!!!” His muscular arms expanded as the hammer grew even more significant, clusters of radiant energies gathering around its form causing a maelstrom to form around their vicinity.

Whoosh! Without wasting any time, he lept into the air and swung the massive hammer once more towards the core of the barrier. Quickly, the hammer smashed into the barrier where after creating a devastating scene.

KABOOM! The mushroom cloud formed with brilliant energies parting the clouds of the cloud sea for a region no smaller than 2 kilometers, as this happened, the sounds of ‘crackling’ could be heard as the barrier shrouded by the lights broke into pieces.

Quickly, the lights faded revealing the scene underneath it. Zyne now stood with both of his arms held before him firmly gripping the Bright Hammer that seemed to be rippling with remnant energies.

Demetria was also floating nearby with her long blue hair flowing wildly with the winds, her golden eyes glaring at the now vulnerable Felman and hawk tribe elders.

“Did you regret your actions, Felman?” Demetria asked in a cold voice as she took on a manner much like that of pure ice, Felman who was still standing in a daze before the pillar kept his head down as he mumbled incoherently.

Demetria seeing this frowned as she began to feel an odd feeling, she was about to constrain him for questioning but was interrupted by a sudden change…

“You dare to steal our artifact and initiate the ritual, are you insane!!” A towering voice said as a mighty looking dark feathered birdman suddenly materialized above the air, behind him was a large group of similar looking birdmen who continuously descended from the now vast open skies. Eventually, their entire numbers overshadowed that of battling natives as well as the hawk tribe.
