I thought my life would be easier after I unsealed my magic.
Spoiler: it’s not.
Even though I have more magic than I know how to use, I can’t be a one-person army and take my traitorous cousin down because he has multiple wizard Houses guarding his back. So I’m still stuck living at Drake Hall.
My best bet to free my family and reclaim my House is to find the Medeis signet ring, which will prove that I’m the real Adept. Unfortunately…no one knows where the ring is.
To complicate things, Killian’s conflict with the fae Night Court is heating up. War will break out soon if something doesn’t change, and Killian seems to think I might be the key to that change.
Plus, he’s suddenly gotten really weird about smelling me, which wouldn’t be such a big deal if he didn’t make my heart leap every time he invaded my personal space.
Can I find the signet ring, or will Killian get me killed in his fight with the Night Court?
