About the Author
Elizabeth Ducie had her first piece of fiction published when she was a teenager. It took nearly forty years for her to repeat the feat! She lives in a converted Granary in Devon, located just a little too close to a stream and writes full-time when she’s not editing the Chudleigh Phoenix Community Magazine, talking to other writers on Facebook, or getting involved in all the myriad activities associated with life in a small town.
She is the author of three other collections of short stories (two in collaboration with Sharon Cook); and a series of books on business skills for writers. Her debut novel, Gorgito’s Ice Rink, was runner up in Writing Magazine’s 2015 Self-Published Book of the Year Awards. Her second novel, Counterfeit! will be published in July 2016.
You can find out more about Elizabeth’s work on her website, on Facebook or on Twitter. She is always happy to talk to readers and may be contacted here: elizabeth@elizabethducie.co.uk
