The Angels' Pride

  Nyx: Primordial Goddess of the Night, closest relative to Gaia. Her brothers are Erebus and Tartarus.

  Nyxite: Black metal formed from Nyx’s blood, an empowered metal that can cause harm to the Divine.

  The Otherworld: Magical realm created by Avalon for the Fae. It is a realm of the Dead.

  Persephone: The Queen of Hades and Hades’ wife.

  Phoenixes: Divine avian species. Hunted to extinction.

  Primordial Gods: The first of all magical beings, parents of the Gods.

  Raphael: Arch Angel, his personal guard are the Ophanim.

  Sariel: Daughter of Lilith and Samael, Michael’s sister, powerless Arch Angel. The conduit of Chaos.

  Satyrs: All male Divine race of wood spirits. Often wild and unruly, usually mate with Nymphs. Hunted to extinction.

  Samael: Fallen Arch Angel, father of Michael and Sariel, married to Lilith. Was Lucifer’s Mentor. The original Arch Angel of Death. The serpent of Eden.

  Shade: Spirit

  Sirens: All female Avian Daemon race noted for their beauty and powers of seduction. Related to the Nymphs.

  Sorcha: The current Queen of the Fae, can trace her ancestry back to Avalon.

  The Styx: One of the Rivers of Death, flows by the entrance of Hades.

  The Surface: the surface of the planet, where mortal life lives.

  Tartarus: Primordial God, also refers to the forgotten Underrealms beneath the Underworld. A prison for many forgotten Gods and Monsters.

  Thanatos: Greek God of Death, father of Samael and Azrael.

  The Underworld: The magical realms beneath the Surface. Typically where the dead go.

  Unicorns: Sentient equine Divine species. Hunted to extinction.

  Uriel: Arch Angel, personal guard are the Malikhim

  Vampires: Undead Daemon race that feeds on blood.

  Victoria: The Princess of Wales.

  The War of Heaven: Also referred to as the War. The Angel Rebellion that overthrew the Gods and brought about the eradication of nearly all the Divine races.

  Were: Daemon race of animal shapeshifters. Include the Werewolves and Werecats as the main two species but there are many more.

  Zeus: Greek God of Heaven, fathered many of the Angels.

  Ziz: Greater Demon, Guardian of Lust.
