  It’s been a while since I’ve written acknowledgements, only because I always have so many people to thank and am always so afraid I’ll miss someone.

  Even now, I’m hunched over my laptop with a pint of butter pecan ice cream, thinking of everyone who comes to mind.

  So of course, I have to start with my family. My family has been unbelievably supportive of my writing journey since the beginning. I began publishing when I was eighteen years old and they have been there for me ever since. I have way too many family members to name, but to the ones who support me, you know who you are and I love you with my whole heart.

  To my fiancé. Juan, I appreciate you more than you will ever be able to imagine. If you weren’t there there for the boys during my early mornings and late nights, I’m sure I would have given up on writing long ago. Thank you for pushing me and motivating me every time I’m low. Thank you for putting up with my slack of piled up dishes and laundry when I’m in a crunch and wrapping me up in your arms when I need the comfort. I love you so much!

  To Luna Rowan for having my back and helping me when I need it most! I love how I can put you to work and you are happy to do it. That is rare and trust me, I do not take your helping hand for granted. You are the best and I love you so, so much, girl. I love your infectious laugh, your positive spirit, and how you lift me up and tell me my books are always on point. You’ve been there since the first book and I hope you’re there for the last.

  Heather Orgeron – you are my favorite Felicia. I adore everything about you, from your beautiful heart and soul, to being one of my biggest cheerleaders and closest friends. I am so happy to see you soaring and can’t wait to spend many more years together being the best felicias we can be!

  B.B. Reid! You already know how much I love you. I love meeting with you and catching up and having our writing sessions and just being us. I’m so glad you moved to Charlotte. I don’t have many people here that I can call close friends, but you are one of them. It’s always such a breath of fresh air when I’m around you and I hope our bond never changes.

  To Danielle Fuselier – Oh my gosh, girl. Oh. My. Gosh. I’ve known you for well over a year and a half now, but I feel like I’ve known you my whole life. I have never met someone so kind, supportive, real, and loving as you are. You make me smile every time we chat and my heart is always so happy when I think of you. Thank you for being a shoulder I can lean on and for letting me bounce ideas off of you when I need to air something out or break it down.

  Danielle Huffman, the original throat puncher, we go back to the Ace Crow days and you’ve been rocking with me and have been in my corner ever since. I am so in love with your spirit and am so, so happy to see you thriving and living your best life! Thank you for always being there for me and for not only being a fan, but a friend too.

  Ann Holmes. Woman, I absolutely adore you. I love our #bitchyduo chats. I love that I can pour my heart out to and have a rub on the back when I most need it. I love that you are honest with me and so encouraging and uplifting! I love you so much, girl and we will meet soon! I feel it in my soul!
